Customer service was excellent!!!! Staff was so sweet and accommodating, and so great at what they do! After over a year, due to COVID, todays mani and pedi were both exceptional!

Tech seemed to be in a rush but got the job done. I knew this was not the place for me when she started putting lotion on my diamond wedding ring before i had the chance to even take it off for the manicure. Also got a brow wax and it was not good. The place sucks for lack of better words. Go somewhere else, seriously. The review about them being rude are not false. They will talk about you in their language.

Service is friendly, quick and efficient. They does a great job at doing nails, especially nail art. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it. Very impressive. No bubbles or missed spots on the nails, which is a huge plus. I already booked my next mani/pedi appointment.

I visited this place several times. You know the saying “You never knows who’s watching.” Well, I was. The darker shade lady will talk about anybody, children included. It doesn’t matter if it is in their native tongue, it’s rude. The guy will talk about customers after they leave, in English. Oh by the way, Here, the customer is never right. They will paint with regular polish and call it gel. And their work doesn’t lasts. Posted a picture of their work a “week” later. Sorry guys. This is not “IT.”

I love this place but a simple question at opening “who was here first?” Would have made my experience today better. The employee just walked in and cut the open sign on. This wouldn’t be an issue if the the general public was more considerate of the “Wait your turn” unspoken rule.

This place whew. I don’t know how good of a work they do but first impressions matter. I’m only visiting on vacation and needed a full set. Upon entrance a guy spoke and that was it. I stood at the counter waiting on someone to asked what services I needed but never got asked. I don’t know about others but first impressions mean a lot to me especially somewhere I’m spending my money. I left without getting service because if you can’t even ask what I need I know you aren’t gonna do a good service. I will post a picture of how everyone was looking the entire 6 minutes I was in the place. Never got asked anything. Horrible. Would never recommend.

My experience was terrible. The managed said he wouldn’t design my nails, but somebody else could. The first picture is what I asked for and the second two are what I got. I’m extremely disappointed. After stopping the nail tech, she didn’t even remove the first gel polish completely. After being talked about in another language, the manager said I had to pay him and that I had to wait to get them fixed. With these results, I was not willing to wait. FIRST and LAST time. Don’t GO.

The gentleman who did my nails did an excellent job he paid close attention to detail it took a minute to sit down but completely understandable because they do such a good jobWhen he asked me what I would like to have on my nails I showed him a picture he was honest and said he could not do this but he found a lady in the salon that can do it for me I love love that honesty when he passed me over to her She was very sweet and patient and did exactly what I wantedIt was a little bit complicatedThey have lots of colors to choose from and I really like the set up and TVsThe price was fair👍🏻

Ran in to get regular toes painted only & she charged $15 it’s not the price thar bothered me it’s the fact she took her tip without asking. Who charges $15 to only paint your toes most places charge between $8-10 I’ll never be back.

This is the worst nail salon. When we walked in they did not even say hi. When we picked our colors we where waiting for an hour and we got skipped . They also need more pedicure chairs.

I’ve known Miss Helen for over 11 years! She always does a phenomenal job! I’m so particular about how my nails look and she’s never let me down. I won’t let any other nail salon touch my nails!

Came in and no one spoke to me at all, I signed in and sat down and the staff looked at me and didn’t say anything. I waited anyways but after 20 minutes of silence and no one offering to help I decided to take my money somewhere else. If your looking for good customer service this is not the place to go 🙄

Could not be more disappointed with the quality of work and customer service from this business. I went in for a fill, and almost exactly 1 WEEK LATER, one of my nails has already fallen off and other 9 (Yes, ALL NINE) are starting to pop off because of the absolutely terrible job that was done.I went in to get a refund so that I could go my usual tech (who was out of town when i decided to try this place) and the owner refused due to policy. He also raised his voice with me to the point I had to remind him that I was only in there due to their awful work. He calmed down enough to try and blame the poor quality of work on my real nails - even though ive had acrylics for YEARS and never seen a job as badly done as this one.10/10 would recommend saving your time, money, and frustration and AVOID THIS PLACE!

I gave this place 3 tries as I am looking for a new salon near my house. Pedicures were pretty good after the first visit in which I paid for callus remover and she never actually performed the service. Mimi does great pedicures no complaints there. On my third visit I began to bleed during the pedicure, she never apologized however she knew it was a deep cut because she carefully did not apply products that would not burn. The gel manicures continued to lift up a few days to a week after the visit to the point I was able to peel the the entire gel polish off!

Pretty good salon. Sometimes when I get my nails done there I get a tech who is very careful, precise, and gentle and I end up with an absolutely perfect manicure. On other occasions, I’ll have someone who’s a bit too quick and ends up making me bleed a little and/or I get bubbles on my nails. It’s mostly a good place and everyone’s nice but the experience is pretty different depending on who you’re working with.

I had a nice experience. My whole leg is in a cast and I wanted a gel polish on my toes because I wasnt sure when was the next time I would be able to get them done. They accommodate me and did what they could to make me comfortable. Im giving four stars because it was just a polish change and not a full pedicure. Once I experience a full pedicure and manicure with them Im sure Ill be changing it to five stars!

Disappointed with lack luster quality of pedicure & full set of nails. It wasn’t busy, but I felt I was treated as if they were in a rush- not friendly or welcoming. Was left w nails that were way too short for $68 plus tip. Not returning. They did appear to have quality products, but nail file, etc were all very used.

I gave this place 2 tries and I will not be returning both times I got a pedicure and was completely over charged for a basic service. The second time I made sure I told them I wanted t a basic pedicure with gel polish and I was charged $50 and i asked the lady “ it’s $50 for a basic pedicure “ she says yes and walks off so I called up there after being serviced and the man told me $28 this is unprofessional and I don’t appreciate being overcharged for a basic service , check your employees and make sure they aren’t trying to get over on your clients.

I dont usually get my nails done but I decided to try this place out based on the the good reviews and its convenient location. When I arrived they were busy so I signed in yet when it was time to get seen I was actually skipped and they took another client ahead of me. After that happened I decided to leave and I gave them a phone call to let them know what transpired however the nail technician didnt seemed bothered at all theyre more concerned with appointment so if you decide to try this place out make an appointment and save yourself any trouble because those are the only people that get the best treatment at this location. I will not be coming back and I do not recommend it for anyone else.

This place is great! Make sure you have time, cause they are a very busy place. Appointments are encouraged I think.. I just happened to walk in at a perfect time. First time being here and Helen was so helpful and courteous of the care of my nails and my wallet!!!

My go to nail place!! I was going to another salon but the quality had been going down. Last winter I was pregnant and didn’t feel like traveling to get my nails done. I live right next to this shopping center and decided to give it a try. OMG! It was awesome. And has been every time since! They scrub your calluses so good! They can get really busy which is the only downside, there is not tons of waiting room. But everyone is always really friendly and takes good care of you. The regular pedicures here are better than the deluxe ones at most places. I love this place and would recommend to anyone.

I looooooove their work !! I called earlier after to schedule an appointment. When I showed up all I needed to do was check in and sit down. Tom was the one who did my nails and I’m in love. He takes his genuine time but he’ll have you in and out within a hour. The place was nice and clean, beautiful scenery and the staff were beyond nice. Their prices are most definitely affordable.

I went to NV Nail spa for the first time last week and now I have me a nail place to go to. My pink and white was done by Helen. She is amazing. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I will definitely be going back.

They are very good at nails & pedicures. They are very busy & you never know what type of vibe to expect once inside.They have free wifi. Code posted on the wall so you dont have to ask.They offer beverages such as water, soda, and wine but you have to ask for it because they wont offer it to you if there is a bad vibe in the nail shop that particular day.The prices are usually reasonable however if you dont ask how much everything is such as a cut down or a color change you can be blindsided by extra fees upon checkout.

I go to N.V nail spa often! They have a great team and i have great conversation with all of the employees! They put customers first and it shows great work great technicians!

I wish I could put 5 stars but there is room for improvement. My suggestions include wear name tags so I dont have to ask your name. Be professional! Conversations amongst employees while waiting on me is annoying in any business but when it is in another language, loud with lots of laughing it becomes uncomfortable. I have gone to NV for at least 5 years and I think they do a good mani/pedi and other nail services, but I am thinking of trying new places. Over the last 4 or 5 visits the lack of professional and gotten worse each time. My advice give your client 100% of your attention.

TERRIBLE! do not go! i just left from this location and the people are terrible. if you do plan to go only go to the man, he is the only one that does good service. My nail chipped a day after getting them done! and because of the nail chipping, the nail broke and when i spoke to the lady on the phone she told me it would be free of charge to fix but when’ i’mthere they charge me $5! they should be lucky i’m not a crazy person who would have cussed them all out and not paid. STOP LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! if i ever go back i will only go the man. terrible customer service skills. do not recommend at all.

I go here very frequently. The owner and his wife are wonderful people. They are ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL! (ignore the negative review below, she must have been an awful client) - they have done a great job every single time and Helen is amazing at shaping and waxing eyebrows! Give this place a shot for sure!!!

Phi is an awesome nail technician and so is Helen. Viet does great pedicures and Tom is a pretty good nail technician. Also, the prices are just right. I have been going to this location for about 4 or 5 years. I love the atmosphere at times.

Waited for 45 minutes to get an eyebrow wax. No greeting. No acknowledgement of my presence . The waiting lobby is very small, not enough seats. People had to stand, and wait. In the whole 45 minute wait only three people checked out. I just left. No waxing.

Nail tech goes by Van very unprofessional. Thought she was going to charge me $60.00 for a fill-in & told her I was not paying that much. So I guess she felt some type of way and refused to service me. I will NEVER EVER go back here! You all have been warned!

Very nice nail salon. Great detailed pedicure and open on Sunday which is a plus. Only thing I disliked is the long wait and minimal staff. I did visit on Sunday and that might have been why everyone wasnt working. everything else was great!

After experiencing a few not-so-good nail salons around Charlotte, I was extremely pleased after my visit at NV nails. The nail technicians were very nice and professional. They were also very conscious of the time and had me in and out in about an hour. I would definitely recommend this nail salon to anyone in the Charlotte area.

Recently relocated to Charlotte and live in the area and was very skeptical about finding a nail salon that catered to my needs. Decided to give them a chance and I walked in, signed in, and was immediately greeted and asked of the services I wanted. I came in for a pedicure and walked out with a pedicure and eyebrow wax and it only took an hour total. Awesome service from start to finish and will be coming here as a regular customer monthly.

Appointments can be made during the week. Walk-ins only on Sundays. Wait times are pretty high in the afternoons but I found it well worth it. Each time they asked exactly what I wanted, made sure it was as I requested during the process and verified again before paying.

I am going to start off by saying I am very particular about my nails and over the past year since I moved to Huntersville it felt like I couldnt find anybody would could do SNS or gel correctly. I searched on Google and found NV Nails and decided Id try another new nail salon. I went on a Friday at 11:15 a.m. and it was already full, so the first thing you want to do when going here is make an appointment. I did have to wait an hour to be seated for my pedicure and manicure but I dont mind waiting for good service. They honor their appointments and take them first so when you are a walk in that is the risk you take. My charcoal pedicure and gel manicure were the best I have EVER had. Ril was my nail tech and she was so polite and diligent with everything she did, my gel nails have held up for 3 plus weeks which they never do. The atmosphere in this salon is very relaxing, I would highly recommend coming here. If I could give it more stars I would!

Wish i could put 0 as a rating because i used to come to this nail spa often but. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE employee was sarcastic and asked if i knew english when she gave me the wrong service!!! Then i calmly asked to speak with her to see if we could come to an understanding and she cut ALL of my nails of just to THEN tell me it would be a charge to soak them off when she gave me the wrong service in the first place. An employee ALSO CUT MY SKIN IN THE PROCESS OF FORCIBLY CUTTING MY ACRYLICS OFF and she said i was wasting her time. Very unproffesional never come here.

I am very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism of the individuals that work in this salon. I waited for over an hour, with my feet soaking, to receive a pedicure [that did not happen]. My nail tech, before even greeting me or beginning work with me starts working another client to do nail art. Meanwhile, 3 new people are placed and their nail techs immediately starts to work with them. Im still sitting and soaking my feet, after an hour. I understand this is a business and things come up that may pull you away for what you are supposed to be working on (especially, if you are only person in the salon that can do designes). The problem I have is the nail tech never addressed me nor apologized. When she finally came over to me, after I complained. She never apologized, she just directed me to place my feet up so she could take the polish off of my toes. Im an easy person and very understanding. After the nail tech decided she wasnt going to address me properly, by at least apologizing, I asked her dry my feet so I could put my shoes on. I refuse to spend money for a service when Im being treated poorly, as a customer.When I asked if I could speak to the manager, Helen. She took responsibility for pulling the nail tech away. My problem with the manager is she totally turned her back on me to help another customer in the middle of our conversation. So, honestly she showed she could care less about my complaint and how I felt as a paying customer. Its very disappointing because Helen had done my nails yesterday and I figured this could be my new nail spot! Well, their lack of customer service skill have changed my mind.

(long detailed review) Ive been going to NV nails for about a year. Fe is my fav and is a perfectionist! It is best to book an appointment with her however around December I was informed she was out of country and wouldnt be returning till March (couldnt really confirm for sure this is when shell return) I was a little shocked because Fe didnt even give a heads up she would be leaving for so long and I was a regular. :-( I had been to Trina before in the past (shes good & on her way to perfection but not quite there she doesnt know how to do designs, sometimes the SNS polish is applied to thickly and where the nail polish meets cuticle isnt perfectly shaped) But then sometimes she nails the thin application and cuticle perfection & is why I say shes on her way! One of my biggest pick-peeves is perfection where nail polish meets cuticles because when it grows out itll look like trash but if done nicely your nails will still look flawless until your next return. I then gave Real a try (good but not a perfectionist (something is off with her shaping & she loves that darn drill!) She likes to apply three coats of SNS and I had to tell her Two coats only for me please I noticed my nails where getting a little thin so I stopped her from using the drill seems like she could be great not sure if its her speed or what that is stopping her from reaching perfection. I have never been to the owner (very nice) or his wife (they are always doing acrylics but seem like they do good) The other two ladies are decent but not up to my standards for my nails but I will let them do my pedicure.The pedicures are just okay, I started getting the deluxe to see if my pedicure service would last longer, feet massaged longer or if my toe polish would last longer. The only difference is price and the product they add to the water. I have timed them on giving someone a basic pedi vs my deluxe and I didnt get any extra time. It depends on whos doing your pedi b/c Ive seen my deluxe end before the other persons basic pedi. I no longer get the deluxe. The vibe is always nice/positive (One of the friendliest nail salons Ive ever visited) always clean and they give complimentary Wine :-) You can count on good service and an okay nail job. Good just isnt enough for the inner perfectionist in me. I want a gorgeous perfect SNS application week after week! One Sunday I needed a pedicure so I pulled up on NV Nails who closes now on Sunday so I tried another nail salon that is within a 5 mile radius. It is much smaller and not as pretty as NV Nails.The water was piping hot just like I like it :-) The man took his time on my feet and the massage was everything I always get white toes and his application was good. My nail polish lasted for like 3 wks without chipping (I wear heels every day!) and the white didnt turn that ugly grayish color! When I got ready to redo my SNS polish I was contemplating going back to Trina or Real @ NV Nails, knowing it would just be an okay job or I give this other nail salon that nailed my pedicure a try on my SNS polish. I tried the other spot! As soon as I sat in her chair the first thing out of her mouth was You didnt get this SNS done here?! I said No, how did you know? She said Its too thick, It looks like full-set, SNS polish is supposed to look like gel polish, very natural AND IT WAS @ THAT MOMENT I knew I would love my nails and I DID! She opened the SNS powder and poured about 1/3 of it into the top and then stirred what was left in the container (Ive never seen anyone do that! but knew it was to make sure no clumps would enter her set :-) I have received 2 compliments on my nails thus far and I will be going back to her!........Now the question is when Fe returns to NV will I return to her or stay with my new found perfectionist?

I will never go back here. Just relocated back to charlotte and was looking for a place to go and chose them. After only having a brand new set for 12 days, 3 nails broke at the tips!! Came back to see if they could fix them, one lady told me yes, so I waited almost 2 hrs. Got in another ladies chair, she takes off my polish, starts talking to another nail lady and the other lady comes to me and says sorry if we fix you have to pay. Why should I pay to have 3 nails fixed when it was a bad job the nail lady did? I will never come back here again!!
