I absolutely love this place. Not just because of how amazing my nails turned out but because of my experience here! Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. I’ve been to plenty of nail salons where the atmosphere was not so nice and the nail techs seemed miserable and ready for you to leave, but not this place! I needed a full acrylic set asap for a wedding in two days and Elegant Nails off of Colony rd was able to get me in thankfully! Mary did my full set and she did a perfect job! She was so patient, professional, & very sweet, by the time I left, it was about half an hour AFTER they closed and I hadn’t realized. She didn’t rush at all despite this, she was dedicated to perfecting everything and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! Genuinely the best experience I’ve had at a nail salon and the best full set I’ve had done. 100% recommend to anyone and everyone. You won’t be disappointed coming here I promise!!

Firstly, let me say that I AM SO GLAD THAT I DECIDED TO COME HERE!! My girlfriend and I came to Charlotte for a weekend getaway and wanted to have a relaxing spa day. I initially went on Google to look for the best nail salons in Charlotte, and Elegant Nails and Waxing was one of the top spots.The customer service is ABOVE REPROACH and the environment was clean, relaxing, and professional. Julie, the manager, took care of us from the very beginning and also was courteous enough to explain that there would be a short wait (as we were walk-ins) but that she would take amazing care of us. Even though they had about a half dozen customers when we arrived about 4 on a Sunday (they close at 4) they were fully staffed...she and her staff did just that. We were able to relax in the comfortable spa massage chairs with our feet soaking in warm water and enjoyed quiet relaxing time while we awaited our turn patiently.We both got deluxe pedicures, I got a manicure (with a natural buff), and she got a gel-fill in. The level of care Kay, Kim, and Lyam put into caring for our requests was well above what I would have ever expected. I ended up getting my eyebrows waxed as well, and I could not be happier!The value for the service that we received was excellent! The personal touches that Julie and her staff put into play makes all the difference! We will definitely be coming back to visit again!!! Thank you ladies!!

Elegant Nails at Colony Place is the only place my daughter and I go. Since we found Mary and her wonderful staff, we have been so happy with each service. We now make it a monthly treat together. We travel 25 mins to come to Elegant at Colony Place. It is the BEST !!!

I have been to Elegant nails Colony rd location twice now and I am very happy with my nails both times. Mary is always really sweet and easy to talk too. She does amazing work and I’m so glad I finally found a place I will go to consistently. She also said a great job on my eyebrows!

Mary, Sue, and the staff do an excellent job of meeting the customers needs! They work hard to provide the best service possible for current customers and walk ins. This is difficult due to COVID and really taken measures to ensure all their customers are satisfied.

I have been coming to Elegant Nails at Colony Place for almost 6 years. Mary and her staff are wonderful! I would not think of going anywhere else. The salon is super clean and they use all the COVID precautions! My nails have never been more healthy! I highly recommend this salon!

Accommodating to a walk in this Monday at around noon. Full safety protocols were followed and made me feel safe. The shop is clean and they are taking the extra steps needed in their COVID environment. The ladies are wonderful that work here! It’s such a personalized service and they allowed me to relax but also we had great conversation. I will be back in a few weeks to try some of their other services!

Tammy and Ann did an amazing job. The salon was extremely clean and all safety precautions were taken. They have plexiglass screens at the manicure stations and pedicure bowls, temperature screenings and hand washing protocols. All employees were wearing masks correctly.

We found this place from Google maps. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Kay. Honestly its hard for me to sit still and relax but she was so gentle and this place is so calming, I finally relaxed. Im definitely coming back

My and my friend go there every other week. They are always nice and polite and will never rush to get you out the door. I always get the nails I want, these girls are amazing at what they do!

I have been going to this salon since I was a child, and I dread when I have to go anywhere else because I know it wont be as good of a job. Here, they sanitize everything, even put protective coverings over the pedicure bowls, which is really important to me. They do an excellent job--if you ever have to wait it is worth it. And, if you have an issue they will be happy to fix it.

I have on several occasions made appointments and had to wait as long as 20- 30 minutes . But today beats it all! I have company from overseas and we had walked in yesterday made 2 appointments for 9:00 this morning. There were 3 of us waiting outside for our 9:00 appointments and only 1 person from elegant nails was there early enough to have begun at 9:00.That was CARMEN.she didnt have a key and was waiting with us to go in and work. We left at 9:15 the place was still not open! We finally was able to speak to someone at around 9:20.

Did a fantastic manicure for a good price. Not very chatty with customer- talked a lot amongst themselves. Recommend you make appointment- you have to wait a long time without one.

We have loved Elegant Nails since it first opened in 2003. The staff are always so sweet and professional, the service is great and there has only ever been one occasion when I could not wait (I had not made an appointment.) Mary is always so concerned about my family and we love her kids too!!

Recently went for a manicure pedicure. First of all its filthy. I saw a Roach crawl under one of the pedicure chairs. The tubs didnt look very clean either. Unfortunately I noticed his after my services were done otherwise I would have walked out. The chairs are ripped and worn and everything looks old and best up. My ten day polish that I paid extra for chipped that afternoon. There were only two people working and three people walked out after they got tired of waiting. The worst part? I paid almost a hundred bucks (not even a gel) and they didnt even have flip flops for me! I couldnt believe it. Never have I had such a bad experience and paid so much.

Mary, the owner , is amazing !!! When I moved down to Charlotte.3 years ago, I was concerned I would not find a salon that uses LCN!! Mary is the only one who has the technique down pat.! She works magic !!!

This was BY FAR the worst pedi I have every had. I’ve never been charged $5 extra for OPI polish. There was absolutely no leg massage and nothing remotely special about the experience. I received a gift card from a good friend for my birthday last year and realized it was about to expire so I figured I should use it or lose it. MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE CHOSEN TO LOSE IT. I do not recommend this place at all.

While the manicure experience was great. DO NOT get SNS here. They do not know how to apply it correctly. Mine chipped in 1 DAY. Overpriced SNS and poor knowledge of application. The salon was mostly clean and sanitary.

Terrible experience. Friend liked to go here so it was my first visit. Pedicure tub was broken so no whirlpool. Pedicure was VERY RUSHED!! They did both leg short message at same time. Parafin was barely left on 5 min before removal, then quickly polished toes and were forcing my shoes on seconds afterwards. They barely understood english. Was supposed to have mani too, but told them to forget it. 35.00 wasted on this pedi. I will need another one since feet werent moisturized. Also it was a dirty feeling place with beat up chairs and plastic liners on tub. Never again. Lavander Spa is where i usually go near providence country club. Much better service there.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT ACRYLICS. I went in for a simple full set and after she glued on the plastic tips i noticed the majority of them were crooked. The lady didn’t even ask me how long I wanted them, she just took her clippers and cut them very short right off the bat. I have gotten acrylics several times before, and I know what length I like. She then asked me what shape I wanted and I said square. She filed them down even shorter and they ended up being squoval (rounded square). I asked her to please make them more squared and she had to file them down even more so that now they don’t even pass the tips of my fingers. Like I said, when I get acrylics I know wjat I want, and this is completely and 100% NOT what i wanted in the slightest. Friendly staff and nice place with fair prices, good for the basics like a mani/pedi but if you want your acrylics done well and the way you want do not come here. I will not be coming back.

Waaayyy over priced for extremely poor service! Only came here as a last resort and will NEVER come again. She rushed thru my pedicure and did the absolute bare minimum! Never time I will pay the extra gas and go to Indian trail!!!
