I honestly taught for my first time here that $50 was a little extreme for something i normally spend $38 on out here in Charlotte (here on a business trip)an then $25 for a just a color change on my toes. Not a full pedicure. Definitely not a place a will be coming back too.

I love this nail salon. The owner, is awesome. Always there and always professional.They had to stop free beverage services after COVID hit but they’ve still made great efforts to keep the salon clean and comfortable. They got new chairs for the nail bar that are super comfortable ! No more stools. I come every 2 weeks for maintenance on my acrylics and I’ve never been unhappy no matter who does my nails.They also do Venmo for tipping! Which may not be a big deal for some but for me it makes life so much easier.I come here even though there’s a nail place 2 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Although I have nail salons closer to where I live, passion Nails is my favorite nail salon and is worth the extra drive time. Everyone is kind, welcoming and they do an excellent job as they work to perfection. Clean salon with a pleasant atmosphere, good music and flatscreen TVs. I love that this salon is relaxed without being stuffy.

Great experience. Called and made a same day appointment and they took me on time. (On a Saturday afternoon) my nails look great and Tina was so thorough!

Not okay with how I was treated after informing the owner that my card was charged twice for my fill-in. When it was time for me to pay I gave my card & was asked if I would like a receipt, I replied yes. I could see that the woman who did my service was having trouble obtaining my receipt so I pulled up my mobile banking app to see if the charge had gone through and it was shown as “pending” in my account which meant it did. BUT the man instructed her to swipe my card again. I showed him that the transaction was “pending” and that my card shouldn’t be swiped again. He told me that “this happens all the time and that because a receipt did not print on their end that the transaction was voided” . I did not agree, but he insisted that we swipe my card again and that I “wait 3 days and I would see that I was only charged once.” The next morning both charges cleared my account. I notified my bank that I was charged twice, they confirmed it..and suggested I go back to the merchant for a refund, so I did.I walked in and said that I was there yesterday and I needed a refund because both charges cleared and I pulled it up and showed him. This man chastised me for not waiting the 3 days as he instructed. He still insisted that I needed to wait until at least Monday for a refund. I almost felt embarrassed for coming back before Monday knowing I had justification because my balance reflected the charges. Extremely disappointed that I will have to make another trip Monday to get what was owed to me Thursday. this situation should have been handled when I showed proof that I was charged twice. Needless to say, DO NOT LET THEM SWIPE YOUR CARD TWICE! Regardless of their machine malfunctions.

Overall my nails look beautiful but very painful process. They drilled and buffed so hard that I have cuts on my cuticles on every finger. My thumb is the worst but every nail is so sore. I thought I was being dramatic until the cuts appeared on day 2. This was my first time getting SNS and I’m scared to do it again. Not sure if I’ll be back, it worries me that people may end up with cuts like this and then go to dip their fingers in the dipping powder they use for everyone... $40 is a lot to pay to get cut up. The place is very clean and their color selection is incredible. Respecting COVID-19 guidelines to the max. There are lots of positives but not sure if it’s worth it.

I’ve been here several times. I keep trying to give the benefit of the doubt cause they can be a hit and miss. But lately they have been a disappointment. If they get busy the techs will definitely start to rush on the service they are providing for you. This last service I went in for a soak off and a manicure. It was not busy at the time of arrival. But about 20mins into being there it start to get busy. My tech started to rush. I even ask her why all of a sudden it was a rush. It got so annoying that I didn’t even allow her to polish my nails. I got up and left after she completed the full manicure with no polish. I’m over this salon at this point. I’ve gave way too many chances and I won’t even speak on my previous experiences.

Love Passion Nail Bar! They do a fantastic job and it is kept so clean!! They have a great variety of manicures and pedicures to choose from and the staff does a wonderful job! We have been going here since they opened a few years ago!

Pros: Nice CLEAN establishment in a very nice area. The staff is courteous, and the chairs are nice.Con: I spent $75 plus on a pedicure, and my toes don’t tell that story. The polish is nice, but that’s it. Cuticles weren’t cut and dead skin around the nail was not removed.I normally don’t complain about mani/pedi service, but when you pay that much AND tip, you expect better. Not sure if I’ll return.

3 times trying this salon and I will not be back.After calling several other salons in the surrounding area I can tell you that this salon is more expensive than every other salon in the surrounding area. They charge for everything separately and charge more for acrylic and fillings than I have seen at any salon.$30 for basic clear acrylic and $40 for colored acrylic then if you want the gel polish $20 extra. Most salons charge $17-$22 for acrylic and discount the price for the gel polish when combined with a manicure well not this salon everything is charged separately.Visit number two and I left with several cuts around my cuticles from the lady filing my nails too much. And don’t ask for any creative designs because they can’t do it.Unless you like your wallet robbed stay away from this place.

Love the natural lighting, the beautiful nail bar. Im happy that its so close to my home in Berewick. I came in for the smooth feet pedicure which Im officially in love with. The lady who did my pedicure informed me that since it was Tuesday there was an eyebrow waxing special, so I got my eyebrows done too. I just love the fact that the nail techs here are knowledgeable in all areas, so the lady that assisted me not only did my toes but my eyebrows. I enjoyed my mimosa as well. Thank you.

Ive been to Passion Nail Bar many times and received great service but, I must say during my last visit the customer service was above and beyond. I was the last customer to arrive at 6pm and the last to leave. The manager and the nail techs were patient, took their time to make sure my nails were done to perfection, as well as dry before I left the shop at 7pm. I wasnt rushed or felt like I had to leave because it was way past closing. Thank you Passion Nail for another great experience.

Found this place randomly with a friend a few years ago and its the only place Ill go to get a pedicure now! They have so many options to cater to your relaxation and their prices are very fair. My personal favorite service they offer is the extended massage pedicure and every tech Ive had help me has been very nice and great at what they do. On top of great service, the salon is very clean and follows all the guidelines to keep safe from Covid. They even have a punchcard that you can fill to get money off after 5 visits! All in all, you get your moneys worth and I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Wonderful! They have such a great staff and a variety of services. There’s never a wait and it’s all beautifully decorated. The space is clean and they show really great cooking shows and play good music.

New to CLT and was worried about finding a nail salon that I actually like. Im very picky and was going to same place in NY for about 20 yrs. Passion has exceeded all expectations. Lex does my nails/feet and Katey does my mans. Both are meticulous and never disappoint. Also, Passion is only minutes away from our house. What luck! 😁

I had been going to the same nail salon for over 4 years when there was a switch in ownership that caused me to search for a new place. Passion Nail Bar opened up right by my house but I’d seen some mixed reviews but decided to give them a try. SO glad I did!!! I have my go to technician who is amazing!!! She is attentive and pays so much attention to detail! There’s a couple others that have done a really great job as well! If you’re on the fence about giving them a try, please do! It’s a very clean and upbeat environment!!

I really liked this speed and quickness of this salon and the determination to get you out of there. They were once my go to.. But i do not appreciate them giving me the new girl and my nails popping off in less than 1 week. And this place is quite pricey for that to occur. Also my nails were bulky and huge. Great service, pricing is good and reasonable, great customer service from all of the employees who work here. Very understanding when I ask questions or want something done with my nails! I am very particular about my manis and pedis. So picky that I tried at least 10 nail salons in almost two years of living in Charlotte. Passion met and exceeded my very high standards. Clean! Sanitary! Socially distant! No loud talkers!*Had to edit this review after a few months of using one tech at this nail place. Today I went to a different tech due to my own schedule conflict. My sub was sub par. She was too rough on my nails with scraping off the gel polish. She also tore my cuticles with dull nippers till I bled. Then she filed the sides of new gel nails with an unseasoned acrylic (not natural) nail board and cut me that way too. The lesson was this: Find your tech and stick with her. Mine is Katie.

I recomended this place to my wife because a realtor named Sir Ashley gave it high marks. They did ok with my wifes pedicure but she decided not to get her manicure because the equipment for your hands didnt look that clean. If it were me I would have walked out. Check out the cleanliness beforehand.

This salon does not honor appointments. My first appointment I waited 30 minutes for a nail technician and continued with service. I called for appointment the second time and named the nail tech to secure; and when I arrived I was told, “There are 2 people in front of you, but I’m going to figure it out” when asked why appointments have less value than walk ins, the reply from manager was “we are short staffed sorry”. There are about 10 technicians in there lol.Very hard to find a solid nail salon in Charlotte but I am still hunting. Don’t waste your time. Unless you have time to waste :)

I normally go to salons to get my eyebrows done and the occasional manicure or pedicure if there was a special occasion. This place changed my mind. All you have to do is test for an appointment very simple. I live almost an hour away and I take the drive to get my nails done here. They last & they’re always professional and friendly when I visit. I am going to miss them when I move out of state in a few weeks. 😔 I will definitely recommend.

Just okay. I wanted Gel but got something else without realizing it or being informed. The hours online said they close at 7:30 but the sign says they actually close at 6:30.

Very unhappy with their rules that do not make sense. One rule is they do not combine stamp cards! Who keeps up with cards continuously or remembers EACH time they come in? The bottom line is that if you have “x” amount of services you should receive whatever they say you receive! Not allowing combined cards is just silly. They should really consider go to a phone number system like most places instead of treating paying customers this way. They also have very different perks for card versus cash users. It really rubs me the wrong way when I feel a salon does things to save a buck here or there. Simply not professional at all! I’d even prefer a price increase rather than to be made to feel like the company is cheap and trying to earn a buck any way they can.

I went to get a fill in & gel polish. As soon as I left, one of my nails started peeling. I called the salon & they told me to come back for them to fix it. I went back, they fixed the one damaged nail. By the time I got home, a different nail started peeling. I called the salon & told them. They asked me to come back and they would redo all of the gel polish. I went back to this salon 3 times in one day and was not offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. 2 days later, my nails have started to peel again. I definitely will not being coming back to this salon!

Charged me extra for services i did not received, even after talking to the manager didnt fixed it, went for a acrylic fill in and left my nails different sizes, cut my skin in multiple fingers, all in all this was the worse experience i ever had, it could have been handled differently by the manager. Never coming back to this place.Edited to add: its evident the lack of professionalism from the manager with this answer. Since i cant add the picture here of the horrible job they did i will post it on the google pictures of your business.

I absolutely love this nail salon! I am a FAITHFUL three week customer :) I normally see Tina for my SNS nails and pedicure service. I most recently seen Hanh for the same service and she did an amazing job. I always get such great compliments and every lasts for the whole three weeks! They keep everything so clean, everyone must wash their hands at least twice. And I never have to wait. I usually make my appointments in advance, so that helps. Great all around service! I highly recommend!

I always love going here. Blake is the owner/manager and he is so welcoming. Most nail salons dont really treat you like you matter but they make you feel special when you come in. Pre-Covid they served mimosas, wine and beer which was awesome! Id love it when that comes back. If you go Monday- Wednesday, they usually have a promotion on pedicures.
