We recently moved to a home near this salon. I thought I would give it a try as my old nail salon is 10 miles away. First time I went, they did an ok job for a $48 pedicure plus tip. The salon by my old house charges $38 for same service. So today, I went again for another pedicure. As I was about to check out I overheard another customer asking for their punch card to be stamped. I paid $48 plus $7tip total $55. I asked the lady who ran my credit card for a punch card, she was looking very confused. Then i spot a business card with punch card on the back. I pick up the punch card and I point to it. She turns to another near by woman, that woman steps over and informs me that “the punch card is for Zelle paying customers.” Let me remind you that there is no sign indicating that the punch card applies to Zelle customers only. I feel that this is tax evasion, unethical -from running a business perspective, and its customer discrimination. My next pedicure will be at the salon by my old house.

Informative, professional, and honest. I came here with no appointment not knowing exactly what I wanted. The man running the front counter at the time made sure to explain all of the different nail treatments and why he thought one would be better for me- It was the less expensive option too, hence the honesty. He wanted to make sure I was very happy with my experience and that I left with exactly what I imagined, and I did. On top of all this, I noticed a lot of other customers coming in without appointments as well during my treatment, and he made sure to cater to every one without making me feel rushed. Thank you!

I do love this place. Everytime I go there for a pedicure, its a nice experience. Everyone is nice and skilled. My feet and toes always look awesome.

Pricy but clean work

$28 dollars and still have rough feet...She only took 40 min with me including polish. Used an unsanitsized nail brush on my toes and didnt use any sanitizer in the water. Not particularly happy and I wont go back.

I am in love with this salon. I have been here twice now and I have been extremely impressed both times. Danielle is a wonderful technician and she runs a beautiful store. The shape of my nails are absolutely perfect. Usually when I get powder dip, my nails feel too round and bulky. Lynn and Danielle both gave my nails the exact shape I asked for. I have never received more comments on my nails before. I will definitely keep going here as long as I live in this area.

Its a nice place, have only been their twice. They do a good job. My 2nd time was better than the first. So maybe the third time will be awesome.

I am SO HAPPY to have found Modern Nails and Danielle specifically for my nails. Everyone there is great and I will get pedicures from all of them. I do have Danielle do my nails. I have very weak natural nails, but dont like tips or acrylic. She does dip on me and my nails never chip or break. Highly recommend for cleanliness, taking COVID seriously and overall great experience every time.

They yelled at me because of the frequent flyer card they just gave me. My daughter and I have been coming here for months. They did a good job on our acrylics, they were easy to work with if something broke. The last time we went in the technician that did my nails gave me a frequent flyer card. She gave me three stamps and said something about one being for my daughter. When my daughter finished paying for her nails the technician that did my nails came over and started yelling at me because she paid with a debit card and she shouldn’t have given me 3 stamps. The kicker was she said her boss told her to come over and talk to me about giving me too many stamps.. Danielle sat there watching while she yelled at me in front of everyone in the salon about a card they had just given to me! Really this is how you treat your customers? I left but then went back in to give the card back to Danielle. No apologies she just told me to keep the card. Thanks but no thanks!

Visited for our wedding party and some family. So fun! They helped us get in when we could all be together.

Terrific pedicure, no waiting, and I was a walkin. Lots of compliments on my sparkly toenails!

I have cancer...my feet have suffered from my treatment. Danielle made them look like they did before cancer. I wasnt ready for polish yet. Just trimming nails cleaning up cuticles and removing callouses. I will be going back at least once a month.

Very nice owner but nails never last 2 weeks before falling off unfortunately. Bummer because I really enjoy their customer service and the staff.

One of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I have cuts around my nails from the tech slipping when she drilled and filed my nails as well as nail polish under my nails. They are also significantly shorter than when I walked in despite me saying I didn’t want the length to change. I also asked that the shape of my nails to be kept the same (coffin), but after the tech filed them, they were a completely different shape (almond). I told her that I didn’t want them rounded, but she kept saying that it was what I asked for and it is what I should want. I asked her to stop filing them several times because I would just fix it at home, but she kept going to point where I couldn’t fix it at home anymore because they were nearly to the start of my nail bed. I wasted $35 and three hours because I ended up removing the nail polish (which was extremely difficult since it was dip) and cutting my nails the little way down to the nail bed. When the tech was removing the polish I had on from before, she got it all over my hands and didn’t bother to clean it off, so I had to file it off of my hands when I got home.

My favorite salon place ever!! Moved to Chandler 3 years and made this my home. Danielle is amazing and NEVER FAILS with her amazing designs and quality of nails. Shes my favorite. Totally recommend this place for any kind of nail service. Everyone does a great job!

This nail salon is absolutely fabulous!! Its the epitome of relaxation inside. It is beautifully decorated too!! I appreciate the soothing jazz music they play and I also appreciate the quality of the products they use. My absolute favorite nail technician is Natalie N!! SHE IS TOTALLY AMAZING, I highly recommend booking her!!! I am super particular about my nails and Natalie does such a fabulous job with them always!!

Today was my first visit here and Im very happy with my service. The place is very clean and the people are very nice. I asked for a pedicure and a new set of nails. Vincent did my pedicure and David did my new set of nails. They both were great. I recommend this place if youre looking for great customer service and great nail care in a clean environment.

I went in without an appointment for a full set and a pedicure. I expected a wait since I didn’t have an appointment and they were busy, but I didn’t have to wait very long before they took me in. (I noticed they had a great amount of staffing compared to most salons) Danielle did my nails and she was so sweet and is AMAZING at what she does. I am very picky about my acrylics. I had my pedicure right after and really enjoyed myself! The salon is gorgeous and very clean. This was my first time there and definitely not my last.

I love this nail salon. David is the best! Very nice it is clean and the customer service is great. It has a very friendly atmosphere and Ive never had such a nice manicure.

I was not impressed with my pedicure here. They told me to wait when I arrived and checked in but didnt give me an approximate time. The massage was sub-par. My nails were longer than I wanted (I had told her I keep them very short because I run, but she didnt check with me on the length). No design was offered. And she clipped some of my skin around the nail which ended up hurting later. Ill probably try someplace new next time.

I received a fantastic pedicure here today. I had been looking for a new nail spa for quite some time and this was it. The technician was very good; spa was clean and inviting; and prices reasonable. I will be going back!

A couple good things: its a brand new, beautiful shop and my wait was shorter than I was quoted.Heres where my issues start: I have gel nails, so the tech took my original color off, then filled my nails, told me to hold them in front of a fan and brought me the colors to pick from.I put the basket of nail colors on his table and he nearly lost it. He told me I had to hold them in my lap. So, I have one hand in front of the fan, and Im trying to go through rings of painted nails while balancing the basket on my lap. Im not that picky so I found a color on the second one I looked at. Then I had to sit there balancing the basket in my lap while he worked on my nails.He told me I had to tell him the brand of the nail polish (on the back side of the nail dials) and the number. Thats how it works, he said. So I tell him the brand and I said I think this says number 52, I cant read it. He points to the number next to it and says thats 63 so obviously this is 62. Like Im stupid. Sorry, Im trying to hold my hand in front of a fan, balance a basket of nail dials and sort through them, I didnt notice your number system.I dry my right hand under the light, he moves it for my left hand and then wants me to jam my right hand on top of my left, under the light, so it dries more. Every other place I go to, they just have me do one hand at a time so I dont smudge the nail polish. So, now I have my right arm crossed over my body and jammed under the light, trying to hold perfectly still so I dont smudge either of my hands.Then he goes into this long dissertation about how I should go see his wife because shes really good, theyve only been open for 7 months and shes always booked. And then he proceeds to say people arent understanding; just because they make an appointment, doesnt mean they get to be seen at that exact time; sometimes prior appointments run over and sometimes your appointment might be 5 to 10 minutes late and he rambled on and on about that.I realize Im lucky to get my nails done and this sounds kinda prima donna but, I go to get my nails done so they look pretty. And also to get a break from work and my kids. Its an hour of quiet time and relaxation. Im paying for a service and this was anything but relaxing.

NEVER going again. went here tonight and asked for a fill and a coffin shape. i had an appointment at 6 pm and when i walked in they were incredibly rude. that should have been the first read flag. but i proceeded to sit down and choose a color. he said that coffin was 5 dollars extra and that was fine. u processed to cut the nail and start filing. during the process he told me that coffin is hard and “most people get cut” in the process. so after that whole thing he then put some type of liquid on my nail which burned really badly and started filing some more. He kept filing and filing till i felt like the nail was gonna snap. he then put the acrylic on and filed for another 10 minutes. after that he started to paint. he did NOT use a base coat and started to paint on the polish very sloppily. he then put my hand in the light and did the other hand the same way. he then did another coat and finished off with top coat. during this whole process he then checked his watch and started going quicker. i have no clue why he started rushing when it was only 6:30 and i was already almost done when normally it takes about an hour. he then put some cuticle oil on and told me to rub it on myself. then he said “go wash ur hands or use this lotion” i then used lotion because i didn’t wanna be there any longer. he cut me everywhere on my fingers and it hurts still. he was very rude, very sloppy, very un social like and didn’t even look at me. i walked out with a thin crappy nail on the verge of breaking, and a few dents in it as well. never going back. don’t recommend

Modern nails has a great atmosphere and great technicians they have the dip manicure which I love, however the lady up front who is in charge is extremely rude and has yelled at me on a few occasions. She is very argumentative and condescending. Im not sure why but it is not how to treat paying customers.

My friend and I tried Moderns out and loved it! Its going to be our regular pedi meeting place moving forward. Clean, new, *great* service...cant wait to go back.

Worse nail experience I have ever had. Asked for long stiletto shape and left with the ugliest egg shaped nails. She tried to fix it making my nails shorter and shorter to where I left with no length whatsoever. Basically left with acrylic build up on my nail bed and I paid $50 for that. Awful, definitely would not recommend this place.

Danielle and all of the staff are awesome! No high pressure sales, you get exactly what you ask for. I have walked away happy each and every time Ive gone to this spa. I drive past several nail shops to get here. I think the thing that caught me the most and has stuck with me since the beginning, danielle knew my name and has always remembered it. First time getting my pedicure done at this place with my girlfriends it was good. They took the time to get the pedicure done with sugar scrub and orange slices. The deluxe pedi is $35 and regular pedi is $25. The technicians were good but doesnt seem friendly. But thats ok I guess. I just want my pedicure done and relax using the massage chair which was awesome by the way. Definitely recommend this place for mani and pedi. Clean place. Price seems reasonable. Definitely recommend you to book the appointment.

Very disappointed. I love this place very much and never had a bad experience. Well the lady that did my nails got acrylic all over the side on my finger and my cuticle. I didnt really realize it because it wasnt super noticeable. Well I had water under my nails so i knew they were lifting and I removed them. Ive never had a problem doing that and it never hurt like this. It felt like I was pulling a tooth. I pulled up and the acrylic had eaten on my nail the side of my fingers and my cuticle. Im in pain and Im furious because Iost a finger nail to some sub par nail work
