Quick and easy experience. The vehicle I rented performed great and met my expectations. The only downfall is that the SUV didnt appear to have been washed when I picked it up but the interior was clean and it looked like it had been sanitized. I was rent from them again.

We reserved online and got a great price for the car. Picked it up at the Cedar Rapids airport and were offered an upgrade in vehicle. The car (Toyota Camry) was excellent, and the return process was the simplest and easiest weve ever experienced. Couldnt have gone any more smoothly.

If i could rate this place a zero, i absolutely would. The lack of communication between employees and other branches cost me personally over $250. First, they allowed for me to have a dog with me. But, they never communicated that if they deemed the shedding of the dog too much they would need to detail the car. After reading the terms and conditions multuple times, theres no where in there that states that beside being deemed mechanically undrivable, which of course fur has nothing to do with that, I would have detailed the car myself if i had known, especially since i returned it early. I would have cover the ONE seat my dog sat in so any shedding onto the seat would have been prohibited. There were other courses of action that could have prohibited this problem, but because of the ZERO communication I recieved on this topic, the renter and the CONSUMER is the one paying for THEIR mistake. Makes me wonder what else theyre taking advantage of.

From start to finish, my Enterprise car rental experience was smooth, seamless, and provided great value!Initially, I searched online for the cheapest pricing for car rentals and was successful in my attempts. Service was fast. drop off was also easy. My only complaint is the cleaners they use for the car make it smell like an old rental apartment. Other than that the car worked great, was just what I needed.

If Enterprise would have returned my call I wouldnt post this.I got a high mile used car this time around.You could tell this car had been around the block a few times..... dirty with tracks of previous customers very obvious ....wear and tear quite noticeable..... low traction on tires ( even indicated on screen panel) .... This vehicle definitely needed some maintenance attention.I contacted customer service who said they would have someone contact me but they never did..... person at desk at airport never ask me anything.... I guess being a club member has no benefits.......

Reserved a small SUV two weeks prior to our need date. When we arrived we were told there were none available. We were offered a large SUV or large pickup at the same rate. We took the large SUV but it was not what we wanted. We just think with two weeks notice you should be able to get what you want.

I appreciated the quick work to get my car and to get going. However, Im not sure if policy has changed where you can now smoke in cars or not, but the car I received was very dirty, stains on the seat that had settled in, and smelled horribly like cigarette smoke. I had originally rented the car for 3 days and returned it after a day and a half and decided to rent elsewhere for the remainder of the days I needed a rental.

We got to Cedar Rapids late and got our bag and car. Went out and got in the car. Started it to let it warm up a bit and noticed it displayed “Maintenance Required” on the dash. Went back in to tell the employee who gave me the keys and he had already closed down and left.The inside of the car wasn’t cleaned as well as it should have been. The biggest problem was the inside of the windshield was smeared where it had been wiped at. Made it hard to see driving at night and I didn’t have anything to clean it with.The car was a nice car and the young man who checked me in at the Des Moines airport was very friendly and professional. I enjoyed getting to chat with him while he completed the check in. His name is Nathon...I remember because he spelled it for me.

Picked up the car and discovered that there had been something spilled on passenger side interior and was not cleaned up. Counter was busy and we were on a tight schedule so unable to ask for a different car so we took pictures as a record. When we returned the car on Sunday we brought it to their attention and they immediately knocked 20 off the bill. It is always a pleasure to work with the folks at Enterprise.

I rented a car from a small airport for 6 days from Enterprise for a visit home. The agent was courteous, helpful and expedient. The car was clean, comfortable and effective in some uncertain weather. Turning in the car was fast and easy. I will definitely rent from Enterprise again in the future.

The service person at the counter was friendly, and taking care of multiple companies simultaneously. The car worked fine and was the size we chose, but it smelled heavily of smoke. When my friends got into the car later they noticed the same and said it was terrible

The overall service was phenomenal. The only takeaway that should be improved is the rate estimate because the rate does not accurately reflect the estimate. Due to me returning a vehicle after facility hours, the site should automatically factor in the charge for an additional day because its not like the vehicle is checked back in during the middle of the night. The vehicle is basically returned whenever an agent goes out to inspect the vehicle. Other than that, I dont have any complaints.

**EDIT** After reading over the many other reviews, something pops out to me. Enterprise only responds to negative posts. Maybe think about showing some appreciation for the other customers. The ones that keep coming back and thanking Enterprise through their reviews. I recently ordered a part online. Part came in, and all was good. A few days/week later, a company associate called to ask if everything was good with my order and to THANK ME for my business. WOW, I had never been called by a company to check if I was happy and to thank me. I know Enterprise cant call every customer, but something to think about...**EDIT**Got a very nice Chrysler 300. Mostly smooth ride. Transmission was beginning to show signs of slipping. But, it didnt really bother me and I could tell it had many miles left on it, so I didnt bother taking it back.At the end of my rental, I informed the desk clerk of the issue. I just wanted to bring it to their attention, so they could have it checked out. They wanted to give me this, offer me that, but I told them it wasnt a bother for me. I didnt need anything. They still gave me a x2 free upgrade on my next rental.On pick up, the clerk was very helpful and polite. I was the last reservation for the night and he sat there patiently waiting till I arrived.On drop off, the customer in front of me forgot the car keys when he left. The clerk took off running all the way outside to catch the customer and gave them the forgotten keys. She could have just stayed at the desk, held the keys, and wait till the customer walked all the way back, but no. She was looking out for her customers.

I rented a car from enterprise at the airport. For the most part it was painless but when I initially reached the front desk there was no one to be found anywhere. After about 5 minutes an older man came walking in from outside from doors about 100 ft away. I thought Okay, no problem. He is here. Great! It wasnt much after our reservation time. However when he got to the desk he said he was helping a customer outside and we would have to wait again and he would be back. We probably waited at the counter for 15 minutes total with a few others lining up behind us. I do understand he was helping a customer it just seemed like more than one person was needed at the counter because the cars were not extremely close since we were at an airport and it seemed like too big of a job for one person. Check out went smoothly without any problems but we did not get taken out to check over the car for any damages before we left. The car was in good condition so there were no troubles with that when returning it but overall it was a different experience from other renting experiences.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the agent nor the pickup of the car. There was something disturbing about the car. I picked it up at the CID airport and drove to Marion, IA where I stayed for 5 days. While I was driving I noticed that there was a lot of road noise that I could hear in the car. In particular, each day the wheel noise got slightly progressively worse. You hear it particularly at slow speeds. It had to been noticed while it was being serviced before I got it. Fortunately nothing drastically happened this time. I am under the impression that little care is shown other than to make sure the the car is clean, does not have any unnoted damage, and the tank is full.

Our experience with Eastern Iowa Airport Enterprise Car Rental met or exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by an employee who was very professional, very friendly, and made the process go quickly. We were offered a free upgrade to the next class of vehicle, and options in that class. Im from Atlanta, Ga but had a rental in Cedar Rapids, IA. I arrived at 9:30 am on a Thursday and was told they only had 1 vehicle available for a full size which was a Nissan Altima. She quickly offered me an upgrade for an additional cost. When I went outside to the parking space to pick up the vehicle, they were bringing up a different which resembled a full size vehicle which was appeared to be larger. Whenever I rent a vehicle in Atlanta, this is never a problem. You all need a better selection of vehicles at this location. All cars are designed differently inside for comfort. This one was like a midsize/compact car

Hertz is sold out of cars, airport shuttle just took last van and others are closed and the 800 # couldnt help either. I called and left a message to confirm my ride as well while in Chicago.At a small regional airport in corn country. So much for service! Guess they dont care about my plans !

I rented a very nice Infinity Q60 SUV with only 10,000 miles on it for 7 days to attend a funeral . Great Car ! The only thing is that they didnt take the glue off the window when they removed the sales sticker and it was difficult to see out that side of the car. when you rolled the window up and down it made a horrible sound from the glue rubbing against the rubber in the window. I brought this to their attention when I returned the car but if they havent done anything before this I dough that it gets fixed .Besides that I have been renting cars from Enterprise for 30 years and they are a great company !

I reserved a car CID several days ahead. One customer was at the counter who had just stepped off a plane. He was given a car. I presented my reservation paper work and was told they didnt have any more cars available. They only had a van. I asked about the gas mileage of the van compared to the Altima and was told they get about the same mileage. My overall experience makes me re-think ever using Enterprise again. I dropped the car in Omaha. The agents there were sympathetic but I still dissatisfied with my Enterprise experience.

I received the most disgusting rental car Ive ever driven. It smelled like a bunch of farm animals drove around for a month with the windows up smoking cigarettes then attempted to cover it up by spraying multiple types of disinfectants and air fresheners throughout the cabin. The combination of stench and chemicals made me physically sick. I was only driving a mile or two at a time while in Cedar Rapids so I could roll the windows down and survive the short trips but on day three of my rental I was set to drive four hours to Minneapolis. I brought the car back and explained the situation. The rep, without hesitation, upgraded me to a small SUV that was in perfect condition which resulted in a very comfortable and pleasant drive through Iowa and into Minnesota. Sometimes things happen that result in bad experiences so our level of satisfaction with the service/product must be related to how the problem was addressed and solved. This resolution gets an A+ from me which is why I gave a five star rating on this interaction. I regularly rent from Enterprise and they will continue to be my first choice when I need a vehicle while traveling.

The only downside of the rental was that the car had been smoked in by a previous renter, and I had to go purchase an air freshener to mask the odor. I have always had great rentals from Enterprise.

The van I rented was very clean and in perfect running condition, it even had a navigation system which I was very happy about. There were a couple issues that I was not happy about:1) the lady at the counter told me where to go find my van and when I walked out to the parking lot it was not in the spot I was told and it was a 95° day and I had to find someone to help me find the van.2) I was told (as I requested )that the van would have a dvd player in it and it did not.3) when I returned the van I was never asked if everything was ok, I was only asked how many miles I put on it (even though my rental included unlimited mileage).Overall, the van worked well for my family I just felt the customer service could have been better.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car charges the customer for a full refill if you rent from them using the one way method. Plus you also need to fill the vehicle upon returning; if you dont then you are charged $5.63 per gallon of gas. I call this highway robbery as their prices are a lot higher than what I have in Alaska for rental vehicles. I was charged $23.53 for my one way trip & then filled it up prior to returning. Their employees dont explain anything when you pick up vehicle nor when you reserve. I have one more rental from Enterprise for when I return back home to Alaska & this will be my very last time renting from them. As I have never incurred fees like this anytime I have ever rented a vehicle.

We were given a Fiat 500 two door car, when we had reserved a Compact car. The Fiat is on the Sub-compact list and would not accommodate the passengers we were planning to transport. The representative did have a Toyota Yaris 4 door available which suited, but it was a hassle. There were no other cars to choose from, either at Enterprise, or at any of the other rental companies at CID. Strange that weekday inventory would be so limited.

Nice car and agent. However, the car was not parked where it was listed so I had to back into the terminal and the agent went out to find it and it was 6 rows away. I got soaked in the rain with all the walking outside, but that is life. No issues with the car and I was glad I had 4wd in the snow, ice, etc.

Reserved a car over the phone and was told the final price would be $54 and about $20 more if i want to add insurance but once i got to the place, the agent showed me a total of $104 with insurance. Eventhough, I tried telling him that I have a car reserved for $54, he kept telling me that whoever gave you that price was wrong! I had to rent the car because of an emergency but definitely wont deal with them in the future. Rip-off at its finest!

The location is pretty good and the people are always nice. There does seem to frequently be a line at the enterprise booth when I am coming or going from the airport.Couple criticisms about Enterprise though (these are fixable, so this is constructive):1. I am not sure why I have to sign 1 form about 12 times, when I have a business account (i.e. I use them a lot) and when the form is a disclaimer about car damage when the car is ~1000 feet away, unseen. Why not just have the keys ready to go for me based on my existing reservation (that would help with that line). I think Hertz does that...2. I havent been very impressed with the IT side of their operation. I have never been emailed a receipt though Ive asked for it (not in spam either), I have no idea when National starts and Enterprise ends or where Emerald club falls (theres some co-op there, I think), and my recent trips dont appear in my enterprise rental activity - I have to search for them based on my DL info.In summary, good people and product, but mediocre infrastructure.

I rent from Enterprise every week. I have always had great service until I rented from this location last week. I rented here and dropped at Moline Airport. They charged me a rate of 211.00 for a day rental. When renting airport to Airport I have never had a one way charge until this time. I call the Moline Enterprise location and the agent was going to change my bill for just a one day rental and remove the drop fee but the system would not allow the change. She instructed me to call Cedar Rapids and they would have to change the rate. Called Cedar Rapids and they refused to change the rate. Im a Platinum enterprise customer and my office rents from Enterprise but after this experience my office will now be renting from Avis. Enterprise you can thank you Cedar Rapids location for loosing you a lot of business.

I had to rent a car unexpectedly because of a hit and run driver. My car insurance said to rent a car and they would pay the bill. Two days after the rental my inurance company said they would only pay $30.00 a day. The car I rented was $35.00 a day. So I tried to return the car to get a different one and the agent at the airport said not to exchange it they would only charge me $30.00 a day. But when I returned the car I had to pay the extra $5.00 a day, I did not get the lower rate in writing. I did not discover this until 20 days later when I returned the car and faced a big bill not covered by my insurance. Get it in writing !!

Helpful and timely. Sales team even gave us a diacount because of some concerns I had. My experience is if you advicate for yourself you will get decent prices and good service. If you dont advicate for yourself they will try to make you pay extra for things. So make sure to pay attention, and if they bump you to a differnt car make sure to request a discount.

I was greateful for the accommodating hours at the Enterprise Desk, Eastern Iowa airport - I arrived almost at midnight, the clerk was friendly and helpful, the airport was under construction so it was a bit of a trek to the car but the directions were clear and helpful. THe rate ( I had shopped ahead of time) was the best I could find of the selections available, the car was a pleasure to drive - I was a little surprised at the cost of the extra four days compared to the weekly cost - should have questioned it, but was in a hurry. All in all, a good experience.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Enterprise. I had booked a med sized car on the internet and was told it would be a Sonata or Altima. My plane got in late into Cedar Rapids, so my reservation was forwarded from Waterloo to the airport in Cedar Rapids. Even though there was a fairly large fleet of cars at the airport when I landed, I was given a Fiat. I was really angry at that piece of junk, especially for the price I was charged. I will not be doing business with Enterprise again and will also discourage others from doing business with them.

I was planning a 5 day multiple location business trip, and needed a car that I could put some miles on and drop in a different location than where I got it. I chose Enterprise, because my company had an unlimited mileage plan in place. I arrived at the counter, and was told that all they had for vehicles was a mini van or a Ford Excursion which I took, and was later charged an upgrade fee for, which wasnt stated in the initial conversation. When I got to the vehicle, I noticed that it had satellite radio. I walked back in and asked the Customer Service Rep. if he could activate it. He notified me of the additional charge-which I was fine with. He instructed me to leave it on a certain channel and give it 15 minutes to come on- which in never did. I called them back, they told me to call sirius, sirius told me to call them.....it went on for 3 days. On the third day, Enterprise called me and asked me if I could tell them what I was driving. It seems that they didnt know what they rented me. I had to read them all of the info off of the key tag. When they got it they thanked me and were ready to hang up, when I asked them about the radio, and told them my issues. She said that it was related to them not knowing what I had, and that she would credit me for the radio fees, and activate it immediately, and to give it 15 minutes to come on- it never did. I dropped of the car and got my bill. I was charged for an upgrade, not charged for the sirius- which was nice, and charged $179 in mileage. I called customer service and was credited for the mileage a few days later. NObody was rude to me at any time, it was just one of the most disorganized rentals that I ever had, and I travel for a living and have had hundreds of rentals. I guess I expected more out of them, and they didnt meet my expectations.

I recently had the worst experience ever with the Enterprise located at the Eastern Iowa Airport. My flight arrived at around 11p.m. and I was immediately lambasted by the gentleman at the counter. He was relentless in his pursuit to upsell me the many forms of insurance, even after I gave 3 emphatic nos! As I was about to make my escape he tried one last scare tactic, I was given a warning that it was hail season and that I would be liable for any hail damage to the vehicle. Being a long time renter from Enterprise I had NEVER been told this. Again, I declined the upsell and was sent off into the night with no offer of an escort to my car, nor to do a walk around to inspect for damage. If I ever rent from Enterprise again it will be with great trepidation.

I rented a van from an agent at the Eastern Iowa Airport in order to carry 4 adults to Denver, CO. The rental experience was painless and swift. I was in and out in less than 15 min., we all liked the comfort and ride. My personal vehicle is a mid sized SUV so I was somewhat concerned about gas milage prior to departure; but short fond that the gas milage was going to be much better than my vehicle. Our trip to Denver went off without problems. However the morning that we were to return we noted a flat front tire. We called into Enterprise seeking help. We were greeted by a friendly and very helpful female. She arranged for a service truck to come to our aid and even gave us her direct number to call if we needed more asaistance. When the tire was changed the repairman advised us to get the tire replaced and not to drive too far on the donut tire. We again contacted Enterprise whom contacted the only Enterprise facility open on Sundat which was at Denver International and secured a simular vehicle. We were about 20 min from the airport which was an easy drive. Upon arrival we pulled into the car return area where a.friendly person greeted us, when I explained why we were there he immediately directed to an area where we could transfer iur luggage. It seemed like it only took 5 min for the replacemrnt car to br brought to us. When I started to transfer the luggage, the Enterprise rep helped me transfer. We then headed to the exit where we again were swiftly processed. The total time at the airport was less than 30 min. During the ride home we discussed this experience in context of other companies we have used in the past. Be assured that we from now on onky used Enterprise for our rental needs.Larry TedrowMonticello, IA
