So, my girlfriend and I were leaving St. Simmons Island on vacation when we picked up the strangest thing in our tire. A freaking 10mm wrench! I got the spare on and drove to the local Firestone to see if they could possibly help me out. They gave me a great deal on a new tire and the attendant replaced the tire and installed it very quickly and he was as professional as one could be! My girlfriend tipped him with a couple of beers we picked up on Jekyll...lol!Im giving him and this Firestone 5 stars for the speed, price and professionalism he gave us as customers!Thanks so much!

Called 8 times before someone answered. Dropped off my car Thursday 7AM. Thursday afternoon they said I had to wait for the Master technician to come in Friday, (they honestly should of told me to wait until Friday to drop it off then…)Friday afternoon comes and no call, 2PM I called up to them and they quoted $384 for the repair. I called back an hour later and told them go ahead with the work, they said they didn’t have the part and I could get my car Saturday. Saturday I go to get my car and my total was $569…. I asked why was it almost $200 more. I was only quoted $384. He stated $384 was just the repair but they needed to flush and recharge the AC….I’m really saddened by the horrible communication. This amount of money is a whole paycheck for some people and+$200 misquote is disgusting. Even though I’ve come here before, I don’t think I’ll ever come back.

If I could give zero stars I would. My normal shop was closed for vacation when my car started making a sound. Took it here. They kept it two days then told me to bring it back Monday because they hadn’t gotten to it yet. Dropped it off on a Sunday afternoon for Monday service like we agreed. Called every day and was told it’d be done by the end of the day. It’s now Thursday afternoon that they finally call and say it’s done. Paid and get in to drive away and the engine light is on (wasn’t on before) and still making the same sound!! Tech gets in to ride around the parking lot and tries to tell me that’s a different noise. It’s exactly the same. Let’s hope they make this right but I will stick with my trusted locally owned shop from now on and not give this place my business!!

To say Im disappointed would be an understatement. I went in the other day to have a/c repair done and was told the tech was booked for the rest of the week. They then told me to come back on Monday and they should be able to squeeze me in... Cool. So today (Monday) I drop my vehicle off at 8 and am told that there are two vehicles in front of mine, but they could go ahead and get to the oil change and wiper replacement I requested. I explained that I had to get to work and would be back at one. The associate told me he couldnt guarantee the a/c work will have been done, but the service will. He further explained that I should have made an appointment (was not mentioned on my last visit) to lock in my spot. Again, cool... I left my keys and went to work. Got back to the shop around 12:45 and asked for a status update, was told my vehicle was next in line.... After waiting another 30 minutes in the shop, I checked to see if it was just waiting on the a/c repair, but the service was done. I was told that they had not looked at my vehicle at all and it was going in next. At this point I explained that the vehicle had been there for over 5 hours and I was confused as to how even the service hadnt been done yet. He told me that because I was a walk in customer, my vehicle would be pushed farther down the line, as needed, and I just had to wait. He then left the room and only came back in when another customer entered, then immediately left the room again before I could speak to him. Another associate finally showed up and asked if he could help (it was pushing 2:00 and my car still hadnt moved) and I said at this point I just wanted my keys. As he went outside, the other associate said just tell him its not done yet. I got my keys, left, and will never return.Btw... For everyone trying to call the store... Im sorry! The phone was ringing non stop and the associates would just walk by and ignore it.

Out of 500 dollars dealing good with Firestone...i will never go to them again. Took my car to get fixed and still have the same problem poor mechanical knowledge. Beware!!!!

Not sure if I like Firestone and Bridgestone tires but we ha e both now and they have to be better than the cooper tires both cars had previously. Both times we went to Firestone were important to me and they worked us in and were very personable.

My tire blew on the interstate on Memorial Day, as I was driving back from FL to my home in SC. Because it was a holiday, few places were open and those that were open “were accepting booked appointments only”. I only had a donut and without a tire change, there is no way I would have made it the 300mi I had left on my trip. Also, I don’t know anyone around here to stay with or help me. I explained this to one place and they still turned me away because they were too busy. But the workers at this Firestone were so kind over the phone and in person. They worked me in and took care of everything quickly so that I could get home-they were a lifesaver! And because they were so pleasant, it really helped change my bad day around. Would definitely recommend!

Left my car with them thursday afternoon. To get an oil change and new battery. They told me it would be done the next day. On Sunday they didnt even start working on the car. I would not recommend using them for anything.

I called looking for some tires, but they were out of the size I needed, but they did suggest other places to try.That Good Business.

Mavis Tires sent us here because they didn’t have time to repair our tire while we were traveling in the area. Needless to say, these guys didn’t hesitate to say they’d get us taken care of and back on our way. We did have to wait a couple of hours but that’s far better than having to spend the night and wait til the next day which is what we would’ve had to do if they hadn’t been so accommodating! Thanks guys!

I was told I could walk in for an alignment. Well that wasnt true and I took off work early to have it done. Had to make an appointment🙄

I really like the Firestone store because it is where my dad bought me my first bike, but it was another town and another place. At this Firestone store, dont book an appointment on-line, even if you get a confirmation it wont be honored. If you call they will honor it. Everything is professional. Should take 20-40 minutes and the sign said $50. Once they had my car up on the rack and emptied of oil, they tell me they need a filter and it shouldnt be much longer pointing at the car parts store across the intersection. An hour and 43 minutes went by. They ring me up to the tune of $138 - synthetic oil costs a lot more. Had they asked? Nope. Too long and too much for me to come back. Buyer beware.

Its Sunday, 7/26. I am here in St. Simon for vacation. Last night as we were on the way to get dinner, my truck alerted me that I needed air in one of my tires. It was after 8, so I knew everything was closed. So I found a pump to put air in my tire. This morning it needed more air. I googled to see if there was anything opened nearby, and this place was. I could not believe that the manager told me that they were not repairing tires today. Here I am, a single woman traveling alone, and could not believe what I was hearing. Very poor business, and customer service. He referred me to Mavis in Brunswick that was absolutely no better.. It was at least 15 miles away. I went and the lady at the front desk told me they were booked, BUT said if I could take my own tire off, and put the doughnut on myself, leave the tire with them, and they could possibly work it in faster. JUST GREAT!!! I left, and would not refer anyone to either if the businesses.

Staff was extremely friendly. My issue was my battery. My vehicle was there for a day and a half. I felt that they can prioritize the simplicity of the issues and work from that.

Before i came to firestone i went to auto zone. saw a cop driving by with the window down i parked i asked the lady if they put air in tires first she said shell be with me trying to count money i just wanted to know about air in my tires she said no firestone across the street will i said ok i left out looking where at across the street look to the left went all the way up the driveway looking so slow then finally i look right further up the right then i saw it got in my car when i arrived their were two guys inside i asked one about air in my tires he said pull up behind one or two something he called it i pulled behind the first one he came out went to the right side i told him no the left side sorry i took my foot off the brake oh its ok i dont think you would try to run me over i said no never hurt a fly he put air in both tires i said thank you drove off drove to my favorite spot where i can walk and think but it was raining a white guy was already on the park and that blue car was parked right at the trailer but i said to myself i wasnt going to take a picture but i do believe there are hostages if not one and its a business within a business anyway i spoke to the guy use the porter potty got back in my car trying to play trivia but in the midst of the game i started seeing birds white dont know the breed but i recorded it and took a picture before i blacked out woke up my mouth felt dry and painful and the seat moving under my butt i looked at the mirror the same floating eyes in my hair and the passenger door closed a white car was parked by the porter potty and looking then pulled off i went to use the porter potty now im sitting trying to figure out if those silly fools at the apartment used my mouth on the blue car and whoever else about to go walk

These guys literally saved my vacation! I needed a new idler pulley and serpentine belt and they took care of me same day. They even rotated my tires at no cost!

I went to have my oil changed there, It was my first time trying out a different place for services for my car. I had been going to the dealership for my car care, but I ran across a coupon for a oil change, and decided to give them a try. So far, I havent had any problems. It took 45 mins and I was out the door. You are better off making an appt first. The customer service was nice, and courteous. I would surely go back again. It actually saved me $30. And that I loved. I highly recommend them, but do call for that appt, are you may not get same day service, they are quite busy.

Unfortunately for me I had a flat tire on a Sunday morning (6/28) in Brunswick, GA. The vehicle I was driving was an Enterprise Rental. Enterprise informed me there was not a spare tire in vehicle so I had to go to the Firestone in Brunswick. The station was busy with scheduled appointments which meant the man who arrived just before me who had a screw in his tire and myself, we would wait indefinitely. Enterprise attempted to communicate with Warren who was in charge, but did not get any satisfaction. There was not any since of urgency for either of our tire needs. The older gentleman before me had a grand-daughter waiting for him 60 miles away and I had another 3 1/2 hour drive ahead of me and one of my passengers traveling with me was vomiting from the heat. After almost 6 hours waiting, they put the gentlemans car in a bay then put my car behind his. A 15 to 30 minute tire change was extended. Then Warren advised that he had to do an oil change to the rental car per Enterprise. I first agreed thinking surely this could not take much longer. Once I contacted Enterprise and was told I did not have to have the oil change, I told Warren I wanted to leave. They then removed the jack from the car and told me to leave. I managed to leave before the older gentleman. So sorry for him. The car did get me to my destination that evening (6 hour travel time ended in 12 plus hours). Because the car pulled to the right and had a vibration I contacted Enterprise again and took the car to a PepBoys who said that the pull to the right would be because one new tire on front and the vibration was that the torch on the changed wheel was loose. During the wait in Brunswick I called the Firestone Customer service who told me that Douglas C. (Area Supervisor) would be intouch with me. That was Sunday 6/28, and today 7/3 I still have not been contacted by Douglas or any Firestone Admin.With that experience, I would NOT recommend this Firestone Station.

I’m really not making this up....I made an appointment online for 11am Sunday morning, June 28, 2020. I was told in the past, make sure you make an appointment. I made the appointment online and showed up at 11am. The guy said we have 16 tires ahead of you. I said,” I made an appointment.” He said when did you make it? I said early this morning. He said,” We don’t take same day appointments!” I laughed and figured I was on candid camera. He was serious. I have since gave my business to Bill Duckworth and Mavis Tires. I will never set foot in this Firestone ever again!!

Terribly slow service, employees taking more breaks than working

My son, his wife, his mother-in-law and his two children (2 and 3 years old) were traveling and had a flat tire. They were able to air it up enough to get it to this Firestone but could hear it leaking out. My son was told there was nothing they could do. This was on a Saturday at noon. I own a repair shop and understand being busy but when a family is broken down you do what needs to be done. Absolutely no empathy and they were rude to boot. I see another review with the same situation. Absolutely ridiculous.

Had friendly service and was in and out faster than I thought.

I just have to leave this review to thank William for his honesty and genuine concern. After receiving some unbelievable feedback from the neighborhood Jeep dealership. I was told that all 20 of my lug nuts were swollen and a tire rotation couldn’t be done without breaking my lug nuts and it costs $10 per lug nut to replace. I came here for a second opinion. William assured me that I had no reason to worry after checking my lug nuts and told me everything was perfectly fine. He suggested that I wait until my next oil change to have my tires rotated because my tire treading was also fine. Kudos to you William for being a stand up guy with integrity, you are a true asset to this establishment!

They did such a great job helping my dad with a flat tire, I decided to get my new tires there. I was happy with everything, except they forgot to put caps on two valve stems. Small oversight.

I am from out of town, and the breaks on my car broke right as we were expecting Hurricane Dorian to hit. The folks at this Firestone worked hard to repair my car before the hurricane so that I was able to safely leave when the county issued a mandatory evacuation.Excellent customer service and reliability. I would recommend them to anyone.

Always too busy, wanted to leave auto for next day

Was driving to Charleston when I got a punctured tire. Got to the shop and they were closing. Only shop around that still had lights on and they were gracious enough to helped me out and stayed open and got a new tire on after hours so that I could be on my way.

We were traveling from North Carolina to Florida and got a nail in our tire the representative told us that it would to take no more than 2 hours to get us back on the road we waited 2 hours and I came in to check on the tire and they said would be another hour and half so that would almost put us at four hours waiting and still no one was able to help us.. called discount tire and they helped us right away

I use to think they were an honest and fair place for a woman to get service. After the last visit I find that they mark things off their check list as ok and they havent even looked or theyd have seen that they were not!

Horrible Establishment!!!! I specifically ask for my car to be put out into the parking lot before they close so it’s not in the garage and when i arrive at the location my vehicle is stuck in the garage!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! THEY ARE A RIPOFF!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

A great place that tries to help customers as much as possible. With just one tech and one manager they took me in even though it meant they had to work extra . These guys here deserve a lot of credit and are incredibly friendly. They often get busy to sometimes you can expect a wait, however. They handle their business properly.

We brought our truck in to have an alignment done at 6:00pm they said it would be finished first thing in the morning. We came in at 10:00am the next day and Firestone said it was not done. I asked why they said it would be done first thing in the morning and they didnt even work on it. The manager had nothing but excuses. As far as me and family and are company vehicles will no longer use Firestone. Very rude and disrespectful customer service!!!!

Worst service I have ever received! My car broke down so I got it towed there, they said they would call me when they look at it i waited 2 days never received a phone call I had to call them to finally hear something, and after trying to call three separate times they answer and they then tell me that they can’t figure it out because it is a VW you have to take it to a special shop why couldn’t they tell me before I got it dropped off to them, instead they waste my time and money for them to not be able to tell me what’s wrong with it. And when I was there the guy would let the phone ring constantly while people were there and he was on his personal phone with his “baby” as I read that off the phone.Very upset about this service all around I wouldn’t recommend my enemies to go there just freaking ridiculous!

Dint have good experience the first time I went here long story but this guy William I believe this past few times is like night and day very helpful and knowledgeable and informative! Bought a battery came back a few months later buy another he was like hold on dont buy one you have warranty I explained I needed another but he was making sure I didnt spend a dollar that was not called for. FF 18months problem with battery brought it back and in and out in 5 mind with new battery and helped with another issue Highly recommended if your car has a problem give these guys a chance you wont be disappointed!

I had to bring my youngest son with me to have Firestone replace my back tires without an appointment. They where amazing not only did they have a little kids table but they also had a toy container too! We where there for a little over a hour and I will highly recommend them to any of my friends whom are having car trouble!

The other day I was driving from South Carolina to Florida when my tire blew out two gentlemen, one named William were so kind and courteous and actually stayed open for me an extra two hours to help me fix my tire and assure that got home safely! I would recommend to anyone this firestone if you’re having any car trouble!

This place doesnt check there work when they are done. had a tune up done and other things we also done how do you not check with what goes with it coolent = water pump.... come on its not rocket science to do a check afterwards!!!

A couple weeks ago I came in for an oil change w/o an appointment, Anthony let me know they were booked full that day but that I could set an appointment online !Today was the day of said appointment. I got a tire rotation along with an oil change . Scott greeted me when I came in and took my car into the garage . He said it would be a 45 minute wait.Both him and Anthony are incredibly nice people ! I have never felt more comfortable going to a mechanic to get repairs done on my car.Anthony called me over when my car was finished & showed me the courtesy checks they had done. I shook his hand and he told me to take care . Excellent service ! The only place I want to take my car to now :)--Edit: I forgot to add that the oil change was very cheap ! And that they also included a coupon to save money on the synthetic oil we picked out.

They stole my car, brought it in early morning said it would be done in an hour. Haven’t answered the phone all day and now it looks like I’m not getting my car back tonight. Don’t go here if you have anything important planned in the next 24 hours.

The mechanic that change oil in my diesel did not know where oil filter was and l told him he also did not drain all the old oil out before putting the 12 quarts in so when l got home had to drain one quart out

Its like the shop my family grew up taking our cars to. Up front Becky and Anthony are very accommodating. They even check Firestones existing coupons to see if anything can be applied to my visit that day. Drew and the rest of the crew in back are happy to explain what the did and why they did it.

Horrible experience! I went in with a flat tire as soon as they opened. Told them to fix/replace the tire and check alignment. They called around closing time and said everything is ready I can come pick it up. I was in a rush to go on a trip so I just went home, which is very close, to park it and leave town in another vehicle.I came back from my trip and go to run a few errands because I will be leaving on another trip the next day and realized it wasnt driving right. I took it back and they found that the lower trailing arm was bent. SO HOW DID YOU NOT FIND THIS WHEN YOU DID THE ALIGNMENT AND WHEN YOU REPLACED THE TIRE!? Thats when I found out they never checked the alignment. So I had to find another vehicle to go on my trip to the mountains although the guy at firestone said it was perfectly safe to take even with it pulling hard to the left and rough.

We was traveling and our car ended up needing servicing we stopped in Brunswick GA, brought it to this location for a diagnostics. Upon successful diagnostics we were able to get a tow afterwards and book a hotel stay until our ride came the next day. Whole staff was very professional and nice.

Had appointment to get an oil change this morning. Walk into the business and after the gentleman greet me with a kind good morning, he took my infomation. A very pleasant and mannerable gentleman. The mechanic complete my oil change in no time, left my SUV free of oil spot on the hood. Would recommend Firestone to any one needing car service.

Was on my way to Tampa when my car suddenly had issues. Firestone has a very friendly staff that kept me abreast of the progress and took time to explain the repairs performed in detail. Top service! Recommended, especially for those needing work from out of town!

I had a really great experience here! My car was long overdue for some TLC and I came here 2x during the summer to replace tires/battery/freon. Kester was great, pointing out potential trouble spots and being really upfront about cost to manage expectations. Cost was affordable, and when he pulled up a quote for my battery, he mentioned that he thought it was a bit high and searched for the same product at another supplier and got me a better rate. He also told me that it wasnt absolutely necessary that I replace my tires, that I could probably wait a couple more months if I wanted; I decided to go ahead and change them anyway, but I really appreciated that Kester was honest and didnt exaggerate the problem to pressure me into buying new tires. I never felt like the guys here were taking advantage of my lack of general knowledge about cars. Everything was transparent. They were all really nice and fit me into their busy Saturday schedule. Theyre awesome!! Id definitely go to them again if Im back in the area.

I recently made an appointment for a standard oil change,I made my appointment online an I stated that i had a coupon for a standard oil change for 24.99. When i arrived i asked the technician if he needed the coupon, he said no that it was already added to my profile. once it was finished my bill was 57.65 with no explanation. I will not be going back, first and last time.

I called ahead and was told to bring it in and they could get me in. They said an hour and a half for tire rotation one tire balance and oil change. I have been here for four hours and see everyone just bunched together talking and walking back and forth. No work being done on vehicles hardly. I do not recommend this place unless you can drop off and come back.now Im updating 5 hours and finally

It was late Saturday afternoon, closing time was less than a half hour. My trip from Florida to Wisconsin was interrupted by a tire blowout. I walked in, told the guy my situation and he said, Lets see what we can do, what size. I told him and he told me he had one and I could be out the door for $129. It was all I could do to not scream with joy. Sure enough, they were done in 45 minutes. The real test of customer service was yet to come. I have a Dodge MiniVan. The spare is very difficult to get to get out and even more difficult to put back in. They did it without even asking. All I can say is, if you need tires near Brunswick, GA, go to these guys, youll be glad you did.

Asked for 3 services: oil change, tire rotation, and brake flush. I think the tires were rotated. The brake flush was done, but not correctly causing a fluid leak on the driver’s front which could have lead to brake failure, I’m told, and caused considerable inconvenience, expense, and delay in West Virginia, but we stopped when our warning light came on, so what could have been a serious situation was just a several hour delay out in the middle of nowhere. And they couldn’t get the oil plug loosened at all so we ended up driving to Savannah to the dealer for the oil change—the mechanic at the dealership loosened the plug with his pliers.. It was a little tight. When I reviewed the visit on the website, they asked if I wanted them to call to discuss—I said I did—and it’s well beyond the time they said they would be calling.

I changed my rating today. Heres why, Ive been coming here for years . But my sister brought her suv in here and they kept it overnight but didnt bother to lock the car . Her car was broken into and all her belongings were taken. She was told it wasnt there problem and to contact the manager on Monday. She was also told it sounds like the things that were stolen didnt carry much value. That doesnt matter if It was only $1 stolen they were responsible for her car. To top off they didnt fix her wheel either. Not sure of the owner reads these but you should look into your employees professionalism. The 3 cars I bring you for work wont be back..
