I was on vacation and needed a quick fix. Tom was really great and even though they typically work on German models, he was really cool about fitting me in and getting me on my way. Nice and clean facility as well. Props to the team and Tom for being so understanding!

Came here for both maintenance and performance upgrades to the tune of a new clutch/flywheel as well as engine mounts and a short shifter.Whether you are going here for maintenance or to make your car more fun you will find the people are willing to work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. They will not charge you for anything you dont need or perform unnecessary services. Very trustworthy. The work was very well done and polished. Everything was done right the first time. These people love what they do and it shows. The one and only con is the lack of loaner vehicles, but even that they said theyre working on.

Dropped off the 128i for new headers on the N52 and they did it all that day. Really pleased with the work and gave me a quote for another fix that was $500 lower than the quote from the dealer.It was a great experience overall and Ill be back soon for other repairs.

I recently took my Audi RS7 here to get the turbo oil screen issue addressed (well known problem on these cars), and to finally get a tune on it. It was a 2 hour drive, but very well worth it. Scott and Tom took the time to answer my questions, and it was clear they knew what they were talking about and doing. Top notch group of guys. The car runs perfect, and probably goes without saying, is totally transformed because of the tune! Im sure Ill be back for future servicing or mods!

We are amidst of moving from Little Rock AR to Virginia. While waiting to close on our house in VA, we are staying at our vacation house in Bradenton FL. The 1000 mile trip to FL exacerbated lower control arm ball joint issues, and wiped out our the entire front end structure of the car. Such an awesome experience with Panzer! I recently took my SQ5 to others in the overall area for some aftermarket work...and was met with “no”, “I wouldn’t do that”, “it’s too difficult”, etc... I called Panzer, set an appt for 5 days later and was in/out under 2 hours. While there, I chatted with the owner, employees, and had an overall great time as you’re welcomed like family or a friend as opposed to a walking dollar bill... Highly, highly recommend Panzer! I will not be going to anyone else for any of my vehicles...EVER!

The owner Tom is a wealth of knowledge backed by his decades of experience with working on German vehicles. Ever since my first visit to Panzer Tom has always led me to the right course of action in regards to tackling my vehicles modifications and services. I almost need to count on two hands the amount of times I had suggested mods that I thought I wanted/needed to enhance my cars performance that Tom had deemed unessacary for the stages of upgrading I wanted (in other words the cars factory components were completely competent in handling...) Tom is clearly not in business not to just make a buck he wants to provide the best services & modifications for each and every vehicle that enters his shop. I am not one to write a review but felt they deserved this one. First and foremost they know their stuff and offer great rates. Secondly they are very friendly and personable. Lastly they go above and beyond for that customer.They made me feel like I had been a longtime customer and it was my first appointment. Even though it is 40 mins away I will exclusively take my car here going forward. If your reading this take your car here you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend Panzer Performance. Tom is an incredibly knowledgeable technician. Scott does a fantastic job managing communication. Everyone I have had contact with on their team has been helpful and considerate. Each time they have had my car, they have exceeded my expectations in the care taken in making sure my car is safe and performing at its best. When my car was significantly leaking water into the interior during a day of all day heavy rain, they had me bring it in immediately to the shop and got it out of the rain right away to prevent further water intrusion. During the repair process, the headliner needed to be reattached and they took car of everything, including taking it to the headliner shop for repairs, saving me from bouncing from place to place. Service is done using the most economical parts configuration and at a fair price. I love that they can substitute a Porsche part at a lower price than a VW part (go figure) and save me hundreds of dollars! My only regret is that I didnt have these guys working on my car sooner. They are clearly German automotive experts and will be servicing my Touareg for me “until the wheels fall off of it,” which will not happen now because Tom will figure out a way to fix it, lol!

I brought my 2013 GTI in last Friday to have a modification done to its APR Stage 1 upgrade and cant say enough good things about Panzer Performance. I was in and out in less than an hour and the cars performance is nothing short of breathtaking! Tom and Scott are both very knowledgeable and their mechanics are top notch. Im in the automobile industry and can highly recommend Panzer performance!

Took in my A5 for low oil pressure. After some back and forth about options and cost we went with an oil pump which they were sure would not be a long term solution. The warning light and alarm went away.. for 3 days, as they indicated would probably happen. The day after the repair a major oil leak developed. I sent a picture, they sent a flat bed. They did not cry about cost or try to make it my problem, they owned it and fixed it. Then had the car detailed to make up for the mistake. Cost for the work was reasonable for a German car. If you think a good car mechanic is expensive try a cheaper one and see what that gets you. Ill be back.

Great group of people here who have a quality shop that I can’t say enough good things about. They are fair, explain all work done and go in depth on any questions pertaining to day to day maintenance or performance part upgrades. I am originally from Philadelphia and had a performance shop up there that I absolutely loved and five years ago when I moved down here I could not find one I trusted and felt did good work. Panzer Performance has since replaced that missing link in my life when it comes to the Das Auto. I highly recommend you give you them a try, you will not be disappointed. I brought my 2013 VW CC to Panzer for a second opinion as I was not happy with the service or advice from Bob Boast VW. They had a different view and provided a better explanation. They professionally completed the work and gave me information on maintenance and what to expect in the future for work that might happen. This is my third time at this repair shop, all for different issues and very happy with the care and respect they had towards my car and myself. This is a performance shop with experience in racing but has a strong knowledge of German engineering. They dont try to upsell, and pricing is reasonable. If you have a German car in need of an honest mechanic, I recommend speaking with them.

There is no substitute for the quality of Tom and his magicians on all of the work they do. Panzer Performamce is everything all the others simply don’t measure up too. The only place Id recommend when it comes to servicing a European car. The owner knows his stuff! Saved my car more than a few times and never pushed for unneeded repairs, which is rare these days. Hands down the best Volkswagen service youll find in the area.

Excellent experience at Pazer Performance. They are honest, diligent and enthusiastic about helping their customers. I purchased a car to turn into a full-time track/race car. The team at Panzer jumped in feet first and provided me with advice on safety and performance modifications. They did excellent work on the car, and I couldnt be happier with their service. Tom (owner) and Scott communicated constantly, even including pictures and videos on the cars progress. If you are interested in perforance driving, these guys will point you in the right direction becuase they are racing enthusists themselves (and not the teenage kind that just want to show off for friends). Panzer performance built my e36 328 to be a car that will be occasionally driven around town but can also do some high performance driving events at local tracks. After tracking it at Sebring this past weekend I can say they nailed it.The st xta coil overs are awesome, I can turn them down for the street and get a firm but not harsh at all ride but tighten them up for the track where they provide great control. The condor bushings and hawk pads round out the car making it a package. Tom lives for this stuff and it shows in his work.

Awesome service. Tom knows his stuff. He knows VWs/Audis and BMWs inside and out. I am VERY picky about my cars when it comes to who works on them since I generally do MOST of my maintenance myself. I therefore know my car exceedingly well, so when it comes time to have someone else work on it, I need a) someone I can trust and b) a mechanic that KNOWS what he is talking about. Tom at Panzer has done a bunch of work for me and some of my friends. Some of my cars are a bit exotic (serious mods Id never want a dealer to confront) but Tom is on top of all this sort of stuff as well since he maintains a number of race cars. In summary; years of experience working for a dealer, a dad that has worked on VWs since the early 60s (i.e. he grew up around his trade!) and ongoing knowledge gleaned from pushing cars to their limits all adds up to the kind of mechanic I want under the hood of my car.
