I’ve been coming here for over a year now. Sam and the rest of the crew are extremely knowledgeable about their work and always take care of my car’s need. The first job they ever did for me was a motor swap and they did it at a reasonable price with excellent installation. Since then I have gotten oil changes, brake replacements, and many other services here at Isaacs and it’s safe to say I’ve never left disappointed. They are all very charismatic and caring for every customer. I went there today and met Sam who I believe is the owner. He seemed very nice and understanding about the issues Im having with my vehicle. The following is a customer review of dated 05/03/2021Issacs Discount Auto Repar:Following a dismal visit to a prominent Bradenton dealership to have my brakes repaired, I returned home, with a $2200 quote in hand, and no repairs done. I barely had brakes! Thats when I thought of Isaacs Discount Auto Repair. Now, Ive known Isaac for a long time as a neighbor and friend, and hes offered his services to me on occasion, but my old cars been running along fine. So, now I finally needed Isaacs service. He scheduled my appointment for the next day and provided me with a professional quote, based on what he believed to be the problem. Wow! It was just a fraction of what the dealership was quoting me. He explained that the dealerships were more likely to replace parts that maybe only needed a seal, and mark parts and labor way up. So lesson learned. I took my car in the next day around noon. Isaac gave me a tour of his repair shop (nice place) and said my car would be ready the next day. He was also kind enough to drive me home as It was lunchtime, and were just a few houses apart ( I dont expect it is Isaacs practice to drive everybody home like that - just good timing, and much appreciated). I got a call the next morning, saying my car was ready for pick-up. Brakes worked great again, and my bill remained the same as quoted, at just a fraction what the big-name dealership wanted. No question, Ill be taking my car to Isaacs Discount Auto Repair first, from now on. Thanks again to Isaac and also to his mechanics Tony, Jamal and Sam. Very professional. Friendly, very helpful, but when they replaced my alternator they didnt push the fusebox back into place correctly and so my headlights and horn didnt work. Didnt find that out until dark...They took care of the issue the next, but it caused a lot of pain in meantime, we were at a restaurant 20 min from home 😳

I HIGHLY recommend Isaacs! Very professional, honest and very knowledgeable staff. I went in for an oil change, they did it in a very timely and professional manner. Few weeks later had a overheating issue and took it in for a check. They recommended a new fan assembly and said they could install or i can do it myself. Chose to do it myself but I will Definitely be back in the future for more services when needed.

Isaacs is the first place I would go to when I have a problem with my car. I drive a 2016 Acura Tlx and there is nothing on that car that they can’t fix. They installed my bumper, new tires, alignment, etc. Everything they do is really good! Also the guy at the front desk, I think his name is Sam. He does a really good job and helped me out a lot! I really recommend this place!!!! They do a spectacular job!!! They have the best prices in town, really reasonable and reliable!

Being new to Florida, I had a hard time finding an honest mechanic shop. I am happy to call Isaac’s Auto Repair my new mechanic shop. They are honest and do an excellent job! Car wouldnt start to save my life (2010 Ford Escape) tried every trick in the book and couldnt figure it out, when i found out the starter was housed deep in the back of the engine i realied i didnt want to mess with it.at 21 years old and on a tight budget, i flat towed the car to issacs and talked to Issacs son, who took excellent care of me and made sure the repair was done within a few hours, AND got everything done a bit cheaper than I expected.Spent $320, quoted $350, next cheapest place was $300 before labor. Had the car towed from one shop to there shop. Not only did they fix the problem they were nice, kind and believe it or not? FUN made my crappy day much better and not once slammed the other mechanic for not getting it fixed. I was told it needed a new key or a computer turns out it was a fuel pump and a plugged up fuel line. I highly recommend you stop in, i think you will be presently surprised. .

Brought vehicle in for a blown radiator and a pulley. Was brought in about 1030 in the morning and it was done by 2:30 in the afternoon. Great Mechanics, customer service.Prices are very fair. Sam in the office took great care of me after service was done. I highly recommend isaacs.

Cheapest cigarettes in town. 4 gas pumps. Teeny tiny parking lot. There is a garage there. They have a good selection if food/drinks inside-gas station snax. There is a good selection of beer. The people are nice. Its owned by foreigners.

I just got finished dealing with this place and I just have to say that the idea that theyll fleece you if your a female, is hogwash! I myself, am an attractive female, who doesnt know alot about cars, but I knew about ballpark what my labor should have cost me. (My bf is a mechanic by profession, but lives a thousand miles from me.) I had my own parts ready for my car and just needed someone to install them. So, I started making calls and these guys were the ONLY shop out of the many that I called that gave me a FAIR AND HONEST quote, so I went with them. They had my car ready to pick up within about 2 hours and billed me no more than they should have...in fact, they charged me a little less than what I initially expected to pay. They were pleasant to work with and I was so happy with the work that I now intend to take all my work to them from now on. Thanks guys!

This place touts 36 years of service based on trust and honesty, but are far from it! I took my grandson in for rear brake work, the price was going to be $72 but then they found a brake line leak and I was quoted $ 260 and maybe less depending on the cost of the line for all the work. I specifically asked Sam, the owners son if the $260 included the $72 for the rear brake repair and he said yes it includes all the work. he lied, so much for honesty and standing behind your word! My grandson went back and they hit him up for $363 and denied that they quoted that lower price, so we had to pay the higher price, Then there was fluid on the wheel coming from the rear main seal & Sam told me to have my grandson pick some up and bring it to him and he would put it in at no cost, again I specifically asked him how he would charge to put it on the lift and put the fluid in and he said absolutely there would be no charge. Lied again, because my grandson went back there today with the fluid and again Sam says he never said that and he would do it for $25. Too bad because I thought I had found an honest repair shop for my grandsons car, my sons 2 vehicles & our 2 vehicles, 5 total. this company will never get any more of our work, they lie, dont stand behind their price quotes, overcharge and try to deceive people by touting how trustworthy and honest they are, which theyre not! Save yourself grief, go somewhere else!!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Isaacs. I had my brakes inspected by another local business and they said all four needed replaced along with rotors on the front and turned on the back for about $850.00 plus tax. I was convinced I needed new braks and went to Issacs to compare prices for the repairs. They inspected the brakes and said they had about 50% life left and would not recommend any work at this time. They certainly could have used the work but chose to be honest, a are find these days it seems, and charged me nothing. I will definitely go there for any future needs and would recommend them to all and hope they treat everyone as they did me (honestly)!

They are thieves and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FEMALE!!!!!!!!! I was recommended by a friend and I guess when they saw a woman, they saw dumb. Well they got the wrong woman. I was told that they would hook up a machine to see what was wrong with my car and when I was looking I never saw the machine instead a guy under my car. Then I was told what the problem was and given an estimate of $1,400, which I obviously didnt believe so I left. I went to another repair shop that another friend told me about and they actually took the time and used the machine to diagnose the problem which they didnt even charge me for to begin with and when all was said an done the problem WAS NOT what Issacs said it was. So at the end of the day what would have cost me $1,400 or more at Issacs (which was not even the problem they claimed so I was going to get ripped off) actually cost me less than $340 with parts, labor and taxes and that is a hell of ALOT LESS. I eventually have spoken to people that have been to their shop and have heard the same thing, THEY ARE RIPOFFS, THEY OVER CHARGE WITHOUT EVEN TAKING THE TIME AND DIAGNOSING THE CORRECT PROBLEM!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went back four times to get my A/C repaired. I paid over $1,000.00 and they told me I needed a new compressor from the start which was not true. The A/C isnt still working. If you are a automotive repair business in Florida and cant fix an air conditioner its time to get out of business. STAY AWAY!!!
