My personal experience with JD by rider. It’s not good. Their customer service could be lots better. The way they handle cars could be lots better. The way they treat their customers could be lots better. I will never go to them again. Our car cost us way too much. What in the world were we thinking. I heard a couple stories. I regret not listening. The only way for me to write a review was to put one star. I honestly don’t feel like they deserve one star. I honestly don’t know how they sleep at night! JD by rider you do not deserve a gold star in a cookie.

I can say I wont buy another vehicle from them. I have called many times with issues of the air bag light and recently with the abs light coming on for periods of time and the passenger side power window not working but I get told someone will call me back but so far no call back but they have no problem with taking my monthly payment I wont buy from them again

Manager and other sales representative was very rude and did not seem to care about my business. A lot of people buying their cars with stimulus checks so I guess they can be careless with their customers right now. I would not recommend.

My experience with Eric and Andy are great. No argument there. They are great, but if I wouldve stayed. Their payment options wouldve made go broke. I went to another dealership and bought a car thats in the same or similar price range and the payments are once a month including cheaper. I dont have to worry about going broke each month. Andy and Eric are down to earth. Good people to work with, but I had to move forward and leave the scene before i made the mistake of buying out of desperation. It was mostly about the weekly payments that turned me away. I have been through that situation before with another car dealer and it made go broke as well. The payment amount that youve requested was too much even when it was broken down into 2 pay periods. Then eventually get on a single payment would still make me go broke. I bought a new car with low payments in a single month. Knowing that from one of your competitors made my financial situation easier.

Do not buy from them. Only had my car since February and nothing but problems. Never missed a payment but they are rude and dont want to help. Now my car is broke down.

Things happened and my car was repossessed. When I went to collect my belongings out of the car my necklace that was hanging from my rearview mirror with grandmas ashes in it was gone along with a pair of jordans in the box that were in the back seat of the car were stolen from someone at their company and now they are trying to lie about it. They were there when car was picked up which was locked and now they are gone. The necklace and shoes were the only things I was worried about and they were both gone. POS place.

Owned by Bob Brady they sell cars he cant take a hit on. Most are unreliable. They get you on the looks but the vehicles are junk. I made the mistake of buying one and a week later it broke down. I have had it in the shop 3 times this year. I do not suggest purchasing a vehicle from here. They are wolves in sheeps clothing. Please save yourself the stress. Youll thank me later.

Purchased a SUV here motnhs ago. It is a very reliable vehicle. We have even driven it to Florida and back and did not have to worry about being stranded during our trip. I have lost a few pieces of my paperwork and have had to call about my account as well and Tashunda is wonderful. She is extremely helpful and saying she is nice is an understatement. She is knowledgeable and has a quick follow up. Tashunda is the best part of this business.

This is happening now. I am 6 days late with my payment. I am a essential worker and I have been injured. I have been off of work for a month and have exhausted any income I had left. My husband was just laid off. I asked for a 1 payment deferral and my caseworker who is this rude, uncaring, don’t give a hoot about anyone told me I should borrow. When I told her all my family was dead and there was no one to help me I was met with more of a whatever. Make your payment. Plus I have bought one vehicle off of them previously from Decatur and had no problems at all. Think Linda needs retrained to be more helpful and empathetic. NEVER AGAIN!!! I will walk first and ANYONE I heard wanting to go I will definitely tell them of my experience with these rude people. I gave it one star cause I couldn’t go lower. This place deserves no stars

Just bought a car from them and was very nervous and sceptical about buying one but Dusty and Brandon made everything so easy and I am thrilled with my purchase. Ive had my car for 3 months and its been to the shop twice!! Within 2 weeks the radiator, thermostat, transmission, breaks, struts/shocks and headlights all need replacing or work done. They covered the radiator and struts and said I have to pay for everything else.....not a good place to get a good car. If you want a lemon they would be the place to go!!!!!!

Me and my fiancee purchased a car about a month ago and it have not driven nowhere except to work and home and the car has been a Wreck!!! Brakes, Gas leaks, tires, oil change, rotors, the seat doesnt stay on track(not safe hypothetically speaking if It was a accident to occur) had a blowout on a tire that shouldve been changed before sold Moral of the story is nobody looks for a vehicle thats not reliable. we have not had a Great experience been at peace as customers not satisfied and do not recommend looks could be deceiving!!!! #Neveragain #payingnotesandhavingproblems

My son purchased a car from this place .They set him up for failure right at the start. Payments r to high for a 19 yr old . Hes had the car for 8 months and for the last month its hit and miss for it to start. Hes had to now have it towed to a shop to get it fixed was told it has to come out of his pocket its not under warranty. WOW!! Hes looking at his car payment of almost $600 a month and now repair of possible over $500 to $1,000. I will not refer any one to this place i have nothing good to say about them. Oh they wont listen even if u try to speak to them. Closed ears , no heart, money grubbing ppl You should be ashamed of your selves . Hes trying to get things ready he leaves n January to go n 2 National Gaurd. He dont need this extra stress b4 he leaves.

Sold a car worth $2,000 for over $13,000. Ill pay $20,000 before its paid off at almost $400 a month. Best part, the car is junk and has had problems since day one. Found out, whoever installed the breaks when I got it, messed everything up. They wont let me trade for something reliable so Im screwed. And you have to have full coverage and where I live, they dont offer affordable full coverage on cars older than 2004. And some dont offer it for older cars period. But jd byrider will provide it for a huge $500 extra a month. Who can afford $800 a month?! And I cant drive it in my state because it wont pass admissions due to all the issues it has. So Im paying all this on a car I cant even drive. Never go here!!!!!! Ever!!! Seriously.

Staff only gave us one key to the vehicle. We had to put new brakes on the car soon after purchase. I asked how long the loan was for and I was advised around 3 years, however, at the rate of the payments, it will take nearly 7 years to pay off the car.

Absolutely horrible.Do not be one day late on your payment. There will be a repo. Then if you are unfortunate enough to have to deal with linda she will scream at you. I was ripped off bad. Charged 15000 for an 11 year old car. Stay as far from this rip off company as you can. What makes it worse is i did not have bad cresit until messing with them. Completely unethical.

I wish I didnt have to write a bad review to get the key I should have already had when I got the car, but thanks Brandon!I absolutely love the car I got but the staff needs a lot of work. I told Dusty what time I would be there so as a customer I expected to be his priority. Although he was very sweet, he then had 2 more different sets of customers come in, he was trying to work with all of us at the same time. Although I could tell he was trying to make time for everyone, we spent an excessive amount of time there that couldve been resolved by someone else taking those customers there were 2 other salesmen there that seemed to be doing nothing. Then when it was finally time to sign papers, Shawn, who Im not sure if he is their general manager or just their finance person or both, was extremely rude. Making rude comments and jokes that he thought were funny to the point where I was just signing papers I didnt even get to read because of how uncomfortable he was making me. Although I spent all day there and had a bad experience I went home with a car I absolutely love even though the price is ridiculous and the interest rate is even more ridiculous, I also know thats what I was signing up for considering I have no credit. I took the time to really look over the car which I encourage everyone to do, I had a few issues I wanted fixed, which they did do for me. My biggest issue with the car is that they didnt have any type of key fob for it, all they gave me was an emergency key and now Im having so many issues trying to find the right key without paying like $300 at a dealership. I wish they wouldve just had that done from the beginning like any dealership should have and it wouldve changed my review on them much more. Its a buy here pay here so you cant expect much. This experience here made me so grateful that I work at a dealership that will always put the customer first, I guess thats why I was so appalled on the way they treated us. I would never in a million years make a customer uncomfortable like that, the jokes and comments werent funny and I wouldve thought you would stop considering you didnt see my boyfriend or I laughing. I had all plans of reading every detail of what I was signing but I just wanted out of that office and out of that dealership. Even though its annoying to get in my car with a little emergency key, I still love it. Just be cautious.

My car gave out on me and I was desparate to get a new one fast. I talked to Dusty after being hesitant of coming in because I had heard bad things about the company. I had to get over that and see if it was as bad as people said. They treated me and my boyfriend very nice and they helped me to get the car that Ive always wanted. I was low on cash and they helped me do what I needed with what I have. The interest rate on the car is higher than Id like but I plan on putting more down with payments to be done quicker. At the end of the day I am happy with my choice!

Jd byrider is a fantastic dealership. I first went to jd byrider in November of 2018. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to be financed at that time. Eric Simmons encouraged me to come back in a few months and was just as helpful after I was declined as he was before. It didnt feel like all he cared about was getting me into a vehicle. He took the time over the past few months to work with me and figure out the best opportunity to find the best car for me. The day finally came yesterday and Im very satisfied. The finance manager took his time walking me through my contract, even after closing time. Im a very happy customer and would recommend jd by rider to anyone. Went to jd byrider to get a ford Focus that i later found out had a salvage title and thay are charging me 8 thoustand for it which is way overpriced its more like $1,000 car and thay do not work with me on the payments thay came to my place to repro my car without me knowing about it which was wrong init self for doing that thay just care about the money and not working it out with you

NEVER get a car from J.D. Byrider. I dont care how bad your credit is. You pay for a warranty that wont fix anything that goes wrong with your car. Very inconsiderate place to get a car/loan through. Their best interest is not the customer. They only care about the money they collect (CNAC).

BUYER BEWARE!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE EVEN AS A LAST RESORT! J.D. Byrider has provided the worst experience I have ever had in my life! First of all, we had many issues with the vehicle during the time we had it. The vehicle was sold with a smashed fender. I spend thousands of dollars on this vehicle installing and painting a new fender, new tires, new wheels, new aftermarket Xenon headlights, Xenon fog lights, tinted all windows, installed new aftermarket tail lights, installed a touch screen head unit, back up camera, plugs & wires, custom lighting inside the vehicle, new floor mats, new rear bumper, etc. Due to my field of work, we needed to get a vehicle that could tow with, so we bought an SUV. Being we already paid about $13,000 toward the balance of a car that was worth about $5,000 at most when we purchased it, I figured they would be able work with us. I contacted JD Byrider to see what the payoff balance would be and it was over $6,000 still. They also informed us that the payoff balance increases by $5 each day!!We took the vehicle in, as we would not be able to make two car payments. We took extremely good care of this vehicle and it was in 1000% better shape than when we got it. We were informed we had 21 days to change our mind or try to sell it ourselves. Otherwise, they would sell the car and take the selling price off the balance. We then received a letter stating they sold the vehicle and that we still owe $4,800.NOW WE ARE BEING STALKED AND HARASSED BY SOMEONE CLAIMING TO BE A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR CLAIMING TO BE ACTING ON BEHALF OF JD BYRIDER/MARKETVIEW FINANCE. I AM IN DISBELIEF AT THE MEASURES THIS COMPANY TAKES TO ENSURE THEY DECIEVE AND SCAM EVERYONE THEY CAN TO THE FULLEST EXTENT FOR BIGGEST PROFITS. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Not only are the prices insane for the cars with such high miles they will not negotiate price with you. I went in because I liked one of the cars in the lot... only to learn that it had over 100,000 miles and was 15,000 or 16,000. The sales people were nice but I was not desperate for a car when I stopped either... I was looking for my teen daughter. Anyway long story short I left with no car, and went the next day to O’brian Kia that was the best decision ever! I ended up getting a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with only 30,000 miles and I gave my older 2005 to my daughter. I am just saying look at your options first. If you go to Kia talk with Allison and tell her Nichole sent you.

Dont get a car from them they will rip you off. I have had my car for about a year an a half and I looked it up on Kelly blue book its only worth $3,000 and I still have $10.000 to pay on it. They charged $7,000 extra on top of cost of car and I called them today to see how much it would be to pay it off thinking the interest will be dropped and they told me when I signed the contract I agreed to pay the full interest if payed off early and I was never told that. So I have a car thats worth $3,000 and when Im done pay for it in 2015, it will be $20,000 by then it probably will only be worth $1,000. My contract start 3/2012. On top of it all they have some rude employees too, what a rip off.
