Dont bother. They have no inventory. I was told I could be put on a four month waiting list. Right...I saw a couple cars of the model I was interested in. The had one on the show floor. But, they had nothing for me to test drive. So I left with barely a goodbye. Not even a Can I call you when one comes in. Too many customers, not enough cars.

UPDATE: I’m giving two stars back, purely because of the Manager of this location. Dan, unlike the other people I interacted with, was very kind and eager to hear me out. He didn’t try to make excuses for his staff, and instead was understanding and fair, given the circumstances of this particular experience. I’m still hesitant to take my car back to this location, because I was definitely taken advantage of by the staff, but, as someone with a decade of costumer service under their belt, I appreciate when someone goes out of their way to make an unpleasant situation better. Thank you, Dan. They are lucky to have you.ORIGINAL POST: I wish I could give this experience 0 stars. I went in for a routine check-up. Was asked to do a factory package instead, which is priced x 10 my original inquiry. Great. Fine. Next Im told a few parts need attention and replacements. I asked the price and was told over and over again it wont be more than 700. Okay, this is super expensive, but if its for the health of my car, go ahead.I had to leave the maintenance area (what was supposed to take 2 hours max was now taking 5) and asked my boyfriend to check out my car when it is ready. When he checked out my bill was $1,120. This is absolutely unacceptable service and incredibly sleazy. At every point I asked the service representative to update the total price. Several times. I was given a quote that never exceeded $700. I am absolutely FURIOUS. Had I known the bottom price I would have NEVER continued with their service. This is a cheap, sleazy, and dishonorable way to conduct business. Shame on you Luther Kia of Bloomington. Id rather waive my warranty and go with local businesses than ever bring my car to you. You can be absolutely certain I will warn others about the way you conduct your business.

This is a fine dealership, but their service department is impossible to schedule. They are always scheduling weeks out and never available for short-notice or walk-ins. If you prefer buying where you will ultimately service your vehicle, this dealership-service group isnt worth the hassle.

Update - Manager reached out in a very genuine fashion to explain the situation and tell me the steps the are, and have been; taking to fix it. Based on this I feel they deserve 5 stars.Classic bait and switch you would expect from a car dealership. Shows vehicles in their online inventory that are already reserved for customers. Goes as far as to let you apply for credit online only to have a sales rep reach out to tell you it isnt available, meanwhile trying to cross sell you on whatever they actually have in stock. Save your time and go through an online dealership like Carvana, they actually shoot you straight and can fulfill your requested if it is listed in their inventory.

This dealership is fantastic! Previously we had purchased two vehicles from Jeff Belzers but we were never very happy with the service; what a difference at Luther! Mike in sales was fantastic, and it was truly a pleasure to work with him. We never felt pressure and there were no car salesman vibes which was great! Later we worked with Jeremy in finance who was equally great and quite fun to work with. My wife and I have never had that much fun buying a car. I dont think you can go wrong doing business with these guys!

We received wonderful customer service from Madison at Luther Kia of Bloomington. She was extremely responsive and readily available as we managed a major repair through Kia. Madison was very pleasant and helpful during all of our phone calls. She regularly provided updates about the possible timelines and steps along the way with such a repair. She additionally was flexible and assisted us in obtaining a rental from Kia that worked with our schedule. Madison provided fabulous service, and we hope to work with her again at Luther Kia of Bloomington. I would highly recommend this Kia dealership and service center. Ask for Madison!

I have had a turbo replaced followed 5k miles later by turbo and engine. I was thinking ok I have a new Sportage at 35k. No turns out we could not turn the car off. No seriously, had to put it in gear and foot on brake push ignition button. They could not find issue and replaced wiring harness. I have had issues with monitor ever since. Called GM multiple times No response.

We had a great experience at Luther Kia in Bloomington Minnesota. My wife and I were referred by friends to our salesperson, Cheri Brotemarkle. She was very straightforward about the deal, selling at MSRP with no mark-up. She always contacted us within a day or two of changes as we went through the order, build and delivery process. While we were waiting for our order to be built, she called and offered a Telluride that would be delivered sooner, after someone else had backed out of it. Without any hassle on our part, we were able to accept delivery over a month sooner than we would have otherwise. After the car arrived at the dealer, she was proactive in telling us the next steps and was very accommodating to our schedule when to pick it up. She was also accommodating to our need to inspect and drive the car prior to meeting with the finance team. Their finance guy, without being overbearing, offered service and warranty packages. When we said no, he didnt harass us about it. He did actually save us a couple hundred bucks by outlining the financing packages and we chose the one that would ultimately save more.They delivered the car clean and well prepped, including a full tank of gas. Once the paperwork was done, Cheri spent over 30 minutes going over the features of the Infotainment and other areas including warning us about the second row occupancy sensor and how to turn it off :)Overall an excellent experience, especially when compared to other dealers weve worked with in the past.

Absolute thieves. Claimed it was almost $200 dollars to diagnose the problem when I told them what the problem was before hand (I didnt drop the car off so I didnt know this was happening). Once they told us what was wrong I asked how they diagnosed. They said they drove it around the block. $200 to drive the car around the block?! Absolutely nuts. They ended up working that charge into the final price as labor, in the end I paid over $500 in labor to change ONE wheel bearing with no antilock break sensor. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Giving it one star because I cant choose zero.

My experience was AWESOME! Sitting there for almost 4 hours and phone dying was frustrating. There is a lot of things I could’ve done in that time. Jeff made my time more understandable, he let me know that there was things I needed done at a reasonable price. He referred me to the payment finance through kia. He constantly checked on me, was interested in my weekend and personal life. All above my experience was a bonus, his customers service makes me want to come back every maintenance check.

Edit- in response to the owners reply here I reached out several times. I was always told that the manager would be in touch but never heard back.I bought a car, a 2016 Kia soul, from this dealer. The price was unbeatable, and the car looked great. I took it on a test drive and did my due diligence.There was a weird smell that I thought was from the cleaning that the dealer had just done. It turned out that there was mold in the air conditioning system.They told me they couldnt fix it because it was my problem, and they werent responsible for cleaning it.I also found rotten grapes underneath the seat belt gap and many other factors that lead me to believe they didnt even bother to clean the car.On top of that, I paid to have two tires placed on the car. This is because they identified two tires as needing replacement.They didnt balance any of them. Driving home my car shook like crazy.I brought it back, and they admitted their fault. Despite me driving 30 minutes to get to them and 30 minutes back to solve the issue that shouldnt have been a problem.This dealer might have great prices on cars, but you will pay for their ineptitude.Jason

We walked in on a Thursday evening and were met by a very personable sales person, Edin. He showed us what was available, explained our options and we found a perfect match! Jim did an amazing job! I did not know what car I was looking for.... (first time car buyer). Told jim what I wanted, what was the best price range for me, and he made that happen! He showed me a Kia Optima 2019! And I was shooked for my price range I get this Optima! Amazing!.... For a first time car buyer I suggest going to Luther Kia of Bloomington for your first time cars, especially if you have kids or planning to... super spacious in the back seats, a lot of safety features. I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Unfortunately, shortly after purchasing I found two manufacturer defects; one to the paint and another to the faux leather in the car.I submitted a claim on this in person. One month later I followed up as I had not heard back. Even though the car had under 500 miles at this time their team indicated it was normal wear and should be expected. Spoke to the service manager on this and it has been over a month again with absolutely no follow-up.Very unfortunate as my family has purchased from Luther dealerships in the past, but are now uncertain about doing business with them again. This could have been easily solved with at bare minimum follow-up and communication post-sale.

Okay, so I know that dealerships are constantly looked down upon for price gouging, mystery fees, and all kinds of other issues that come with the territory. BUT, not in this case.I was dealing with NICK in the service department. Nick was stellar from the original discussion to the final bill. No surprises, it came in exactly where he promised it would be at. Furthermore, Nick made a suggestion that would save me thousands of dollars down the road! He did not have to do that, but he chose to do it as an amazing customer service add-on!!!So, if you are looking to get your Kia serviced in the Twin Cities, make sure to give Nick at Luther Kia a call. He will listen to your needs, come up with a plan and make sure to tell you where you will be for pricing. That kind of honest integrity is something I will always return for. Recently leased a Kia Sportage Nightfall Edition from Luther Kia of Bloomington. This is our fourth Kia (two Sportages and two Fortes.) Top-notch dealership and zero pressure from all departments. Christine S. was our leasing consultant, we have dealt with her twice now and she is an excellent representative, yall are lucky to have her on staff. Has built a relationship with us, very particular about getting a vehicle to suit the needs of the family, and on this one, to suggest a practical leasing mileage plan so were not freaking out at 36 months. We had zero turnaround time on this one as the old lease was about to expire, and one time before when my sons car broke down for good. Matt D. in Finance Dept very chill and excellent as well, signed us up for maintenance and wear-and-tear, no pressure at all. Thanks again, all.

After getting into my first real accident, and being faced with having to buy a new car, I was stressed out the entire way there. When I walked through the door Jim greeted me at the door and was super helpful and sweet. Though I wasnt ready to buy on the spot he pulled the car I was interested in and answered all my questions. He was also willing to come in on his day off to help me.Because i was anxious and couldnt wait to come back and purchase, Mike walked me through the purchasing process a few days later. It was such a treat to work with him. I rarely have experiences where I want to hug the other person. It was really hard to walk out without giving him one.I love the car I got. The service was amazing. I would totally recommend this dealership.Sidenote...a sales guy named Gabriel answered one of the times I called with questions about getting a purchase agreement. He was not a pleasure to talk to at all. I was relieved I didnt have to work with him when I got thier later that day.

After having returned the exact same car to another dealership earlier in the morning that lied about its history I contacted Luther Kia Bloomington to inquire about an advertised 2017 used Kia Optima. I asked Mike if it had been smoked in and he verified it was not. I told him I would be there in 45 minutes and he said he would be waiting. The car was waiting out front when I pulled up and was in exceptionally good shape. Clean, smoke free, and ready for a test drive.After a short drive, we sat down and worked through the necessary paperwork to get the deal done. Mike was exceptionally professional and well versed. Given the dealership was busy that morning I took my daughter home and came back to finish up the paperwork while the car was detailed. Total time was less than 3 hours and was a very pleasant experience.Thanks for being a professional dealer and an honest one that supports establishing relationships for future business.

Worst dealership I’ve ever been to. They do not care about you as a person. They only care about making a sale. They are not in the business to make sure you get a good deal, or to make sure you are making a good financial decision. They will get you into an extreme bad APR just like they did to me and my wife. We were first time car buyers and we trusted that they would take care of us. The manager is extreme disrespectful and thinks he’s better than you. Every time I spoke with him he talked down to me as if he thought he was better. If I could give a ZERO star, that would be a more accurate rating for them.

My sales rep was very nice, and professional. I did end up leasing a new vehicle from him. The problem I have is that the other sales reps nearby were lowering their masks off their nose and mouth to chat with each other. It made me feel super worried the whole time. I would not rate this location very highly due to their Covid-19 response. Masks should be kept on at all times while inside. This is Government mandated, and also just good business! It seems many of the sales reps only complied with mask wearing when working directly with customers.

I have bought many vehicles over the years, but this experience may have topped them all!The Telluride SX is a very popular model right now, causing some supply and demand issues. And some dealers are using this as an excuse to charge over MSRP and otherwise take advantage of the situation. Not so here!The dealership experience was amazing, our sales rep Jon was incredibly proactive maintaining excellent communication from beginning to end. We got the car we wanted, in the colors and options we wanted, in the time-frame we needed. There were no unpleasant surprises, no nonsense, no lies. In fact nothing like the usual shenanigans that unfortunately dog many car buying experience.The Telluride feels like a huge upgrade over our family Lexus, and the dealer experience was outstanding. Id be happy to recommend to friends and family, and any random person reading this now!

I purchased my first car from Luther Kia of Bloomington in 2015. I fell in love with my Kia Soul and traded it in for a 2020 model yesterday. I havent had much luck at this dealership and my previous experience with their customer service was awful. I am happy to report that Jon and Jeremy helped me out yesterday and were both awesome to work with! Jon was very knowledgeable and helped guide me in the right direction. Im a 19 year old who works full time and finally made enough to buy her own car. I chose this dealership after looking around at others for quite some time. My dad and I went up to test drive some cars and as we live a few hours away we made a day of it. while being in the building was good my salesman walked away to help other people look at a car while we were in the middle of talking. After the third time my dad and I left for home, about 30 minutes into the drive we get a call from him asking if we can come back to finish everything we explained we cant and told him we would call him when we returned home.Following that we called him later that afternoon and told him I would take the car. By the next afternoon all of the financing was done and my bank told him that they would overnight the rest of the money to them so they would have it by the morning. My salesman and I worked out a deal that he would have it delivered to Mankato which is about the halfway point between us. By Wednesday everything was signed, sealed and delivered all I needed was the car itself. It is now Friday night and I still do not have the car. My dad and him have been talking about when the car will be delivered and he kept saying this afternoon or that didnt work so the next day. Tomorrow my dad and brother are driving to the cities to get my car because this is becoming more work and stress then anything else.While yes that has been a downside I do have to say that when we made a test drive app. We got there early and they helped us right away. He answered all questions my dad or I may have had and explained what everything was and why we needed to sign it.Overall my experience will be remembered and although I suggest going in person to handle everything so it gets done in a timely manner doing things over the phone does still gets you to the same place just at a different pace.

I had zero knowledge on Kias and I felt very comfortable asking all of the questions I had, I didnt feel rushed or silly for asking them. He was very friendly, relatable, and knowledgable on all of the cars there. I recently found myself in Bloomington on an overnight trip. When I left my hotel the light on my dashboard indicated that I had low tire pressure. I drove staight to the Kia dealer. I spoke to Adam in the service department. He was able to get my car in right away and kept me informed of the repairs, the need for new tires and helped getting those purchased and installed. It was a very busy Saturday for luther Kia of Bloomington. They knew we were coming in to test ride. My wife did not enjoy the hustle and fast paced environment of having to make quick decisions. Our experience with Luther Kia of Bloomington was great! I contacted the dealership early in the morning to inquire about a Dodge Durango they had. I got a quick response back from Chris S in the sales department. He went above and beyond sending me all the details about the vehicle I was interested in before we made the 2 hour drive up there. Once we got there we were greeted by Chris with the vehicle ready for us outside. The vehicle was in the condition as Chris described through email- making our trip well worth it. He and the finance team stayed late in order for us to be able to take the vehicle home that day. We got a fair price for our trade and we had an excellent experience with the staff. I had a great experience working with Edin. I factory ordered a Telluride which took months to arrive due to demand. The process went as smooth as it could go for a car buying experience once the vehicle arrived.When I ordered I was told it would be quiet / no communication until they had an update on delivery from Kia. I have been to this dealership for multiple cars at this point. My first experience was when my Saturn’s alternator died; I came in just really needing to make something work, my first time buying a car on my own. I was connected with Mike Lipke, and was kind and patient and explained everything to me that I needed to know. Once we settled on a car, Jeremy was very patient as well and explained all of financial aspects that are v scary. When my Soul was having issues, the lead mechanic went out of his way to make sure that the $1,500 fix was actually that. Turned out to be a $200 fix.Fast forward: my Kia Soul got demolished by a UHaul while sitting parked, and Jeremy helped me find the papers for my Gap Insurance and explained what would happen in the process and that it might take a while. (It did, he was right)Now, just a week ago, I stopped in to get a new car because I saved up for a down payment. Mike and Jeremy helped me again, and were transparent with me about the whole process, helped me and my partner find a car within our budget.If you are looking for a kind, smart, (and handsome) guy to sell you a car talk to Mike!! Purchased my vehicle here and have returned for all routine maintenance. Very nice staff, communicate well and always make sure you are updated step by step. Shuttling to downtown Minneapolis for me personally would be great for when I can just leave the car and not wait but it also isn’t horrible since I have the ability to work remotely at times.

Ask for Kenny!!! The Mrs and I just finished getting our new Kia. We are giving up an old lease that we are WAY over miles on and Kenny was a breeze to work with. While we are definitely leaving slightly over where we wanted to be price wise, this was entirely our decision. Kenny asked what we wanted and what price points and showed us our options, it was me who decided to venture in the higher costs and I am very satisfied with doing so. Kenny was upfront about time, cost, and what to expect through the process. Never did I feel he was trying to get us by any means. Im here on a Saturday so its expected to be a slower than usual process and this place is slammed right now so that only speaks volumes to the service you will receive when coming here. I chatted with a few folks but Kenny will be my go-to car salesman in the future. KIA, you better pay this gentleman correctly, id hate to have to follow him to Toyota or something down the line. I worked with Mike Lipke, he was phenomenal. I had just came from another Kia dealership that kept trying to pressure me to buy a car I wasnt comfortable with. When I came to Luther Kia Bloomington, I worked with Mike. He gave me the keys to test drive the car, he answered all of my first time buyer questions. He even helped me streamline the process of buying.He didnt try to upsale me on many things, he just showed me what they offered and asked if Im interested. When I said no, he kept it moving. They gave me WAYYYYY better perks than the last dealership offered. Like the gas discount card, the MOA discount card, the warranty, and my first complimentary oil change. I would definitely refer people here!

Came in Monday morning around 10am. Walked around outside looking for a “newer” vehicle, then proceeded inside to look at some available SUV’s. This took about 15 minutes, not a single person said hi or acknowledged that I existed. One lady was working on her computer then walked right passed me too busy to even say hi, (FYI I wasn’t trying to hide!). I then proceeded to walk their entire parking lot! Now I hate cold weather but even I enjoyed the weather today!!! There were 4 service workers parking cars and not one of them let the sales department know there were people strolling their lot! What is with this idea that women get no help at this dealership! Extremely unimpressed! My time spent walking around trying to find a vehicle was about 45 minutes. I eventually went back inside and Edin was actually helpful! But the lack of Customer Focused Service is appalling! This isn’t the first time I’ve come in and was treated this way! This place really needs some help in this department. A simple hello would have made my experience a 4 star.

Jay was fantastic! He was patient. Told me what my monthly car payment would be based on various scenarios which I really appreciated. I recently purchased a Kia about 1-1/2 years ago and paid to extend my warranty , as I had read and heard so many wonderful things about Kia and their customer service. Since purchasing my vehicle, I have taken it to the dealership for my oil changes and just recently for two recalls on my vehicle. Recently, I have been working with Jeff in the service department to get the two recalls completed, along with an oil change and a review of my tires, as at my last appointment I was told that my tires were fair. I am expecting and have a 13 month old, and asked if they could review my tires to see what their opinion was on which tires definitely needed to be repaired right away, as money is rather tight at the moment. Jeff and his team have gone above in this whole experience. I was called just before close last night to be provided with an update on my tires along with three options for tire replacement (as they should be replaced) , A good, better and best options for tire replacement. Jeff carefully walked me through each option and suggested which would be best for myself and our family situation. All of my services were completed in such quick fashion and I could not be more thrilled with my experience with Jeff and his wonderful, hardworking team. Having worked in the customer service industry for most my life, I find it is so difficult to find valuable customer service in todays world, and here at Luther Kia in Bloomington, you will always feel taken care of and trust those in which you work with. I have not spoken to one person at Kia and not had a pleasant experience. Thank you Luther Kia for making feel so much better/confident about spending the extra money (at which time we could hardly afford) to extend my warranty for my Kia. Some new vehicles they had on hand looked as though they where used, dirty inside. Will not take my business here at all second bad experience, thought maybe they changed. Guess not

I brought my car in for a recall on the engine. They fixed it, they took it out for a test drive to make sure everything was running smoothly and the driver had an accident in my car. I’ve had the absolute worst experience. This is my first car that I am buying myself VERY upsetting!

We went in to test drive the new Telluride and from that point forward, we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Jim was phenomenal to work with. We had to order our vehicle in the color and trim we preferred which was a few weeks out. Jim would provide us with updates and check in on when the vehicle would be arriving. He was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. When we received our vehicle he seemed just as excited for us, as we were to receive the vehicle. The management would check in with us when we were there as well and were great to talk to. Matt helped us with the finance and he was great as well. He went over everything we needed and explained it in detail so there were no questions or surprises. Overall, best experience weve had so far with any of our vehicles!!
