However, from the time of vacate of our rental house, Jae and his team had our house listed in 2 weeks!! In that two weeks, Jae’s team touch up painted the interior, handy man repair work, staged, photographed, professionally cleaned including carpets, landscaped, pressure washed, sewer scoped and had our house preinspected and more.We received a spread sheet with timelines on the timeline of work to be done before listing and we were given updates with any changes.Natalie and Jae really are a full service concierge real estate service that I didn’t know existed until we hired Jae and his team.Quality, professionalism, Integrity, experience, honesty and timeliness couldn’t have been more spot on. Of course, if you’re thinking of hiring a real estate agent, do your due diligence and interview several, like we did. I’m certain that you will hire Jae and you won’t be sorry.My husband and I call Jae “the wizard of real estate!”

Jae and Natalie were absolutely crucial to us being able to get into our first home and I cant imagine how it would have gone without them. Jae is incredibly knowledgeable and always offered advice that he believed would be in our best interest. As with many in the Seattle market, there were times in which we were competing against many others, but he constantly helped us to persist and try new ways to achieve our goal after failure. Often we were seeing a house and would have to make a decision on it within the next 12-48 hours, and with Jaes help we never missed an offer deadline. When walking through homes he would always point out things to look out for if he saw anything that looked out of place. Again, I cant recommend working with him enough.

We bought our first home in September and cannot imagine having done this with anyone other than Jae and his amazing team! Jae went absolutely above and beyond in every category. Not only is he everything you want in a realtor (honest, knowledgable, trustworthy, communicative, available at all hours, etc.) but he is also a licensed contractor and had so much helpful information for us regarding very specific details of each house we looked at. With his extensive knowledge we were able to majorly expand the scope of houses we looked at, knowing that he could coach us through a variety of renovation projects. We did end up buying a house that we are in the process of fully gutting/renovating and 2 months later we are still in contact with him most days to get his advice. He is incredible!His assistant, Natalie, is also amazing! We had a difficult search through the summer and she organized 1,500 letters to be sent out to potential sellers in our desired neighborhood. There are truly too many standout moments to mention from our time working with Jae and his team. We felt so calm and confident throughout this process because we knew Jae would be able to get us through any roadblocks we encountered. For example, our lender, who we were fully underwritten by at the time we put in an offer, ended up falling through after our offer was accepted. Jae pulled out a miracle by finding a new lender within the day who would be able to close within the time frame of our contract. I have about a hundred more examples of Jae and his team going above and beyond but I’ll spare you the details and just say Jae and his team are truly the best there is.

This is the first review Ive ever written - thats how great Jae is. He is incredibly knowledgable about the market, always willing to answer our many questions, and an expert in home renovations (really important for us as we werent going for turn key). With how competitive the market is, he was an absolute asset and we couldnt have closed on our lovely home without him. Cant recommend enough!

Buying a home with Jae was an excellent experience. He explored in depth what we were looking for, what our priorities were, and lined up tour days of relevant homes in our target area. When we werent able to get to certain interesting homes since we were out of state, he put together his own detailed video tour of that home to give us a better sense of things the MLS pictures alone didnt convey.One thing in particular we appreciated about Jae is his expertise as a builder. Jae is a skilled contractor/carpenter, and has a ton of insight into how well things are done at candidate properties, when corners were cut, and how difficult/expensive certain work might be after purchase. He can see past things which superficially look good and talk about real long-lasting quality.

My knowledge of Jae’s professional real estate skills is based upon experiences my extended family and friends have had in working with him. He quickly identified two prospective residences on the Eastside and one in the South Sound for my sister-in-law, a niece and a nephew, all of whom moved to our area from California within the past year and a half. In addition we referred to Jae friends who recently moved from New York City to Seattle to work for Amazon.Needless to say a move from out-of-state to an unfamiliar geographic area can be stressful and challenging, but Jae made the whole process easy and, more importantly, very satisfying. He goes well beyond what would normally be expected of a real estate agent, including pre-inspections, financing or design ideas and arranging for interior/exterior painting, landscaping and other home improvement specialists, if needed. He is up-to-date on current market conditions and trends and takes a realistic approach toward valuing property, both from the sellers or buyers viewpoint.Since making a referral to Jae reflects ultimately on us, we have no reservation whatsoever that he will exceed everyone’s expectations.

Jae was amazing. He went above and beyond what you would expect from a realtor. Buying a home is a huge commitment and honestly I wouldnt trust any realtor as much as I trusted Jae. Most realtors only care about the sale so they can get their commission. Jae is on a different level. Jae did an amazing job of helping us understand what a certain neighborhood was like, let alone the actual house. Jae helped us understand things like what the drive to and from our perspective house would be (kind of a big deal if you commute for a living). He helped us understand what the community we would be buying into would be like, not just the house. Jae brings a different kind of experience and knowledge that most realtors dont have. Most realtors are just paper pushers. They may understand the industry, but very few understand what goes in to building and creating a home. If your realtor has never had caulking or sheet rock dust on their hands, are you really getting an expert opinion?

This review is long due and is probably going to be super long as well – but frankly, nothing else would do justice to the wonderful agent that Jae is. This was our second home buying process with Jae and we are confident when we say- ‘we couldn’t have done it without him’.The first thing you will notice is Jae’s calm and composed temperament. Everyone buying a home experiences losing to multiple bids at some point or the other – its tiring and mentally exhausting. We lost bids to three homes and being extremely picky buyers, it wasn’t easy. Most of the bids we lost to were cash offers or went way above what we would be willing to pay. Jae stayed positive and helped us stay positive throughout this tiring process and never let us lose hope that we wouldn’t find our dream home. Along the way he gave us so may tips and strategies on how to narrow down on homes, which were helpful and insightful. Jae is thorough about his work, gives a wide range of suggestions and is willing to give his best no matter what.Coming to our purchase - We saw a house Bellevue – a location that is highly sought out and is always hot red in terms of the market. The house, surprisingly satisfied almost all our needs – had a lawn, our favorite floor plan, had high ceilings, great schools and convenient commute. The only downside was it did not look like the price it was listed for – so going at that price or beyond it was out of question. It still needed a new paint, fixtures and new appliances which would put us at a price level way above our budget. Jae worked with us on a detailed plan of how much we would need to invest in vs. how much we would be willing to spend on the house given its current state. Armed with that and his excellent negotiation skills he managed to bring the price down by almost ~10%- which in this market is a near impossible deal. In a market where houses were going 25% higher, Jae helped us negotiate a lower price – that speaks volumes about the agent that Jae is.And it does not stop here … Jae went over and above helping us prep up our house - He helped us meeting contractors, gave us advice on what and where to purchase, gave us suggestions on which paint to get and even helped us install a bathroom vanity with his own bare hands (btw he is a great handyman as well – a bonus if are a rookie at this!)Jae also helped us sell our previous home amidst all this. Our previous home was located on a hill and we knew we were looking at a specific buyer segment who would be willing to pay for a great deck, beautiful views, but no backyard with a steep hill. It was a long process to find the right person – but Jae relentlessly did open houses every weekend and made sure that he was available in person to answer any questions (he could have easily transferred that to someone else in his team, but he did not). We finally found the right buyer and though the process was tiring Jae gave his best shot and got us the price we wanted.In a nutshell - Jae has been monumental in every stage of our home buying/selling experience – from searching, bidding, negotiating, staging, fixing and selling – he left no stone unturned. If you are looking for someone you could trust, learn and partner on this rollercoaster ride of buying a home – I’d recommend Jae without an iota of doubt.
