Started out being our daughter looking but before we left my husband and I were looking to trade my car for a new vehicle. Best vehicle buying experience by far!!! I had a specific truck in mind and needed certain features that were a must, but at the same time hard to find. Mike did an awesome job in finding just what I was looking for. When it came to adding accessories he was super efficient, as he was not only able to get the accessories I needed but also had them installed in record time. Along with that, Mike’s communication throughout the entire process was top notch!To top off our experience we worked with Kristen in finance, who was super easy going and extremely well prepared. 2 years ago our daughter had just been born and we needed a practical vehicle to haul her around. The car salesman was quick to point out a vehicle he had a great deal on. Was a 2012 Ford Focus and thought we had purchased a decent vehicle until the clutch or transmission started stuttering pretty much driving it off the lot. The salesman assured us that is was just how Ford made those vehicles and that it was just the car adjusting to our driving. Well low and behold I come to find out it wasnt the car adjusting and they have a large settlement out on those vehicles for that specific reason and to find out out that the settlement was closed and there was nothing we could do. Just seems to be shady business taking advantage of young brand new parents only to get a fast sale on a great deal he had for us and now stuck with a vehicle where it feels the transmission could slip or stall at any point with our daughter inside while driving.

Nice people to work with and made the first time car buying experience quick and easy for my son. Would recommend!

I dont know why anyone would want to buy a vehicle here. Went there to buy a Ram truck, they looked at my trade, said they would call (same day). To date I have not heard from them.If thats the kind of response you get before sale I would not trust them after the sale. Bought a new truck at Don Larson (very happy with them). If they dont care about my business then why would they care otherwise. Gave them a one but would have given a zero if i could. They lost my business forever.

As soon as I walked in to the dealership, I could feel that environment had a good feel. Everyone was pleasant and willing to make my time there a special experience. Special thanks to Richard and Kristen in the finance department for the time and hospitality! I will be back!!!

Financed a 2013 Ford Escape sel in January first off I want to mention the morning I purchased the car the price was reduced online but that is not the price I got , I got the original price with no mention of the price being reduced... I looked past that little deceptive move .....well it’s September and the transmission is completely blown I still owe ten grand on this vehicle!!! There is nothing they can do to help. This is a psa BMG will take advantage of you BMG will sell you a lemon and lie right to your face... the guy said “ I can’t sell bad cars to my community I live here too I don’t wanna get beaten up at Walmart” .... just stay away.

I had a flat tire and was traveling through Baraboo, I went in asking if they were able to fix it, since I had to get back on the road. They fixed my tire in less than an hour! Front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful! Definitely recommend! Friendly and efficient staff!

Gave them a list of things we needed done ...looked at our truck for 15 min. Retype the list and charged me 301.00. They said I had no tire sensors on my truck I argued with her that it does...and one is not working...wanted to charge me over $500 to replace all four....wasted my morning they did absolutely NOTHING...went to another dealer my sensors all worked within 5 min. Service is a joke!

Awesome Business! I had my ignition switch go out when we were in the Dells and had to have it towed to their dealership on a Sunday. When we followed the tow truck there, one of the owners (Tim) was just arriving to get some work done even though they were closed. He spent a good hour out in below zero temps trying to help get my truck on the road since we didnt know what was wrong with it at that time. We were both freezing but he kept trying everything possible. I had to grab a hotel for the night. The staff there on Monday went above and beyond to help me out with there being a big snowstorm hitting. Even though I am not in that area, I would totally buy my next vehicle from there! Exceptional staff and exceptional service! I really appreciated everything you guys did. Tim and the service center staff gets 5+ stars!

Finally got a Jeep!I spotted the Jeep that I purchased just by luck on a random car finder site and it was at Baraboo Motors. I immediately went to look at it. It was so new on the lot that it hadnt even been detailed yet from the previous owner. Charlie Simmons, a sales person, came up and asked if I would like to look at it even though it wasnt ready for sale quite yet. He grabbed the keys and we went for a test ride. On the test ride Charlie was explaining things about the Jeep and pretty much knew it inside and out. Very impressive! My wife and I ended up financing the Jeep and Charlie made sure it was in line to get detailed and checked over for the next day to pick up.After we picked it up, I noticed just 1 little thing that wasnt working correctly and got a hold of Charlie and he got it right back in to get checked and fixed! Very satisfied with the Jeep, Charlie and the service people! We will definitely be buying from Baraboo Motors again in the future!

They came and picked up my car for an oil change and inspection so I didnt have to worry about taking off work or finding a ride while my car was being worked on. They called during the oil change and told me about a recall on my car and that they were going to fix that too while they had my car. It was INCREDIBLY easy to set this up, I even changed the date/time a few times due to weather and illnesses and they were SO accommodating. I am 100% going to be using them over and over again!

We had searched far and wide to get a new van. Because we were carrying over some negative equity on our trade, we were having difficulty getting financing. Baraboo Motors was able to get us in a new Dodge Grand Caravan in one day!!! It is our dream car and we couldnt be happier. Bart Kociecki was excellent to work with. He was very prompt and honest. My wheel bearing went out on the way to Indiana. The towing company you had told my vehicle damaged my front bumper license plate. The garage lost my hubcap put a defective wheel bearing in overcharged me for labor put a aftermarket cheaper part in that wore out immediately told me my REM was bad and change the tires over on the rim wasnt bad and it could have merely just put the spare tire on the vehicle instead they chose to put a mismatched tire on my vehicle that I didnt ask for. We purchased both our vehicles from baraboo motors and have had no problems.They even worked with us to find the exact durango we were looking for color and all.We felt they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our buying experience.We give service a A+ the technicians are very knowledgeable and the service receptionists are very kind and helpful.We are very impressed with the diesel mechanic,we have always owned a diesel and have never found a diesel mechanic so skilled.We have no complaints its well worth the hour and a half drive to get this kind of service.

Make the guest feel comfortable and dont push into making them feel very flustered when leaving. I asked if they would negotiate price because the price was a little high for what the vehicle was and for the miles. I had some family with me and when we said I dont know, I want to keep looking, I got very upset when I was told to come look at the prices. And when they test drove my vehicle to see how much they would do a trade-in for, they did not give me my keys back which made me also upset and said they would only give me 1,000 granted yes I know the year and a little old, but its a top running car with low miles. And as soon as I said I wont get rid of it for that little, your instant to giving me another 500? I get your making comission, your trying to make money, but put yourself in the customers shoes. I have a similar job, I have to upsell in order to make a bigger paycheck. I dont try to force my client into something they do not want to do. Put customers first and yourself second. I will not be returning.

I would give zero stars if possible. I am an auto tech in a different area. My mother bought a 2015 Chrysler 200 from this dealership and paid in full the day of sale. General maintenance on this vehicle was done every 5k miles. When just out of warranty she parks the vehicle at night as usual. She goes to start it in the morning and finds that it shifted itself into nuetral and the electronic emergency brake engaged itself. She was unable to get the emergency brake to disengage nor get the vehicle back into park to start the vehicle. She got the run around from this dealership from the get go. claiming to have not heard ever heard of this problem. And blaming it on not having it brought to them for general maintenance. General maintenance has nothing to do with this electrical issue that is all over the internet. Now my mother has to pay for a new battery, towing, and for the vehicle to be reprogrammed. This dealership is not what they partray to be to your face when purchasing a vehicle. I was there when she bought it and I wouldve never expected this as a result.

Friendly and fast service

Bought a Chevy equinox from the a year a go, paid cash. The back hatch was damaged they sent it to be repaired. It looked great when I got it back, but now I learned instead of actually fixing it the put Bondo on it!! The Bondo is now cracked on both sides and my back hatch is rusting!! NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!

New small suvI found Nate to be a pleasure to deal with, he listened to what I wanted and why I wanted these features. He found the vehicle I wanted and the color I wanted. He did not pressure me into getting things I didnt want or need. He also went through the vehicle with me and told me if I have any questions I could call him any time.

Fast friendly did only what needed to no surprises

Unexpectedly got into a truck search. Discovered that apparently car dealerships feel like theyre being taken advantage of by unscrupulous buyers and theyre tired of it. So they fight back by not working on the prices, and not calling people ready to buy back. I found BMG on car gurus. They had the exact same truck I was looking at at a dealer considerably closer to me. That dealer wouldnt entertain dropping the price $400, and wouldnt call me back. Bergstrom Chevy in Middleton. BMG gave me the price I needed before I even asked. They found me a better credit score, better interest rate, ams better monthly payments than I expected. Plus the truck was certified by Chrysler and came with 2 warranties l. 1 of which will last until next year. I thought the truck was clean already, but they cleaned it again, and filled the gas tank. Mike Wells and the staff didnt make me feel like I was an inconvenience. They didnt pressure me at all. Very good experience.

We walked all north Baraboo searching for a car used or new it wouldnt matter. I end up in my house thinking and searching dealers and BGM was one of the search results, I see the reviews and decided that after going to Ford Glacier something we were gonna go to BGM and when we went there, the person that made all this happen was Bret Simpson he is an angel brought to us to make this miracle happen for us and I have to mention Richard, We spent almost two weeks getting the papers done and trying our best from both sides to make it happen; they made my miracle come true so Im more than gratefull with this two persons. I had just recently totaled my 2007 GMC Canyon and was looking on the internet sites around the area for a replacement vehicle and never thought about BMG. My wife and I were on our way back home from an appointment in Sauk City and thought we could take a look at what BMG might have. As soon as we pulled in we saw the used trucks by the driveway and stopped to look. Charlie Simmons came out to greet us and ask all the right questions. We decided to test drive a 2013 GMC Sierra and loved it! So we all sat down and did the paperwork for it. I explained to Charlie that I was not for sure when the insurance check would be in my hands. So I put some money down on it to hold it. It took way too long for the check to come, but the BMG group was more than understanding and it all came together about three weeks later. I can not say enough good things about how I was treated!!! Thank You!! We REALLY are enjoying the new (to us) truck.

Out standing place for all your automotive needs

We had been to a couple of other dealers earlier in the day looking for a mid-size SUV or Crossover with very little luck when we stopped in at BMG. We were immediately greeted by Charlie who was eager to help us. Upon talking with him for a short time he knew exactly what our needs were and set us up with a test drive. While we were out he worked with Richard to get some fiance paperwork started. In less that a half hour they had us approved returning the ball to our court for a final decision. Unfortunately the vehicle that we were interested in sold over the weekend but yet again Charlie stepped up and had another one identical to what we were looking at on the lot in less than 48 hours. This is the first brand new vehicle that we have purchased and these guys made it easy peasy. We have never had anyone from sales and/or financing work so quickly and diligently to try to get what we needed. We couldnt be happier with the customer service we received at BMG and hope to do business here for many more years.
