Ive only experienced this place twice so far and I obviously love it since I drive 30 minutes away in down town Atlanta traffic to get here. They due great reasonable price nails and the atmosphere is friendly. The techs are friendly and will laugh and joke around with you unlike most places where you know they talking about you or someone else. Yall know what Im saying lol!!! I will definitely continue to go out my way to get to them.

They advertised $14.99 for a nail set - I guess you get what you pay for. Id say the price is to lure you in, but you have to pay much more to get anything decent. The job they did was just bad and I felt horrible because my daughter paid for it herself. She kept her hands balled up and hidden and hated it. It was lumpy and uneven and the nail color was applied badly. Had to go to another nail place to correct it and the lady there pointed out how it wasnt done right and was too thin. Needless to say, wont ever go back.

Lady rushed my nails because they were about to close. She also made me bleed trying to take a previous set off. She went under the nail bed instead of on top. Didn’t even apologize.I came in at 5, if you didn’t want to do it, could of just said that! One of my nails broke the following day and was poorly polished anyway.I didn’t bother to go back.I went to Blanc nail salon and they fixed and hooked me up. My nails look bomb now.Also, the lady that did my pedicure didn’t clean the utensils that she was about to use on my feet.I had to tell her to ACTUALITY sanitize them, she tried to rinse them off with water.

Heidi is my nail tech. She’s been my nail tech for years. She’s very sweet although I don’t talk to anyone else there. She takes care of me every single time so that should tell you a lot about her work. She’s fast and I never had a broken nail before. This place is in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Very urban but I love that about the shop.

This place honestly was good when I first started going especially for the price, but once I became a usual customer the quality of my service changed. Ive never had a problem with my nails, but the one time I did and came back to get them fixed the individual who did my nails wasnt there so I asked the so called manager to fix them. Basically he said if he did I would have to pay more, because he didnt do my nails originally, my question was why cant he fix it and get the money from his employee that caused me to have to return. He had a horrid attitude and refused to help me at all with the situation, I will be returning to collect a FULL refund for the horrid job she did on my nails, but after that I will not. Their customer service is horrible and there are many other salons on the street I say try those first, because this is RIDICULOUS. The picture is how bad of a job they did its only 24 hours after I got them done, they were already lifting.

I was fooled by the pictures on their google listing. Asked for blue marble design on glass nails and received a splotchy mess with messy glitter everywhere, looked like nothing I asked for. I wish nail techs would stop saying they can do what is asked knowing they cannot- I would have been more than happy to pick something the tech could have executed well. Extremely disappointing and I will not be back.

The epitome of you get what you pay for. For the most part they always get the job done. It’s not a spa where you come to relax, it’s “get in, get out”A regular spa pedicure with gel is $35-45 on average. At City Nails is $25. Pay $10-20 extra for better quality service or go to city nails.

Outstanding prices for the services offered. I love it! The quality of service is soooo good! The techs are quick, they take instructions well, friendly, Creative, attentive to details. Its not a posh location, very basic. The issue is that the air ventilation is poor, bring simple mask to help.

0 stars. Came in here to get a regular manicure. Horrible experience from start to finish. They do not speak a lick of English, except when asking to pay. Not a single word relating to why I wanted my nails to look like. I tried to explain that I wanted my nails in an “oval” shape. Pretty simple, right? WRONG. I walked out of this salon with hangnails and nails that were shapen into all sorts of random shapes. Squares, round, sharp, none of my nails match each other! The nail file they used on my fingers made my nails BUMPY and rough. The nail file looked like it hadn’t been changed in 5 years. I asked for another file, and the second one came just like the first.Everything in this facility looks junked up. You know what you’re going into and SHAME on me for giving this place a chance. Disgusting. I wiped the polish off my nails already, minutes after the lady applied it. Polish looked years old, chunky and thick. I sat for 20 minutes and the polish was not even a little dry. 3 coats of chunky polish will do that.Charged me the wrong price for a manicure, and tried to tell me that the machine processes a $1 fee for every credit card transcript. I use the same machine at work, and I know better than to believe it. Ridiculous.Save your hard-earned money.

I went in today to try to get two broken nails repaired and I asked the man at the front working on someone who I should wait for and how long will the wait be. He repeatedly told me there was no one available now, and I repeatedly asked who would be available SOON and he repeatedly said no one. I sat down to just wait until the next tech became available, and I was sitting next to the table this man was sitting at. He was working on someone’s nails and she was trying to explain to him how she wanted her nails done and the man began yelling at her and saying “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EVEN WANT”. I left the salon and I will NEVER be back. Spend your money elsewhere. I usually go to this shop because the prices are more affordable, but the discounted price isn’t worth the ridiculously long wait times, bad service, dirtiness, and rudeness. Especially when there are two other nail salons on the same block.

Do not waste your money. If you’re someone who cares about the health of your nails and the environment you’re in this isn’t the nail salon for you. I will never go back. I went to another nail salon 24hours after my nails had been gone here horridly and the person at the new salon told me that if I hadn’t have come I would’ve gotten a fungus under my nail because of the cheap acrylic and the way in which it was put on water could easily get under. For this place to have 4 stars overall it’s insane this establishment needs to be shut down.

I went here for the first time two weeks ago for my nails and was beyond satisfied with the cost because I had 2 nails off and needed a fill in and I got that will gel polish for only $26! However, I’m currently in the shop and I’m upset because I came for a pedicure and the colors I was given to select from were hideous and my roommate and I got the same service but were treated completely different (I got a foot scrub and she did not - maybe they was throwing shade at me) but we paid for the SAME service! I feel like City Nails is a hit or miss but when it comes to my nails, I refuse to play those games.

Went in about two weeks ago for the first time.Ghetto environment but, I figured Id give them a try. The price for what I wanted was a bit much, but I really wanted the look so I went for it! Very please with the work the young lady did, they lasted and they did not lift! So on Friday I decided to go back there for my two week fill in. Things felt shaky from the start but I proceeded. (When I was there the first time I was told that my fill in would be $15) She tells me that my fill in would be $20 because i had some high end acrylic. She competes my services with one coat of the gel clear polish, and i leave. Three days later the polish is discolored and chipping I go back to see if they would fix my nails. She said she was busy and that if I went to anyone else in the shop I would have to pay. Yeah that was my LAST TIME THERE!!!!! I HATE BAD SERVICE!! Just do it right the first time.

NOTHING THEY USE IS STERILIZED..VERY DIRTY ...TRASH EVERYWHERE...my eyebrows broke out from the tech using the same razor..pedicure technician need trained on how to do feet..Im reporting them to the health department and the BBB..Very disrespectful people the manager is an a**hole who mocks black people ...I would recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Had my nails done 11/23/19. Today, 11/30 and three are broke. The stones are all crooked, the gel is peeling and the acrylic is touching my cuticles. Worst $50 ever spent.

I went for a fill in and cut down I was rushed by the guy in the first chair he argued with me the entire time my nails was jacked up!!!! I will never sit in his chair again I paid him then I went two doors down to get a new set this whole little strip of nail salons need more practice, they suck bad service horrible job!

Terrible ..Terrible Terrible . (Unclean ✌🏼)I got gel on hands and feet and started chipping and coming off the next day. Inexperienced nail techs. I use to come here in high school and loved it because the price was cheap but as you get older and realize the finer things you will see its cheaper with bad quality here. You are better off walking to the nail shop a few stores up then coming in here. Mark my words.

First let me say Ive been a customer here for about a year. What I get done to my nails and toes is generally simple/professional (no crazy designs or gems).I have also NEVER witnessed any type of new tools being used or sanitized. I either go to coco or lee whom by the way both have the worst attitudes ever. Not type of customer service skills at all but they do good nails so I put my headphones in or tune them out. I gave 2 stars because I really dislike the way all the workers talk about paying customers and raise their voices to the point of yelling at ppl and Ive even seen lee tell a woman to get out because she informed him of an error on one of her nails... soon as I find a better salon convenient to me I will not step foot in this place again.

I luhhhhh Luuhh Loveeee City Nails aka Ghetto Nail its hood but comfortable, Im from Philly and I been going here for 6yrs. Faithfully and Jon is the owner him and his team have my nails on point and everyone else n the city! If ya nails bling, points on perfect then u went to City Nails

They were disgustingly rude. She made me sit in acetone for an hour, for SNS nails, while attending to people who came after me. She tried to charge me for the take off but I wasnt having it cause I did it myself, she just gave me the bowl and acetone. She didnt clean off my previous nail color, as you could still see the yellow under the blue polish. I wanted chrome polish and by the time I got to my car, the chrome was gone. There was polish all over the borders of my nails and it appeared as though the polish didnt dry completely (because she was trying to rush me out the door). Later that same week, the gel polish already started to peel and the acrylic started to come up. She hurt my pinky finger and tried to say that it was already like that before I came, which is nonsense cause my finger never hurt previously. Overall it was a disgusting experience and I will NEVER go back no matter what.. PERIODT

If I could rate this with a 0 star I would. My nails came out to be so CRUSTY and THEY CHIPPED INSTANTLY. The service was horrible, I sat for an hour waiting to be helped. The man who did my nails pried my nails I had before of with an unused nail, this in which was very painful. After multiple times of me telling in it hurt he still didnt do anything about it. I will NEVER come back

My first visit. It was loud and Ghetto. Lots of babies, crying babies. But overall they do a pretty good job. Lee, Lee Lee, and Paul were busy so I let Dee (Male) do my nails. He did an ok job. But next time I will try out the Lees or Paul. I am going to try to go at a better time. Maybe when they first open.
