First time nail spa customer here. This place was a wonderful experience! Same day appointment saved me a wait in line. There are 3 combo tiers. I opted for the middle one, Peace. Miss Kim was gentle and had amazing hands! She helped me find a better nail gel product! Will be back.

I LOVED THE EXPERIENCE! Its my first time having a manicure and pedicure, and the experience was incredible. Everyone is friendly and helps you all the time. Hang Luu and Mai helped me today; they were awesome and really professional. Also, you have many designs available for you to choose from. I totally recommend it!💕

This is an honest perspective on this place after using them 5-6 times. I’ve been looking for a nail salon to go to regularly as I am very client facing so I need my nails done every 2-3 weeks. Price wise I think it’s in line with what I usually pay. The people are nice. And the location itself is convenient for someone living in the area.My main issue is constantly with the service on the manicures. My most recent visit left me with 4 cuts to my cuticles. They use nail grinding tools on your cuticles as a fast way to do them before taking super sharp cuticle clippers to your cuticles. I left there bleeding. Again. Every single manicure I have had there left me with some form of injury. The time before they used the grinding tool to remove my dip powder nails while I was getting a pedicure. I had to pull my hand away because my nail tech kept digging into the sides of my fingers or too far on my nail itself which really burned.I really wanted this place to work out and I’m disappointed. I hope this review opens the eyes of management in getting their staff to slow down and be careful.

I have been coming here for months now and I love it. Everyone is always so nice and they have great customer service. Plenty of colors to choose from and more. I got a pedicure and manicure and asked for this exact design. It is so hard to find salons that can actually do designs but Naomi did this free hand and its even better than the picture I asked for!!! MyDung did a perfect job on my pedicure. I walked in after a very dreadful service at another nail salon and the owner Mimi was extremely gracious to me. After waiting for about 15 minutes she assigned me to Kathy who then removed the dreadful nails. Kathy correctly filed down my cuticles and applied the dip powder/SNS. It is so beautiful and looks very natural. Kathy was professional and considerate. Mimi really felt bad for me because I had to pay almost triple the price to correct the mistake so she gave me a small discount. This will be my go to nail spot going forward. THANK YOU

Ive been going to Amity Nail Spa for a few months now. I didnt go to a specific person at first; everyone honestly does a great job. The past two times Ive gone, Ive requested Viktoria, as she is able to recreate beautiful designs like the one shown here. She is also very sweet and makes the salon visit feel like a luxury experience.Overall, the salon is very clean and well kept. I suggest making an appointment, as the salon does accept walk-ins, so it can get a bit busy. Also, if you are super concerned about adherence to COVID guidelines/the amount of people within the space, you should try to go during a weekday, as the traffic significantly increases in the evenings and on the weekend.

It’s been about a year ago since I last was here. I’ve since moved and Amity set the bar so high I cannot find any place with as great of quality work. I miss going here and my nail artist, Linda, was amazing! They also did my brows perfectly.

It was my first time, I got my Harmony pedicure from Mai, which is include warm scrub, leg mask, paraffin wax and hot towel. She was really cute, friendly and professional. She took her time. She wasn’t rush at all. I’ll come back for sure. THX MAI !!

I’ve been coming here for a year now and my nail technician never disappoints! Mia (one of my nail techs there) always does an amazing job. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. She always checks to make sure I like my nails before she proceeds with the rest of my manicure. They go above and beyond to make sure my nails are on point. Everyone there is super nice & has exceptional customer service! This is my go to nail place and I will always be a returning customer when I’m in the area. I highly recommend this nail salon!

I get the dipping power on my nails and had many poor experiences with my nails only lasting two weeks at best, cracking, etc., before I began going to Amity Nail. Now, my nails last much longer, and I only go to Amity Nail to get my nails redone! I would highly recommend this salon over all others in the area!

I will never visit this establishment again. They were BEYOND RUDE. Their nail tech cut my cuticles until they were bleeding. I came in for a nail fix because my nail came off completely in 2 days after they were done. They no longer had the original color I had so they said I had to pay $30 for a new color set or they would paint the one nail a different color. It wasn’t about the money it was about the experience.

I cannot speak more highly of Natalie at Amity Nails! I started going to her for Dip Powder a few months ago. Since then, I’ve moved an hour away; however, I will gladly make the drive as her artistry is reliable, consistent, and beautiful. She, among others at the salon, is now a friend, and I am a forever customer!

My biggest piece of advice going here is to ask questions, I was charged for things I didnt ask for and when I told them and showed them what I wrote on the sign in sheet, they basically called me a liar and I ended up paying $30 more than I had to. So make sure you ask if everything they do to you is apart of what you asked for.Still I really enjoyed the staff at this salon. Ive gone twice now and each time they treat me well. The first time I went, I got a SNS manicure, which was beautifully done and stayed nice for about a month. However it made my nails extremely weak, which brings us to my next visit which was finding a way to save my nails. That time around I just got a regular gel manicure and I definitely see and feel a difference in my nails. I got a pedicure on my first visit, and it was nicely done as well, lasted a few weeks and then starts chipping.

I am from out of town and I made an appointment on valentines day for a pedicure. We were seated and all was said was pick a color. We did not receive a price list or anything. The basic pedicure is not worth $32. The owner excuse was its busy today. It doesn’t matter how busy you get you should still show your customers prices and options. Also it is a small space and they had wayyyy too many people in there with covid restrictions. If I had to recommend this place its definitely a no.

The price could be a little more reasonable I think it was in the pricey side I ended up paying $120 for what I got done So I think it’s always best to check the price before you sit down and have anyone work on your nails.. I still love this place I think the technicians are very professional.. Phillip did my hands and Cindy did my toes they were both fantastic!! (:

Just moved to the area and love Amity! The staff are friendly, accommodating, and efficient. They have great scrubs, wax, and lotions for skin - loved the lavender scrub especially. I got a matching mani (gel)/pedi and will definitely be back again.

This was my first time going into the nail salon, got my nails done on Tuesday it’s only been 2 days and my nails look bad. I paid $51 the tip of my nail is a different color now and some of them are cracked. How does this happen!?? The lady who did my nails was super nice but I just can’t believe it only lasted me for 2 days this is crazy!!! Never going here again.

Super friendly staff and great service. I went with my daughter and they were so sweet. She got pampered with a free mani (they were slow) and nail design. The place is clean and there isnt that chemical smell other places have. The tools were sterilized and they use a disposable cover for the pedi water basin. Its definitely my new go-to place for nails.

I LOVE this salon. I have been going here for about a year now and will never go someplace else. I am an art teacher which means my hands get some heavy abuse on the daily which is why I always get the SNS dip. It makes my nails super hard and durable and they NEVER break. I go here to get my nails done about once a month and its only because my nails grow out but the polish itself is always in tact even after a month! Mimi is the owner and she is always super sweet and welcoming. She does such a fantastic job with my nails! I cant imagine going anywhere else!

I cut wings 11 and I get wings 12 because the girl who was going to do them to me was busy to take appointments if they will not be able to, I am very angry they have bad service I do not know because there will be spas if they do not keep appointments

Phillip was very friendly and patient. Had a clean, efficient experience. My nails looked good for about 5 days and then chipped. After a little bit over a week, the polish closest to my cuticles started to pull away from my nails. I thought spending $50 on dip powder wouldve lasted much longer. After two weeks, my nails just looked very messy. Eventually, the polish on my pointer finger just came right off and I had a bare nail.Never having gotten this done to my nails before, Id held the expectation that it would last like acrylics (which is what I went for, but was told by staff I did not want). Also, if you go in with any intention of getting regular polish instead or gel, know they will not let that happen!

Don’t let them rip you off. I chose to get a new acrylic set. I only chose this because it is always the cheapest option. A new set says $30 on the menu. They charged me $50 and said it’s for the gel. I said I didn’t get gel I got acrylic.. they said yeah but she put one layer of gel on... one layer of gel for $20? They clearly deceived me and I will not be going back ever again. It’s a shame because they seemed so sweet... and I would have been a loyal and returning customer had it not been for their dishonest business model. Make sure you ask a million questions and determine price before you sit down. I have never paid this much for an acrylic set in my life.

Mimi, the manger, was very attentive and reasonable with pricing. She went the extra mile to ensure I got what I wanted. Tiffani actually did my nails on her day off. Overall great experience and believe I have finally found my nail place.

This is the BEST nail salon in Arlington. It is extremely clean and the staff is exceptional. I was able to make an appointment within a day. They did a terrible job - a toddler could do better. I had to convince them to fix them. The girl doing my nails was so mean and unprofessional. She even used on her nails the file she was using on me without even sanitizing them.

Amity Nails is by far the best nail salon in the Arlington/DC hour. So much so that when I used to live in Richmond, VA and had to work in Arlington I would stop there every time. It was worth the wait! Luckily I moved to Arlington about 1 year ago and have faithfully frequented the shop every 2 weeks. My nails are stronger, healthier, and I get compliments every time. 6 of my work colleagues have came to the shop and fell in love with the service and aesthetics.The owner Mimi and her family are sincere and genuine people who ensure the best service is delivered and that you are taken care of. Their nail technicians are held to a high standard and Mimi walks around to observe that you are satisfied. It’s a MUST! Go and try it once...you’ll be just as faithful 🥰💅🏾

This is my second time coming to this nail salon, it’s overpriced and I really think they don’t care for African-Americans ppl. One of the ladies messed my nails up and when I return to get my nails fixed the owner had an attitude to the point where she had to look on the camera to see if I really came in that day. I’m a single mother of three and for me to pay $50 just to get my nails done It should be better customer service. I would never go back again

Tiffany did a great job on my SNS dip manicure - shape/length is exactly how I wanted and the dip is thin/lightweight. She also put in extra time to make sure she got all my cuticles. Ive been coming here for almost 6 months staff is VERY friendly and give GREAT Customer Services. It can get very busy at times thats why I would recommend to schedule an appointment. My Mother and Aunt, and Cousin and also my Grandparents come here as well. They love the atmosphere as well. I was looking for a local place to get an acrylic fill and a gel polish change and Amity had great reviews. I had a 2 Pm appointment and had to wait for a bit because they were running behind but Mimi was very apologetic and communicative while I waited. My nail tech Yvonne was amazing! I didn’t even realize my prior nails were bad until she had fixed them. She took her time, was meticulous in execution, and is super talented with nail art. Wasn’t even planning on getting a design until she suggested it. Love my nails and will definitely be a regular of Yvonne. All the women seemed super nice and prices were fair.

My pedicure turned out great. My manicure was nicely shaped but my polish job was pretty bad. Streaks and brush marks are very visible and you can see where one coat starts and one coat ends. Could have been worse I guess but with all these great reviews I was expecting better.

I don’t go get my nails done often but sometimes I go as a form of self care. I went to this place because of the reviews. However, this experience was very disappointing. The technician who did my pedicure was rushing me the entire time. They rushed me into the chair before I could pick out a color and when I asked her to let me see which color I liked prior to her painting all of my toes - she got very snappy and disrespectful. I hate when you go somewhere to pay your money and people are unnecessarily rude, rush you, and have a complete disregard for you as a person. The shop was no where busy, it wasn’t as if she had other clients to tend to - she was just mean. I nicely requested for her patience and kindness but she just further got an attitude. I will not be back again, nor will I recommend others to do the same. I came simply to relax and treat myself for the first time in a while - but instead I was met with disrespect. All of this while I watched as other clients were served a lot better than I was.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish! The receptionist, Lena, greeted me with a warm smile and immediately showed me to my pedicure station. She offered me a few options for beverages (I recommend the Ginger Peach tea). Mimi, my nail technician and Amitys co-owner, was very lovely and welcoming. The spa is very clean and they take great care in their sanitation process. I recommend the Spa pedicure. Amity Nail Salon is a much needed addition to the Columbia Pike corridor. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Im already my next visit. Thank you, Amity!

Staff is very attentive and courteous.They offer you water.The bad:I left with two bleeding cuticles, so instead of showing off my freshly manicurednails for the next few days, I’ll be walking around with bandaged fingers and praying not to get an infection.I won’t be back.

(Took me nearly 10m to find a close enough color I wanted) Not only was she patient but thorough, professional, kind & mindful of my nails how I exactly wanted. Being a hair artist myself she mirrored the artistic touch & precision on my nails & service entirely. Def go check her out & the rest of the staff. They all were very helpful!

I have been coming here since the store opened and usually get a gel mani. My manicure will last WEEKS longer than other locations and the staff is always so great. I stopped in today after they had closed and Mimi still welcomed me and made the time to give me a manicure personally after I had gotten engaged. A true local small business that puts heart into their business! Highly recommend :)

Decently priced, $2 less than my normal spot in Ballston but it was super rushed. I was out of there in 20 min for a gel mani. Barely any cuticle care and half of one of my nails isnt painted. Parafin dip included but the parafin was like chunky and nearly empty so it didnt even cover my full hand (which is the dry part!)

Wow, I am so beyond impressed with this place. I went in there thinking nail salons were worthless now days. They never take their time any more, but seriously, you need to check this place out. It was SO clean and beautiful. The technicians were so incredibly friendly. They took their time. They were so perfect with everyone, great massages. Please check this place out. Found a gem in Sophia. Shes attentive, thorough, funny and understands the designs and color schemes I want. The salon is very clean and busy but the wait isnt long if you dont have an appointment.

I really wanted to like this place. They were very nice, and they were very accommodating for my boyfriend and I as walk-ins for a mani/pedi, we did not wait longer than 5 minutes. That is where the problems begin, during a pedicure the beautician hurt me several times. She cut my cuticles on 3 different toes to the point of bleeding. When massaging the lotion in, it was like she was using all of her weight and it was very painful for my legs and feet. She also scrubbed so hard that she took off some skin by my big toe that is excruciating when I walk with shoes covering it. She messed up two toes when putting the flip-flops and she said she would correct them, which never happened. When we got to the manicure, she seemed rushed and again cut my cuticles to the point of bleeding on 4 nails, but all of them hurt. Not even twelve hours after I got them done, they’ve already starting chipping. Though she kept apologizing, she was very rough and seemed to be rushing the whole time. Unfortunately I won’t be returning due to my feet and hands hurting and having messed up nails before I even left.

My go to salon now for regular manicure. Costs $18While its rather basic (no free paraffin, no drinks), the mani lasts for over a week. Expect wait during weekends so calling ahead to make reservation is best.

I have been going to this nail salon for a year and a half now. What can I say besides they do an AMAZING job! I see Hailey as my nail tech and I get compliments everywhere I go on my nails. I get the SNS dip powder and it really has done wonders for my nails! Hailey makes sure that it is not to thick (I hate when its thick) the shape of my nails are perfect, every nail is the same length, she has never once hurt me or made me bleed which I have experienced at other salons. They also dip your hands in wax and give a great massage at the end :) Mimi the owner is amazing, she monitors everything. They offer you a drink when you come in and are truly accommodating! Since I have been going there for a year + I have been with a lot of the nail techs there and you can really go to anyone because they are all great (I am just biased cuz I love Hailey) I would highly recommend and have sent many people here.
