Holly is an artist. Im fairly new to the nail game, my aversion has been how bulky & fake they look. My only request from Holly is that they look natural & shes come through. Also, she gives the BEST pedicures & my eyebrows are perfect. I love that shes detail oriented & takes her time. The pics posted are a fresh fill & eyebrow, but my toes are about 2.5 weeks old... still look good tho! Overall, I love this shop, everyone is nice.

Broooooo first time client and will return for Ann 😍 I got an acrylic powder glitter set with gel top coat and paid $27. She carefully applied acrylic (like you should!) and used the thin needle drill bit to clean up underneath AND not once cut me. I might be a little too enthusiastic but i just think she did a great job, its just my last experience was sloppy and painful and that was a nail salon in Irving.

Let me star off by saying how much I struggled to find a nail salon that opens at 9 am near me. This gem gets my nails done early in the morning so I can have the rest of the day set. I got a full set and a pedicure. Good quality, environment was clean and both sisters did not rush to finish. Definitely earned a loyal customer, already sent my mom to them as well! :)

I took a picture of a design I wanted done on my nails. We had to compromise but came up with a beautiful set of nails. Kelly did my nails and she is very professional and very friendly, I will be using this nail salon from now on.

I finally found a place that does my nails the way l like. Since I moved back here to Texas from Arizona.Im getting nothing but compliments and how pretty my nails are that hasnt happened since I moved here Ive also sent my sister there and shes getting the same kind of compliments thank you Star Nails for listening and doing an awesome job! I love coming here! Ann has been doing my nails since 2009 and I love her to the moon and back! Shes very patient and an expert at what she does. I love all the ladies! But Ann takes really good care of me everytime I go there! Customer service if excellent with all the workers!

I love coming here! Sometimes you go to nail salons and the ladies simply do not want to fix or do what you ask them to but Kelly is not like that at all. She is funny and sweet. This is a family owned business; her mom and twin sister also do a great job. Even though they do walk ins they tend to be pretty busy so try to call to schedule an appointment always. They’re not overpriced and they treat you right. I highly recommend this place.

Quoted me one price for waxing. When I went in to get the service the price doubled. Extremely rude speaking in their native language as if I couldn’t understand their otter forms of communication. I will never go to this place again. Headed to European Nails to get superb customer service like I should have in the first place. I just thought since this place was closer I would give it a try. Called before I came the lady was nice on the phone. When I got here Tony did my nails just like I wanted .It was my first time getting pointy nails.He was patient and had good conversation.We are close in age .Haha Im older 1 year.Over all they seem nice. At least Tony for sure.

Came here Thursday for a French tip set. They were done poorly by Monday I had already had a nail lifting and they looked as if I had had them for a coupling weeks. Came back today to get corrected, they didn’t replace the nail only filed down and put acrylic over it and simply put oil on the rest of them to hide the white corners. I used to come here for years, now I will never be back. Definitely have fallen off.

First time visiting Star Nails and my technician Ann, going on the third week of my gel manicure and they still look great! will go back again.

People were friendly and while they were busy it was eorth the wait. My nails look great. Pedicure was relaxing and not over priced

Here to edit my last review.Try this shop again and rude lady is gone. There is only 1 guy working here and that makes him unique. He doesnt rush. He rarely speaks because he wants to focus on his work, I can tell, for sure.

Nice people, poor results.I got a basic manicure Saturday, had a pleasant enough time getting it done, but it is chipping from the sides on Monday! I have my nails cut to the quick due to my work, I dont pick at them or use chemicals, so they should not be chipping! How cheap of polish are they using? Not worth the $14.

Amazing! Amy did a wonderful job,Ive had toenail surgery in the past which made my big toenail look really small,She added an acrylic overlay which made them look like Id never had any of the nail removed. I feel so much more confident wearing sandals! Ive been to other places in the past to try an achieve the same thing and they all failed miserably! Ill never go anywhere else ever again!

I love my nail place and my nail lady Kelly and everyone there. It is a family owned business. I have been going there a very long time! Kelly and her twin sister speak perfect English, they are hardworking and very good workers. They will do whatever they can to fit you in with no appt but if you really have a certain day and time you need to come, just call and make an appt. Prices are good, my nails are always nice, Im always comfortable there, I just love it!! I would not go anywhere else!!! My home away from home!

The guy who did my nails did pretty good. Much better than other places. However when I was set down to put my nails under the light, I was forgotten there. I wasnt told how long to sit there so I waited for someone to tell me Im done. I was there for almost an hour before I finally asked when I could go.

I came in for a new set and polish change on my feet and my daughter got a polish on hands and feet. My service was Terrible she didnt take off my old nails like I asked saying my nails were fine then mistakenly cut my square nails to coffins nails I didnt ask for coffins nails but she charge me for them after she tried correcting them. Im not happy with the service at all it wasnt relaxing she kept telling me to watch TV and not her🤔😌😣😒 never will I come here again.

I wouldnt never ever come back to this place they close at 6pm I arrived at 510 pm they wouldnt service me... bc they was full I sat for 20 mins before they told me this an ask me to come back tomorrow I said hell nah I wont... that is no way to treat a patron if Im there way before you close you supposed to service me.. Im telling you, this place is the ONLY place that has ever waxed my eyebrows correctly. It may not be the fanciest place in town, but they have some of the best prices in town and their service is great! I drive 25 minutes out of my way to get my eyebrows and nails done here all the time. Totally worth it!

Got a full acrylic set and a pedicure. both came out AMAZING and lasted a good while. they take their time and give great detail. they also give student discounts.

Ive had my nails done in various salons, but they got my business for good! I got my nails done just like I wanted and my little girl got her nails painted. They are pretty busy, but the wait is worth it.

Service Terrible tech did not do what I asked she didnt want to redo my full set I only wanted to get a new set take off old set with a polish change on feet. She cut my nails with drill on accident so then shes like Ill just do the coffins nails for you your gonna like it 😣😒🤔 how you going to tell me what Ill like furthermore I didnt ask for coffins nails. So the man who works there was so difficult to work with! the nail was messed up and we asked him to fix and he just refused too then didn’t finish doing the nails! the first time i went was okay but i’m never going again! try for yourself if you don’t believe me....

I went in to get a random repair and I guess bc I didn’t get the original full set done there it was a big issue. They started talking and since I only speak English I was unaware of what they were saying. With the exception of one shaking her head and said no. No one wanted to do the repair finally after them laughing and going back and forth after 5 minutes one lady decided to assist. Yes I knew they wouldn’t have they exact color that I had on but that’s what I wanted and I was spending my money so at the end of the day I will never be going back to this shop again

I have my go to girl here! She is the only one I trust with my ingrown. Unfortunately my toenail grows down and I never have to explain what to do. She just gets me. I drive across town with at least 15 shops around me just to come to Star!

Worst nail salon ever PLEASE READ!!!So i went to this nail salon with sister and I was given 2 giftcards to this salon. Right when i walked in and they saw the to giftcards in my hands they were immediately rude and started to rush me into what i wanted to get done and the color and so much more. So while being rushed (mind you that it wasnt packed inside so there was no need go to rush)i decided that i would do the gel polish full set and maybe later i would do a pedicure if i had enough money left in the cards. So when i got im the chair the lady started off being super aggressive with my hands pullong them and basically man handling them at one point i got a cramp in my thumb and she kept hitting my hand telling me to loosen up. Then she starts to put on the fake nail and acrylic so normally before any of this is done the cuticle is taken off but not this case she started but taking a drill and cutting them off (im no nail expert but dont you push back your cuticle then take little nail clipper like things to thake them off?) So she started on my left hand and i kept feeling pain and i was thinking maybe it was just her accidentally pinching me but thay was not the case she was cutting off my cuticle but also drilling into my skin above!!!. So still optimistic im like maybe it was just a bad run NOPE she did on my other hand also but even worst!!!!! On my pointer finger she atleast cut into 3 layers of my skin using the drill bit. So of course in pain i pull away and im like your cutting me and it hurts and she goes yes when youre nails havent been done in a while this is what happens to youre cuticle ummm miss no thats not whats supposed to happen so she apologize while on my other fingers still nicking me! [I forgot to mention that she wasnt even paying any mind to my nails she was CONSTANTLY looking over at her co-workers and talking to them in there language] so she see that im bleedimg an takes this weird blue stuff with Japanese or some language on it and puts it on my cuts let me tell you it burned like the walls of hell so i wash my hands and now its time for the gel polish (also ive never done gel polish so this is completely new to me) so she puts on the first coat and tells me to put my hands under the light so i do and she goes no and im like huh? So she lifts it up an starts pointing (there was a huge language barrier also) and she was pointing to a section of the lamp my hands where supposed to be at so i was like im sorry and puts my hand there that still was not good enough for her so she gets and attiude and i cant understand her so im like can you say thay again and you get the point so 3 coats later and alot of huffing and puffing from her end we were done now im in alot of pain from thoes cut earlier beacuse she put gel polish on most of the cuts so were done and she gets out a spray bottle i was thinking it was water to flush out the blood and gel residue but as she sprayed it i looked and in the back it was labled ALCOHOL so you already kmow that it burned really bad so after that she aggressively rubs some oil onto my hands (right into my cuts) so i asked if i can wash my hands i get back to my sister and asked if i were still going to do a pedicure and i was like no no no! So we asked if we could take the rest of the money off the card and just buy something else with it the lady said no and was like you can either give the card away to someone else or throw it away so lesson learnedDO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON EVER!!!!!!!
