I was so happy to find a black owned nail shop but I’m disappointed with the quality of work.1. 1st appointment had to take 7/10 nails off because they were applied awfully crooked2. Booked a fill in! I’m used to being able to drill down and apply a different colored acrylic etc, but was told their fill in only included literally a fill in of the same acrylic used to the bottom portion of the nail:WHO WANTS THE SAME EXACT NAILS THEY CAME WITH FOR ALMOST THE SAMR PRICE OF A FULL SET? To top it off the fill in wasn’t blended well. you can see where it was filled vs the initial full set3. The design I had previously was left on my nail and tech attempted to cover it up with a web design vs cleaning the nail completely of previous art4. I was unexpectedly charged $7 for a nail repair I insisted I didn’t want ( the crack could’ve been glued and topped with acrylic) nor was I advised that thief suggestion would come with an up charge. To top it off the repair was crooked and extremely thin compared to my other nails. I would’ve preferred the crack at this point!5. My fill lasted a literal week before the nails started to lift from my nail bed…what a waste!I wanted so bad to call this my new nail shop but I can’t deal!! Staff was nice, scenery was pretty but the work is not quality especially for the price you pay! Waste of my money ! I hope one day they get it right !

The ladies take their time & did my nails perfectly. Im able to use my hands with long nails & my nails dont come detached.

A good black owned nail salon. Theyre professional and friendly, but a bit pricey. I do believe they can come down on their prices. They experience is cool, but not mind blowing for the price. 30+ dollars on a fill and fix of 1 nail. Thats without gel polish.

I never do this but....They couldnt have named this spot any better. My first visit and I felt comfortable, relaxed, and listened to. The music is everything and really gives good vibes. The TV on channels that are actually watched in your home.The drink choices... More than any other nail salon Ive been to. Love it!!!

Overall experience at the shop was great, wonderful atmosphere friendly. I loved my nails but within a couple days they started to lift and as of today I’ve had to glue them back on because they broke off. My thumb broke off while I was out so I couldn’t glue it back on but all my nails are lifting. It’s disappointing cuz I enjoyed this place and for the price I paid I shouldn’t have lifting within the first week

I had my first experience with Culture Nail bar and it was absolutely amazing. I had the pleasure of having Sierra as my nail tech and she did a wonderful job on my pedicure as well as my nails. She took her time and the quality of work is outstanding. I definitely will be returning!

This place is exceptional black owned feels like home feels like royal!! I got the royal pedicure everyone was so welcoming helpful like a true family love the staff! They also have a scent bar that you can get homemade products and crystals!! Love this place definitely my nail spa when I’m in Dallas!!

While the shop itself is nice, the phrase “everything that glitters ain’t gold” is certainly true. In the second week of getting a dip American-look set, as pictured below, the dip has chipped and come off. This has NEVER ever happened to me when I went to other places. When I sent the shop the images via social media, I was told to call the store. Why would I have to call you when I’ve supplied images that depict exactly what the problem is? The quality is subpar, and I should’ve peeped that when I was in the store as the lady next to me had to come sit back down after paying because her polish and designs had already come off by the time she paid. The person who did my nails, “Nikki,” did not even look presentable in the first place. That was strike one. And then she made a point to answer a face time call from her Black boyfriend while doing my nails. That’s highly unprofessional. You don’t have to prove that you’re “down.” Working in a Black salon does not mean you don’t have to be professional. I was highly disappointed because I live 30 minutes away. I literally drove out there to support a Black business and I refuse to drive back. I will just continue to go where the prices actually match the service and the quality.

I love the component that next door is the owners daughter business; I have become a loyal supporter of her candles! They are so awesome. Come support two Black Woman Owned Businesses in one trip.

I really enjoyed a relaxing experience today! Upon entrance you are asked to wash your hands, then complete a check in sheet and select your colors. Next Chrissy lead me to the pedicure area for a very detailed Imperial pedicure. She pays attention to detail and took her time to make sure my feet were smooth. I highly recommend this location!

This was first experience at Culture Nail Bar. Easy online booking for my pedicure. I booked first available for my 10 am appt and her name was Kandi. Upon arrival they direct you to wash your hands-I love this COVID. I waited about 7-8 minutes while she ‘got ready’ for me. She was professional, courteous and had just the right amount of conversation. I wanted glitter added to my big toes and she picked 2 for me to choose from. Once finished I sat under ultraviolet light for 10 mins and she sprayed them with quick dry also. Next morning the glitter polish was coming off of my big toes:(. I called and scheduled for Kandi to repair. She did so without complaining or attitude. She actually said ‘thank you for giving me the opportunity to make it right!’ I will be back!

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon. Everyone is so welcoming and very very professional. Ive worked with Caree and Kristina and I have never been dissatisfied with the outcome. The prices are reasonable and the staff really cares about the costumer experience. If you havent gone, GO.

Atmosphere- I like the royal look. Drinks offered. I didnt take one though. I didnt like how close the nail tech desks were (not because of covid issues, just need space to walk by the person behind you). Music playing at a balanced volume. Very clean!They advertised that walk-ins were welcome, I went as soon as they opened on a Friday morning. As soon as I finished filling out the form stating what I wanted, they seated me with a nice young lady.She placed my hands in a bowl of polish remover (I think) to remove my dip nails. Took a good while longer than soaking each nail individually with foil. After it was off she did nail prep on my cuticles. Cool. Started the new dip. She didnt keep going from finger to finger in the same order so that there were the same amount of layers. She took forever so when she was finally done I was ready to go! Color was great but my dip nails are so lumpy, thick, and unevenly shaped. Its been almost 2 weeks so the more they grow out, the worse they look. 7 fingers have cuticles that are peeling back and it hurts like paper cuts.I think I was stuck with a beginner nail tech since I was a walk-in. Service provided was not worth the amount I paid for sure. I know they need to work on people to gain experience so the price should reflect that. Or give customers the option to wait for someone else/leave. Lesson learned.Since I really want to support a B.O.B I will keep trying for an appointment I guess...until then Im going elsewhere.

Just relocated back to Texas and discovered Culture Nail Bar. My service was a Pedicure. Check in was a breeze as we had appointments (no walk-in) means you will have the appointment time you choose so there was not a wait time. I was presented with a menu to select services interested in after completing the short form (e.g., name, service, nail color, scent of foot soak, curtesy beverage etc). The form was given to the staff providing the pedicure. I relaxed in the massage chair while staff engaged me on any specific instructions prior to proceeding with services. I enjoy Cultures atmosphere and will definitely be back to pamper myself. Awesome experience and great getting to meet the owner who made this inviting atmosphere upscale and affordable at the same time.

This was my first time trying a new nail salon since Covid! It was okay not worth the money they are over priced and they use so much dipping powder. My nails are so heavy! I was so disappointed and my nails are already turning brown I got the white dipping powder. The massage chairs did not massage well it was just like shaking. On my Pedicure no foot massage or beating of the legs! What I’m use to and no hand massage! For the price that I paid! I will not be going back! And they ARE SO SLOWWW our appointments where at 6pm we didn’t leave until 9pm!

First time coming will not be the last! Atmosphere is very laid back, the decor is on point very luxe. Oh and the music. Omg I LOVE MUSIC kept me entertained...My techs paid so much attention to detail...I love it!!!!

I wish I could post a picture of my nails. Very disappointed. I got them done Sunday and here it is one day later and four nails have come off. I’m really sad that I have to pay to get my nails redone right now. I have things I have to do that prevent me from going back up there to make them re-do. Just disappointed

I love this nail salon. The atmosphere is upscale, professional and my mani/pedi is always on point. The complimentary drinks are an added bonus. I had a spiked hot chocolate during the winter months and a margarita during the summer. I’ll keep coming back as long as they are open!

Went yesterday July 4th, it was nice clean, had a relaxing vibe going, great music, and friendly staff. One of the owners made sure I was taken care of once I walked through the door, till the time I left. She would ask if I was okay, did I need something else to drink just a friendly vibe. She even sat and talked with customers. I had my nails done by Ashley, shes a sweet young lady with good vibes going. She was easy to have a conversation with, we talked about family life, life plans, etc... before she was even done with my nails I was already asking how do I book my next appointment Im so glad I looked at the updated black owned nail shops list on yelp. Drove 45mins to support a BLACK BUSINESS. I waited 30mins in the parking lot just to be one of the 1st serviced 1st I was NOT greeted HELLO HOW ARE YOU NOTHING Got in there filled out paperwork was asked how I wanted my nails what kind of pedicure I wanted then was told all nail techs were booked and I could come back tomorrow. Needless to say I drove 45mins to support you all, Ill pass and will never return. Oh and your sign says walk ins welcome, you might want to change that because I definitely did not feel the welcome.

What a waste of money. I spent $125 for a mani & pedi just to turn around and go to another nail shop to fix the mess the tech at Culture created. I will not return to this shop.

I went in for a new acrylic overlay and was in for a treat. The atmosphere is amazing and while I didnt have a drink, it was offered by the young lady at the front desk and my nail tech. Caree did an amazing job and was very professional attentive. She made genuine conversation and was warm and friendly. I could tell that she wasnt just talking to be fake. I got so many compliments on an overlay bc of how well she did my nails. I have found my nail salon and nail tech finally. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Also Bee You Scent Bar next door will make for a nice trip after afterwards to get a homemade body scrub, lotion, candles or whatever. For some reason the one nail tech that, from what I experienced, has never done nails outside of school. I felt like a guinea pig for her learning purposes. She has yet to master getting the acrylic bead correctly & cannot shape the bead once its on your nail causing the n a il to look lop sided & dented. The acrylic was applied so thin, you could see light through the b ail when you hold your hand up, ridiculous. I asked for medium length, coffin nails w/ marble design & didnt get that. It took her an hour & a half to apply tips & 20min of that was spent trying to do ombre instead on one nail.

Way to over priced, I went in to get my nails removed and they charged me $20 to remove them, they didn’t even provide a clear coat at the end.
