Nick is an excellent repairman! He has a great personality. He is a hard worker. He knows the minute he arrives what the problem is and efficiently repairs the problem. He is worth his weight in gold. We originally made an appointment for Stan’s to come out, but cancelled as we decided to just buy a new fridge. We went shopping and found no new ones in stock until November. So with egg on my face, called Stan’s and rescheduled. He fixed problem in one hour and saved us about $3,000!

These people blew us off completely the first day that they said they would come out, no phone call or update, we had to chase them down by phone.On the second scheduled day (and oh by the way you have to wait the whole day on them because they refuse you a time) they had us as #6 in line, which I find pretty rude considering the first blow off but ok. They didn’t show up until the very end of the day, after we had to take our dog to a vet appointment. They required a card number to show up with out us there, which we would have found totally acceptable had they fixed the washer and dryer. They guy showed up for 5 minutes and left according to our tenant, and said it was good. IF IT WAS GOOD WE WOULDNT HAVE CALLED!!! So the washer and dryer are still broken and they charged us. Worst customer service I have ever had in my life. Total trash company.

I can NOT believe the experience I just had with this company. Lowes gave them as a reference and I’ll be calling them next to let them know how it went. First there was some confusion as to the price for the technician to do a diagnostic on my oven. I don’t feel like things were explained correctly. They say it’s all my fault and I didn’t understand. The guy came and saw the 2 parts that were needed and I said ok, I can see that. He wasn’t the problem at all! He had a very calm demeanor and was respectful. When I was told a different price by him for him coming out, I called the office and yes was a bit upset. Not enough for them to just scrap my paperwork and say nothing at all to me. I told (a differently lady this time) her that things hadn’t been clear and hopefully in the future things would be explained better. She came back with well I’m sorry you didn’t understand lol I was like wow, way to put it all back on me. Before the guy left I made sure of what was gonna happen next. That he’d go back and find price of items and they’d let me know what was gonna happen. He said yes. I never got a phone call. Finally called today and after 9 minutes of back and forth and a parting shot from her, she hung up on me. She said they had the ‘impression’ I didn’t want to continue. How is that good practice for a business to just assume a costumer doesn’t want to go forward and then throw their paperwork away? (was told that’s what they did the same day the guy came out here) I never said anything about not going forward! One person (grandma) took it upon herself to decide what I wanted and then ran with it. Despite the small original confusion, I was still going to work with them. I wouldn’t have let a small thing like that stop me from working with company. After today though (very unpleasant and unprofessional conversation) I’m absolutely done with them. I don’t care if I have to have an anchorage company come out.

Tech didnt know what he was talking about. Charged for service to come off but had know clue what was wrong. After doing some research online I fixed the problem myself. DONT USE THE COMPANY.

I feel that I need to review these folks! They deserve a round of applause!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼They were extremely responsive when I needed a repair to my washer. Being without a washer and a house full of kids is not fun!! Ryan, the technician was extremely professional and went above and beyond his service. He was in my home for not more than 30 minutes. Diagnosed the issue and had the part in his van to repair it immediately. He also wrote me a long list of helpful hints and tips to save me money and keep my washer in pristine running condition. Thank you Stans appliance!

What a joke! Called about my refrigerator, the lady at the desk ask me what the issue was, I told her the fan was running but that the fridge was only at room temperature. She asked for the serial number, but I was driving at the time and she told me to call back by 5pm so they could get me scheduled for the next day. I got busy with work and didnt call back that day. The next day, Nick called and said he would be at my house in 15 minutes. I told him I never called back with the serial number and he said it was ok, he could look it up once he got to my house. My husband was working from home so we allowed Nick to go ahead and come over. Nick was there for maybe 45 minutes, told my husband it was the compressor or the drip valve, gave him a referral, for someone who could actually do the work, collected $110 and left. I called Nick, no answer, no voicemail set up, so I text and never received a call back. I called Jeff, the referral and got Lisa. I told her I had been given their number from Nick and she asked what issues I was having with my fridge. I said you havent spoken to Nick already? She said no, but she could call him and I said well he isnt answering and why wouldnt he have already called you and let you know what the problem is? She said they dont normally do that, but she could. I told her I would call her back after I figured out what was going on at Stans. Called Stans and the lady at the desk was super rude and condescending. I said why was I given a referral when I called for you all to fix my fridge? She said there are several things they CANT fix. I said well you all are the only ones who know that. Why would I pay you, when I could pay someone ONCE and get all the work done? Plus I told you what issue I was having and you knew you couldnt fix it then! Yet they still collected money and did nothing! When I called the lady out, she told me to shut my mouths times before hanging up on me. Ill never give Stans my business, and will make sure everyone I know doesnt either. Unbelievable!

We have used Stans Appliance going on 9 years now. We have benefited from their years of experience in this industry. We have been impressed every time weve used Stans. Service on multiple washers, multiple dishwashers, and a refrigerator, as well as getting parts for us when we could fix things ourselves, Stans has provided excellent service. Dave has been great, so I request him. But the last time Dave was already scheduled so we got Ryan...and he was stellar as well! I now call Stans before I buy any new appliance to get their recommendation on what brand to buy. Thank you, Stans!

Didnt remove shoes or put shoe coverings on in a carpeted house. Very disappointed. However they did apologize and next time they came out shoes were removed and they resolved the issue with our dishwasher nicely.

Thanks to Stan’s, I quickly fixed my dryer on my own! I bought a heating element for my Maytag dryer from Stan’s, and was surprised that they actually had the part already in stock. The lady was helpful and quick to respond to my questions. The other appliance parts store in Palmer also had the part, but it was $10 more. Reliable Appliances in Anchorage failed to call me back with my inquiries, and they just didn’t have a way to receive photos of another part that I initially thought I needed.

I originally scheduled an appointment with Reliable appliance however I also called Stans appliance. After speaking with the receptionist she was super nice and pleasant I canceled with reliable and scheduled for Tuesday which was 5 days away. I took the day off of work. I called to confirm my appt on Tuesday morning to be told, nope you are on for Wednesday. She was rude, unappologetic and could not have cared less. Regardless of whose error it was she could have been a little more apologetic and accommodating and at least attempted to make it right. Customer service is non existent anymore. Obviously I should have stayed with reliable appliances. Calling them now.

Service was timely and Amazing. The only reason for the less than 5 stars was the $100 initial call-out fee. Other than that, the Tech was great, the repair was reasonable, the Appliance is working GREAT! I would recommend these guys to everyone.

Ordering was easy. However I did not receive a call when the part came in and there was a miscommunication in pricing. When calling back to discuss Allison was very rude and treated me as though I was an idiot calling me girlfriend and giving me all these stories on how great she is. Very very poor customer service and very poorly handled by them.Dave the technician was great.Will not be using them again and do not recommend

The woman at the desk was very combative with attitude for the first several minutes. I asked her why and she caught herself and became very nice. So, I guess dont be put off. She probably deals with know it alls and is defensive. She is, however, very knowledgeable about her trade and she walked me through my problem like a pro. Id go back, but hope I dont have to!
