It felt like he took me under his wing, and that’s not a level of service I’m used to.Now, let’s get into the service.We were able to get my car insured and the contract finalized within 24 hours flat! He gathered all the information needed, set expectations, and came back early the next day with an email with some great options, then shortly after a phone call to check in to see how I felt. When my husband and I chose to move to the Pacific Northwest from Boise Idaho, we didnt know what to expect insurance wise. Enter Evergreen insurance! They were knowledgeable and got our auto policy to start ASAP like we needed.Now the reason for the one star: We were buying a house, which is stressful as it is, and we made our agent aware as soon as we had an accepted offer. We let him know we would be needing homeowners insurance. He asked roughly when we were closing and I had no idea so I told him plus or minus 30 days approximately. Then a week went by and I didnt hear from him. Two weeks and no word on the homeowners insurance quote. Our lender began politely leaning on us to get at least a quote. So we leaned a little on our agent and he asked if our lender could send us a binder request before he would get it to us. Now for those who dont know much about insurance, you dont make the binder till you have eyes on policy. This is what our lender told us after we relayed the request.So naturally we went with someone who would give us a quote first.So we called to cancel our car insurance through them and were told they would be sending an email to confirm the cancellation. We didnt get it. So we called again and we were hung up upon. So we called back and went straight to voice mail at 3:45pm. So luckily we did a Google search and found out we live right down the road from them. So my husband walked down there and was able to cancel.Bottom line, I have no idea where these good reviews are coming from

Moved out to Washington recently and had trouble finding an insurance agent that really cared enough to ask questions and get to know me. Derek from Evergreen couldnt have been better. I self-managed my insurance for a decade, through online portals with the big ones, and never saw the need for an insurance agent. Within a week of contacting Evergreen, I have a much cheaper plan with much better coverage than anything I was able to find for myself, and Patrick took the time to clearly explain all of the terms and hidden ramifications of complex policies to make sure I was making informed decisions. If I had this all to do over again, Id sign up with Evergreen from the jump and skip the headaches of comparing online portals and talking to 1-800 numbers to try and figure it out myself. Strongly recommend you do the same, at least to get a quote and see what its like having someone break things down for you and answer all your insurance questions.

I was unsure of where to go switching to my own insurance from my parents so I decided to go through evergreen and was so happy I did. I ended up getting Keith who is by far the most responsive and professional person I’ve ever worked with. Evergreen is a great local business for all your insurance needs. I confess to thinking doing it myself would be best (online), but not only did I get 5-star service from the folks at the office -- but I saved over auto-insurance costs from another company I had for years (you know... they guys with the Lizard?).
