John and Alex the leasing managers are absolutely amazing. They always greet you, are on top of any of the few minor issues we’ve had (sink clogged blah blah) and we always feel attended for. The mai tends staff is very very sweet as well. The building itself is AMAZING! It’s modern but homey, our 1 bedroom office is the perfect layout. We feel comfortable entertaining big groups here, and If our apt isn’t large enough there’s a huge amenity room with pool, ping pong table, fridge, grill, fire pits, cornhole and more! We’ll be staying until we find our forever home.

Nice apartments with the most square footage in the area for the price! The apartments are new and updated with lots of natural light and some great views. The staff is very friendly and maintenance is fairly quick and helpful.Decent amenities, although it doesn’t have as much as some other new apartment buildings in the area. Sense of community is lacking a bit, even though there are occasional get-togethers and events hosted and put together by the staff. Maybe some more of those would help?Overall, we’ve had a pretty good experience here our first few months! Would definitely recommend you schedule a tour it and check it out!

AJ and crew were very helpful with my complicated cross country move in process. Actual move in day went without a hitch! Being in Florida I would have liked to have viewed an accurate floor plan prior to selection as online floor plans are very generic and do not represent actual apartment layout. That said I am generally happy with what I ended up with. Quiet unit with lots of light!

Recently Green Leaf has undergone new management and I have seen a huge improvement in our home. They have gotten our hot tubs back up and running and we frequently are getting landscaping updated around the apartment. I am proud to live here and its awesome location. Greenleaf being located on Main st gives you access to all sorts of shops and breweries that downtown has to offer. I would 10/10 recommend this apartment to a friend or stranger interested. My 2 complaints are after a year of living here they are raising our rent quite a bit. My fiancé and I want to stay here but with financial hardships that covid has brought us we may have to move out. If we could make an agreement with GL as far as rent goes we will stay! The other problem is that because our glass patio has not been cleaned in so long there is quite a bit of calcium buildup, I have tried everything under the sun and they hired cleaners but unfortunately the patio glass is quite dirty still. Otherwise an awesome place to be!!

The layout of the Apts is really smart and feels roomy. Modern more efficient heating and AC. They’re well designed. Everything I need is within walking distance. Good restaurants, acupuncturist, massage, pharmacy, hardware store. All walkable. I deducted a star for the window shades which are way too transparent and don’t block the giant street light that’s exactly at my bedroom window height. I wish they had blackout shades in the bedrooms for this reason. But honestly, Jonathan and AJ make this place feel like home. They seem to genuinely care about the residents and will do everything they can to solve any problem you have. Seeing their faces makes my day every time. I hope Greenleaf knows what they have in these two. I really like it here. The residents, the staff, the neighborhood folk, genuinely good people.

There were some issues here in the past, but the (relatively) new management is listening and doing a much better job. Property maintenance was severely lacking last year but now is much better. We’ve lived here for three years and love being right downtown. A bit pricey, but to be expected based on location and amenities. There have been some security issues. Utilities are ultra low cost due to the Silver Leed construction.

We have enjoyed living here the last two years. We like the location, close enough to walk to the waterfront but without the ridiculous prices. It’s also very easy to get on the interstate and make it into Portland quickly. We live on a corner unit and the amount of natural light and balcony space is awesome. The one downside is no gym in the building but a CycleBar and Yoga6 studio just opened up downstairs. We go to a CycleBar and love it.

Have been living here since the beginning of June. Overall a great place to live. Our apartment is a 1 bed 1 bath with a den. Which can pretty much be used as a spare room and an office space. We moved from a house to an apartment and for the price the size is nice compared to other apartments we searched for around here. The parking spots are a little tight for bigger vehicles. They also have parking a block away at the church. Or you can park on the street just make sure to move your vehicle by a certain time or you will get a ticket from the city. Learned the hard way. When we first moved in the dryer vent was all messed up by maintenance fixed it within a day! There are people on the grounds cleaning the inside and outside atleast every few weeks which is nice. Overall the place is pretty clean other than people over filling the garbage can on the basement level. Maybe get a little bigger garbage can down there? It is within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and stores and even walking to the waterfront isnt too far. Shanahan Pub is right across the street! The 6th floor hangout area is nice especially if you have friends or relatives over. Our nephews love the pool table and ping pong table. They even enjoyed playing chess. They have multiple grills and a Blackstone grill! Definitely a plus since we werent able to bring our own. They have hot tubs for use also. And pet grooming every month for free on the first floor.Overall a pleasant place to live so far! Oh and they have a Facebook group where people ask for help, sell items or let people know whats going on event wise in the area.

Please consider ALL your options before Green Leaf.We had no heat for 2 months while trying to get in contact with someone who can tell us when we can expect some type of answer. No one could answer. All we asked for was communication, which we never received. The staff was never in the office and almost impossible to get ahold of.We have come home to homeless people sleeping in the stairwells, the front lobby’s couch as well as people attempting to break in. We notified the office and they said “that’s scary” and told us about other times this has happened. Not sure how that is comforting. There is animal urine and poop in the stairways. Maybe for aesthetics. The walls and flooring are very thin. You can hear the bars, fire station and drug deals at bus stop across the street. Great location, very popular throughout ALL hours. There is a no smoking policy. Our neighbors smoked weed in their apartment daily which made our room, the room next to them and the hallway.... LOUD if you know what I mean.Green leaf also sent us to collections after we moved out with no notice. For charges they applied after we turned in our keys. Over $400 of added on fees.Pros: walking distance to Relevant Coffee and the ping pong table

Id like to share my experience with Green Leaf Uptown apartments in hopes to inform the public how they do business. To start off moving in, the staff was extremely welcoming. The application process was a breeze and we got our keys in a timely fashion. Fast forward to the first month: When we moved into our apartment in December our heater didnt work. We made contact with in the first hour of getting our keys. They told us they would have someone come take a look. After 3 separate visits and a month later we still didnt have heat. At this point we were pretty upset. After expressing to them the importance of communication and having WORKING HEAT they finally brought us a little space heater. Not bad for high end apartments right. Luckily 2 months later we got our heat working. (not over exaggerating).Instance #2. One day my girlfriend and I were coming in after having a night out getting dinner. We walk in the the commons area to find a homeless man drunk and passed out on the couch... I thought they had night patrol come by to make sure the place was safe. We got to the point where my girlfriend felt unsafe walking to her car alone, especially with the amount of people under the influence of drugs roaming the propertyInstance #3 No one keeps the hallways and stairways clean. We both have stepped in dog poop on more than one occasion. They smell of urine and feces.Instance that led me to write this review. We moved out, turned our key in on the first. Later checked credit karma and got notified that I was sent to collections for unpaid balances from green leaf. I was never notified of a remaining balance via email, phone, mail, etc. The ONLY way I knew was through my credit karma app... Opened the balance and They charged us for utilities AFTER WE TURNED OUR KEYS IN. There was a total of $400 worth of random charges added on AFTER our deposit was deducted. Keep in mind we were there for 6 months and never there..... the place was left just how we got it.Summery- I wouldnt touch this building with a six foot pole. Youll get charged for it. Highly advise EVERYONE to consider all of their options before signing that piece of paper. Not safe, Noisy, messy, and inconsiderate/ absent management. I like the pool table though.

We just moved into Green Leaf Uptown and so far our experience has been wonderful. Lizz was our leasing agent and she made the whole process easy and stress free! We viewed an apartment and were actually able to move in the next day. The apartments are gorgeous and smartly designed. Their website photos don’t do them justice. Pet friendly and close to everything you want downtown. Underground parking and access to a couple of electric vehicles if you don’t have a car. Free bike storage. Good soundproofing. Beautiful private center courtyard. The only negative is the lack of grassy areas around the complex, an no pet area within the complex. If you have dogs you’ll have to take a short walk to take them potty, which isn’t great in the winter.

I must say I spent at least 3 months searching for the perfect place to call home when I made the decision to relocate to Vancouver, Washington from Austin, Texas. Upon finding this brand new complex with amazing amenities, I knew this was somewhere I defiantly could call home. I reached out via text (yes you can text for information; super awesome) and received a message with contact info, a friendly hello and details on the community. From the first text, to the many calls and changes I made to the apartment choice (I think I changed it 4 times at least) to the many questions I presented to Jeff Bunker, my leasing agent, he went above and beyond my expectations! Jeff is everything you want in a professional helping you through a leasing process. He has been extremely patient and kind. He provided exceptional assistance in working with me through the entire leasing process. Yes, even my calls about the types of lighting I wanted to decorate the balcony with, to uploading videos of the apartments to taking measurements for a bar cart I wanted to get for the kitchen space. He help in making sure I got exactly what I need in my home. If you are looking for an amazing space with lots of upgrades and gorgeous finishes and leasing professionals that WOW, please put this location on your list. You will be nothing less than pleased.Honorable mentions: I also worked with Jordan and Sunshine through this process. They were both amazing as well.

Green Leaf Uptown was phenomenal! The location, amenities, floor plan, environment and most importantly the staff! Taylor E. helped my girlfriend and I through a few apartments and we both fell in love! I couldnt be more grateful for Taylor and her knowledge of Green Leaf! Additionally, she was kind, respectful and created a genuine-authentic atmosphere amongst us all.We have applied and cannot wait to hear back from Green Leaf! The place we chose is by far our favorite, and cannot wait to create endless memories with friends, family and our little Maple (Aussie).Would highly recommend future potential residence to look into Green Leaf and speak to Taylor E.

I moved in almost 6 months ago and have had the best experience with the management team here. My first day in, I had an issue with my movers and both Taylor and John were so accommodating and made arrangements for me to have access to the moving elevator for an extended time. Shortly after, I had to go out of town unexpectedly and they offer to pop in and watch my cat for me! That was one less thing I needed to worry about. Of course, Covid hit and things have had to change and amenities are not currently available but that is in now way the fault of management. There is a cleaning service which comes in and keeps the common areas spotless. If ever I have noted something out of the ordinary (someone knocked down the exit sign on my floor), it has been handled right away. I would highly recommend renting here.

When green leaf took over a lot of residents were upset. Change is hard. In the last few months they have responded to resident complaints, fixed the majority of issues and brought this building back to what it was prior to the purchase.I tried to move out and experienced some issues with my new landlord that put me in a difficult position. The staff at Uptown went above and beyond to help me out of a bad situation. Stephanie and crew truly went the extra mile. They were very kind, caring and considerate of my situation and helped me settle into a new apt in the uptown. They did not take advantage of my situation and made me feel like a part of their family. I have worked in the property management business for 11 years and have never seen or experienced this level of customer service. Thank you for making this feel like a community instead of just a home.

I’m looking to relocate to the Vancouver area in a few short months and after visiting The Uptown Apartments on a recent trip there was no need to look further. Not only are the facilities clean, modern, and close to restaurants and shops, the staff was also welcoming and the residents were friendly (two legged and four legged)! Jeff in particular welcomed me and answered any questions I had in a manner than made me feel at home! I can’t wait to move in!

Staying at a Greystar apartment can be hit-or-miss, but I have to say that the management here is pretty fantastic. Not only friendly and helpful, they take time to organize pretty frequent and fun community events. Plus other little niceties like hot beverage bars (with homemade cocoa), bagels, etc etc.I would definitely say that of the apartments at which Ive stayed, this is definitely my favorite.

Just did a long haul move from Chicago without seeing the unit or city. The staff, Jordan & Jeff, made it feel seamless while giving me the confidence I was moving into a community that would gel. I moved from The South mid January. The team was super responsive and helpful, and since moving in Taylor (the manager) and the team have been responsive, communicative, and welcoming. The complex provides Relevant coffee in the lobby everyday (so good) and they put on cute events like having a mobile groomer for your dog come give free washes or light grab and go brunches on the weekend. Theres YogaSix and CycleBar opening soon on the ground level so thats also a huge plus. The building is beautiful and the courtyard and the social room make living here even better. Would highly recommend.

Anyone looking for a luxury and secured residence downtown should keep looking. GreenLeaf management is non-responsive and has allowed the building to go downhill. Refuse to keep the door locked (secure) during business hours because they apparently think their constant stream of temps are qualified to identify a threat. What’s the purpose of secured access if anyone can enter? Management claims the owners want it that way, but they obviously don’t live here or they would require the building locked AS THEY ADVERTISED!!Building drug/smoke free but can’t have windows open due to noise and smell of weed. Any complaints about loud music/drugs/smoke met with a “sorry” and a “we’ll talk to them” so we are out of here the second our lease is up.Have had to contact their corporate office in California just to get floors and windows cleaned; electrical cord running across parking garage to their electric cars is a tripping hazard as are the parcels they leave sitting out in the hallways for anyone to trip over and/or steal because they don’t secure them at night.Way too expensive for the lack of quality service!!! Can’t stress strongly enough how disappointing it has been to live here!

Its with a heavy heart that I have to modify my review. We have been living a nightmare since March 2018 when the tenant below us moved in and immediately began smoking. This community was touted as a smoke free environment but the management refuses to enforce and will not evict. We have to keep our windows closed, cannot use our balcony and as winter approaches, we will not have heat. DO NOT RENT WITH GREYSTAR IF YOU TRULY WANT TO LIVE IN A HEALTHY, SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT.

Horrendous policy here: require cats be declawed! Plus charge 400 security for cat and 400 pet fee plus $25/mon tent!People often mistakenly believe that declawing their cats is a harmless quick fix for unwanted scratching. They dont realize that declawing can make a cat less likely to use the litter box or more likely to bite. Declawing also can cause lasting physical problems for your cat. Many countries have banned declawing.Rent elsewhere!

I dont participate in the community events, but there are alot if youd like. I’ve lived at the Green Leaf Uptown for 1.5 years in two different units and 3 management teams. While I can’t dispute the fact that the Green Leaf finally has a good management team with Johnathan and AJ and they actually do their job (and they do it well), I can not recommend this a place to live. The building construction is terrible!! There is zero sound barrier and insulation between floors. Normal walking from the neighbors above sounds like they’re walking in cement shoes. Simple walking vibrates through the ceiling and walls. The first unit I was in I thought I just had an extremely inconsiderate neighbor. Add their wild oversized dog jumping around, I never got any sleep. The noise was so terrible management agreed to move me to a different unit. While the unit I’m in now is better because the tenant above doesn’t have a dog running around all day/night - the noise, stomping and ceiling vibrations are still ridiculously loud. The building is just poorly constructed and there is no way around that fact. If you do move here, I’d only consider the top floor. Some of the tenants also seem to have a complete disregard for the smoking policy. It isn’t uncommon to smell marijuana in the halls, on the balconies, and even in your unit.
