I’ve been here for a year now and have had no issues. A light went out in one of my restrooms and maintenance fixed it up quick and easy. Management is nice and easy to communicate with! 10/10 would recommend to anyone searching for an apartment. Basketball court, pool, and fitness room are a plus!

I have just signed my 3rd lease here at rock creek commons. It is such an amazing place to live, management is very friendly and loving. They work so hard to keep community safe and very very clean. If anything needs to be worked on in my or anyone apartment for that matter all staff is on top of it to get it done. Management main focus is residents needs first.Thank you team for all your hard work, you all are so amazing loving and caring. We are all so fortunate to live here where management and staff care so much and put others needs first.

Its snowing. Well they lied to an old lady cancer surviver. Put her and her kids out in the snow. Parking was a nightmare. They harassed her the hole time she lived there. Horrible neighborhood. But ya they screwed up would not admit it. They put an old lady out in the snow. 5pm. Wanna get treated like that ? Move in hahaha. What low life scum. Normal north west scum bags. Over priced i might add. No value for paper thin walls and so many rules.

I really love living at Rock Creek. As far as apartments go, this complex is a step above anything you could possibly rent in the area. The amenities are fantastic, the rates are the best price for what they are offering, and the community is very friendly. Everything inside of the apartments is updated and modern, and the living areas are very spacious. If you are looking for a tiny, cramped apartment this is the wrong place for you. Management is super nice and responsive, and I have never had a single issue with them. The only bad thing I think I could say about this complex is that the parking could have been designed a little better, keeping in mind that this is an apartment, and not a condo or townhouse, I think that it performs well enough. They also give you the option to rent a storage room/garage if necessary, which is also very awesome. I have had friends over multiple times and have never ran into any issues with parking passes. There is also ample street parking within short walking distance to the complex that my guests could use if they had to, but there has always been guest parking available when I have had people over (maybe Im just lucky, but Im not a gambling man). I think that as long as you inform guests to not park in a spot that says reserved without a pass, your guests should not have any issues. As far as maintenance goes, I have had three issues with my unit, just typical issues, a hole in the wall (created by accident of course), a minor problem with my in unit dryer, and a loose door knob. Every single one of my requests was handled within a couple of days, and Im sure if they would have been major issues the time frame would have been even sooner. I have never had any complex employee enter my residence without my permission. All in all, the complex is great, and if you are looking for a place to live, I highly recommend Rock Creek.

I could go on and on and on and on saying good things about this place and I havent even moved in yet!I was on a mission to check out apartments in my daughters school district ... Rock Creek Commons was the 2nd place I inquired about. After visiting every apartment building in the area, I went back to Rock Creek crossing because of the warm welcome I got so I went to find out more information to see if I would even be able to get an apartment there.....All starts with the amazing Natalia greeting me with a genuine smile. My circumstances were dire and I dont make alot of money, yet she and Patty helped me stay positive and I was approved for a 2 bedroom 🧡.Im sure after Ive lived there for awhile I will have many more reasons to say great about this place!

The apartments themselves are nice. Beautiful hardwood, updated appliances & features.Management is a joke! Amanda was very rude and unprofessional.Good luck getting your deposit back. They will charge you a cleaning fee which I was told on the phone is always charged but its actually not in the lease agreement. I had cleaned my apartment and made sure to get the move out cleaning sheet. Still was charged a fee.Visitor parking sucks. Maintenance guy was great. Blaine was amazing although he no longer works there. The property was always clean.I enjoyed living there but Mission Creek Mangement put a bad taste in my mouth.

I am a current resident of this complex and have been so for almost 2 years. I have to say I am quite disappointed in the management here in responding to concerns or even work orders for that matter. We chose this location for multiple reasons and chose to sign on because we thought it was a good idea. However, the manager in the main office is quite rude to all concerns brought forward...for instance there was a SEX OFFENDER living in the complex that they said they didnt know about and made me, a concerned resident, feel like my concern wasnt validated. After pressing, they reported that they were working with him to change his address so it wouldnt show up at their site. Additionally, when I asked about their back ground checks on people who live there they didnt respond. When I emailed the VP listed on the website, I didnt hear back from them.Concerns about the filthy conditions of their garbage areas are met with flippant and uncaring responses. When asked to do a work order, their office assistant responds with a scolding response that I am not available in the apartment at the time the Maintenance Personnel is available, even though I work 50+ hours a week.We have to renew our lease by March and that is definitely not happening. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt because they have a tough job, but the lack of respect and basic customer services really shows that they dont truly care for their current residents.Edit at 21:18 on 01/18/19: After posting this we were notified that our tenancy will be terminated at the end of our lease. This complex is both rude and spiteful. If you would like to live in this area I suggest you look into the apartments located on either side, Highland Crossing being the facilities closest to the main road near Prairie High School. This retaliatory response is something we have not seen anywhere else, and should serve as warning to any who hope to bring their families here.

We really enjoyed our apartment here at Rock Creek - it was updated, spacious for a 1 bedroom, had AC... however the management is absolutely horrible. When we moved in, it was a different story. They were kind and welcoming, made us feel like we belonged and were apart of the community. We were told to expect a pool by the end of the first summer we lived there, but it never happened until we left. Management changed and so did the vibe. We couldn’t wait to get out. Parking is absolutely horrid, and there isn’t NOT additional street parking anymore. The condos next door are being completed and the streets all have No Parking signs on them. We had troubles with management when moving out, and despite our efforts to discuss these troubles with upper management we were ignored and treated very poorly. I am shocked that they think it’s okay to treat paying residents the way we were treated.

Worst apartments ever!No idea how the city even let them build them here!Clearly the builder was only thinking of profit to himself. IdiotYou want to visit someone that lives here? Forget it... there is no extra parking. You will have to park on the road and hope that no one hits your car or breaks into it.By far the dumbest apartment complex design known to mankind

The apartment themselves are nice! Parking blows, especially for visitors. It’s nearly impossible to find a parking stop after 5pm. Which is fine for apartment life but the MANAGEMENT is HORRIBLE. When we first moved in we liked Blaine and the other staff but when Mission Creek took over it went downhill quick. Amanda, the property manager, is rude and very very very unprofessional. We complained to the regional manager and got no response; appears it’s an organizational issue. AVOID this apartment complex at all costs.

Im actually very surprised with how bad the other reviews are. The apartments are in a great location, they have great updates, plus have air conditioning. The parking is typical apartment parking, but a step above the rest. You get an assigned spot, plus there are reserved spots and then additional visitor spots. The people complaining about getting fined are parking in spots they shouldnt be using. The management has been great to us so far as well. Only giving 4 stars because there is a lack of storage and the master bedroom is small.

DO NOT rent here! My boyfriend and I have been here for 11mo and absolutely hate this complex! Rock Creek Commons is a joke. It is overly priced for a poorly insulated unit. If it werent for my cat guarding the cracks underneath the front and back doors; bugs and beetles would have to pay a portion in rent. The management is also a joke, they are extremely rude and quite frankly, no one seems to understand how to do their job. They never have a correct answer to any residential question. I would also like to mention the fact that a pool was supposed to be installed in June 2017 and now it wont be ready until summer 2018. We were lured in by many promises that were never intended to be finalized or used within our limited stay. Also, the USELESS club house. There is literally no reason for having a club house, the convenience of their use of a printer is ONLY if you send them your desired prints through email to them directly. This violates privacy and the fact that I have to wait on them to print my papers. It seems they do not understand the convenience factor.I went in this morning to purchase a parking pass and I was approached with the question of, do you have a check? The office is unable to provide convenient pay for their overly priced $20 parking passes. Parking is the biggest joke of all. When we first toured the lot, we were told by multiple agents, that spots marked reserved are open spots to all residents. Let me warn you now, that you should not park in a reserve without a parking permit because you will get ticketed. Though, this is not specified in the lease agreement ANYWHERE! (that one needs a permit for parking in an unspecified spot) This is a huge gimmick. We have been ticketed in our own spot (with our parking pass) we have also been ticketed for parking in a reserve spot. Getting management to understand the wrongful ticketing is very hard to obtain. You can never win with the management, as they all hold huge egos. The only upside to the complex is the modern appliances.Hopefully my warnings will provide some insight to those looking into these apartments and for those who operate them.To be honest, there are cheaper, better quality, friendlier service and convenient amenities found within apartment complexes right next to rock creek commons, id check those out!

Its pretty upsetting to see such poor reviews and complaints. Having worked in property management, I know how difficult it is to keep every single resident happy. This complex has probably no less than 200 units and even more people residing in them. You can imagine how impossible it is to keep everyone happy and on the same page. That being said, there are MUCH worse places to live. Yes. The parking is difficult and not ideal, but you find a way to make it work. For people with guests, yes it is difficult to find them parking but its only temporary.Although we have heard some noise.from surrounding neighbors, the complex as a whole seems to be very, very quiet 80% of the time. Which I think is pretty good considering the size of the community. Weve only had one consistent noise complaint and Blaine, the Leasing Consultant, made sure the staff addressed it. Its been a little over a week and the problem has subsided. The office staff and maintenance team are so friendly and helpful, and they have been even from the time before we leased. We leased site unseen and Blaine was so helpful in sending photo references and working with our move in. Weve never had any bad experience with them nor have we noticed poor attitude or distasteful/disrespectful talk of other tenants, and I spend some time in the office often to use the fitness room. All in all, we are extremely happy here and have not been wanting to pull our hair out for any reason. I just wanted to extend out my appreciation for a nice team and clean community. Thank you!!!!!!PS. I forgot to mention that one of the maintenable members, Taylor, helped us move our stuff in up four flights of stairs all while off the clock! She could have given us a simple good luck, but helped us instead. We have been grateful ever since, we couldve been moving in until it was dark out.

Unfortunately, I lived almost 2 years. It was ok until I had to leave. When my first year was over the management forgot get me into a contract so lived 6 months without any. Reason I was supposed to notify. So I was expected to perform manager’s duties :) Signed second contract and had to move halfway through it and Amanda cant keep her office straight. One person says that the lease cant be taken over, another says it can and they will advertise my unit. I was charged 2 month rent as early termination fee. I had a deal with Amanda to pay only that but when I called the corporate office Amanda got mad and charged me another full month rent and a bunch of maintenance fees and the deal was off. Lesson: whenever you deal with this place, ask for everything WRITTEN. Amandas dont keep her word. Oh and working with corporate office is worse. Regional manager, Amber Craven never returned any of my calls or emails. Guess the only way to communicate to her is via BBB compliant. Left message for Ambers boss Kay Hutchins same thing. When I call corporate, secretary says I have been contacted. All they do is mark in system as contacted but never do. I havent seen any calls. Oh and in the meantime I was working, trying to work, with corporate Amanda sent me to collections. Apartments are ok, but worst management I had ever dealt with.

The apartments are not the problem! Absolutely NO parking and you cant let anyone park in your space either or they are ticketed. Forget dating, having friends, or having a babysitter! Its all on lockdown. Then the inspects every 3 months. They will demand complete access to your place for up to a Week, thats right a WEEK, at a time for any reason at all! This is not ideal for anyone, unless you are a hermit, like random sin your place without you.there frequently, or just strange lol! Plus there is only one way in and out and its narrow and often line by cars!

Worst f****** Apartments ever. The apartments are nice the management is absolutely horrible. They are constantly bugging you about petty stuff. And they invade your privacy constantly. When I Was Gone the toilet and broke down on my wife and daughter over the weekend about noon and when my wife called the office to see if they can get the maintenance guy over here to fix it she told her to go call a plumber because it was not an emergency. Our neighbors got locked out of their apartments on a Saturday it was 88 degrees outside and they had a one-year-old baby with them and they would not come unlock the door because it was not considered an emergency. Luckily I had a 25 foot ladder that could reach the third-story balcony from the back so I climbed up and unlock the door for them. This management is by far the most inconsiderate people I have ever come across, and I have lived in four different apartments. I do not recommend this Apartments for anybody.

Nice apartments totally ruined by management. My husband and I had a 7 month lease at Rock Creek Commons. We didnt have any issues throughout that time until the end. Even though we were on the middle floor, we didnt think it was too loud. We heard cats running at times, but a fan at night drowned out any noise. The appliances worked as they should. The only annoying thing was no having drawers. You make due with what you have, but something to consider. We also liked the location. We had a nice view of Mt. Hood & Mt. St. Helens. It was a little country, a little city. We also liked the blocked off road right by that we could walk around and not deal with traffic.Unfortunately, we left the place with very negative feelings. We were given a Lease Renewal offer a month before our least was up on April 30th. On the sheet, the management highlighted the costs of our different options along with the date that we had to let them know our decision by. (April 15th) What they chose not to highlight in the fine print was that if we were going to end our lease, we had to give them a 20 day notice. Which would be April 10th for us, not the 15th. We were in the process of purchasing a home, but we wanted to make sure that nothing came up with that before we said we werent going to renew the lease for one more month if necessary. So on April 14th, we notified them that we were not going to continue our lease. They then informed us that we were supposed to let them know on the 10th. Im sure you can understand that we were super frustrated with how misleading they were. To make it worse, they said that this had happened numerous times in the past, but because we were the third tenant that DAY that had done the exact same thing, they were doing us a courtesy by only charging us a pro-rated rent for 5 extra days. Which ended up being $168 and we still had to be out on April 30th. She told us that she was going to change the date to 20 days before no matter what from now on, but who knows if she actually changed it.So, obviously, that left us with a bad taste and THEN we got our bill from them. Apparently in 7 months of living there, we put enough damage on their walls that they needed to touch up $70 worth of paint even though we had marked that the walls needed touching up before we moved in. Ironically, we bough two gallons of Valspar paint for our new home for the same price. Then they told us that because it was dirty BEHIND the fridge, that was another $70. It was like because we had left the place too clean, they were searching high and low for things to charge us for. They also were going to charge us for a new shower rod even though we had marked that there wasnt one on our Move In Inspection sheet. They said we should have explained why we marked that there wasnt one. Ridiculous! So again, they claimed to be doing us a courtesy by not charging us for the shower rod that we never took from them in the first place. In the end, we ended up owing them $30 and got nothing of our $400 deposit back.If youre looking for a nice place with a good location, this is a good option. But dont expect to walk away with any good feelings about the place after dealing with the management.
