So I called the Leasing office to schedule a time I can come visit the premises so I can see if I actually like the place because you know moving to a different area takes lots of precautions and steps. Well I guess when I first called through their advertisement it prompt me to a different company that handles their scheduling for a new residence and that wasn’t that bad so the man on the phone told me to be at the location at 11o’clock so I can get my tour and get more information but here’s when it gets bad once I call the right leasing office number to ask them how to find the location because Google maps takes me to the actual apartment complex instead of the leasing office which wasn’t told to me by anyone so basically a woman answers the phone and tells me that they don’t have anything available and ignored The fact that I asked her for directions to get to the leasing office so once I actually get to the leasing office the woman working there acts like she couldn’t help me she responds very quickly and firmly like I’m just there to waste her time and she just wants me to leave. I am just confused why they advertise the apartment complex tells me I can come and then when I get there they tell me everything they already told me on the phone I just feel like it’s very unprofessional I don’t know if it has anything to do with the fact that I am African-American but regardless white black brown the woman and the office was very unprofessional and I don’t recommend anyone to this location after seeing how they treat potential future residence

I had a small issue with my central A/C and literally after 3 minutes dude was out there working on it and after 10 minutes it was fixed. The grounds have been kept pretty clean; since Ive moved here at the beginning of 2021 Ive had no complaints at all and would definitely consider renewing my lease at the end of the year.

Rochelle in the office was fantastic assisting me to clear up issues in order to get approved. Other places didnt bother but she went above what l feel she had to do. Shes professional and very nice. Thank you Rochelle.

Toufik was absolutely amazing to work with. He went above and beyond and exemplified excellent customer service. He was kind, considerate, professional, and very helpful thorough out the whole process. I felt nothing but great energy working with him and it flowed right into our new apartment home!! The energy here is positive and welcoming and I’m glad I went with Steeplechase to call my new home!!

The place is great to stay in but the management ruins it the first 7 months of living here never answered the phone and we’re never in the office. They’ll have problems on their end that they don’t know about until you ask them what’s going on, it’s like they don’t even notice if somethings going wrong

Management can sometimes be hard to get a hold of but they are very friendly and will do all that they can to help with any problems, maintenance is great and will help fix any issues really quickly.The building itself is ok and clean, though you can definitely hear footsteps from upstairs if you live on the bottom floor.It was very easy to get approved for a lease.

Thank you to Rochelle, Sarah, and Toufik at Steeplechase for being so wonderful! This team always makes sure their residents feel safe, have what they need, and are incredibly friendly! Speaking from personal experience they have always delivered top notch service and make me feel valued and comfortable in my apartment.I cannot speak highly enough for these three people! For example, I had called because I was worried about a tree branch that was hanging very low near my vehicle and the next day they had a team out there and took care of the branches. Any time I have called the emergency line, I get a call back right away. The property is nice and well taken care of, the pool and fitness center are awesome to have, what makes this complex are the staff!!! Thank you for being great people :)

I find temporary housing for families, recently i placed a family in Steeplechase Apartments. And WOW, this was the easiest transition. The staff was so accommodating during the lease signing and getting our client in the home smoothly!Toufik was very kind and reasonable with just able everything, super easy person to work with and handled everything great! Definitely ask for him to assist you, if available - you wont regret it!I would 10/10 recommend this company. I know people only have the tendency to write bad reviews, however, as i prior Property Manager - i see no red flags here. GREAT place to live!

From the time I first came in, I felt comfortable. Steeplechase made choosing somewhere to call home easy. Sarah Ruple made everything feel like home from the beginning until now. With anything, there was a few little issues but the maintenance dept. at Steeplechase is so professional, timely and pleasant to have in my home. Issues are addressed quickly and with a wonderful attitude! I am so happy to have chosen Steeplechase to call home!

My experience with the new management has been good. The pandemic has caused a lot of challenges for everyone, and I believe management has dealt with these challenges in a timely, efficient, and polite way. Ive had 2 residences with steeplechase for 5 years and I have mostly positive experiences, hence why Ive stayed in the community. I recently had a leak, which was all over the kitchen floor, and it was resolved within an hour of reporting the problem. Other sparsely experienced maintenance issues have also been resolved in a timely manner. Keep up the great work steeplechase management and maintenance!

I just went there today to see how it looks like and I surprised when I saw kids working there and they were replacing one of the apartments carpet. I agree with other reviews and comments about the low quality maintenance. DO NOT ask me to contact the property manager because it seems that you just say it to everyone without solving any issues listed before.

This place is money hungry and it is so hard to contact them. We have been moved out of this apartment complex for almost six months. They charged us 1500 for damages and tried to double charge us. We paid our damages up front and my boyfriend even went into the office and dropped it off right away. The money was taken out of his account and they still sent us to collections. We have been trying to resolve this and when I emailed the manager, she told me that they don’t answer questions about collections and that we needed to contact the collections agency directly. That’s funny because our bill should have never been sent to collections in the first place. These people are never friendly and just harass people for their money. Ridiculous staff, and I hope that by writing this, nobody will have to go through the trouble that we have. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I am so pleasantly surprised with this entire experience! I had such a hard time finding a good place to call my new home. And I am so glad that I chose Steeplechase. Toufik was AMAZING. I had an extremely short timeline. (Like 4 days) to apply, get accepted, sign the lease and move in! And we accomplished everything so quickly. I appreciate all of the help. The new staff at Steeplechase is amazing. They have had to fix a lot of issues from the previous management and have done a wonderful job. They address all concerns and maintenance requests immediately and follow up to make sure everything was taken care of. It is clean, quiet and well maintained.

Awful experience with this money hungry management team! My husband and I emailed and left multiple voicemails that never never returned. When I finally got ahold of someone to ask why we were being charged TRIPLE the amount we owed for 10 days worth of rent after we already paid $2k to break or lease early from this awful place, all she could say was I dont know. Plus they never even sent us a bill, they just sent us straight to collections. Management is very nice to your face until they actually have to do their job, then youll never hear from them.

I have been there for 4 years and management was so great and friendly. However, the new team are not. Unfortunately I would not recommend to anyone to sign a lease here. Steeplechase was a great place to live. Unfortunately the lack of communication and processes from upper management (Morgan communities) left us with a bad taste. They charged us over 700 $ in move out expenses because the move out inspection had found that we had extensive carpet damage that was already there before we moved in and other damages without given details. Furthermore, they sent the bill to collection agency even before I get the actual bill.

They get no stars from me. I thought this place was beautiful at first, however I had put a deposit of 250.00 for a apartment, I did not get a chance to move in due to a immediate death in my family. I get a paper in the mail upon returning from my family funeral that since I didnt move in they kept my 250.00 security deposit. First of all I signed no lease and nothing states that your deposit will be kept if u dont move in. Most places u get it back. So this further lets me know, this is crooked. You can keep that 250.00 for your pocket change however now I know to further investigate a complex before giving them my money. However I would not recommend this place and its overpriced for a apartment. you can have a mortgage by the time you pay rent here to live under somebody else rules. Take Care. Lesson Learned from Shady Complexes. Somebody had dinner with my 250.00 but its ok I make that in a one day. Beware of scams and review all fine print if you dont go through with the least.

I’ve lived at Steeple Chase apartments for almost 4 years with no issues. Since Morgan Communities took over, things became problematic and unprofessional. The prices were raised for no reason, and no changes were made to the apartments at all. The maintenance is low quality. I spoke to the manager more than once about renewing my lease and asked for information regarding the new lease to help me decide wether I’d be staying or leaving and I’ve received minimal assistance. I had to cancel my summer vacation because I was unaware of the possible changes such as the prices being affordable or not. Every single time I’ve asked the office for information, they do not have an answer and are expecting me to decide within 30 days prior to my lease renewal on wether I should move or not. Looking for a place within 30 days is nearly impossible. Last year I had 90 days to decide not 30. They told me to go month to month on a lease until I can find a place or decided to renew my lease, which is an extra $200 on top of the current one. This apartment community use to be my favorite place to live, but now I personally don’t recommend anyone living here.

We really enjoy the space and how Central it is to nearby amenities. The in-unit washer and dryer are fantastic. We also love our porch area, garage and 2 bedrooms. I do think the quality of most items in the apartment is quite cheap considering the monthly cost of rent. The paint chips easily and even if youre the cleanest person, somehow the carpet picks up stains effortlessly. Maintenance responds to requests quickly as well which is great.My frustration is with the office. I was very on top of it when we moved in, but I felt a little lost in regards to the items and forms I was given, as well as a timeline. Now we have lived here for 6 months and weve been getting over-charged for months for a renters insurance opt-out plan, when weve had insurance the whole time through our insurer. I called the office several times and left at least 3 voicemails (no one ever answered my calls). No one called back. I then went to the office on a lunchbreak and they had a potential renter in-office learning about spaces. When the employee asked me what she could help with, when they realized it was a complaint, she quickly grabbed an informational paper and told me to call that number, told me she couldnt helped me and essentially pushed me out the door. I was pretty disappointed because we do love this apartment.*Edit*: Maintenance only occasionally responds to requests quickly. We put in a work order on September 1st, 2018 and it is now September 11, 2018 and both items on the work order have not been fixed. I called the office and they said they would check on the status with the maintenance team and call me right back - its been over 3 hours now with no return call and when I called again to check, I was sent to voicemail. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.*Edit 2* Time for another update. It is September 13, and I never received a call back, and have called the office 5 more times the past few days during business hours. It has gone to voicemail every single time. At this point Im wondering why Im living somewhere that doesnt care or respect their residents who have never missed a payment/had a complaint, enough to even give them a call back. I just want an update like, Well be there to fix the issues next Monday, but cant even get a courtesy call. Beyond frustrated and disappointed.Not everything that glimmers is gold.

Disclosure: Parent company leaders of Steeplechase are under criminal investigation for fraud.I went to Steeplechase shortly after Morgan management took over. Morgan typically is above market value on their apartments in the Toledo area. I have been scoffed at by their leasing agents at multiple locations when I said their price is not competitive.I was told that rates wouldnt go up with them taking over.. they did.I was never contacted after the leasing agent told me shed be in touch. Stay away from Morgan Communities - Perrys Crossing, Steeplechase and Chelsea Place. Preston Gardens is overpriced but is due to location in Levis Commons. There are many options in the Maumee and Perrysburg area for better rates and nicer apartments.

I have been leasing from steeplechase for the last year and I have had a mostly good experience. I had been with another morgon community complex before this one (preston gardens) and I have positive things to say about them to. The apartment is great for the money (2 bedroom) and I havent had many major complaints. The biggest Issue that I have experienced is the maintenence team doesnt like to answer the phone. I called both the non-emergency and even the emergency line and both rang for eternity. I had to eventually call the leasing office to get the CELL number of the maitenence lady (who was otherwise very personable). I have to agree with the other negative reviews about the leasing office however. Its a roll of the dice if youre actually going to get a call back, most of the time I didnt. And they seem to only have one person in the office juggling a bunch of stuff when you go in. Its kind of sad because the apartments themselves are awsome, the support teams just need to tighten up their standards. If you were to ask me if I recommened this complex I would say yes, just be prepared to deal with some annoyances.

They dont fix anything my dishwasher hasnt worked since I moved in the base boards are falling off the paint is chipping they charge a late fee and wont take a payment to prevent an eviction they dont salt the parking lot this is a horrible place to live some people pay 1000$ and some pay 600$ for the same apartment its horrible dont do it
