I recently called for maintenance for a dishwasher and sink problem and Trent came immediately and fixed both and advised us how to drain the dishwasher if it ever happens again AND then went into the bathroom and tightened the sink handle for good by putting in some part that tightens it for good AND then adjusted a bedroom door. The last two items wasnt on the original request. Thank you Trent for fast and very efficient service. The maintenance staff at Hunters Ridge is a five star and weve been here going on 5 years.Bonnie Hurst

Sarah was very accommodating and made sure we were informed about everything! We had a noticeable crack in our bedroom window upon move-in but the maintenance team quickly informed us that they were already in the process of ordering a new window pane for us. Have been enjoying my time here so far- these are very nice and quiet apartments to live in and perfect for students at UTMC.

I completed an application in June of 2020, and although I was told it would go seamlessly without any problems, it took them almost two weeks, and then I was told that I was rejected the apartment. What is kind of absurd is that I eventually found an apartment later at a higher rent in a different subdivision with the same credit score and information, and I was given the apartment. Despite calling them on an often basis, they had nobody to answer, and even when they did, they told me not to call. Then, after being rejected, I was told I would get a full refund on the hold I placed, but they only gave me half the refund, and when I called to verify, they took my message and never got back to me again!Although the apartments are nice, the management really needs to pick it up with their organization, and I would not recommend this place.They seem to only care about money and not the satisfaction of customers.

After dealing with false advertisement from a previous apartment, a nice lady named sarah was able to secure me an apartment and move me in the same week. Im a month in, and so far ive had no major issues with the area, apartment, or management. Maintenance requests are done online, and have been solved surprisingly fast. I have overall positive things to say on the whole ordeal. The only negative I have is how loud the creaking from the apartment above me tends to get, but its not that big a deal. Would recommend

I currently live here and its an okay place to stay. The only bad part is that at night you have people screaming outside your window all hours of the night. The office staff could be a little bit more friendly. But maintenance is AWESOME! Especially Anna! She defiantly gets the work done and its done almost the same day or the following day! The buildings are pretty well kept clean. The washer and dryer is a hit or miss if it will work or not.

LESS THAN 1 STAR. I applied for an apartment and they took $100 from me to hold it. Then I was told that I had to sign a lease for a year WITHOUT even seeing the place. So I kindly told them to refund my money and give the apartment to the next person in line....and they STOLE my money! They refused to refund my money for holding the apartment! DO NOT TRUST THEM. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Glad I never moved in.

Recently contacted the property and spoke to the leasing agent about a few concerns and rumors. Not only did she reassure me and give me facts to support her property and staff she definitely made me anxious for a tour and more like her friend than a future tenant. You should always talk to the source and not second hand folks. Definitely applying after the new year.

One of the worst customer service experiences Ive had when it came to talking to someone. Secondly managers are unprofessional and get snappy attitudes about their screw ups.

These apartments are nice on the inside, but they need updating , they are ok not very many amenities.

I enjoy living at Hunters Ridge. The office staff are very helpful and patient. The new playground is a great addition and the grounds are always clean. Great location for me to get to school at UT and then back to work in Maumee. Some halls could use some paint and updates but I love that the doors to the building are secured and my apartment with the updates is just right for me. I have been here for almost a year and plan to stay till I buy my 1st home!

In my opinion, The office and maintenance staff at Hunters Ridge have been awesome since i moved in. I understand no place and no person is perfect but they do their best. Some person came into that office when i was getting a package and they were very rude to Ray out front and she smiled back and killed them with kindness! They have a lot to deal with on a daily basis. My Maintenance issues always get repaired with in a few days if not sooner and i love the dog park and new playground for my little one. My unit is awesome and i love my neighbors.

For THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT MOVE HERE. After 5 days late on your rent you will feel every piece of the 100.00 late fee. And if you have a discount that goes away for the month too for many total late fee was 140.00 . When you meet them and hear this it will sound reasonable but IF YOU ENCOUNTER ANY HARDSHIP during your stay there they will eat you alive. Dont do it 1 late turns into a chain reaction quickly.

I had applied online and was in contact with a leasing consultant, was informed that my application was being processed, 5 days later I was informed that my approval went through and the leasing consultant apologized for not informing me right away. Little did I know that the Hold Fee wasnt a hold fee at all, my plan was to move in 30 days after my application was sent in. After researching the facility further and checking other places out, decided that I no longer wanted the space and asked for the Hold Fee to be refunded. Only to be told it had to be done 3 days after the application was approved....it took them 5 days to tell me that my application was approved. Shady business!! Guess they need the Hold Fee more than I do.Terrible Customer Service...Good Luck to any that apply and move in here!

They had roaches the entire year I lived there then proceeded to steal my security deposit, do not live here

I have been living here for 4 months and I am out of here when my lease is up! My upstairs neighbor was recently evicted for not pay her rent I suppose. During these four months she let her toilet over flow into my apartment three times. I had to call the 911 for her because she was running around the apartment building screaming like she was being attacked. When the police arrived they expressed to me that her apartment was very nasty. After her eviction I have been noticing roaches in my cabinets where I keep my cups (no food). I feel like the roaches are leaving from up stair and coming into my apartment in search for food. I told the office and they told me that there isnt anything they could do right away and that someone would come in 4 days to spray. I feel like that is total bs because Im not paying rent for me and my baby to live with roaches!!! If I wanted to live with roaches Id be in the projects! I feel like my concern was taken very lightly and I feel disrespected by your office staff. I would never recommend these apartment to anyone. From the ghetto neighborhoods to the rats and roaches, youd might as well get a apartment in the projects!

Put in a request because I had no water pressure. Somehow went from no water pressure to no hot water. This is day number 5 with no hot water. I have called and complained and they don’t seem to care. Apparently me sleeping in a hotel and sleeping at friends houses so that I’m able to shower is ok with them until they decide to fix my water.

I have been living at this apartment for about a year and just last three months I experience a big issue with mice and they are taking there sweet time on fix the problem. And Im NOT the only tenant that effected by this. I havent been able to stay in my apartment for last week cause of these mice.

This is the worst place to live we have been here for 5 months and have received 27 letters on our door we got our 1st one 6 days after moving in because the lady downstairs said she could hear our dogs in our hallway. I payed 450$$ security and 25 each perMonth for my dogs to be there if they dont want to hear dogs then dont make it friendly.They are so worried about the breed but I have seen numerous Pitts,German Shepards and other breeds that are on the list that are not allowed. We lived in one of the buildings that are next to the woods there are ants and mice!Dont take a shower and then someone turn on their water because it turns so hot that it will burn you then it will go completely cold its really bad we are moving out and never coming back beware of this place!!!!

So I moved into Hunters Ridge October, 2016 and before I did I read reviews about how not to move here because it was so horrible. I decided to disregard the horrible comments people had and take a chance on Hunters Ridge. We toured our two bedroom two bath and fell in love with the renovations that made the apartment pop. However, now that I have lived here for 9 months I wish I would have listened to all the bad comments and reviews because they are dead on. From an outside perspective looking at all the big details these apartments come across as nice but please people look at the fine details. I have lived at three other apartments in Toledo, two in south Toledo and one on Monroe, and this one is so disgusting and by far the worst. DO NOT MOVE HERE! And please listen when people say this because it is true and I will list the reasons why. 1) My kitchen plumbing is held together by a Prego jar, if the jar wasnt there my kitchen would flood after every dish washing session. 2) The toilets were not connected to the floor leaving puddles. 3) Window screens do not keep bugs out nor do they slide completely over to the wall. I would show you all a picture of all the dead stink bugs in my window. 4) Mold growing on the side of windows because of poor insulation. 5) No A/C and they do not care if it is fixed in a week or over a month. Legal action can be taken however if they dont get it fixed within a month of the work order. No one should be able to live without A/C in the summer especially when the website advertises central air! And the list goes on and on but I thought I would list some specifics so people get a real perspective over this place. 1000 apartments in Toledo do not make Hunters Ridge your home. Anyone deserves better!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. They never fixed anything. My apartment flooded because of their lack of maintainence and they charged me for it! They never changed my carpet. Very disappointing!! Theres too many downfalls for me to even list! This company honestly needs to shut down. I understand that, no company is perfect, but its ridiculous for management/maintenance/owners to even let their company get THIS bad. I wouldnt even recommend living here if desperate. I wouldnt even recommend pets to live here. You would better off going with LMHA or low income housing before signing with Hunters Ridge!

I moved in October 2, 2017 which means my lease was supposed to be 12 months. However, I got a job out of the city and asked management how much would I have to pay to buy out my lease. To my surprise, my paperwork was incorrect. I was put on a 13 month lease which meant my lease was actually over November 26, 2018. This is difficult because I am having problems commuting 3 hours for work. In addition, staff keeps putting lease renewal letters on my door, with dates of 10/2/2018, but are telling me my lease is up 11/26/2018. Maintenance takes forever to fix what needs to be fixed. The shower walls are disgusting and need to be redone, there is always the smell of weed in my apartment complex. I stay in the new apartments which are updated with balcony. Rent goes up every year, so youre not paying the same amount you were paying when you first moved in. If you dont respond by lease renewal date, you automatically will be placed on a month to month which equaled out to $809.00 plus all utilities. Also, the property manager is very rude, and unapproachable. Dont move here! although, it is appealing on the inside/outiside for most updated apartments, management is horrible. They dont check their paperwork and have a high turn over rate for employees. To me, that says a lot about a property. I cant wait until my lease is up.... s/n whenever that is!

As a lot of people have said you will love it when you get a tour but for sure in your first 3 months at least 3 mice will show up the cheap doors and knobs will fall off, the toilet will spray water you will notice all the leaks you have never seen under sinks and with the cheap shower they paint with house paint so it chips and bugs for days will crawl through your window because there is no insulation which does not keep your electric low we noticed they didnt even clean the bugs or appartment when we moved in. the ac has mold never ran it because it smelled so bad they dont take care of your apartment or the halls when a light breaks in the hall our at your front entry its at least two weeks before it gets fixed so you walk in the dark. its like they never check their buildings washers smell bad lived here two years there is more to go on about believe me just want to leave every day.

Don’t RENT here !!!! Management is extremely terrible , not friendly one bit. They have no playground so kids just play in the street up until midnight. If your a student attending University of Toledo I strongly suggest you not to sign a lease here . It’s an extremly unsafe environment . Constantly have break-ins in apartments as well as cars . Management will leave a million flyers on your door about renewing your lease but won’t inform you on the high crime rate around . If the manger is the same one In May 2018 I strongly suggest you sign else where. She is far from friendly , and has zero sympathy regarding anything about your living comforbility.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. We have only lived here for a few months and the apartment has flooded 10+ times, it has been broken into, fights constantly outside, there are been shots fired into the apartment above ours. Management is terrible and when we asked about breaking our lease because we feel extremely unsafe, all they wanted was more money from us. completely ridicious, unprofession business that doesnt care about anyone in their apartments at all.

When we moved in over the summer last year we were under the impression that it was a nice homie place to live. It was close to work and UT so we could finish our schooling without being inconvenienced by going to work. It was also very close to a Walmart and Kroger for our grocery and shopping needs. But as the fall season came the the complex changed with the weather.During the summer we never got a chance to swim in the pool because it was always closed down because of vandalism.Our Apartment was located on the bottom floor with a low pitted porch area just off the main door; which was constantly used as a dumping area by not only our neighbors but the grounds people as well. In the fall they would sweep the leaves into our porch and we would constantly see coffee cups and plastic bags there too. I could be wrong our neighbors may not have deliberately thrown them in our porch. but that means they did litter in the parking lot and the apartment was unable to clean in before it started turning our apartment into a dumping ground. The same thing happened in winter when the snow fell down. when maintenance came by to clear a walkway they would either shovel the snow into our porch; or when the snow was deep, us a snow blower and at high speed project the snow into our door.The building itself started falling apart and it took them forever the get around to fix anything. Our main mailbox was ripped out of the wall and we were inconvenienced for 2 weeks as they repaired it. a side piece on our porch molding fell off about 3 weeks ago during the snow storm. we told the office right away and they said theyd send someone over.....were still waiting.And the worst of it is that the main door to our building wasnt shut all the way because, along with the problems unlocking the main door, the ice made the handle stuck in an open position. we experienced 2 break ins, and 1 attempt on our own, in one night. We have yet to see an increase in security, or the off duty police officer who is supposed to be patrolling our complex, since.And now during the final months of our lease they will inconvenience us yet again. In our lease which they went over extremely fast in the beginning proses. We were told to give a 60 day notice to terminate the end of our leasing agreement. that was 8 months ago. we were unaware of the 60 day and thought it was a 30 day notice. At the beginning of last month we got a paper that said to have our decision made by the end of February (30 days). When we turned it in, the woman at the office told us we would still have to pay for April even though our lease is over and wed be moving out. we did not receive proper notice for this and the notice we did receive was misleading as well as late on arriving to us. however we are still at fault and are now forced to pay the rent, and month to month extra fee at an apartment will will no longer be stay at.

Hunters ridge was a terrible experience. I dont know if I will ever have any positive thing to talk about other than the nice maintenance guy. But Over all they have the poorest maintenance service ever. But most of all, the RUDEST, MEAN and UNPROFESSIONAL staff at the leasing office. Its a warning people. If you really are trying to move to Hunters Ridge, well Good Luck to you! They never gave back my apartment holding fee that was to be refunded when I left even though I called and visited the office not one but numerous times. All I heard was that they have sent it and I should wait in the mail. But Never got it. (400) dollars! I have left their office crying on so many occasions because I obviously needed the money but they didnt even try to help at all other than telling me to wait. I waited for months and its been two years and I am still waiting! I remember at some point, they even lied about their Manager being in the office (Scott was his name) even after seeing him inside. He was too embarrassed and came out to speak to me FINALLY. But VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. They have a huge mice problem that they never have exterminators come out for. They only clean when they will be showing apartments. Dont move here. Dont invest your money. Its not worth it.

Do not rent from this apartment complex. The actual apartment is gorgeous but the maintenance staff are terrible. I take forever to fix whats broken. they sit down in the office with their feet kicked up when they know they have orders to feel and look at you and talk to you like you dont pay rent and you dont matter. The management is even worse the supervisor is the worst supervisor Ive ever dealt with. shes feisty disrespectful and hotheaded at any little word she doesnt like or something that she doesnt want to do. dealt with this for a whole year and would never rent from them again. save yourself the time energy and not worth it to spend the money. I did like the location and the quietest the management was just a total problem.

Terrible place to live, dont ever rent here. At first glance its nice but once you move in you will regret it, mold on windows, very crappy AC always breaks down or freezes over, and doesnt cool the whole apartment, shower gets hot when someone else uses water, mice are the worst, ive never seen a place so badly infested with mice. Management has changed 3 times since ive been here, matinance does half ass fixes instead of proper ones which cause more problems or you continue to have the same problem, car got broken into several times, they poorly keep up the common areas, they dont plow in the winter and when they do they dont put salt down so you end up pretty much skating on ice, i supposedly have the upgraded apartment but the cabinets are so outdated they look like they are from the 70s the carpet needed changed when i moved in and now its just gotten worse and im sure it wont be changed until i move, DO NOT RENT HERE

If you’re fine with paying 500-600+ a month for apt that you will be sharing with Stuart & his family (Mice) go for it.. Pest control comes out an does abosouley NOTHING!! Maintenance is HORRIBLE, takes them at least a week to come out an fix anything everything falls apart they rush to rent out units.. They only care about the stuff that’s going to get ur attention an make you want to rent so they paint the parking lots, try to keep the landscape looking good. BE SMART, DONT RENT FROM HUNTERIDGE!!

I moved here from Bowling Green, OH. This Place is Terrible, I have gotten bed bugs since living here, my car was broken into, and someone recently broke into my apartment through my bedroom window (thank god my roommate was home and woke up and this scared them off)! they are money hungry, insensitive people and if you have an ounce of common sense- you would stay the hell away!

Horrible. They didnt complete repairs in a timely fashion. When I moved out, they do not refund your deposit. I gave a 60 day noticed and left my apartment in excellent condition and it has been 60 days now and I do not have my refund. Hunters ridge mgmt is avoiding me. Do not move in here. Worst management ever and very rude office staff.

Horrible I moved here back in September 2016. I didnt last past 4 weeks before my oldest child began to see mice. We killed a total of 13-14 mice within a 4 week period. Management doesnt care about the tenants, they feel its a joke and that people should live however. Mice are a huge problem obviously, they lie and say no one has ever complained about mice. So glad I got out of there when I did. They can keep the security deposit and keep holding their breath if they think Im paying because I broke my lease. GTFOH!
