Crooks. Thieves. Still dog hair on the floor when we moved in. Never even got a form when moved in to fix anything. Cheaply made. Laundry room washers and dryers never work. Always loose your rent then try to evict you. Can never get a call back from office or maintenance when you need them. Will try to get every dime they can from you when you try and move out. Please read reviews and stay away from this place! Mr noneman is rude and unprofessional. Doesn’t care about his employees or his tenants. Goes through managers and employees like crazy! Please look elsewhere! Even if your desperate

Terrible all around. The workers in the office talk over you and are extremely rude. The property managers are liars and Diane in accounting was so rude over the phone. I would never do business with this company again as they will screw you out of every single dollar. I am thinking of hiring a lawyer as I HAVE IT IN WRITING what day they were to charge me until and they decided to add two weeks.This place disgusts me.

How I wish they will have competitors in the TOLEDO area.... everyone is RUDE ! They apartments are poorly made and they will do anything and everything to dupe you . RUN from them. MR Noneman( the owner ) it’s the RUDEST person I’ve encountered in my entire life. Very unprofessional staff. Look elsewhere if you can

We viewed Encore online (my daughter) we drove by one day, viewing what we thought as a good place to be. We have been through houses looking for a place that met all our needs. We were looking for an apartment/house with concerns of safety, easy access for seniors needs, a garage, schools, outside maintenance and above all the quality. Encore has hit every mark as the best. We are moving in next month. We are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors and establish a good network of our neighborhood.Christa MacPherson has helped us with a tour to find the right place. She explained all rules and expectations that we are comfortable with. We viewed all this as pluses that will help maintain our expectations. Talking with her has establish good interactions. She has been very professional listening to the needs we wanted to meet. She is helpful with knowledge about the apartment we viewed, and the options that are offered. She explained every question we had about play areas, the walking and bike riding paths that go along with being in a safe area and the established rules that are in place.We found great options, good interactions, and a place we can call home. Thank you for listening. We looking forward to great things, safety, and being outside maintenance free. A place to just relax. Again thank you, we are so happy to find a place and call it home.

Who in there right mind signs a year lease without being able to walk threw the unit you are leasing? Karen from timber valley is awful. She told me I could walk threw the unit once the tenant moved out on june10th, this company already had my 850 dollar deposit and when I asked to walk threw before I signed she said maintenance people were already working on it and we can’t interfere with them because they are on a tight schedule. I completely understand, then when they are done can we walk threw it and I will sign then.... Karen says we don’t hold units and you have to sign, I don’t have access to walk you threw it. What a joke.... I will not sign my name to something I can’t see! Don’t work with these people. Even the owner told me on the phone I could walk threw it then took that back and said no I couldn’t and signing today was there policy even without seeing it. Don’t work with them! Timber valley is shady!!!!!!!

Zero stars - Ive worked at an apartment complex in the past, and every bit of this place and their properties seem to be run terribly. We were looking for a place to live and stumbled upon this new property in Perrysburg (Rivers Edge). Everything looked great and was going well, but then once we submitted our application we did not hear a word from them. Called multiple times and did not answer the phone, would not answer texts, and when Id call the office to speak to someone, Id then get transferred to a voicemail. Property manager was not aware of requirements needed for living on the property and started contradicting herself as time went on. Definitely recommend looking elsewhere for a place to live.

Nickel and Dime you. Impossible to get full deposit back. Charged $40.00 for leaving lint in the dryer and $40.00 for leaving foil in the stove. They expect a brand new apartment when you move out. Good luck getting anything fixed timely as well. Unless its an emergency, you are waiting 2-3 weeks if not longer. You are just a monthly check to them. I lived here for 3 years and my rent was raised every single year! Started at 709.00 a month and left at $789.00 if a new one year lease was signed or it would have been more! Money hungry business. Employee turnover rate is huge which shows how they truly operate. Have had 3 different managers in 3 years. Centurion House was nice when I first moved in but a dump when I left. Invest no money in their properties.

My wife and I put in an application and they said my background check came back that I had a criminal record. I told them thats lie because I work for the school system and cannot possibly have a criminal record. Also, Ive never been inside of a jail before or have anything on my record but a couple of traffic tickets only. I went to the office and I was threatened and told they would call the police if I didnt leave. I called the office, asked for supervisor or manager and was refused. I just left it alone. We felt terrible. That was 100% racial profiling.

STAY AWAY! This place is nothing but a money pit. Poor management of property (Garden Arms) and they didnt fix issues in my apartment until I sought legal assistance. There are hidden charges (I was told I have to pay electric, but they never told me that heat/gas is paid for by residents of the entire building). Having a home is about also having peace of mind and this place brought nothing but issue after issue.

As the reviews says dont lose your time. As a tenant of one of the properties managed by Noneman Real Estate, I can say that it is my worst experience of my life, I did not know that people were so unprofessional and lacking in values ​​for the client, especially Mr. Dennis Noneman. Do not waste your time and your money with this people. Do not make my same mistake. I do not understand how other companies provide their properties in hands of those people. Noneman Real Estate Company does not have any king of customer value.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I have been calling for WEEKS to set up a pmt plan and make a pmt on my acct. Not only did nobody return any of my MULTIPLE calls but I call today to find out they sold the property/acct whatever to another company. On top of this it took them MONTHS to even figure out what we owed them and then expected us to pay right away once they figured it out. Completely unprofessional, zero communication. Do not recommend..

Scared straight-Red flags & odd coincidences prior to signing. The term wait list and the phrase the unit might not be available if you wait came up way too often. During my inquiry, oddly, another potential renter arrived seeking the exact unit I was interested in whereas there was only one left. The agent had been texting during my interview and so as I reflect, I believe this was staged.When asked to view the lease prior to signing day, the answer was, We dont allow that. A 12 month lease was written for beyond...I was signing early August 2017 yet the term was written to the last day of August or September 1, 2018. 12 months runs from August to July...How clever or tricky to quietly add that additional month and a half. During signing, I was told that I was NOT permitted to ask questions about the lease until I was finished reading it, so I had to take notes to be able to recall the several questions and discrepancies I needed addressed. Heres just one to give you an example: Since I wasnt given the other guidelines and policies as stated in the lease, I was told that I could note that on the lease and initial it. I crossed details out and made notations a few times within the lease as permitted. BUT, the leasing agent would not initial those parts, and I was directed to sign two leases, one with my notes and initials and the second, a clean copy of the lease to where the office keeps the clean copy and I keep the one with my notes. Really? My lease and notations would not be binding then.To add, the fees for normal wear and tear were unrealistic and intimidating and $500,000 renters insurance was expected. Finally, if I had signed, made clear was that it was a must to contact the electric company for name transfer right then and there in the office with the leasing agent, a bit controlling.This experience as a whole became suspicious, rigid, and insincere. My gut told me not to sign; I didnt. I guess I was one of the lucky ones based on prior reviews. Judge Judy says, If it looks like a duck and acts like a duck, its a duck.

At the time you move out from their apartment, money is all what they care about. I was a student and dont have SSN, so they took from me $600 deposit. They refund me with $48 only !! Do I destroy the apartment ? I even vacuum the carpet before I leave. But this is a good way for them to take your money especially when someone like me left the States. By the way, they charge me a rent for a month that I wasnt there at the apartment, their explanation is I gave them a notice of leaving less than 60 days of the date of leaving. They will took your money by million way.

I ended up moving out halfway into my lease and bought a house because it was cheaper. Yeah, you read that right. It was cheaper to buy a 2k Sq ft house than live in a 500 Sq ft shack. But hey, I have city water and $40 electric bills instead of well water and $200 electric bills. Too bad my deposit got ate up by someone else moving in and charging me $100 a month on electric. Which is illegal but Im just a nursing student. What do I know. Well, I was young and dumb and warning the next 20 year old to just save up for a house because all these people do is make living the college life of 6k every four months tuition even harder.

Noneman claims my contract was up on March 31st, however insists that I am required to pay for rent for an additional month after I am required to vacate the apartment. I have never heard of such a requirement to pay for time after your lease is up. I have tried to contact the company several times, each time they claim the manager is not in the office. I have personally gone to the office, and they also insisted that there is nobody in the office to help conclude my rental agreement.How exactly are you suppose to give notice to a company that doesnt have the ability to receive your notice to vacate? And then put the blame on the renter claiming they did not give proper notice... TO WHO???Avoid this company. Their negative reviews are correct, they can not be trusted.

Once again, please stay away from these people, first as my previous post the charged me more than 3k when I left because the said that I agreed on extending the contract when I didnt. and almost two month since we left this place they still have not refund our deposit, they said that they sent it but it never arrived, they said that they need to charge another fee to do another check because the first never arrived, I asked them for a tracking number and they said that they dont have it, so I went to my USPS office and they said that without a tracking number they cant do anything they dont have proof of sending us the deposit. I hope to recover my money back, or I will to take this into my lawyer and sue this company. My wife and I have rented for over 7 years and first time we are having a very unpleasant time. My advice is looking for an option that is not managed by this poor company. This review is for both costumers and for the service providers.This place doesnt even deserve 1 star, its only due to Googles generosity that I have to give at least 1 star. Otherwise Id give 0.42 stars (me being silly)My lady-friend and I moved into a two bedroom from a single bedroom for more square footage.When we first moved to the two bedroom, the carpet smelled like cat/dog piss. Had to ask Tim and Matt at least three times about replacing the carpet, but they had cleaned the carpet two times then I got a carpet cleaner myself (where I spent over $150), still the smell wasnt gone. Then waited another month for new carpet. This experience was horrible for both my lady-friend and I.Also we moved into an older unit, which requires updates. Double bedroom that is advertised is the upgraded unit, yet we pay the same price as an updated unit. So there is a bit of displeased feeling.This is our third year experience at Nonemen, for the first year, heat for the outside of ones apartment was provided by Nonemen (as it should be). Now the heat is turned off, so I am guessing Nonemen can save money.There is water damage on the ceiling of the building as well as in my apartment..... The paint due to summer humidity, chips off..... One has to ask questions: Why use the cheapest/crappy paint? Why not permanently fix the water damage on the roof? Why not provide the heat for the hallways as was done two years ago? Why not listen to your costumers who live there and only had the desire to make community a bit more homier?Sadly most of those can be answered by the greed of upper management of Nonemen.

Awful! They went into my apartment, while Im still paying my lease, on time, and just took all my stuff. Filing a police report and taking legal action if required. Never even all my years of renting have I had any issue. I pay my bills on time and am a single male with two jobs and never so much as had a noise complaint. The worst.
