I hadnt been the dentist in way too long and Aspen made it super easy to get back on track. I scheduled online with no issues and while I wasnt able to get the paperwork done online, it was easy to fill out at the appointment. They brought me back right one time, even a few minutes early, and started with X-rays. Each member of the staff was incredibly friendly and personable, but not in the awkward way where they ask you questions as they are cleaning your teeth :) They got me in and out pretty quickly and thankfully I didnt have to re-schedule my teeth cleaning for a later date. Thanks so much Aspen Dental! I will definitely be back.

The entire team at Aspen Dental was absolutely amazing. I came for a check up and was immediately greeted by the sweetest receptionist. Super pleasant to chat with. The technician taking my dental x-rays was so understanding and got everything done so quickly. The hygienist was very informative and keep me updated with everything going on. The dentist really took the time to explain everything to me and and knew her stuff. Everyone on staff really seemed to care. I was not originally scheduled to have a cleaning that day, but they were able to squeeze me in and I was able to get everything done! Nicest team and all very intelligent and passionate about their work. As a medical professional myself (veterinarian) it was nice briefly chatting in the hallway towards the end of my visit about medicated mouth wash and other strategies for better oral health. See you all in 6 months!

On a positive note, the staff is really nice. Thats about all this place has going for them. I kept going to this location because it was convenient but twice I have had to return to have fillings re-done within a few months of getting them. One filling literally came out of my mouth while I was flossing it. The last time I even had to PAY for the filling to be redone due to a miscommunication on their end. I always arrived a few minutes early and end up waiting. Dentists are literally running in and out of the rooms because they are so behind schedule and understaffed. To that end, I dont think I have ever had the same dentist twice - they seem to rotate through dentists very quickly. After the last experience of having to pay to fix the mistake of a dentist who doesnt even work there anymore, I will be taking my cavities elsewhere lol. I could go on and on about other issues but essentially, I would not recommend this place to anyone I care about.To Aspen customer service - dont give me a number to call unless theyre offering me a refund :)

I had a late appointed due to my earlier job. I contacted the office the day prior to my appointment and they were able to fit me in 5 hr earlier. Staff was great!

The staff were a bit unprofessional with me because I looked younger and was by myself. The people who were trying to do my filling seemed nervous and did not know what they were doing. They didnt fill in the cavity all the way and possibly drilled the hole incorrectly because its been many months and my tooth still aches sometimes. They are also rough with cleanings and had trouble with my check up. I had 3 questionable experiences so far. Not sure if I want to come back for anything...

Each and every staff member including Doctor were a joy, Never have I ever experienced such treatment. Especially when it comes to dental you have this fear...fear no more these professionals are what made me more trusty to their work.Truly will tell family and friends. Great job.

Quick & friendly staff, they are wonderful. Answering system is weird. Don’t show up 15 min early to an 8am appt (as suggested by the answering service) if they don’t unlock the doors until 8am.

Each time I have visited the Gandy office it has been an awesome experience. The staff is kind, friendly and informative. I switched dentist not too long ago because they were just running up my insurance. This ABSOLUTELY NOT the case with Aspen.My cleaning was amazing and my wisdom tooth extraction was done with care and efficiency. Definitely love this place and I hate the dentist, lol.

I’m completely on the fence of giving five stars because we’re all in COVID dental times, but truly believe the dentists and techs at Aspen deserve it.Pre-Covid I had a crown and a filling that was done so well I’d sing a sonnet about it, even after having to go back in to have the temp crown adjusted and seeing Jesus when said temp crown was removed. The staff was oh so accommodating and intuitive of the pain the patient goes through during such procedures, it was amazing. Truly a great crew, and I didn’t have to see them much since then. But then Covid hit and things went to hockey sticks.I also recently cracked a molar and went in to Aspen Dental. Crown prep for the win, as I expected. However, worse is that I ate a starburst a week later and it completely broke off said cracked portion of my tooth. Ew. Luckily no pain on my end, but insert a dramatic call to the dentist about it. Insert their logical response.I can tell the doctors are outmatched by the influx of post-Covid patients, and I saw this first hand when the drilling started this past week in my broken tooth when I wasn’t quite numb. However, the lovely doctor immediately stopped, put the needle in more of the right places, and continued only after I could take a right hook from Mike Tyson and not feel it. The dental techs were amazing, to include keeping an eye on my toddler, who I brought so she could learn the importance of brushing her teeth, but was too spell bound by the awesomeness of the crew to give a damn about that.It’s unfortunate that we’re dealing with a Covid environment and our dental folks are stretched thin. But having gone to this practice for numerous years, pre- and post-Covid, I’m so thankful of the talent they employ and their ability to accommodate the patient. And our little tag-a-longs. Outstanding crew. Dr. Arias is par none. They are legit, they’re patient-oriented, and they’re pros all around. Super appreciative of this crew.

My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM I was not seen until 12:45 which inconvenienced my day. I didn’t get done with my x days until 1:38 and walked out to leave when finished because they told me they couldn’t fit me in for a cleaning. I get to my car and I’m sitting in there for about 5 min - 10 min ( checking emails/calls) and they called and said they could get me in for cleaning that day. ( thankfullyI didn’t leave) I was happy about that! Overall the hygienist and others were friendly.

The internet ads stated they repair dentures. When they called and confirmed my appointment at the Tampa location i asked again do you repair dentures not made by Aspen? The customer service agent said yes they did.After an examination by a female dentist they wanted me to replace my 2 year dentures with new dentures from Aspen however she was unfamiliar with my current 10 dental implants that i received in California? Then i asked to repair my cracked current dentures and she refused stating we dont repair other dentists dentures. I stated thats not what the ad on the internet says. I was furious and walked out.I will never recommend this Aspen dental to anyone!!Donald A. Moshier

My first experience at Aspen Dental was enjoyable. When I first arrived Joe took my x-rays in a quick but diligent manner. Ann was the hygienist that looked at my teeth. Since this was my first visit I was not getting my teeth cleaned. Ann was friendly and I could tell she knew exactly what she was talking about. She explained to me what she was doing before she did it as well as explained the results. When I was leaving the woman at the front desk, Emily, had patience with helping me figure out my insurance and was also very polite. It is nice to know this Aspen Dental location has a friendly staff and I look forward to my next visit with them.

I visited here the other day to see if I wanted to make this my new dentist office. The guy at the front desk seemed a bit sick. Just before I was taken in the back for consultation, another employee there took the front desk attendant temperature. I believe he had a fever because when I came back out they had sent him home. I believe he told me his name was Trenton upon arrival. I hope this office hadn’t been allowing a contaminated employee to greet all their patients! I don’t think I’ll be coming back here although the general service was pleasant.

I am a new patient that would definitely recommend this dental practice. Receptionist Emily sat down and explained my whole bill to me; so there was no wondering what I was actually being charged for! Dental hygienist Bruna was wonderful; she provided excellent care that was not painful and took the time to explain what she was doing. She was also extremely thoughtful in helping me schedule my return appointments efficiently so that instead of having to return for two extra visits--I only had to return for one. They are awesome and I thank them!

I am a new patient at this dentist and can say that it has been my best dental experience so far. I chipped my tooth yesterday and they were able to get me in and fix in right away. Joe and Dr. Francisco communicated with me throughout the procedure and made sure I felt comfortable. After everything was complete, I couldn’t even tell my tooth was ever chipped. Will be returning for regular dental visits. Thanks guys!

Please, do not trust this office!!! I dont know why I waited so long to write this review. I am giving only one star because at least the office looks nice and clean but if it wasnt for that, I would give zero stars. I have been going to this dental office location for about two years. The first patient experice went well and that is the reason I went back, however, I wont forgive myself for going back to get services here. My dental hygenist (the blonde european lady) is awful! I dont even understand why she is certified to provide services at a dental office. Last time I went for a cleaning and check up, I left very traumatized with the experience. I am not a dentist, but I know the process of a dental cleaning and I dont understand why she ended up scratching four of my teeth with the dental pick on purpose right after the cleaning was done! The cleaning is basicaly done when you brush, floss and apply the floride, right? Then why did she go back with the pick to scratch my teeth right in the middle. She thought I wasnt going to notice??? I dont want to take this personal. I assume that she did that to make sure I would go back for a more expensive services in the future. But now, I am taking my business somewhere else! Also, I have an implant and she was treating it like it was a piece of rock that she needed to break. My gums were bleeding like crazy and I am a person that takes good care of my oral health. She didnt even take the x-rays correctly because the doctor had to ask her to do them again because she could not see some of my teeth in the pictures. When the doctor (the lady with way too much mascara and make up on) finally did my check up, she only took three seconds! She asked me to smile and that was it! She didnt even examine my gums or the teeth that were scratched by the dental hygenist just minutes before she came in! On top of that, the dental hygenist was trying to sell me things I did not need. I also took my son for the first time but he only got x-rays, which was another nightmare because I ended up paying more than the normal cost and they never explained to me why. But because I had a horrible last appointment, I did not schedule a cleaning for my teenage son. I did not want him to get his teeth scratched on purpose like that woman did to me, especially since he has never had a cavity or any dental issues before. I finally realized that this office is more focused on retail, sales and getting business than providing a good service and/or professional dental work experience for the patient. I know that over all, this is a business and you have to make money, I get it, but please do not do poor dental work or damage peoples teeth on purpose just to make sure they will come back to you for more services. That says a lot about your work ethic and the type of employees you have. I will never come back here or bring my family, and I wont ever recommend this place for services to anyone!

Office visit was VERY pleasant. To say im a coward in a dentist office is not nearly a strong enough statement. They were all very easy going explained everything thing very well . Never saw one NEEDLE, which probably saved somebody from going to the hospital. Lion no problem, king cobra no problem 15 ft great white no problem. A needle and were going to dance😠😠😠😠

Aspen Dental on West Gandy in South Tampa did a great job on my dental work! Long story short, I went in for a check up and cleaning and left with fillings and a oral fluoride rinse. The organization was able to change gears, accommodate all my needs and get me out of the office at a reasonable time. BEST DENTAL OFFICE IN TAMPA. Doctor and hygienist has a gentle touch and does great work! Can’t wait for my Zoom whiting kit next week!

Great experience. Everybody was very nice, and they recommend good treatment options. Also, they were very cautious with me on what to do & not to do, because I’m pregnant. Overall, had a great experience apart from talking to the person that deals with prices & insurance. They gave me information about how my insurance doesn’t cover cosmetics but, I knew for a fact that this specific cosmetic would be discounted through my insurance. She kind of acted a bit rude, because I had told her what I knew. But, it could be my hormones and maybe she wasn’t as rude as I thought.I just didn’t like that she assumed my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Also, it was a very painful gingivitis cleaning but at the end of it I’m so glad it was over with. My dentist did a great job with that, don’t think there was anyway to avoid the pain.Great people, kind of pricey but you get what you pay for. I’ll be staying with them, just moving to a closer location to my home.

The WORST, if I could give negative stars I would. Had a cleaning appointment scheduled for July 13th before I could get a cavity filled. Go to my appointment and they say they booked me under consultation instead of hygiene so I had to reschedule. Reschedule for end of July on a Saturday. Called to confirm my appointment and they tell me hours changed no longer open saturdays. Okay, reschedule my appointment for the 3rd tome for August 17th. Just got a call that they changed their hours once again and i had to reschedule. Now I need to find a new dentist because the hours do not work with my work schedule. So after waiting almost 2 months just for a cleaning I still will be waiting and will need to find a new dentist to start over. Unbelievable.

The biggest scam of my life. New patients DO NOT COME HERE. Dr. Patel seems lovely but the staff will try to find every little thing to get you to pay for. I just wanted a cleaning, and was there for 2 hours for them to run the stupid scans, and did not even get my teeth cleaned. I find out I have to come back for my cleaning in 2 separate visits and they don’t have availability for over a month... Unbelievable

Very friendly staff, terrible dental work. I had to go back every time I had work done here. One time they left a gap in my teeth and said “come back if it bothers you.” By the time I regained feeling in my mouth, I noticed that I had a gap so big that I was able to put the end of a q-tip between my teeth.I have had nothing but sensitivity and pain since I went to this dentist. The staff is very nice, but being nice does not make you a good dentistry.

Delta Dental is my new insurance provider so I opted to switch from my favorite dentist.After waiting on hold 20 minutes, I took the suggestion to schedule online. I scheduled a checkup appointment as I wanted my 6 month cleaning. Get to the office. Fill out forms again that I had prefilled online. Saw an xray tech, hygienest (checkup, not cleaning), and Dr.In all, I was at the office 2 hours, my teeth arent cleaned, and despite being in my network, I still have to pay cash out of pocket.2 stars because at least everyone was nice.......

Aspen Dental in Tampa is incredible. The staff is friendly and courteous. Dr. Scott is a sweetheart who truly cares and Orlando in the lab is a master at his craft. This is the first time in 33 years that my dentures were a perfect fit. You wont be disappointed if you give them a try. Their office is state of the art and beautiful and comfortable.

Dr.Scrham and his team is by far my absolute favorite! I just moved to the area and broke a tooth had no ins and no where to turn, until I called Aspen! From the time they answered my call I felt at ease and sure that this was the dentist for me..I was in horrible pain and one dentist had already took my money and sent me home with a prescription and i was in such unbearable pain! Well the receptionist at Aspen got me in for Emergency visit. Tooth was broken with exposed nerve. Dr.Scrham did his thing getting the tooth out and making me comfortable through the whole process. So thankful for Dr.Scrham and his staff 😘

Joe, Ann, and the dentist were very friendly. They explained things really well and were patient with my questions. The whole process far exceeded what I anticipated from a dental office in terms of customer service. Also, their equipment are very technologically up to date. The 3D scan was pretty cool!

Aspen Dental was wonderful. I went in as a first time customer for a cleaning. Its been 7 years since my last cleaning but they did all their xrays and scans very quickly. Joe was great and very friendly, he made it seem like nothing. After showing me the scans the hygienist Ann came in to talk with me about my gums, teeth, and problem areas. She was very knowledgeable and we made a care plan. After Dr. Melissa Jones came in to talk with me (extremely friendly and compassionate) I did some paperwork and Ann took me to start the cleaning. I later had 3 fillings done by Dr. Jones and Joe which went very smoothly. I had absolutely no issues with the office or staff and they were all incredible. Super friendly from the front desk to the doctor. I plan on making this my office of choice and will be back soon for my next check up!

I had an AMAZING experience. Reception was quick and Lauren the offic manager was very helpful with insurance and price planning. She worked with me about pricing and had answers for all my questions concerning insurance. My dentist, Anne was also amazing. She treated my gingivitis quickly--it was gone in a matter of days after treatment! She was also very informative about the whole process as she was working. Not to mention she has a very sweet personality.

I woke up one morning with an extreme pain in my jaw. Due to the pandemic I knew there would be some difficulty getting into an office, but I had an emergency. I called Aspen Dental in South Tampa, and Trenton answered. With the immense amount of pain I was going through, Trenton was able to get me an appointment that day to see Dr. Schram. With an abscess growing in the upper right portion of my jaw, Dr. Schram prescribed me an antibiotic to fight the infection so that I could have the tooth removed. A few days later when I arrived for the extraction, Trenton greeted me and had a dental assistant escort me back. I hate the dentist and dread going, but Dr. Schram and his awesome staff made it very welcoming and assured me that I was in great hands. An awesome touch this office offered was for me to listen to music of my choice to put me at ease, and it worked. The procedure was painless, and Dr. Schram really knew his craft. I would HIGHLY recommend this dental office to any and everyone. Kudos to Dr. Schram and Trenton for making a horrible situation, AMAZING. 10’s across the board for the tremendous job done from start to finish.

To start, I had an appointment to get some fillings and when I showed up no one told me what I had to pay so when I get there they charge me $150 for $100 that my insurance doesn’t cover and then $50 for a “deductible”. When I said I’m going to have to reschedule, Sean tells me they had to charge me 60% of $150 because I was going to reschedule (which was charged to my credit card). Charging me for a service that I DID NOT get done?? Not right and this shouldn’t be done. THEN when I call the VERY next day I spoke with Nelson and told him I wanted a refund because I am not going back there, he says it was processed and that it will take 7-14 business days. Why though because it was my credit card and should go back immediately?? Two weeks later I still didn’t have my refund and it wasn’t even being pending on my account. When I call back they said it was just on that day when I called TWO WEEKS LATER. Not to mention, when I checked with my insurance company, I found out all fillings were 100% COVERED. So why would Aspen Dental charge me as if I didn’t have insurance?? No problem taking my money but I have to go as far as calling Aspen Dental,My insurance Company, and then CORPORATE?? Just so Corporate can refund me the VERY next day. Aspen Dental charges people as if they don’t have insurance just to see how much money they can get out of their clients and not from the insurance company. Nelson and Sean were not helpful AT ALL. they lied to me, tried insurance fraud, and are incompetent because Nelson the manager, didn’t do his job when I called the first time. I do not recommend this place, or any Aspen Dental after this experience. From day one it has not been pleasant. The staff is very unprofessional, they talk about their daily life and having their mom take their nails off while clients are in front of them. I recommend that corporate come in and gut out the staff to make it more professional and less lazy.

I had a great experience with Aspen Dental, from beginning to end. Joe took all of my initial x-rays. He was very quick and efficient. Then past me off to Ann and Dr. Jones. They thoroughly explained everything on the charts and the next steps to take place rather than just going ahead without my understanding. It was an all around great experience. I got my smile back. They will be seeing me again in 6 months. More than pleased with this dentist office.

Beginning with the excellent reception of the Office Manager, Nelson, to the very friendly and caring DA, Javonna J., the experience was outstanding. I was also extremely impressed with the in-depth assessment and care of Dr. Radner as she went the extra mile to study and re-evaluate prior dental x-rays in an attempt to better understand my situation. Her re-evaluation ended up saving me a lot of time (and pain :D ), and Im very grateful for her professionalism and attentiveness to detail. Because of this great experience, I will be requesting her service for future care.

Simply amazing place to go for all dental procedures!! The most friendly and helpful people work here. The staff was so detailed oriented and the pricing was very affordable. I was completely satisfied with the services. I would recommend Aspen Dental off of Gandy in Tampa,Fla to family and friends!!!!

The technology and the tools were new and exciting, the staff was pleasant but I did not like the new patient experience. For starters, you’re there for about two hours and you’re not even guaranteed a cleaning. I just wanted a cleaning but had to wait hours for it, going through a checkup where they try and find things for you to pay for. When it came down to the cleaning, it was legitimately the worst cleaning experience I have had in my life. I love the dentist and appointments (weird, I know) but this was awful. The hygienist poked and prodded so hard, I was bleeding constantly. I floss everyday without bleeding and go to my appointments every 6 months like clockwork so I know it wasn’t me. It was so painful, I’ve been taking Ibuprofen for the past 18 hours since because my gums are so sore and throbbing. Honestly can say it was the worst cleaning I have ever had.

I was first hesitant to go to an Aspen Dental chain because I’ve been going to the same dentist back home for years, but I had a great experience! The staff was very friendly, they were efficient yet thorough, and they were very knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back.

I love Aspen dental....i am a huge sissy when it comes to the dentist..but not anymore...Thanks Dr. Jones, Jesse, Trenton and the young lady that sits next Trenton, and one of the coolest people I know Ann!!!!!!...Ann did my cleaning and it couldnt feel more comfortable then it did..she made me laugh and by the time I knew it, we were done...she really is the best. ....i cant thank her enough...i havent been able to stop staring at my smile in the mirror. ...Trenton the office manger sits with you at check out to go over your dental plan of care...he takes the time to explain payment options and anwser any questions you may have.........From check in to check out the customer service is really impeccable...i was also, soooo impressed by how professional and nice the entire staff was at my visit...i live in St. Pete and drive all the way to the Gandy office just because they are worth it....You just cant find that customer service and dental care anywhere....i was also impressed by the way they were handling patients during the pandamic....masks are required till the exam and everyones temperature is checked before going to the back....i highly recommend Aspen dental 100 percent.....i cant thank them enough....

Best dentist office. It’s really cool they have TVs on all the chairs. Ann was awesome and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Definitely won’t be going to any other dentist offices anytime soon.

Aspen Dental I a RIP OFF ! ! ! 3 years ago I had a root canal & a cap installed for over $1,400. Within a month the cap fell off because the dentist removed too much of the original tooth to keep the cap glued to. I refused to pay them & never will.Last week I went to Aspen dental to get a filling & they told me they couldnt save the tooth, & I would have to have all my teeth pulled & replaced with dentures for $ 9,312 ! ! ! ! !I went to another dentist & he told me I didnt need ANY teeth pulled & didnt need any work done at this time & DEFINITELY should not get dentures, and this Doctor makes his money by doing dental work ! ! ! !

The staff at Aspen dental are all really nice. Their goal is to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They achieve that with me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for new dental.

OK. But be careful about procedures.Visited for the purpose of annual cleaning for my spouse. We noticed good reviews about facility and wanted to give it a try. Facility was clean, staff was good but as expected there was no option of opting basic cleaning.As most of the dentist office says, everyone on earth always need a deep cleaning, same seems to be true here.Again, deep cleaning in 30 minutes and single visit raises some serious questions, like if it was really needed in first place. We agreed to whatever was done that day seeing the time we already invested in xray and evaluation (approx 2 hours).This is our personal experience and it may not be true for others. Hope that others will be happy.

My dental hygienist Ann, was very knowledgeable and thorough.. she did such a nice job cleaning my teeth I feel like a new person! I’m excited to see her again in 6 months .... and a day! 😜
