I went in for a $70.00 alignment and left with new upper and lower ball joints (did not need), and a $1,000 receipt. How is it that I found an ENTIRE steering kit online for $300, including upper and lower ball joints, yet the “special” ones that they got for me were $100 a piece? Where does it say in the shop that each ball joint will be $100 of labor costs? Please, if someone could let me know, that’d be great. Overall, one of the worst shops in Sioux Falls and does not ever deserve 5/5 stars.

I am new to the area. The air conditioner compressor in my 2003 Honda Civic needed replaced. They did a fine job at fairly reasonable rate and extended Veterans discount. I will go back for other repairs.

My muffler came off while traveling through the area. They dropped everything and fixed it so I could get back on the road. 5 other places would not help me in the Sioux Falls area. I am so grateful to them. I was able to see my brother in Minneapolis and have dinner. Without their help, it would not have happenedThank you for your over the top customer service. Rick

I had a water pump replaced a week ago. I started leaking antifreeze around the water pump again so I brought it back. TMA fixed the leak for no charge; no questions asked.They could have made up a story about some other problem, but they stood behind their work. THAT is why I bring my vehicles here - ethical, honest, and high integrity.

Very friendly and responsive! Came in to get a second opinion on an air conditioning problem that Sioux Falls Ford told me would take 3 grand to fix. They quoted me a price of around 400! Ill never take my vehicles anywhere else!

One of the best local automotive shops in town. They are honest, price competitive, and willing to go the extra mile to test your car. Ive had only great experiences with TMA, and I recommend that everybody gives them a shot! Added bonus is they always seem to have a loaner car to borrow when theyre working on yours.

An honest automotive repair shop. How refreshing.Brought my car in for an oil change and to check for bad brake rotors. As I am from Texas, it would have been very easy for them to just put new rotors on and make a bunch of money. Instead, they said they couldnt find anything wrong and simply charged me for the oil change.I wish I could do business with them all the time.Highly recommended.

What else can I say about them! They do the work you ask them, explain what was done, and charge accordingly! They stayed late to finish my BMW so that I could get to work that night. You dont find service like that anywhere else. I will repeat my business with them again. Tom and the rest of the staff are also extremely helpful and friendly.

Do not go here. I took my 2011 GMC Acadia that had severe shaking in the steering wheel while braking and I walked away with a list that did not include the one cause. Turns out the rotors caused the shaking. I know because I replaced the rotors when I got home and all shaking stopped. I didnt give them a penny. I was surprised they didnt charge me for just looking at it. Here are some things on the list because they did name some things that I did know needed to be done. But the list below I did have a mechanic friend of mine look at it and he said there nothing wrong with that listed parts.1 front sway bar links loose2 front sway bar bushing loose3 both front lower control arms with bushingsSo I came up with 2 conclusions since they didnt tell me about the rotors and they probably figured I could do that my self since. They did notice I put new brake pads on the back so they knew they werent going to make money off of that. When I did ask whats causing the shaking I was told its a combination of the things. But my conclusions:1 They didnt tell me about the rotors because they were trying to make money off me they told me it would cost $1000.2 They were trying to scam me because if you look at other reviews on here some of them essentially say the same thing.

I typically had great service through TMA, mainly because of Gavin. Gavin is my go to guy for everything and if anything isnt done completely right, he makes it right. Didnt have such good of luck with Warren one time and he laughed at me when I tried to explain something to him. I am not a complete idiot when it comes to cars and to be laughed at made me not want to return for a while.

I was on a road trip and was getting tire pressures warning. It was warm where I live and just got new tires to be safe on the road. Here in the cold weather they wouldnt come up to minimum cold pressure even after constant freeway speeds.I looked up and found TMA online. They aired my tires up to my specs for free!!Very nice place and great people.

Weve been going to the TMA east location on and off (lived out of town a couple times) for almost 20 years. They can do just about everything except for transmission rebuilds, and will stand behind their work. Highly recommend.

This is the worst car service area... please if you love your car and money, don’t take it to these guys.. Any time I take my car there, I come home with a new problem.. I have spend up to $1000 fixing one problem to another and some time while fixing the car, they will tell you that there’s another problem on it that need to be fix first before getting to your originally problem. Currently I have two problems on my car right now, I have actually given up on them, now I’m looking for a new mechanic...

Spent over $400 FOR A $38 wheel bearing and power steering hose. Cruise control worked on the way there, didnt when I left .

These guys are a rip off. They quoted us for an alignment which I know is needed, but we also needed some other small stuff done as well, well over $1000.00+ which is ridiculous! Their a complete rip-off as whos going to pay $1300 for an alignment alone on a 2004 F150? Not me! Go elsewhere if youve got any sense!

This T.M.A is a horror story! I took my automobile here to get fixed and 650$ later and I drive off with the same problem I payed to get fixed. Then They wanted to charge me another 550$ to fix something that still would have not corrected the issue. Unless you have loads of cash to waste stay clear!

I have purchased 2 sets of tires there since living on the east side of town and havent had any issues whatsoever. To the above poster that had to use rude language maybe you shouldnt talk so brazenly. Id imagine if you spoke to anyone that way theyd say see ya. All to often theres always more to the story. For the record Ive been dealing with them for over 4 years and have dealt with Marv in there when I worked with him at Grahm Tire on the South end of town 15yrs ago and have always had a good experience with them. Yout treat someone the way you want to be treated. .

Dont trust their diagnostics. Apparently I am not the first one to come here to share this frustrating story.They fixed the car for $450, then my wife got to the fixed car and notice that the water level was low in their parking in lot. THEY DIDNT EVEN CHECK FOR WATER LEVEL!!! 3 days later, the same issue came up and they quoted $1200 to fix the problem they didnt fix at the first place. I am really frustrated. After all I took my car to another shop and they fixed their half ass job for $600. Stay away from this guys...
