I cannot stress enough about this business it is great and wonderful they treat their customers wonderfully. On Friday night when my husband and I both got home from work with both kids we came home to the pipes broken in our basement leaking water everywhere we called several places and all we were told is that they couldn’t get us in until the next day. We called Howes and Micah came out I was able to Identify the issue and immediately fix it. During his time in our house he was not only very professional and kept us up-to-date on what was going on but he also interacted with our two kids. One who was asking him a lot of questions! Will definitely be using this place again when we need to cannot recommend this place enough!!

Our AC unit stopped running right before a string of 90+ degree days. We called Howe and got a friendly, helpful response and FAST service - we were up and running again before the heat of the day! Jim is knowledgeable and experienced, and he’s easy to talk to - he explained the work he did and suggested things we could do to make sure the unit continues running well. Great technicians and great customer service. The technician was able to solve a confusing but ultimately simple issue with our furnace to get it working again. A different HVAC company came first and didnt do anything to troubleshoot, they suggested fully replacing our HVAC system for $12-18k.

On one of the hottest days of the Summer, how was able to send someone out on a Friday afternoon. Other places couldn’t send anybody out for a few business days. Not only did they send out someone in a Friday afternoon, the employee they sent was professional and very helpful. I had to have my water heater replaced in my very small, half dirt 1948 style basement. This involved figuring out how to drain the water out of the old one since I have no drain downstairs, then hauling the very heavy old and new heaters up and down very steep and narrow steps. I never heard one word of complaint from the guys even tho I’m sure I’d have plenty if I’d been the one having to do the work. Not only did they do great work but they were very polite and respectful throughout the whole process.

I called around and got several different quotes. I had applied with my bank for the loan and this took a month and a half. Everybody else that quoted me had a price hike the next month after the quote. Howe, Inc., was still the cheapest and honored their quote from a month and half ago. The quality of the product they installed, and the quality of the work is outstanding. I will definitely do business with them in the future. Had a little trouble keeping in contact with the guy that did my quote, but I attribute this to him just being busy.

Our air conditioning have been out for five days and we cannot get the help we needed we called them today and they came out this afternoon we are so grateful they were very professional and kind and explained the process as they were repairing the AC they even help me with another concern I had on running efficient energy. Standard check up on the a/c and furnace. Fella was professional and courteous. Gave us some tips as far as keeping our a/c clean as well as furnace filters. Cost was $127.80.There rate if I recall right is $120 for the first hour and $110 each consecutive.

About a year ago our furnace fired up for the last time. It was dead, dead, dead. That furnace was installed in 1956, and it was used then. Find the correct parts was just about impossible.Since it was spring and the weather was warming up, we opted to find a replacement, and we could take our time doing it.We explored alternatives like a wood/coal fired boiler, Geo-thermal, Straight electric, etc. We also got estimates from different companies.While we didn’t go with the least expensive, we went with what would be the best value. Not just initial cost but in after the sales service, and of course cost of operation.We went with Howe inc. We couldn’t be more please. The price that was quoted was the price we paid. They provided wonderful service after the sale. Most important, our propane usage was cut by half!Thank you Howe inc. for stepping up. And being a great company to work with.

Have used Howe in the past. They installed our new furnace a few years back and put in our new bathroom sink and vanity last year. So when our AC started making a horrible noise I knew exactly who to call. Service is always prompt and friendly and they do an awesome job!

Howe did a complete replacement of my heating and cooling HVAC system. I had a accepted a proposal from a different company, but in the end they dropped the ball and failed to get the job scheduled after many contact attempts from me. I called Jarod at Howe and explained the situation and the urgency (we were heading into a long heat wave) and he was extremely responsive to get a comparable system designed and quoted. Once I accepted the proposal, the system was installed in less than a week which is amazing for this time of year. The installation staff was knowledgeable, careful, and professional. The installation team worked tirelessly to get everything installed and functioning in one day!The system is surpassing our expectations as did the service and support we received from Howe. Would recommend them for your project 100%!

New furnaces a year ago from Howe and one was not working. In less than 24 hours, Jim arrived to evaluate and repair. Ended up being a spider web creating an issue with heating properly. When the August heat spiked and our AC went kaput, Jarod over at Howe worked with me to get the issue resolved ASAP. He was extremely helpful and the technicians Gus and Calvin did excellent work installing a new furnace and AC.They even pointed out a vent that was blocked by shoddy work (from a different company) and took care of that. Quality work, attention to detail.Same goes for Mike, who recently replaced a garbage disposal.I will definitely look to Howe in the future.

We called Howe on Monday morning to fix a leak between our bathroom and laundry room. They were able to fit us in the next day for repairs. Shane was very polite, explained the issue and was able to fix the issue quickly. We will continue to be a Howe customer and encourage others to be as well.

When I first moved into my house I did not realize that the heating and cooling system was installed improperly until I had to spend last winter being cold! I had called three different well-known Sioux Falls Area Heating and Cooling places to see if my furnace could be reinstalled properly and then get a new Cooling system. One-place flat-out refused the second place said they would but that it would cost twice as much as what how Heating and Cooling had estimated.. The third-place had somebody come out and give an estimate make an appointment to redo the furnace and putting new air conditioning but they never showed up. And then when I called to reschedule I never got any return calls back. My neighbor had used how to have her furnace replaced and had only good things to say about them so I asked her to give them my phone number. They called me the next day set up an appointment to come out and give me an estimate and then two weeks later Had the A Team come out reinstall the furnace properly and put in a new cooling system at a very reasonable price. I am so happy and so grateful for Howe Heating & Cooling and the team of professionals they sent out to take on this task! I have only good things to say about them and would highly recommend Howe Plumbing Heating and Cooling!

I woke up on a Sunday morning to a leaking dishwasher that wasn’t even being used, just leaking. Howe Inc. was right on top of my problem. The gentleman came to my house and fixed the problem immediately and disposed of my bad dishwasher for me. I no longer wanted the dishwasher so he also made sure that the plumbing to the dishwasher was off and capped off properly before he left and had checked it for leaking several times before leaving my home.
