Very clean, good service and personable. I had the pleasure of having Mary do my fill in Gel and she did not disappoint. She was so nice and did an amazing job on my nails.

I have been going to this salon since they opened many years ago. I have had countless bad experiences, but honestly returned due to convenience. I’m a mom to two kids and a business owner where my spare time is precious. Mary, the owner, has been curt to me repeatedly, and I have watched her rude interactions over the years. The customer service is lacking for sure. The final straw for me was this past week. I called Tuesday morning for an appointment and was told to come in at 2:30. I arrived and was yelled at like I was a child for touching my nail polish without washing my hands. I noticed there were 4 other people with their feet soaking that hadn’t been touched yet. As I walked back up front, I was barked at to sit down and wait. At 3:00 I still had not been started for my pedicure. The other nail techs had just started on the other people waiting for pedicures, and I knew it would be at least another thirty minutes before I was seen. I walked out. I’m not waiting an hour for a set appointment nor being talked to like a dog when I’m a paying customer. This isn’t the first time I’ve been treated this way but it’s certainly my last.

Very unprofessional. Made a reservation and waited outside for more than 20 minutes. I ended up walking away because they didn’t sit me down at the specified time I asked for a reservation. The whole point of a reservation is to have room for someone at that time. They completely show ignorance, lack of respect, and professionalism when it came to service. DO NOT GO HERE. There are many other better nail salons in the area. Go to one that actually speak English and can communicate with you during the appointment.

I have had great experience here yesterday. Thank you Lisa for my manicure and pedicure. It is my first visit to this place and of course I will come back. My friend brought me at this salon and she told me that last time also Lisa did her manicure, and my friend was very happy.

Have been seeing Jayden for over a year and he never disappoints. He can do any nail art I bring him. He also has figured out a way to keep my nails from chipping from using so many sanitizers and cleaners. He is truly amazing....

If I could put a zero I would…I don’t leave reviews but this requires one. Considering most places are popping on a weekend, that’s to be expected…however we had an appointment. That appointment didn’t mean anything, not only did I wait in a chair with several people walking in being seated before me, keep in mind I sat for 45 mins, I had my mother waiting in a chair with her feet soaked for 45 mins with NO ONE saying anything or service. I’m out of town visiting, and I’ve never had an experience like this.

The rudest nail technicians work here. I asked to further explain their pedicure options and was told read it yourself. The owner was very rude. I’ll never return

They do good work here, but it seems that they try to squeeze too many people in. I had an appointment and still had to wait nearly 1.5 hours after soaking my nails. The owner, I think, kept saying she was behind, well, if thats the case, QUIT TAKING WALK INS, especially on the weekends. Im sorry, but my time is just as valuable as the next persons, so I have decided to not go back. Also, one time, a mother and young daughter came in to get mani/pedis. They let them start soaking their feet. Then it got really busy and the owner, again I think thats who she is, told the mother that they didnt have time to do her daughters toes since they were behind. They could only do her fingernails. The little girl was devastated. That is so wrong.

Made an appointment midday on a Thursday, waiting 45 minutes, still hadn’t been seen, told 15 moreMinutes but I walked out. They should honor appointment times. Will not return.

Ive had great experiences here! Salon can get busy at times, but I started calling ahead for appointments and theyre very good at sticking to your appointment time. Love the staff!

Went to have my nails done by the owner. She ask me what was the name of my color which I was wearing. I didnt know the name and she replied back *Oh good grief *. After she started she continued answering the phone then stopped to do some work on the other colors Which I thought was very unprofessional and rude ! My nails are not shaped evenly either ! Very poor customer care!!! I will not be returning nor do I recommend this nail salon !!!!!

So I usely go to the Nail Bar in Simpsonville and never have a problem! Today they was booked up and it was last min so I couldn’t get in so I decided to go here since there was no wait. Big mistake! Lady was rude as hell. Not friendly at all. Seem to think she was doing me a huge favor by doing my nails yet I was the one paying her $65 dollars! She cut me many times ( I have four cuts on my hand to be exact) she couldn’t carry a conversation & rushed my service which I was ok with bc I was ready to get out of there. My “ombré nails” are just white nails! Will never ever waste my time or money on this place again and honestly don’t suggest anyone else to!

My wife went there today and called me after, crying, when I was at work... Turns out she tried to get service, apparently people working there pretended they didn’t understand what she was asking to have done, the owner steps up only to blame it on her, she was rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and raised her voice at her in front of all other people at that place... She felt so bad that she only wanted to rush out of there, didn’t even get all she wanted to have done. NOBODY should be treated like that; there are MANY reviews just like this out there, so it is clearly a pattern, a place like this SHOULDN’T be out there earning our money, they are awful...To anybody thinking about going there, and coming across this review, think it twice and STAY AWAY, not worth it to put out with all this, take your business somewhere else!

Had to go back after 2 days because the polish was chipping off. Employees did not seem happy & were rude.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! I was trying to explain to the manager of this place (A woman with black hair and glasses) what I wanted for my nails, and she raised her voice to me In front of everyone just because she couldn’t understand what I was explaining! She was RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! Although there are other good people working there, I won’t go back because of her!

You may experience a bit of a wait. however Mary is very honest about wait times even with an appointment you can experience a wait, for me its worth the way she does a fantastic job great staff, excellent products, very clean. I am very picky and highly recommend Five Fork nails.

I have had 2 pedicures at Five Forks Nails. Both times by Linda. She does an amazing job. Im on my feet all day long working and my feet are definitely a big job to take on. She is so thorough and very aware of all of my problem spots. She is very gentle which is good because I am ticklish! The atmosphere along with a pedicure made me almost fall asleep each time Ive been there. I definitely suggest this nail salon. Its clean, relaxing and the staff is very friendly. The employees all seem very joyful and happy 😊 Thanks Linda!

I went in on a Sunday afternoon, pretty busy but sort of accommodating. I waited around 30 mins. When I sat down I showed Kim the pic that I wanted. She used coffin shape tips (I wanted square) and then charged me an extra $5 for the “shape” of the nails. She also cut me in several places and never once said she would deduct or that she was sorry. My full acrylic set was $65. I nearly fell over when she told me the price. I will not be going back. They really should have their prices posted because I can get the same set (& better quality) at Top Spa Nails by Kevin for $40.

Nice chairs is about it. Went twice. Both times, were easily the worst I have had in over 10 years of pedicures from several locations in several states. The first time was just a bad pedicure - girl rough, cut me. They were new and I thought I would try again with a different girl. The 2nd time was unbelievably bad. We asked and they said they could take us. I sat in the chair in cold water for 45 minutes while my friend got her toes done (upgraded package) and ready for polish before they even started me. The girl cut her twice. She bled pretty good on one. I sat there as the jet cap popped off a few times so I got sprayed with water. Pulled my feet out since they were pruning. I switched to a basic pedicure while she waited. The girl was new. When she was done, I had to sit there and wait to be painted by someone else. My friend walked to get coffees and came back while I sat there. The girl that finally painted my toes had been working on someone else who came in after my friend was done. Would have left but my toes were half done at that point and we wanted to see how bad it could get! Almost 2 hours!

I was regular, but they recently lost my business all together. I called to schedule an appointment ahead of time. I just wanted to get a quick eyebrow waxing, nothing crazy. I load my daughter up, the stroller, diaper bag, and as soon as I get there they said, come back in five hours. I would understand if I had just walked in the door, but I called in advance. That was the one thing I did for myself. Im sure you mamas can understand how disappointing/frustrating that can be! Especially when you are hauling around a spider-monkey. 😩

Called at the last minute, as my last nail technician at another place hadnt been available, and was told I could come right in. I was promptly asked to select a color (gel) from the incredible number of options and Vivi (the nail technician who greeted me) helped me find just the right shade. She was courteous and pleasant with me. I noted that she was cvry efficient and detailed in her treatment of my nails, from removing the former gel to cleaning and reapplying a new color. It was much faster service than I have experienced, which I found really great. Yet, I didnt feel she was rushing through the process whatsoever - in fact, I noted she kept checking for accuracy. I definitely will go back. The facilities are very modern and comfortable and again, whether I am going for the powder application (which they had more colors than Ive ever seen) or the gel, I will return regularly.

I am very satisfied with my pedicure, on Saturday afternoon. A lady named Whitney, did a very great job on my feet, and I do recommend her. Mary, the owner is So Sweet, and professional. I love this place, and will be back, over and over. The best pedicure, at a great price. You get great service at this place, sometimes youve got to wait, because theyre so busy. Great Place!!!! Gel manicure was done poorly and had to be redone, second time didnt even last 1 week. Pedicure polish done poorly and had to he redone as well, and was still lumpy.

Im reluctantly giving 4 stars instead of 3 because it was a very clean place and I really enjoyed my pedicure... but I also experienced the price hike when I was paying. If your prices have increased you should update your price list... otherwise youre just taking advantage of people who are mislead about the cost of your services. I was going to get a manicure as well but I was overcharged $10 and then was ignored, so I left. 🤷‍♀️

Very neat and very professional! They have so many options for the dipping powder and they are all so pretty! Kim did my nails and was very helpful and kind! My boss actually recommended 5 fork nail and Im in love will definitely be back!!!!

Horrible customer service...Jayden is the ONLY nail tech their I would recommend people to ask for... his nails last a long time ...besides him I would Not recommend anyone else unless you want very basic services ....boss lady at the front desk has horrible customer service skills so if u decide to go to this place be prepared to ignore her... the nail techs will not tell u what they can’t do SO be prepared for high prices and a below par nail outcome... Again I have only received consistent good service from Jayden he is the one with the pink arm rests at his table... and you need to call in advance to make an appointment with him because he is usually booked ... ALL THE OTHERS fall below my expectations

This is the best nail salon in the 5 Forks area. It is very clean and has a spa-like vibe. Best pedicure Ive had. Have not tried manicure yet.I recently got gel nails and there was a problem with them not being even. Mary redid my nails at no cost. She did a great job.

I went to get pedicure and had to wait 20 minutes. I had no interaction with nail tech. This was my first and last visit here. I was asked to pay for my pedicure before my feet could even dry. As I waited they never asked any other customer to pay first I will never do business here again. The worst in service and atmosphere.

Don’t go unless you plan to wait longer than your service takes. And whatever wait time they give you add twenty minutes to it. Had to get up and walk out on numerous occasions after waiting longer than I’ve been told I will have to. Also have made an appointment and still sat for a half an hour. Will not be returning.

Wanted an appointment at 10 got one at 11, came at 11 they made me wait an hour when i asked how long it’s going to be she said “you can wait” then ignored me and rolled her eyes at me. never seen such an disrespectful attitude towards a customer. they definitely lost me and other girls that were planning on going there. doing this never again.

Very clean facility and nice staff. I have been going to this salon regularly for over a year and have always been pleased with services. But beware, expect to wait as owner tends to accept more clients than her technicians can service in timely manner. I have seen this happen several times. Today I called ahead for 100 appointment for mani and pedi. My service began at 1:50. Time to look elsewhere.

The lady who did my nails was so aggressive to the point 3 of my fingers started to bleed. She rushed me so much. Then the pedicure. I should’ve just walked out. I sat here for over 30 minutes before somebody finally came over to adjust my water temperature. It cost $95 to get acrylics and a pedicure. It’s overpriced and some of the staff are incredibly rude. I will not be returning.

The owner was extremely nice. We got there before they actually opened, we were welcomed warmly. This is not like other fast service nail salons, it actually has a spa feeling to it. Very clean !!!

We have been a couple of times and the service has been excellent. My family member is really sensitive and they treat her beautifully. Everyone is helpful and actually listens to how you like you nails done.

I got my nails done and they didn’t get my nails right. I asked for coffin style and it didn’t turn out that way. I asked for a design when he first started doing my nails and I paid for it but then when he started doing my nails he did NOT put my design on. My nails are not covered all the way in polish either there are several places they missed and the gel they used did NOT cover my nails again they missed several places. He moved me to the drying station and when I tried to get my phone he angrily grabbed it and told me to go. This was the worst experience i’ve had😡

I wanted regular nail polish for my younger sisters nails and they told me it would only last 2 days (of course trying to get me to get something that cost more). The lady was very rude when I said I did not want to change to something else, she rolled her eyes and shook her head at us. Then the other guy and girl continued to be rude about my sisters color choice and made my younger sister upset. The other employees were nice besides the young women who was rude to us from the start. But it is not worth wasting your money for rude service. We left before she even got her nails done.

I dont understand the negative reviews. This place is clean and efficient. It can get busy, of course, but Ive never waited longer than 15 minutes even without an appointment. Ive been here 4-5 times and this is now my go to salon.

Gave me different shades on my toes and nails, when I brought this to her attention she was sooo rude! Stated that this was the color I chose when in reality they brought over two different shades. All around bad experience.

I never complain about my nails but today is an exception. I went in to get dip and asked for a color that was pure white. However the color the tech started putting on was a more pink and white and I asked would it change as time went on and he said yes. However at the end of my time it was clear my nails were bubble gum pink. I said “this is not the color I wanted I asked for #60” the tech insisted this is the one I asked for. I did not. I wanted white not bubble gum pink. The tech also cut my nails so low it hit nerve on several nails and my thumb is still sore from him filing down so much. Tech also missed half of my thumb in the dip so now my nail looks deformed. I also wasn’t uncomfortable with the male tech consistently telling me to smile. I had a headache and wasn’t feeling well. I was not rude and even tipped however I’m very unsatisfactied. also the owner was being very rude to customer on the phone. I’m going to stick to polished in Greenridge.

I had a very bad experience with them today. I had a 5:30 appointment to which I called to confirm and the reception is told me that my nail technician was not there. He politely told me that other nail technicians were there that could assist me and to come on in for my appointment. When I got there there was one person being serviced and two nail technicians there. They proceeded to tell me that they would not service me and that I should come back on Monday. I couldnt believe it. Im still trying to figure out why they couldnt service me. When I asked, they told me that they were booked for the rest of the evening. My question is why does your sign say that you can accept walk-ins but you cant service an appointment. They didnt even offer me another appointment time for Saturday! They merely told me no and told me to come back next week. Im trying not to be upset and draw a conclusion based upon the obvious but I cant help myself. I do not know why I was treated this way tonight!

The space is really pretty and clean but the pedicure left a lot to be desired. With had to wait over 30mins which i understand but makes it even harder to justify a bad pedicure. I even upgraded to a more expensive pedicure and felt like it was not worth it at all. They barely rub your legs and didnt rub my feet at all. The person complained the whole time about being sick and kept talking about throwing up which isnt really a good way to relax. I was also with someone who had her daughter with us and they were far from friendly with her. I felt like they were talking down to her.

This nail salon is awful. Customer beware! First visit polish came off of nails after a few days. Several months later gave them a second chance. Solon tech obviously didn’t know what he was doing. Among other things polish buckled and peeled by that afternoon. Bottom of foot still rough. I went back to talk to Mary, the manager (or owner). She was rude and didn’t seem to care. Insisted on addressing it in front of customers. Said that she would fix it but would not refund money. Given my time restraints just wanted a simple refund. As I said she was rude and unbending. Be careful folks this not a place that cares about the customer and the quality of work was awful. What makes this worse is that the tech knew it was a bad job thinking that I wouldn’t noticed.

It’s nice, but cold. Customer service felt forced. No one smiles or talks.

I just had to share with everyone what a wonderful experience I had at this salon. The owner and technicians are super sweet and chatty, and make you feel so welcome! The place is sparkly new, and so clean and nice. They take their time and really pamper you. Go here for all your mani and pedi needs, you will be well taken care of.

I was just at this shop today! They have 15 workers and some don’t speak English and can’t do pedicures. I am african America so I choose a light pink color. And I am a light skinned black girl and since the lady who really messed up my polish couldn’t speak English the Owner with the short bob ( black hair) tells me to choose a darker pink because it takes a lot for it to show up on dark nails. BUT HEAR AGAIN I AM A LIGHT SKIN BLACK GIRL! My hands and nails are very light. So she fixed it.I said so do you have certain nail polishes for certain races?I said Lady I have chosen this color many of times at other nail salons that are better than yours and they had no problem painting the color on. She (short black hair)has a personality like a piece of WOOD! The owner is not friendly/or kind.I’ve been here like 3 times and it’s been the same way. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt.Nail shops are on every corner , so she will Never get a dime of my money again. I mean all Vietnamese people can’t do Pedicures. But I noticed she treat WP’s with Dignity. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to my anyone, not even my PET!

I was a regular for about 2 years and the quality of work and customer service has gone down drastically. It’s a complete waste of money I wouldn’t recommend this nail salon to anyone anymore.

Don’t bother! Made an appointment showed up at that time and they said ok. Other people waiting but the worker said they were aware of our appt. another woman and her daughter came in and said they had an appointment too. The worker called my name that our chairs we’re ready and they other woman with the appt grabbed them. The worker did nothing to stop it so we left. Very disappointed. Will not return.

My experience was terrible. My acrylic nails lasted 1 week when they are supposed to last more than 2 weeks. During the process, they cut my finger and made my finger start to bleed. They made excuses like “it isn’t good because I was hungry”. The service was terrible, we waited 20 extra minutes than we were told. They didn’t even do what I asked them to do, to simply round them out more in the corners. They just ignored me. Overall, not a good experience.

Went here for first time one week ago. “Mary” gave me French dip manicure, which looked well done but she so rough in the handling my nails and cuticles, my fingers were sore afterwards.

Not impressed by the staff! Went in for a manicure and when I told the lady I wanted to take my acrylics off,she got mad and made some other person do it. When she came back, she wanted to do my nails in her way, in a color that I didn’t want to. Didn’t listen to what I had to say. Also made me notice, how bad spoke they are about their customers. Which shows no professionalism. Wouldn’t consider or ever reccomend this nail salon. Driving to another nail salon that displays professionalism would be the best thing to do!!!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I could have and should have done better at home. The polish was all over my nails and very poorly painted on. When I went to show the owner she said “you messed it up because you weren’t careful.” There are clearly no smudge marks from “not being careful” it was just a horrible job. They also cut my finger.

The lady I had there was very rude. I asked if I could sit near my family her response was cant. This is my station okay?. Also I asked for gel nail polish, but she used regular nail polish with gel top coat. My nails look awful they are all bumpy and the polish chips so easily. Never going back there again.

I wanted to have a pedicure /manicure had a busy day so I make sure to be there early to my surprise they set the water for the Pedicure and let me with my feet in the water for 1 hours and 30 minutes at the time they finish with hand and feet I spent 4 1/2 hours and the lady that did my nail was rushing after they make me wait and did a sorry job to the point that I when to my car and came back to get them fix.

Always someone available within minutes and everyone does a nice job.

We got there at 3 and they said they were open til 6 but didnt have time for 2 full sets and a polish on a 6 year old. There were only 2 people waiting. Not sure about appts, but with someone working every station youd think they can do 2 sets & a polish in less than 3 hours even with appts. Went over to kv nails & spa and got right in between their appts and were almost done.

Went in for pedi. Nice salon but she did not do a good job. I walked out & went right back in when I noticed. The girl apparently in charge told me you cant get good 1 visit. She didnt do my pedi, she didnt look at my feet. Just made excuses. I get a pedi s all the time....never leave upset. They were busy & rushed so once I paid they didnt care. I wont go back.
