I give 4 stars only because of the waiting time and I feel it was pretty expensive. It was our first vet visit ever, so I am not sure if this is just normal or not. ~$300 for diagnosis, infusion and antibiotics/ medicine for tilted head bunny. But most importantly, we came in with a dwarf bunny almost dying, and now we are back home with noticeable improvement. Bunny accepts medicine and fluid food and currently cuddling with the kids.

1st Emergency clinic that I found nearest to me when my baby Bella got hurt. Wait time was less than 30 minutes. My baby had to stay overnight for observation. Alittle pricey but worth it. My bill was between $1,500- $2,000 I had to pay $1,106.18 so they can give my baby pain medication, electrolytes, antibiotics, xrays, visit and the overnight stay. Thank God they were fast taking my baby in. Staff was very friendly and the vet explained everything very well.

Called eight different vet emergency clinics, this was the only clinic willing to see my Labrador after her labor stalled. Very friendly, super understanding, quick! only took about an hour to relieve my sweet girls issue. I hope I don’t have to come back, but if I do need an Emergency Pet Clinic, I will come back here!

Called them at 0405am Sunday morning. Recording said all business on line. Spoke to receptionist. Explained I am handicapped Vietnam veteran VIA bus riding tech challenged. She got me in que and told me to come in. She would and did assist me upon arrival. She was amazing as was Vet who examined my pet. I had been there before in 2010. Familiar with procedures for terminal pet. Main change is customer waits in automobile. Very efficient & COVID protocol priority. My pet taken at 11am. Within an hour recommendation made. Sad ending, same as before. Pet put down. I would probably still be out on street were it not for receptionist. I changed setting on Smart phone. Dark screen no internet. She brought back and connected to their Wifi and provided me something to eat during wait. Above and beyond. GOD BLESS entire staff.

*STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEATH TRAP and READ THESE REVIEWS! PETS ARE DYING IN CARS AND THEY DO NOT CARE!* I get pandemic precautions, but youre an ER! Sick animals dont need to be sitting in hot cars for hours. There has to be a way to provide them with shade at the very least, even during a pandemic. I sat in my hot dying car with a puppy that had already been throwing up this weekend for 2 and a half hours. We never even got the help we needed. I took him home rather than make him suffer any more and got him better with doses of Pedialyte. Have a vet tech friend thank god. Those jerks wanted to keep him over night after the heat had made him so much worse. I knew he would sit in that cage by himself with no relief all night. Hell no. Be forewarned people, outside there is absolutely no shade or place to sit with your pet. Be prepared to kill your battery waiting, or roast alive. If you have an animal in fragile condition, take them somewhere else. Watch for those red flags because theres plenty. I wish I had read all these awful reviews first. I never would have tried to go here. That was a helpless couple of hours.*Actually, just shut this place down, for love of god. They will let your animal die while they chat and chew at their air conditioned desk. May karma find you all. Heartbreaking.

Do Not Go here! I am begging you! After a 7 hour run around I finally left. I found Becker who was amazing they were quick and affordable. EMERGENCY PET CLINIC quoted me 1,700. if its life or death then go for it. Then they said they will try to get me a cheaper quote which I was confused on, why quote me 1,7000? That was red flag number one. Then they call back saying it will be 1,100 again I was like ok. Like just fix my dog. Then they said she was going into surgery so I was ok thank you. 2hrs later I asked how was the surgery they said she didnt go. I said is everything OK what happened. Well they never started surgery. So I went to go pick her up and she was not shaved so how did they do an exam without shaving her? I went down the road to Becker who was upfront and honest. Once they shaved her, they let me know it will only be 500. They were also done in half the time! I was willing to pay 1700 for my fur baby but with the run around I couldnt TRUST EMERGENCY PET CLINIC, I mean how do you do an exam without shaving her to see how bad the cuts are? I thought there were 2 cuts but once shaved she actually had 5.

Website clearly says CRITICAL CARE my dog was bleeding from a mass she has I was told they did CRITICAL CARE SURGERIES. They didnt consider her critical I assume! I had mentioned to them that I was going to the gas station next door and they had the audacity to tell me if I left that would be an added pet fee, what the heck!!! I have been here since 11am, its now 5:58pm and they still cant bring my pet out!! All I was given was antibiotics and a gown and told she needs a specialist. When every single emergency pet hospital was full of capacity or giving us a 12 hour wait Emergency pet clinic took out pet in with no issue. The wait was usually the same as another emergency pet hospital if anything they contacted me pretty quick after taking in our dog. Only thing that took a while was the lab result which is understandable. Everyone I spoke too were not rude at all. The vet was very nice and straight to the point to help us get what our pet needs. Overall very helpful and there when I needed them. Thank you Emergency Pet Clinc!

Diva, my cat of 8 years, was looking real bad. Thought she was dying, so took her to the vet ER. The intake process they use is very helpful. When you arrive, they know everything they need to know to begin diagnosing the situation. Due to the pandemic, I had to wait in the car, but they kept me up to date with everything they were doing, all the way through it. Diva is back to herself, bossing the other animals around. The price wasnt too high, considering what they did. Highly recommend it

Importantly, the doctor herself is friendly and competent. If it is a life or death emergency, I would feel alright bringing my pet here. My cat is safe and healthy and I know that because I took her here. And the techs I spoke to were all kind and helpful. That said, there are many similarities to an auto mechanic in terms of pricing and time. The $90 exam fee is an absolute base: if they have to do anything else (they will likely do things as precautions) youre easily dropping hundreds of dollars in routine scans. And because of the nature of emergency medicine, combined with poor communication methods and duplicate paperwork, pretty much count on a visit taking several hours longer than you are quoted. Especially noteworthy if you have other people watching your house/children or have to to take a work break. Punctuality is not in the mission statement here.

If it’s a real emergency, just don’t even try…. After calling 3 times, checking in online, filling out their form, I had to wait one hour for vitals and another 4 more hours for her to be seeing by the vet….. in addition you have to wait in your car… 5 hours later they call for path-forward and to collect money to proceed with test , and that was another 2 hours , so don’t be fooled with their waiting time, and plan for at least 6-7 HOURS WAIT. Another thing, I went in to use the restroom and grabbed a cup to water my dog, and the desk lady told me those were only for their internal use. They have a water thing that you are not allowed to touch… which I did not care since it was for my very ill dog….

No communication. We were not told of the 4+ hour wait when we called initially. Would not have made the drive over if the wait time had been properly communicated. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I took my orange tabby here on Thursday to be looked at for a bulged eye. After 7 hours they still hadn’t assessed. I asked for him back and when I got him back his blood coming out of his face. Sadly he passed away in emergency surgery later Friday around 4 am at another facility but I have to wonder if he would have stood a better chance with better care. Like most other people have said on here the communication is going to be an issue. They’ll take your pet and leave you wondering for well over 4 hours. They never called me, I called them 3 times in 7 hours.

The doctor was kind on the phone. And the ladies I dealt with were nice. That is the only redeeming quality of this place. We got here at 9pm. It is after 3am. My dog has already been seen by the vet, I have already talked to the vet, I have already paid, this was all over half an hour ago, and I still don’t have my dog .My dog had a fall earlier today and her pain response terrified me. I now wish I would have gone to any other pet ER but this one! I was already very anxious about her condition. But I’ve had to sit outside for 5 hours while she sat inside in a kennel for FIVE HOURS waiting to be seen. Now she’s been sitting in a kennel for another hour since she was seen. For a grand total of 6 hours. I really wish I would have looked at the reviews first. Don’t expect your pet to be seen quickly here!IF ITS AN EMERGENCY, TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE!If it’s something minor and you don’t mind waiting outside for an entire day or night, by all means, use this place.

I’m sharing because I’ve had a horrible experience here (twice) and hope no pet owner has to go through this.I’ve spent $1700+ with zero results on two failed tail amputations at this location. My dog degloved his tail, took him straight to this ER. First procedure was $1000 to amputate his tail. The suture site dehisced and I came back 2 week post op and the vet recommended another surgery. They will play on your emotions knowing we will do anything for our pets. So I then paid $700 for another failed amputation that ended up with another infection and failed healing site. Gave my dog all of the prescribed antibiotics and followed all discharge instructions. If it’s not emergent and pet is stable, I’d take them to a real vet. I finally took my dog to Kothman Hospital, where they did a successful tail amputation at the fraction of the cost.

I rarely do reviews but felt this was necessary. My dog had a freak accident and my vet recommended this hospital. Between the front desk, the technicians and the surgeons, they kept in good communication the whole time. She required surgery and with her complicated situation, they called in extra doctors in the middle of the night to make sure she had the best outcome. If we had a question or needed an update, the front desk would put us to the back so we could get accurate information. I dont remember being on hold for more than a minute. We returned a few days later to get her drain removed and it was a good process, fairly quick. When emailing for records to send to my vet, I got an immediate response. Definitely recommend this place!

I understand its pandemic but if they are strict with the CDC guidelines there should not be a problem with one person going in. I dont know what their rules now is but it wasnt worth it at that time and this kind of situation.

If you have a rabbit in stasis, go somewhere else. Im half blind w no job (money is super tight) and i had to take my bunny here bc the other ER i go to was closed. After calling around for a place that can take exotics, i was told to come here for excellent service. It was anything but excellent. If i checked the reviews and kept looking around, maybe my baby would still be here w me.I had not seen my bunny eat in over 24 hours, he refused any food so i made the decision to get him seen bc he was in GI stasis. He was already weak and dehydrated. They were pretty quick to get him in but qheni explained he was in stasis, the tech didnt believe me. It took him over 2 hours to be seen, only to be told that he is in stasis. When i got the call about his treatment plan, i rushed to get the payment process started but unfortunately my first 2 options fell through. After 30 minutes of trying to pay, i get a call asking where my payment is, and they couldnt start treatment until they found my payment. In an emergency where every minute counted (a rabbit in stasis can pass away within an hour) they let him suffer bc they wanted money first. After they took all my money, they werent able to treat him the way he needed. They took an xray and tried to take blood. In his intake form i put down that he doesnt tolerate having his feet touched. They proceeded to try and take blood from his feet 3x unsuccessfully. Instead of trying to help him, they sent him home for me to treat w critical care, pain meds, and gut movers. Which would have been possible for someone who isnt half blind and if the bunny wasnt so far into stasis. His discharge instructions were unclear and his visit treatment was unclear. I didnt know when to give him his medication or what they gave him during his stay. They said he was stable enough to go home but he really wasnt. It was already 4am when we got him back.I dont like bashing people or leaving bad reviews, but my baby needed more help than i could give him and they didnt do what they could. I dont feel like they understood the severity of the situation. The doctor and staff were pleasant to speak with (with what little i got to speak w them). I did get refunded for the bloodwork service they didnt provide.

They charged $1,300 to check her, we had to pay first before they even did anything to the dog, after the recording says they charge $90 for an examination fee and well they didnt do much. They prescribed her medication that didnt apply to her illness. I had to go get her at 4 am, if not they were going to charge an additional fee, if I had left her there any longer. A few days later and my dog still isnt feeling well, so we had to take her to a vet. Please DO NOT go here, if you do, do not pay for fees upfront until you know what they are going to do for your pet.

Overall, I’m thankful they took care of our pup. Very thankful!! However, I would have appreciated more communication. Every time they said they would call, they didn’t and I had to follow up myself. This is hard as an anxious pet owner sitting by the phone waiting to hear if her dog is going to be okay or not. The morning shift was amazing, but the later in the day the worse it became. I understand they get busy, but the lack of communication as the day went on was not appreciated.I’m also pleased with their reasonable prices as far as an emergency vet goes.

The Doctor gave me detailed descriptions of what she did during the exam and even did stuff I did not know to ask for. Turns out my dog has a slipped disc in his lower back and just needed bloodwork and pain meds. I went to a different vet last night, and they wanted to do x-rays and charge me $900 for something he didn’t really need. If you’re looking for adequate emergency pet care this place is fine and the vet knowledgeable. Your animal will likely be properly cared for, none of which you’ll be able to see. Their overly cumbersome covid restrictions make dealing with a sick pet much worse, takes much longer to do all the peripheral processes online or on the phone ONLY, and is generally antiseptic. If you think you’re going to be able to be with your sick pet, talk directly to anyone about his care, see what they are doing or where, you are mistaken. You can’t even call the people inside directly without going thru the main answering system with an unnecessarily long message . You just wait in the parking lot for them to call you. They act appalled if you expect or ask for any face to face discussion. I get there needed to be restrictions and still some in place. But it’s April 2021 and every other business around is open for people. (I know some vets are still doing some flavor of this as is ours, but they all come outside and talk to us, even the nice lady that does the bill. )They may treat animals, but their customers are people and this is not a people friendly process. I just hope the lady that was crying in the parking lot when they had to leave their injured dog with the people they just barely met was able to get in to see her animal before it died alone. This place was recommended by our vet, but will not be returning here unless I have zero other choices.

If I could give this facility no stars, I would! I do NOT recommend this clinic. My cat had a wound on her face that was bleeding and swelling to her face and neck. After calling several other emergency clinics, this one had the lowest wait time. I live in Castroville, Texas so before making the drive to their facility, I called to discuss my cats symptoms, verified the wait time and check in process. I checked in online prior to arriving at the facility. Once I arrived, I called the number listed on the building. My check in record was found only to be told 15 minutes later that my pet wasnt able to be seen because the clinic had reached capacity and they would need to refer me to another facility. I made them aware that I had followed the check in policy, had previously called and was never informed that the facility was near capacity nor that if capacity was reached, my cat would not be able to be seen. The facility agreed to still see us. We waited one hour and 45 minutes before they took my cat into the office. I was told by the technician that it would be an hour or more wait time and to remain in my vehicle. After two and a half hours, I contacted the facility to obtain an update. The receptionist basically told me it wasnt her job to provide updates and Id need to speak with the technician monitoring my cat. I waited one more hour (three total hours after they had taken her in) and asked to speak with the technician. Prior to calling I had not received any communication on my pets status. The technician provided me with an update and said it would still be another hour or two before shed be seen by the doctor. By that point I was so frustrated with the lack of communication from the clinic. I understand that they were busy, but a quick phone call would have given me some relief. Instead, we waited a total of five hours in our vehicle, ultimately for my cat to not be seen by the doctor. Based on her stable condition and vital signs, I chose to bring my cat home and wait a few more hours to take her to our regular veterinarian. The technician also informed me that the wound didnt appear to be a snake bite, but when our regular vet examined her, he informed me it was a snake bite. The lack of communication and knowledge was very frustrating and concerning. Im glad my cat was not treated by this facility and I will never return to this clinic. I wish I would have gone to Towne and Country instead.

When all the world has pretty much gone back to normal the Vets offices are still making you wait in your car with your sick animal?? I know being a dog groomer, occasionally I will lose some customers to age or accidents, etc. I recieved yet another sad message today from a customer whose dog had passed. Sammy was a healthy dog and adult but not at an age where he should have passed. My customer/friend said she took Sammy to Broadway 410 Emergency clinic and was made to wait outside with Sammy in her car for 2 hours!! Sammy passed away before he could be seen by the vet. This is unacceptable. WHY!? When everyone else has gone back to normal why are vets still making people wait in their cars. No matter how hot outside or how sick the animal is, why?? At an emergency clinic youd think that if the customer is there in the first place that its probably a sign that its a what? AN EMERGENCY!! She could have waited to see a normal priced vet the next day but she felt like it was AN EMERGENCY! Im sad to hear of Sammys passing and I know the feelings she is dealing with. The pain of losing a pet is just as bad as losing a person and sometimes even worse. She will never know if Sammy could have made it if only the vet would have opened their doors and seen him. She will be filing a report against Broadway Emergency Clinic and I cant say I blame her. If something similar has happened to you, I suggest you get the word out. Prices didnt get lower when we were made to wait outside. Everyone else in the world has opened their doors. When there are lives at stake..be what you claim to be..an EMERGENCY VET CLINIC. R.I.P. Sammy, you were a good boy and wont easily be forgotten. Your mom is missing you horribly so make sure you visit her in spirit. Broadway/410 shame on you. Seriously. Dont just collect a check..try to save the animal. At least try. What your manager did was shameful and she shouldnt be working with animals. Period.

Staff has zero sense of urgency and very disrespectful demeanor. We had just come from another clinic with a referral, had called prior and filled out the check in info online. The vet we had come from told us to get there as fast as we could because my cat was cyanotic and needed immediate attention. Was stopped at the door and made to wait outside while my cat was heaving and screaming in very obvious pain. I was wearing a mask, there were no pet owners inside and I knocked urgently first. Lady would not allow me to speak before having me wait, and just the expression on her face told me she couldnt care less. From what I saw on the bill they did try everything they could to save her but unfortunately she didnt make it. They couldnt tell me what was wrong with her, her death was very sudden and shocking. They also wouldnt return her body until we had fully paid the remainder of the bill. We had to prepay $500 for CPR. I didnt initially think about the money, I just wanted to save my baby. But even after paying they took so long to return her. Although Im very appreciative that they tried to save her, they need to understand that even 1 employees bad attitude will bring down the whole businesses image. Pet owners are panicking when they have a dire emergency. They need sympathy. Being calm and professional, versus being cold and dismissive are very different.

I took my pet there and waited almost 5 hours for him to be checked. After spoke to doctor to discharge him it took another 2 hours just for them to bring him out with the pain medication that I could not give him. They are very slow and inconsiderate of peoples time and money. They wanted to charge over $500 to clean my pets wounds and not even give me answers as to if his leg was broke. When I told her that was too much she then only offered to release him with meds and not even offer the amount it would be for a x-ray to check his leg which was the main reason I was there for. I will never go to this place again.

If youd like to know what its like to visit an animal hospital in a third world country without leaving the comfort of the US, visit this clinic. The wait times were insane. Im talking about 8-9 hours. And while the number of pets could not be helped, the manner in which the animals are triaged and the people were treated was unforgivable. While I waited there with my pet, I saw a dog actively bleeding out pints of blood, left outside on the sidewalk not being attended to. A dog with congestive heart failure was made to wait in a crate for 4 hours without being seen or treated by a doctor. A couple I befriended while sharing our miserable experience told me today their dog had to be put down because after waiting with severe diarrhea for 12 hours without an IV or any other kind of treatment, her heartbeat had slowed down irreversibly. The dog bleeding buckets outside was later diagnosed with parvo and no one came outside to clean up the blood and feces. My next call after this review is to the health department. The receptionists could not have shown less concern if they tried and preferred to play with their phones rather than being helpful or even polite. If it were up to me, people like that would not be allowed to work in healthcare, animal or otherwise. Their attitudes and level of caring would be a better fit for the DMV. While walking my dog, I peeked in a window and saw the vet techs sitting down playing with their phones as well. Again, while there were pets there with seizures and respiratory failure etc. The experience was horrible and surreal literally out of a nightmare. If you have another choice in the care of your pet, take it, before you go to this horror show of an animal hospital.

I had to make the difficult and gut wrenching choice of putting down my dog that was quite unwell. The vet acted quickly and were caring and compassionate towards me and my dog Shiner. I have never had to do that to a pet before and it all happened very fast. In hindsight, I wish I had asked to stay in the room with him during the injection. The staff said they allow the owner to be in the room as long as they want, they press a button to alert the staff that they’re ready, then the doctor comes in to administer the shot at which point the owner leaves the room momentarily and is invited back in after the animal is deceased. I was so upset that I just went along with whatever they said, but I now regret not being the last face my pup saw as he left this world. I also forgot to remove his collar, which I had called 30 minutes after I left and asked the front desk if they could please have someone remove it and I would pick it up the following day. My wife stopped by to get the collar and they couldn’t find it and admitted they forgot to remove it from Shiner. I don’t have any complaints other than have the front desk staff take those requests a little more seriously. This is a living being that we loved dearly. The only comfort I find in not having his collar is at least he was cremated with a part of us with him.Thank you all for assisting me in this difficult process.

Ill give it 2 stars, simply because when I finally reached someone, after the less than helpful recording, the person I spoke with was fine.Call it constructive criticism or what you wish... but I am compelled to leave this note here to let it be known I did not have a pleasant experience with even getting into your clinic... and the worst part is we did not even make it inside before the pet expired in your parking lot. Would he have died anyway? Maybe... Maybe not. But well never know now will we?To force us to listen to a 2 minute recording (multiple times) BEFORE we can even speak with anyone to confirm anything at all to do with my EMERGENCY is pretty backwards. EVERYONE knows we ALL have to deal with Covid. Save that speech for when I get there and make me read it on your door like the rest of the world does. When dealing with an emergency, as you should know, 2 minutes of time can be the difference in life and death. Please rethink your check-in and method of application/acceptance policies. The elderly couple that called us needing help because their little old Dachshund was in a bad way suddenly and needed help asap, they were in a panic. The wife needs a walker and the husband, fresh from a back surgery, were not able to even carry their pet to the vehicle. Much less deal with an online application while driving to your “emergency clinic”?The idea that all of your potential customers that may need emergency care have the access and/or ability to navigate through your very lengthy online application is rather shortsighted. Especially in an emergency situation and perhaps while in route to your location. At least allow some of the blanks to be covered after arrival. For example: what color is your pet? really? you really need see that on an application BEFORE we can check in and begin treatment? is the treatment based on the color of the fur? Or … Have you been out of the country in past 14 days? Really? If my dog has the need for you help, you need to know if I have been out of the country in past 14 days? And “Have you had a fever or cough in last 72 hours?” Are you treating me or my pet? Your policy already forbids me from entering your clinic, so … what’s the concern?Get to the point and treat the suffering animal and get the trivial details as needed. If the dog was bitten by a snake, does it really matter what brand of flea control has been used recently? Or my Primary Care Veterinarian/Clinic? If they were somehow involved, I would offer such information, but to waste my time filling that out and have you waste time processing useless emergency information is pretty lame.I mean come on... why? Who approved this anyway? Surely not the doctor asking for the vitals of an emergency input patient that is bleeding out. What vet says, blood pressure? Pulse rate? Primary care vet? What color is this dog?I realize you are busy and gathering information is time consuming and yes these are crazy times. We are all having to adjust, but emergencies are not always best handled through websites, recorded messages, lengthy forms and robots. What happened to humanity? What happened to answering the dang PHONE for crying out loud? Let me listen to your recordings AFTER you put me on hold – if needed. It took way too long to reach someone to simply confirm you are even open and accepting patience before making an hour one way drive to the clinic and hoping someone would be there. . . and then only to find there would be an online application process that had to have “every blank filled and question answered” before it could be processed is just nuts.Im guessing a much younger couple would not have issues with the above-mentioned obstacles, but not everyone that needs urgent care is younger and able to deal with unfamiliar web applications - especially in an emergency when they think their loved one is going to die of help is not available.Just think about it ... please? For the less fortunate and less able that paved the way for the rest of us and are still around and should not be ignored.

The vet appeared to be in complete discomfort when she reported her passing to me, but thats okay, that tells me she is human just like me. They allowed me to stay with my sweet kitty for as long as I needed.

I would strongly advise they evaluate their stasis care for rabbits. It is not up to par with best-practice medicine. In-home care for stasis bunnies is critical to patient outcome, and they don’t send owners home with the things that make it successful.I left the hospital with metacam, cisapride, and discharge instructions from a technician that certainly didn’t know rabbit care.I was denied access to basic stasis medications like IV fluids, Reglan, and Buprenorphine, so now my little man only gets basic oral medications that are much less effective on bunnies with a slow GI system. And if I want to get him more fluids, I need to subject him to the stress of another car ride rather than simply doing it at home where he is comfortable.Further, the clinic did not perform radiographs to differentiate between situations that present similarly but have very different treatments (like an obstruction presenting as stasis). All in all, I would do everything in my power to avoid needing them in the future.

We came to this clinic at 1:00 AM after finding our kitten unresponsive. The receptionists were so helpful with getting my kitten seen while still keeping me calm (as I was in shock). Once we arrived the technician came out right away to get my girl.. although the Dr. called us shortly after saying it was too late. The Dr. was absolutely wonderful in consoling me over the phone, she was very sweet in giving us the option to bring her back out the the car so we can say our final goodbyes. The technician brought her back out & let us have as much time as we wanted with her. After we gave her back the receptionist called again & walked me though the forms & options I had for my baby girl. I wish I would’ve gotten everyone’s names so I could personally thank them! Although I am heartbroken by my loss, this clinic kept me grounded & I find peace in knowing my baby was in good hands with them. Thank you a thousand times!!

I took my Shih-Tzu Gizzy here after he randomly became lethargic and threw up And started excessively drooling at the mouth I didn’t know where else to take him on a Sunday. We googled emergency vetirinary hospitals and came across this one. I felt it was going to be really expensive but I didn’t have a choice I took him here. The staff was very nice. I did have to wait a while in the waiting room but it was Sunday and there were other Pets waiting in the same situation. I didn’t wait to long maybe 30 minutes I was seen in a room by the Vet Tech and she was really respectful and handled my pet with care. She asked tons of questions and made me feel at home. It was maybe 10-15 minutes later I was seen by the Vet Doctor Bailey she was super nice and handled by dog with care she took her time during the exam and came up with possible causes for my babies illness I took her care recommendation and was sent back to the waiting room while they did blood work and ran fluids.I did have to wait a while but was well worth the wait. I’m overall happy with this hospital and praying it doesn’t but if anything happened to him again here would be my first stop in a emergency. It is a little slow. I was expecting to be seen right away but when they are busy it’s impossible to see and treat every pet right away. But I have to say I felt they really took care of him with respect and love. The prices weren’t too crazy I would say average but being a Sunday it was very resonable. She also sent him home with special food and a probiotic yogurt something extra to help him which she didn’t have to mention. They do care here. Doctor Bailey and the staff is awesome !My shihtzu is doing so much better !!!I also do have to mention if your pet is unresponsive or dying on the spot they will take them immediately to the back for help.

Took my dog there because he was having trouble breathing. Doctor Bauer said she didnt notice anything wrong which was a surprise because it was very obvious. Of course I wasnt allowed inside, so she just recommended blood work and those came back with no real concerns she said. So she sent my dog home with just an order to give him Prilosec. My dog got worse over night and I took him to another emergency clinic that found his chest cavity full of fluid. My dog passed away while they tried to save him. So Dr. Bauer charged $300 just send him home to die. We dont have a lot to options for 24 hour emergency and these people just take advantage of that. Very sad!

Myself, my roommate and her cat came in today and found out he was terminal and had to be put down. Since only one person can go in while they put him down, they told us they could bring him to the car when we say goodbye. While we were filling out paperwork, paying, and calling back and forth, we kept asking when they would bring him out and they wouldn’t until after we paid and signed the consent form. Then after we finish all of that, we expect them to bring him out for our last goodbye and instead they come out and say that he was ready. We were confused and said that we wanted the car visit but we were told that because he already has the sedative that they couldn’t move him much because it would stress him out. I told the tech that we were told we could have a car visit and she said that WE said we didn’t want it...after us asking and asking when they were going to bring him out to us. Found out that since i’m only a roommate and not family of the owner, they couldn’t do that car visit. To top it off, while my friend was in the room saying her last goodbyes, she can hear the tech talking trash about us. That is so unprofessional and just plain rude and inconsiderate. I really don’t mean to be a Karen but when it comes to saying goodbye to a pet...this is not okay. Please double check with the customer if they want the car visit and if you’re gonna talk trash about customers, don’t do it outside the door.

Brought my girlfriends dog in at 5a as he was old and dying and appeared his body was shutting down. I filled out the form online beforehand. Called from the parking lot as instructed and a tech came out to get the dog and explained the vet would call once she looked at the dog, which she promptly did. She knew, as did we, that there was nothing else we could do for him. She still gave us the option to try procedures but that putting him down was recommended. We agreed. They sent the forms electronically and then allowed my gf to be present in the room for as long as she needed to say goodbye. Then she had to stand in the doorway as the vet administered the drug, then allowed right back in. Seemed as professional and as fair as can be under the covid protocols. My gf stated all the staff inside were very courteous and caring too. It is fairly expensive, but it is an ER open 24 hours and to be expected. The whole process was also pretty quick, which was nice too.The only complaint, or recommendation, I would mention is once you park and call the number you have to sit and listen to a prerecorded message for several minutes. With a panicked girlfriend holding a dying dog, that wasnt what we wanted to hear. So maybe somehow change that part of the process.Everything else was great and we appreciate the service they offer in these stressful times. If you read the online instructions, follow the instructions, and read the procedures and what to expect, there shouldnt be anything but 5 star reviews in my opinion.

This is my story. I had a 3-week-old pup that stayed at this hospital getting treatment. A week later and $5k invested the puppy was out of this hospital and made a recovery, but 8 days later it started throwing up, lethargic and 103 temperature and was quickly isolated from her littermates. The following day she would not eat, or drink, so I suspected indigestion. That night she became even more lethargic, so the following day I took her to My vet. This is when the bad news came in. She tested positive for PARVOVIRUS! I kept her isolated and hoped for the best. 3 days later she started to do better and is on its was to what looks like a full recovery. The sad part is that exactly a week to the date in which she became sick (2 weeks after returning from this hospital) and despite the isolation from her littermates the damage was already done and 1 by 1 they all started to developed symptoms. I spent more money trying to save the litter, but they were not as lucky, and all died. This was a special litter, champion sired and both grandparents were champions, a show prospect litter in which each pup has a minimum value of $3,500. The whelping box was in my room. The puppies never left my room, and I left my shoes outside the house. I did not allow anyone to touch the puppies, or into my room, or into my house wearing shoes. I would wash and disinfect my hands before touching the puppies. The mother of the puppies was only allowed to go a few minutes to the backyard to urinate and defecate and then back into the house.

Where do I start ..I brought my 6 Pound 17 week old puppy in to be seen by Dr.Rimmelin for vomiting and diarrhea after waiting about 3 hours to be seen. Although I figured my dog may have had worms I was advised by the doctor that I should get him tested for Parvo so I did it was negative she said I could get him tested for worms for $250 More or I could just treat him for worms for $40. me being a single mother of 4 kids and hardly having any money of course I choose to just treat him for worms. I took him home gave him the prescribed medicine and right off noticed that his eye was swollen and he might of been having an allergic reaction to his medicine.Day 2 of his medicine I noticed the same thing swelling of eyes called and was advised to watch him carefully.Day 3 of giving him his medicine I noticed he was broke out in hives all over his body and he stated crying from itching and breathing really hard. I called and was told to bring him in for another 65-90 dollar fee. When I expressed that I honestly did not have the money until Friday (2 days away) I was put on the phone with the office Manager Michelle! After explaining to Michelle that my puppy had an allergic reaction and was all broke out and having a hard time breathing and that I desperately needed him to be seen but didn’t have the money right then to pay again for an allergic reaction to their prescribed medicine Michelle basically criticized and questioned me over and over again.. she said it was the doctors discretion to see the puppy again at no charge and after she spoke with Dr. Rimmelin the doctor decided NO to not see the puppy and said if he’s having a hard time breathing or was all swollen up I could give him Benadryl. Benadryl for a puppy having a hard time breathing! I asked to speak with the doctor several times and Michelle refused to let me and stated it would be 3 hours before I could get the doctor that I had just paid over $200 a day or 2 before on the phone ..I immediately started crying because I knew that my puppy was in complete distress and couldn’t breath but yet there was nothing I could do to help him and the doctor refused to see him because a fee was more important.. I called Michelle back crying in panicking explaining that the dog was breathing really hard and idk if he would make it through the night and my kids and I we’re up trying to comfort him. Michelle in a very nasty “noncaring” tone said “well if you think he can’t breath you can pay the fee and bring him in. Today we no longer have the puppy my kids are heartbroken and so am I. I couldn’t borrow the money and We no longer have our puppy because Michelle and Dr.Rimmelin couldn’t find it in their hearts to put a dumb fee aside and see a puppy that was having a reaction to a medicine that they prescribed. Money before care money before helping a baby in need! In my opinion this is the WORST place ever I will Never recommend this place to anyone and I will never forgive the doctor or Michelle for how they treated me or my puppy ! If I could give less then 1 star I would because this place don’t even deserve that!

My beloved beardie had an apparent stroke in my arms and I started CPR to save Big Al. After breathing was stabilized I called my vet and they were closed for the holiday. I am truly thankful that the Emergency Pet Clinic agreed to see Big Al seeing that they do not treat reptiles. They were quick to take Big Al to the back upon arrival. They were very compassionate and understanding how hard this was on me. They could no longer detect a heart rate and they offered to do CPR. I decided not to continue because I could not bare to see my pet suffer any more than he already had. They provided me options and allowed me time to spend in a private room with Big Al alone. They accepted my wishes and they never put me through any pressures to alter my decision. They were all professional and they did the best they could under the circumstances. I apologize for taking so long to thank you because I am still grieving over the loss of the greatest pet that I have ever owned. Thank you for putting my mind at peace so that I did not have to second guess myself. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable to warn me about salmonella poisoning after doing CPR on Big Al. For a pet clinic that does not treat reptiles do have quite a bit of knowledge about reptiles to be able to provide cautionary statements like that. I would trust this clinic with any animal.

This is a emergency pet clinic, and the reviews also did state it would be costly. The price is worth it, knowing my cat is being treated with appropriate care. After they did an exam, they informed me that he had a fever and asked me additional questions. After paying, they did run tests, and told me it would take several hours so they suggested for me to go home and when theres any updates, they would call. They called to update me on his condition, informed me of the medicine he started on. I was also told that they did send a sample to the lab and they would send the results to my veterinarian and would inform me the results. I payed for the medicine online and took my cat home. The staff here is great and did call me to check on my cat . Thankfully hes doing better and finished his meds. I took him to his regular vet, like they did suggest. Hes back to his normal self. I cant say enough good things about the folks at this clinic. If you have a pet emergency, dont hesitate to take your fur baby here.In a nutshell, they saved our cats life. It was a process, getting our cat stabilized, tested, fully diagnosed, and set on her new normal of being medicated daily. It was not easy, it was not cheap, and it required a lot of patience and learning on our part. After all was said and done, though, the docs and techs saved our girls life. They gave us what could turn out to be a few more years with her, which, honestly, made the cost and the stress well worth it.The doctors, techs, and support staff were all beyond excellent with us and our cat. She spent a couple of nights there, and they worked so well with us, allowing us to visit her for as long as we wanted. They answered all our questions, and addressed all our concerns. Everyone was very transparent and helpful. They took all our calls...even in the middle of the night...and always returned calls promptly if they couldnt help us right away.I noticed several reviews indicating the high cost of this place. Those of you reading this...keep in mind this is an *emergency clinic*. Its staffed 24/7 by doctors, techs, and support staff. Its not intended to be cheap. Think of it as a human ER...its just not cheap. Youre paying for the emergency aspect. The doctors and other staff we dealt with were all very upfront about the costs. Very slow. Waited for 5 hours for the shortest possible examination of my pet. Doctor had no idea what what wrong and prescribed antibiotics hoping it would be the quickest fix. Received an incorrect diagnosis. Phone system and online paperwork is painfully slow. Extra fee for exotics. No Board Certified Surgeon on staff. Wont be coming back again.

We have taken our kitten there twice for a severe upper respiratory. The staff has always been kind, professional, and courteous. I have had to call in 2 separate times to ask questions related to his treatment and both times someone promptly returned my call and answered all of my questions. The cost is slightly higher than a traditional vet but I expect that from an emergency clinic.

Dealt with 3 veterinarians when my Australian Shepard was struggling with pneumonia and he received the best possible care from every vet, technician, etc. Prices are 100% reasonable and they are willing to help in any way possible if you’re not able to afford what they price out for you. The vets may be busy at times; however, if you call they will stop whatever they’re doing to help in reassuring you of your animals care. Would definitely come back here in a heartbeat if another emergency arises.

I have used this clinic in the past and they are always very slow. I understand the triage part of things but eventually you have to take care of the ones that are in need but maybe not a life or death situation. I have had animals all my life and I dont take them to emergency clinics unless I feel its important. Also I was there 8 hours in the parking lot I was contacted once by the Vet who was very nice and explained what the treatment would be. I was told I would receive a call for approval and take care of the bill. The call came about 2 hours later. I then waited several more hours. I called the number and had to listen to the five minute message. While listening to the message I received a call from staff saying my dog was ready and someone would bring him out soon. I waited another 45 minutes so I called again and again had to listen to that long message. Wile I was listening to the message they again called but I missed it. So I called again and again had to listen to the message at that point I was put on hold. So I went up to the door to let them know I wanted my dog to come out. I admit I was frustrated at this point and it showed. I waited another 15 minutes before my dog was brought out. I felt this was a ridiculous amount of time to get my dog. Once I got him He seemed to have good care which has always been my experience but the paper work was not complete. Now I notice that the services performed were reasonable in price but the meds were way over priced. My dog was given two meds that have been around for a long time and have generics which do not cost that much. I know because I have used the same two meds a lot of times. They charged three times as much as I have ever paid for them. In conclusion the care was just fine the service from the front office lacked and the medication prices were way out of line.

I paid my bill and after waiting two hours AFTER the doctor has already conducted the exam, staff still refuses to return my pet. I also know that the vet exaggerated the condition of my pet (there is no way she deteriorated so rapidly in a 20min period to get to the state the vet described unless they did something to get her there) to frighten/ guilt me into accepting exorbitant procedures that would not actually help my pet. am disgusted by those tactics especially in conjunction with the pitiful standard of care. Im quite sure that her stay here was to her detriment as it was stressful and she was neglected for hours.

Horrible experience people with no heart and don’t care about anything but money. I went for hope and waited for almost 3 hours. They knew my dog wouldn’t make it by the next morning but still managed to tell me he was ok and pain medicine will help. Don’t come here at all unless you want cold hearted people to take care of your pets

I would only tell you to go here if its an absolute emergency passed 5pm if not save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. Money hungry doctors feed off your emotions to get you to pay huge medical bills paid $600 for just a diagnostics alone and they gave my pet nothing but some pain meds, truly disgusting will never go here again.

Staff is kind and compassionate. Dr. Weston did a thorough exam of my cat to try and figure out what was wrong with him. She was conscientious of cost and explained everything in great detail.I went back 2 days later for an ultrasound on my cat and although the result was devastating news, it was delivered in the most caring and compassionate way. I don’t remember that doctor’s name because I was so numb, but I want to thank her for being so kind. She laid out multiple options for me and didn’t make me feel bad for what I ultimately decided.

Took my little zebra finch in because not all vets in town will see birds. Waited in the parking lot for 3 hours & asking multiple times if he had even been seen yet (he hadn’t). The nurses I talked to were mostly sympathetic & understanding, & I know they’re an emergency clinic so the less critical cases are brushed to the way side a bit. But they could have offered more help earlier on or been more communicative so I wouldn’t have had to waste my whole afternoon sweating & getting more and more frustrated.

Came here with our daughters Guinea Pig unfortunately he passed on the car ride over we found out as soon as we entered. The folks working were so kind and comforting to our family we didn’t spend a dime here but they gave us a private room and let my daughter mourn our loss. The way the tech handled the passed guinea pig was so gentle and they provided us a nice small box to take him home. The receptionist was amazing coming in hugging my daughter I can’t say enough about this place from our small experience they blew me and my wife away with their kindness I would highly recommend coming here the quality of the staff is incredible. Thank you for your kindness and generosity
