I drive 1 1/2 to get my clothes altered with her. Her pricing is decent and her work is amazing. I’ve been bringing my clothes with her for the past 5 years. She will have your clothes altered in no time. I highly recommend her, you will truly not regret it.

Sun is great at what she does. Ive periodically had clothes altered over the last few years. I recently needed a bridesmaid dress altered in a few days and Sun had it done the next day. I dont have my clothes altered often but when I do this is where I go.

Trust me. The process at the beginning might seem a little skeptical, but trust the Tailor. Just got to her and explain what you want done and YOU WON’T REGRET IT! She KNOws what she is doing!

I got back from TAD on a Saturday and had a board on Tuesday. My pants were not good to go. So I had bought a pair from the uniform shop and found this alteration shop open on Sunday where every other shop is closed! She hemmed my pants there and then!She has 10+ years experience with military uniform and her husband was prior service in the Army!Definitely would come back. She is awesome!!**she works out of her house so when you first pull up, it’s the right place. Unfortunately she lost her proper shop due to COVID-19**

She was very nice, did a fantastic job in a very short time and the price was very reasonable . I was in town for a wedding and the tailor had forgotten to hem the pants that I was to wear only in a few hours & she took care of it and done a really nice job. 5 stars plus.

I had ordered 3 patches for my letterman and NO ONE seemed to want to put them on. Took my jacket and patches and she said “ no problem show me where you want them” Dropped the jacket off on a Sunday and it was ready by Monday. Quality work. Will definitely be back for ANY alterations. Also the lady was super nice and friendly don’t know where the “ mean” comments come from

Lady that works there is cool but is very blunt. The hours aren’t accurate, somedays she stays late some days she’s not there at all. But her work is really good. I’d recommend going for the price and work but not if you need something done really quick

Went 2 times and they were closed, mind you sign on door says they close at 7pm. I called the shop number and both times I asked are you open and the answer was Im at home come back tomorrow morning both times. Will not waste my time there again.

The tailor here knows her stuff and shes fast! Shes a little rough around the edges but never rude. The work here is phenomenal and reasonably priced. We come back to her time and time again.

Highly recommend! Came in to hem my scrub top, and she finished within 10 to 15 min. Price was fairly reasonable. Its best to call beforehand. Its cash ONLY. And overall, shes pretty straight forward and gets the job done.

This lady does excellent work!! My mom found her to alter my Wedding dress about 1 month before my big day. A little skeptical when I first walked in (NOT a traditional alterations place). She had me put the dress on, looked at it, then I took it off and she examined the dress more and new what to do. No measurements, no writing things done, but she definitely knows what she is doing!! She had it done in about 1 week and it fit perfectly!! Price was good and Id recommend her to anyone!! (This review is late, my wedding date was June 17).

This lady is fun to talk to. Her work is excellent and she is honest about her work. I tried to tell her how I wanted my scrubs cut into shorts, she told me You want them to look like girlLol!😂 I let her work her magic and when I saw the finished product...Wow! Sun is awesome! She altered a fully beaded wedding dress for me. She didnt pin at all, she just said I know what to do. She wasnt lying. The dress turned out perfectly. At another visit, I brought her a wedding veil that I bought online. I accidentally ordered the wrong length. Sun altered it to perfection. Trust in Sun!Update: I had Sun make some very last minute alterations to my wedding dress and yet again she did a wonderful job.

Took pants on a Wednesday said it would be ready next day, came by on Thursday and Friday. Both days I knocked n called for several minutes, no answer. I needed these pants for my sons birthday party that weekend out of town. Didnt get until Monday. When i tried letting her know i came by. She said. I not close, I here. Nope she was not. VERY VERY RUDE LADY!!!! never going back to her again!!!!

Drove across town because this was one of the few places that was “open” on Sunday. Showed up to a locked door. I normally wouldn’t wait until the last minute to get a suit jacket repaired but you don’t get to plan on a family members death. Just be honest about your hours! If you’re not going to be open 9-6 on Sunday, let the public know so we can go somewhere that sticks to their advertised hours.

I recently had a skirt hemmed at this establishment and the owner did a wonderful job! The skirt flows beautifully! And the hem is even. Although I live on the other side of town I will go out of my way to come here to have my clothes worked on.

Ms. Sun was very straightforward as to what my suit needed altering, I heeded her advice and let her work her magic. I was thoroughly pleased by how my suit turned out, and more importantly how much better it looked on me. She works fast, and the prices are so affordable, even for a full-time college student. The next time you need alterations, or anything at all, keep this place in mind because I have found my go to here in SA for alterations.

If you had a pair of black mens slacks, altered about 2 or 3 months ago and received the wrong pants, I think I have them. We picked up the wrong pants, but she said no one ever came back saying they had the wrong pants.

Would not recommend. I took four blouses that had small tears in them. When I dropped them off she didn’t take the time to explain how she was going to fix them. When I came to pick up my items I was very disappointed. She has used adhesive tape to cover up the tears and it wasn’t even the same color as the fabric. I conveyed to her my disappointment and she responded with it’s like stitches, when you go to a doctor to have surgery you get stitches up you can’t make it perfect. Even though she could see I was frustrated she charged full price and did not offer to fix the issue. Would not recommend

Great place! I was a little worried at first but honestly I wouldnt go anywhere else. The lady is funny and does amazing work. Trust me Im not one to write reviews but i will for this place.

I had a last minute alteration to my baseball pants and she told me no worries son, you will make it on time to your game. She knew how long it was without measuring me!!!! Then I said yup, that is it. She smiled. She has been doing this for over 50 years. I know where to go from now on.

Went in based off of reviews and cause its close to my house. Reviews are spot on, she is very nice and puts here customers first. I went in to drop my hoodie off to get the sleeves shortened and she said Oh the weather is bad, you have time? I can fix for you now so you dont get cold. Took all of 10 minutes and she did a great job. Tipped her and she gave me a big ole hug! Id definitely recommend her for alterations.

Not a bad job, just not what we asked for: ON PURPOSE. My daughter wanted the slit of her prom dress sewed up. Stretchy material would have been fine without a slit. But the lady argued and we settled for halfway for what both of them wanted. Ehich is stupid on my part. If Im paying I should get what I say. Well she took it upon herself to not do what we agreed and only hemmed the dress. She didnt touch the slit at all. My daughter was so upset we just paid and took the dress. Shell sew it herself. But $50 is too much for someone who doesnt listen to customers and does half the job agreed to. Its rude. And she argued with everyone who came through her door each time we were there. We wont be back. I wanted her to make me 3 simple skirts but I dont want to argue about what I want. If Im paying its my way or no way. I figure she wont do what i want and Ill freak out when she uses all my material on what she wants. Anyone can do the job. I dont need someone arguing about what I want. Very disappointing. Ps: its not ok to ask a teen girl to change anywhere that has an opening. ESPECIALLY with a man present. Rude!

Expert seamstress in the house. I have used Sun Sew Alterations for over 10 years for repairs, alterations and that nagging missing button from my favorite shirt. Always a quality result when I use Sun Sew Alterations on FM 78 at the Walzem intersection in Converse.

Dropped off a shirt yesterday at 5:45pm and was told to pick it up at the same time today. Get there at 5:44pm and doors are locked , lights and open sign off!!😡 The hours on the door show they are open until 7pm. Lady isnt the nicest. I will find another place next time I need alterations done.

Too bad I can’t rate 0 stars. I came here to pick up my dads pants that were altered, and she was SOOOOOO SO SO SO rude. i’ve never dealt with someone as rude as this lady. She constantly kept yelling “what do you need!” and I gave her the name and explained the clothing items. She said she couldn’t help because I didn’t have a ticket but she never gave my dad a ticket. I had to have my dad call her for her to actually know what I needed. Worst customer service. And a disgusting building.
