Love the way they help me with my dress!!

Outstanding alterations shop with excellent handcrafted purses, and clothing from Guatemala. Excellent group of seamstresses -they speak Spanish too!!

I’ve honestly struggled with Velvet. I’ve given them a good shot over 4 visits and I think I am going to look for another tailor. The prices were a bit high (average $30 per hem or dart?) and I’ve had to take some items back due to discomfort. The shop was closed one weekend during normal business hours (no sign, nothing) and twice when I’ve come to pick up items at the agreed upon time I was told I’d have to come back later. Not a great experience.
