The dresses look beautiful from the window, but unfortunately the store is closed today. I wish that they would have updated their Google listing to say that they were closed today. I came to the mall only to go to this shop, but hopefully I can visit tomorrow.

Great service! Their alterations are quick and inexpensive compared to other places I have been. They offer payment plans and layaway for any of their dresses. They also have good deals on buying more than on dress if youre trying to find wedding or quince dresses. Highly recommended finding your dress here. They have a wonderful selection.

I have struggled for weeks finding the right dress for my formal. I’ve ordered online, shopped in department stores and other specialty dress shops but I haven’t been able to find anything. When I came to the The Dress Shop, I had so many options to choose from and the dresses were beautiful! They look expensive but are very reasonably priced. Gloria helped us out around the store and was so patient with me while I asked questions and tried on dresses. I will definitely be shopping here again for my next big event.

Fabulous experience! Cloth shopping is difficult for plus sized ladies with uneven proportions but this shop had a lot to offer and we found the perfect dress. Erica was awesome and kept bringing us options so that we never had to leave the dressing room. Two of her choices were dead on to what we were looking for. We had to order the size and color we wanted but it was ready for pickup in less than a week. Prices ranged from $29.99 on up (with the majority of the dresses we liked falling at $129.90. Very reasonable!I highly recommend this location to anyone searching for a semi-formal / formal dress.

As soon as I walked into this store I fell in love with many of the dresses but sadly my being picky left me overwhelmed until a consultant came to my rescue within the first 5 minutes of entering the store. She showed me all of the dresses that fit my specifications and I refused to try on anything until my mom and the consultant convinced me to try on and I wound up buying the most gorgeous dress for my prom. I had a great experience and everyone in the store made me feel like a princess so to say the customer service was amazing is an understatement. I bought on Wednesday and have been recommending The Dress Shop to all of my friends and I will be coming back next year for my Senior Prom.

Outstanding customer service! We were looking for prom dresses for my little sister all over town and they were the only ones who were able to order the dress and expedite the shipping so that shed have it ready on time for prom. They even had it delivered several days before the promised date.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Other places didnt even acknowledge us when we approached them for help. So we left and went to the dress shop again. My daughter found a dress she loves that doesnt even need alterations and at a great price.

I stumbled upon this store trying to find a dress for a friend and fell in love with the first dress I put on. They had reasonable prices and deals and the dresses were beautiful! Would for sure recommend for prom dress shopping

My wife came in with dress and child for alterations but they said they only had a seamstress on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-9, which is odd in and of itself. So my wife made an appt with the clerk for 6 pm on Saturday. We showed up and not only did they not have an appt for us, they said their seamstress doesn’t even come on til 7:30. We weren’t going to wait 90 min to see if we could possibly be seen. The clerk had no idea what was going on, never offered to speak to a manager, and never offered any concessions or discount on the anticipated service. Their attitude indicated that they clearly had sufficient business that they did not need to concern themselves with us or our time.This was a horrible experience with non-existent customer care or support. We will not be using them in the future. If you desire alterations, make sure you confirm at least 2-3 times and get something in writing as it appears they take nothing less than that as proof of an appt.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEYFirst, my fiance went to pick up her mothers dress and the assistant manager spilled red soda all over the dress. No I am not kidding. Luckily she was able to apply water and alcohol to get the color out before it stained. Did not offer a discount or reimbursement of any sort.Second, my fiances bridesmaids went to pick up their dresses only to find that the store ordered the wrong dresses. After calling and telling them that, they stated sorry, no refunds and offered to order new dresses for the additional cost of the dresses.Horrible experiences. DO NOT chance ruining your important event because of their mistakes. Shop elsewhere.

WORST PLACE TO BUY A DRESS... if there was a way to place negative stars I would have chosen this option, but I am forced to choose one star just to write this review. I was forced to get a dress here for a quinceniera my daughter is going to stand in. The dress they ordered was way too small for her. I understood that the staff called the designer on that day, Tuesday, and was told the owner would rush the dress to be delivered and would be in the shop by the end of the week. I called over a week later to see if the dress was in and I was told that the dress would not be in until the following week, which was not enough time to have the dress altered for the event which is the day after the dress would arrive. I asked to have the number to the owner since the employees are the ones communicating this information to me. The employee advised she was not able to provide the owners contact number and she would have him call me cause he lives in California. I refused to allow them to disconnect my call and requested they call the owner on a three way line. Upon my request the owners mom came on the line yelling at me saying they ordered the dress it take two weeks deal with it. I asked for her name and she refused just said owners mom. I was trying to ask why did the owner tell their employee that the dress was going to be rushed and I would have the dress by the end of the week. The owners mom kept repeating they ordered the dress it takes two weeks. She told not to call back and hung up on me. I called the mall manager and complained, he gave me two numbers to the owner, Stephen Bay, I called the first number a male answered, I asked for Stephen Bay, and the male asked whom I was, I told him I was a customer and he then says I dont know what your talking about I dont own a dress shop When I have someone call me and ask for someone else other than me I immediately tell them they have the wrong number. I called the second number and went straight to voice mail. About 5 min later one of the employees called me and decided to tell me the dress was ordered Monday, four days after they knew they I needed a larger size.It is no fault of the employees, the owner Stephen Bay and his mother owners mother should be held accountable and he should have called me by now to apologize about the issue. This is the one and only time I will do business with this company. My daughter will be having a Quinceniera this year and so glad that I did not choose to purchase from The Dress shop and owner Stephen Bay and his mother whom have a language barrier just so you all know. I will report their incompentance again to the mall manager again. Unfortanetly the location in San Antonio is not registered with the Better Business Bureau, but I will find a way to file complaint there also.**DO NOT SHOP HERE, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BY OWNER AND HIS MOTHER***
