Barbershop full of rookies straight out of barber school, charging $30 dollars for a $6 dollar haircut. Dont go here, bad fades.

We have long beards and it takes a lot of trust finding a new barber so after reading the reviews of this place seemed like a safe bet. What happened next defies logic. Only one barber was working and he was young, but hey... lets give the kid a chance. My father who has a very long beard went first and the barber just couldnt figure out how to cut his hair, and the edging and blending was done so wrong. We both kept trying to tell the barber how we wanted his hair blended, not one side super short, and the rest super long. But he couldnt blend it at all, and it became obvious he wasnt going to be able to fix it. The worst part is we described how we wanted to trim the edges of the old growth of the beard and how we wanted it shaped. The barber then just stuffed the clippers in the center of his beard and removed probably over five inches of his beard. Totally butchered his beard. This was a horrible experience

First time bringing my son to Jo at Supreme Kutz! He was very nice and soft spoken did an amazing job on my sons hair and listened to exactly what I wanted done.

One of the worst worst place in San Antonio to get a cut! They have a walk-in welcome sign as soon as I walked in the barber on the left side told me if I had a appointment and I said no then he told me that they are closed and he said I would have to call to make a appointment then I asked for a number to schedule a appointment and he said he don’t have one and the other barber said to google it.

$30 haircut that I had to fix when I got home. Edge up wasnt even and clippers broke me out.

Worse place. Used to be the spot, now its a joke. Couldve got the same cut at Rios. Dont waste your time.

I called in today to see if I could find someone to do a special Shark design on my son and spoke with Frankie. He was very upfront with me and told me he had not done one before but would be happy to try. He was able to work with me on when to come in and was seen the same day. Before I arrived, I already sent him a picture (phone to phone) on the design I was looking for. Based on what we set out to accomplish, Frankie did an excellent job. I had a lot of confidence in him b/c he was upfront with me from the beginning about having experience with various designs, just not a shark. I could sense that he had excellent integrity and I could trust him with my son. Anyone less professional might have just falsely reassured me and if it didnt turn out decent, I would have been that much more disappointed. But Frankie was great! He took his time and was super cool with my son, and my son told me before we had even gotten back home that he really liked him and wanted to return there for his next cut. My son even got to experience his very first Hot Towel Treatment, a special first, which this mama happily took pics of! :D Great customer service and a very relaxing, clean atmosphere. Very clean cut, great service aswell

My son and I visited for the first time yesterday. Its not a haircut mill. You wont be done in five minutes with a pat on the back and a mediocre haircut. Be prepared to relax as your barber takes care of you. The folks in the shop knew several of the customers by name as they arrived. Youll hear friendly banter and the barbers obviously enjoy their craft. My son and I are very happy with the results. Well be back.

Judith Blades is new to this location but isn’t new to the barber scene. She’s seriously one of the best barbers in town! She’s very professional and listens and cares about how your haircut comes out. I take all my sons to her- she does a fantastic job every time!!

Highly recommend Judith Blades. She is phenomenal. Steady hand even with the little guys. My 3 year old does NOT sit still in the chair and she is so patient with him and he ends up with a gorgeous cut every time. We drove from La Vernia just to get cuts from Judith. And she takes walk-ins which is very important for our busy schedules!

Do not go here for beards. Charged 20 and left my beard line lopsided and mustache short on one end. Scheduled an appointment with the lady that works there early afternoon for 530. I went to the shop at 525 just to be told that she could not make my appointment. Decided to wait for the kid in the first chair to trim my beard, and I am glad I asked for just a trim. Barber did more than I asked with my beard, and the result was poor. He did not know how to trim my beard, and cut more off the bottom than he did on the sides. If you do not have experience with beards, do not cut beards let alone charge 20 dollars I could have done myself. This falls on the lady barber for giving this kid confidence for a cut out of his expertise. Going to another barber today to fix .

Made an appointment with Sam to get a haircut this past weekend. To my disappointment the barber never showed up. I originally requested a 12:30 pm appointment but was pushed to a 1:30 pm appointment by Sam. It was no big deal since I was desperate for a cut. I get to the shop and was told he would be in soon. The barber working that day called Sam to see if he was close by. When the barber got off the phone he told me he would not be coming in till way later. I ask the barber if he can get me next since he had a customer in the chair, but told me he was going to lunch after. It would of been nice to know that my appointment would not have been honored before I left the house. Very unprofessional and glad I didnt waste my money at a poorly run establishment. There are plenty of good barbers in the city who will respect my business. Be cautious making a appointment with Sam. Waste of my time and gas.

My barber Judith Blades has always done me right. So right that I used to drive all the way to LaVernia for a haircut. Well now she’s at Supreme Kutz on Nacogdoches. It’s a nice clean place with plenty of chairs and TVs. Has a nice vibe and like most I wat h or check out results on other customers.Nice work. Even the times I visited I noticed that kids are well behaved because the barbers make it fun for them.I recommend you visit this location and if you’re looking for a barber that’s diligent and fun to talk to, very easy in the eyes then you should visit Judith.

Based on the reviews I decided to wait on Paulie when I walked in. I told him I wasn’t sure on what I wanted but I went with his suggestion. I was getting cut for about 2 hours and I really appreciated the attention to detail Paulie has. Chris Johnson did an outstanding job on my 89 year old father. He took his time and was very detailed on styling his hair and shaving him, being very careful due to his sensitive skin. He was very kind and respectful to my father. I would recommend him and this barbershop to everyone. I plan to send all my friends and family to him.

Frankie was the barber that particularly serviced us and he was very genuine and welcoming to us, while we were not very familiar with barbershops and had a good amount of questions. I was most impressed with the results I saw with the barbers as a whole. I have only visited about 5 barbershops, searching for someone who would satisfy what I was seeking for my sons hair, and I was surprised because I have never been to one where everyone who I saw walk in, walked out with such impressive work.

Stopped by on a Sunday which was extremely convenient, most shops are closed here in San Antonio. The guys were respectful and the shop had that fun barbershop vibe. I got my haircut by Robert, and i wasn’t let down. Cool cat and gave me exactly what i asked for, for a great price! definitely recommend to anybody!

Made appointment a few months ago with Chris- he was very good when he was in. He bounced so started seeing Frankie - again very good hair cut when he is in...made appointment with him and he didnt show up so starting seeing Joe. Joe bounced, stopped returning appointment requests so tied the benefit of the doubt and schedule with Frankie again...he didnt show! Bottomline the staff know how to cut hair no doubt. Those that I dealt with were unreliable with no set hours, no professionalism. Find another place to go!

False advertising and lazy barbers! Took my brother to get a haircut at 6:05pm. Looked up the business online and it showed they closed at 10pm. He walks in and 2 barbers were with a customer. One barber asked the other barber if he wanted to help my brother and he said nah Im done for today Total bad service. I work in customer service andd this is not anywhere close. Went down the street and found a shop closing at 7pm and they took him in right away. They did an awesome job!

Only giving 1 star cause you have to rate it. The website says 8pm the door say 6pm. We pulled up then the guy went to go turn the open sign off it was 4:58 pm. We walked in asked when do you close, he said right now then he asked how many cuts do you have we said 3 and he said yeah were closed. I was hoping to get the 5 star experience that everyone was commenting about but I guess that wont ever happen when you close early.

I was driving down Nacogdoches when I saw Ace on top of the bus stop advertising Supreme Kutz, with that type of dedication to advertising I knew I had to come thru. Frankie gave me my first undercut design and I couldn’t be happier with it. Great prices, Great People. Definitely will be coming back!!!

Supreme is the place for a cut. The shop has a laxed atmosphere that you can kick back and watch some shows or chat while you wait. They take their time with you and give some friendly advice of how your hair grows and lays on your head for styling. Pauly The Barber did a rockn job, lowering my ears and cleaning me up for my first time there at the barber shop. Its a great place to take the little ones, as well. If you want hooked up on your hair style, theyre the ones to do it. Theyre independents, so make sure you take care of them, as they will you. Definitely will be going back.

Our experience has been good since we started coming here. It was hard to get my boys to change their barber who was a lot further from this location. But, once, Frankie did their hair the first time. They loved their cuts and now my husband and 2 boys won’t change their barber Frankie.

Paulie cut my sons hair here and my son was happy with the cut; however, Paulie didnt show up for the next confirmed appointment through the app.Frankie offered to cut his hair that day and did a decent job. We booked another appointment through Frankie who had a different phone app. Frankie confirmed this appointment, but also didnt show up. When I text Frankie after over 10 minutes of waiting he said he just woke up and could be there in about an hour.He later text me and said it wasnt really his fault because he never confirmed the appointment and offered to cut my sons hair. He claimed he hadnt really just not shown up. I sent him a screen shot of the confirmed appointment screen in the app. He didnt respond, but he went and canceled the appointment that was over two hours old. I have screenshots of the whole ordeal.This location needs to discipline barbers who dont show up or just let go of the barbers who are not interested in business. Nice place, but I wont go back because of Paulie and Frankie.

Ive lived in San Antonio for 11 months, and have struggled to find a great barber. Ive had some good cuts, but nothing to brag about. Its not easy finding someone who specializes in designs. Then, today happened. So happy that I stumbled upon this place and Joe. Joe isnt just a barber. Everyone whos cut my hair in San Antonio did my cuts with strictly clippers. Joe took out the razor, and I knew my cut was in the hands of an artist.

Edit from last review i posted, Franky made me write a review mid-haircut insisting i give him a 5 star review to meet his store quota so i proceeded in writing the 5 stars. After so, he rushed my haircutI come to look at myself when i get in my car, i see he cut me on the back of my neck and on my forehead.Ive been here many times with great haircuts, but franky was just a bit rushed and careless.

To start off the shop was nice & friendly of course ! I love that the employees keep it clean and kid friendly as well. I had the best experience with the barber Frankie! I have a 2 year old son, who constantly moves and gets a little upset here and there BUT Frankie showed sooo much patience and took time out of his day to go above and beyond to help settle him . At the end of it all he did a very good job on my sons haircut , it was so precise and I loved it ! I definitely recommend this shop and Frankie’s service to anybody in need of bada** haircut !
