I brought my son in today. He hadnt had his hair cut in a long time so I was afraid of how it would go to be honest. He has sensory issues on top of ADHD so things can either go really well or terribly depending on the situation and how he feels.He began to get a little nervous and was going to back out after we had arrived. But Albert was extremely patient with him and talked him through everything. It helped keep him calm and even as my son moved throughout the cut, he was very patient and understanding. This really eased a potentially stressful situation for us lol.Since we left, my son hasnt stopped talking about how much he loved getting his haircut. Im very grateful for what a positive experience it ended up being (and of course his hair looks great too) !That being said, my husband and I definitely recommend Albert at Razor Sharp Cutz for anyone searching for a barber!🙂

Needs better management. Also if you going to go by appointments just go by appointments. Dont have walk ins wait a hour to see if your appointment come in. They had 4 to 5 barbers doing nothing at all just standing around talking while walks ins waiting to get in the chair. Thats very unprofessional. Dont come here they wont even greet you when you walk in the door. Also there landline ringing non stop and nobody even attempted to go pick up the phone. These barbers trash when it comes to professionalism.

I had a barber named Joey. He did a really good job with cutting my hair and doing my eye brows. I recommend anyone looking for a new barber or tryna a new place out to come through over here. It was my 1st time and i liked it. Will be returning back within a week or so. 😎👍 Thanks again Joey.

I went in for the first time , loved my hair cut. Gave it a three becasue 1. cash only and 2. the shave was rough., A lot of cuts. The prices are a bit high as well. Over all a pretty good place to try out.

This was my first time visiting this barbershop and I will say this place is a hidden gem! I have lived in SA for the past 5 years and this is the first place Ive been to that knows how to do a proper fade. You pay a bit more, but it is worth the quality of the haircut you are receiving. Their barbers take their time ensuring you are faded up correctly. The environment is comfortable and super laid back. These guys have definitely won my business. Thanks!

I absolutely loved the service provided. The place is kept very clean. We had the pleasure of having Darren do my 6 year olds hair. He shared his knowledge to help us come up with a look and his expertise on what would work well. He took his time to perfect his method. My son was a bit squirmy but Darren kept conversation going. He is a true artist and the final product was truly amazing. He even took the time to show my son his tools. I will definitely keep coming back to this place and truly recommend it

Was a great experience getting a haircut here. Staff was nice, place was clean, and they did a good job. I must have really lucked out too as a local businessman came by and offered fruit bowls as well. Super delicious!It seemed pretty busy and there were families, kids, and adults here. Seemed like the entire neighborhood loved this place. Great looking place and recommend it for those looking for a cut. I think it was $25 for a cut.

After moving from California I was looking for a barber that can give me that tight cut with sharp lines. Someone who was good with a straight razor and I could call my permanent barber. Eric was recommended from my barber in Orange County California and he has been nothing but a genius and artist when cutting my hair. I wont go to anyone else but Ive seen the other barbers there do some amazing styles and tight cutz. They take their time and the place is very friendly and upbeat. Guys are great and its like the movie barber shop. I could hang out there all day and enjoy the laughs! If youre looking for a barber to give you that fresh cut with tight lines hit them up. You wont be disappointed! Ask for Eric (Got us all cleaned up for my wedding in the pic)

Youll walk in and MAYBE get greeted. Half the barber chairs are seated with guys on their phones, scrolling through their instagrams. Hard to know if they work their or not, since they all pretty much ignore you. Youll pay over $30.00 for a very simple haircut. You also MUST have cash, since they dont seem to be able to take card. Youd be better off going somewhere professional.

Took my 2 year old for his second cut (first at another place). Darren took care of him. Professional, patient, kind and accommodating. My son fell asleep 5 minutes into the cut and with precision, Darren gave my son a flawless cut. With all the head bobbing and moving. He never showed any sign of frustration with us even let me lay him on my shoulder as he continued to cut. Through it all my son left out with his low temp fade done excellent and I couldnt be more happy!!! Establishment overall was is nice. Atmosphere nice for families. I will be going back!

I could have done better myself some barbers are good and the others well i paid but didn’t want too, very disappointed. Waste of money edge up and fade was not what I expected from a place called razor sharp i wish i would have waited for a better barber or get a i owe u haircut.

Does not take new costumers seriously. So i called a week ago asking if they took walk ins, and they told me they were a little busy and said i can come in at 12. Got there and they said “sorry bro i didn’t know” apparently he didn’t know he had more people waiting 😑 so i left and made an appointment for a sunday because that’s the only day i’m off. I came in at 9:55 i showed up early and waited nearly an hour outside for my appointment at 10, called twice and no answer. Very disappointed never spending another second at this place again.

David cuts my son’s hair and will continue because of the service. He makes my son comfortable and does amazing work. The shop itself has a great vibe and everyone is nice. I strongly recommend it. He’s been taking care of me for a couple of years now since before he was at this location & i switched with him and even though i have to drive 30-40 min it’s always worth it. The shop is always clean and everyone is really nice and professional. Setting an appointment ahead of time is always the best way to go. In & out within 30-1 hour depending on haircut.

I gotta give these boys 5 stars. They got some of the best barbers up in there. They hire quality barbers, that are artist, masters, iron sharpening iron type stuff. I saw someone complain about the price. LISTEN you are paying for a quality cut not just someone removing hair from your head. If you just want someone to run clippers through your hair for $7-8 dollars just go on base and let those people mess your head up. But if you want your confidence built up like the wall of China. If you want to feel like the man you could be you need to go here. My boy David that works here is a beast. This is art, they put their name on the line behind this. Go, and be the best you can be. I highly suggest this if you training on base and don’t want that bx cut.

I gave this place multiple tries but lost my patience for good after the last visit. Ive had one amateur barber gave me the worst haircut of my life because he couldnt follow instructions. My hair was cut so short, all I could do was wait for it to grow back. I took a chance with a second barber next time, he did alright. Of course, I made sure I walked him over and pointed to the picture on the hairstyle poster hoping he could follow the guide. I went back another time with underwhelming results but still kept the place on my radar because it was conveniently located in my neighborhood. Last time I dropped by, I waited for the only barber working to finish. (There were two others on duty at the time with empty chairs. Basically, busy shooting the breeze and not much else.) When the only one cutting had finished, he motioned to his boy, who had shown up long after me, to hop in the chair. I had had it. I walked out the door - never to return. (I dont pay people to insult me, bruh.) The place looks alright for what it is. But, in terms of living up to the hype skill-wise, this staff falls quite short. Theyre posers - pretending to be barbers. I suggest they take a trip up North and learn how the DOMINICANS approach barbering. Thats how its REALLY done. Theyre putting the Americans to shame. Skip this overpriced shop.

Decent haircut, overpriced. My fault for not asking ahead of time. $30 for a basic haircut, unfortunately Ill have to find another shop. Did a good job, but for $30 I can get the same quality plus a beard trim somewhere else, or $20 for a basic haircut only which is what I want. Was hoping to make this shop my regular due to how close I live, but $40/month vs $60/month is a big difference.

Since I arrived to San Antonio in 2013, I have been going to Razor Sharp and my barber @RayFade does his thing! Not only him but every barber is cold! Looking for any type of cut or design hit up Razor Sharp Cutz!!

They have a few good barbers but they must get to much business. They don’t answer the shop phone or personal phones so how are you suppose to schedule an appointment. Good luck with this place.

I use to go to this place but later switched to a better one. My barber was very unprofessional. Would brag about how people were paying him $50 for a cut in front of me, stop cutting my hair to eat, would read my texts and not reply when I tried to make appointments. The hair cut was ok if you need a one time thing, but if youre looking for a reliable barber I dont recommend Marvin.

Pretty awful overall. Atmosphere felt like it was a strip club. Which is not a good thing at all. Then I told my barber specifically what I wanted. He basically told me he doesnt do that and cut it the way he wanted. Now Im left getting hair cut 2 weeks earlier than I normally do because its so long again. Hes lucky I even paid him. I just wanted to get out of the place so I wasnt going to waste time arguing.
