First time visit. I walked right in and Kelsey took good care of me. She was pleasant, took her time, and did a great job! I dont understand how anyone on here can post a 1 star review? Really? Where are you going to find a good haircut from a barber in San Antonio for under $20? Seriously. Youre not. And my cut from Kelsey was every bit as good as the $20-25 cuts Ive received at multiple barbers in San Antonio. Ill be coming back.

Absolutely LOVE this place. We come here often for my son, and he loves getting his haircut done by Kelsey. All the girls there are very sweet and friendly! Definitely recommend this barbershop!

Have been growing out my hair for 5 months and I told her not to take anything off the top because I was growing it out, she started touching it up and told me that she wouldnt take anything off. She cut off about half of my hair length and 3 months worth of time spent growing it and gave me probably one of the ugliest haircuts ive had

This is the third time Ive gotten my hair cut here. They take their time. Quality is more important to me than quantity or speed. Plus their prices are fair and they seem to have a great time doing what they do.Just got the wifes hair cut as well and shes super pleased. Weve had her hair done at several locations and at Blues they make sure its exactly the way she likes it.

Went in Friday morning. Not even close to the haircut I wanted. I let her know before hand that I wanted a “low bald fade”... came out looking like I only had hair on the top! I even showed her a picture! Terrible, Kelsey is great.. But that Caucasian women needs to learn how to fade.

Blues is the Place to go to for all your Hair Needs. Very professional. The Staff are very Welcoming People as to making you feel at home.

My husband and son have been going to Blues Barber Shop since they first opened. Kelsey is who normally cuts their hair but everyone is great that they have used when she is busy. I’m a hairstylist/salon owner myself but i leave all the barbering up to Kelsey, i can’t truly trust her and know that I’m always going to like the way their hair turns out. She is truly so talented that i don’t hesitate to recommend any men that ask me where they should get their hair cut at. My son who is 4 years old loves going to the barbershop to get gel that is green colored and lollipops and my husband like that the offer beer!

Had my first experience at Blues, and it was not pleasant at all. I think Great Clips is far better. After coming home and my wife asking what happened to your hair?!?! I knew it wasnt only me. They cut the front like if I have bangs, (shorts ones, like dumb and dumber) and the back of my head doesnt even look like it has a fade. Its completely sharp like if my hairline ends way up. A complete waste of time and money. Definitely not going back at all!!

Great barber shop they make you look good and they are open every day except Sunday. The ladies take great pride in what they do.

Kelsey and her staff are fantastic I have not had a bad cut yet and the price you can’t beat! Everyone else is charging double or triple what they are and you get the great quality you can expect from someone who has been cutting hair as long as Kelsey has. I do my best to get my hair cut weekly there and they never disappoint!

Blues is the only place I will go to get a quality cut. If you are looking for a quality barber shop, you need to come here! This is not an in and out in 5 minutes barber shop. This barbershop is so fun. The atmosphere is classic and cool with very modern, trendy cuts for my guys. We got in and out quick as a walk in with a full wait list. These stylists are awesome! This place is amazing! This is my second time here at Blues Barber Shop💈 and they always do a great job with my son. Mind you hes three years old and can get fussy, but they always manage to calm him down. Thank you to Priscilla for giving a son a nice hair cut. Totally recommend this place for a great hair cut and great hospitality.

Went for a cut the girl that cut my hair took way to long. I’m all for a good cut but not when it’s over an hour. Even then the cut was just okay, felt like it should have been better. Don’t think I would be coming back for another haircut. But the shop did have a nice atmosphere.

Great women, friendly conversations, and great hair cuts

Normally get my hair done at sport clips because of the beard trims. This was much better, she took her time and didn’t rush me out of the chair for the next guy in line, attention to the person in the chair not the next one. Really good experience, I didn’t feel like I was being cycled through. To end a hair cut like all should be done, straight razor on the neck, gotta love that.

Great shop, I was met with a very professional and courteous experience. Environment was clean, they attended to me very fast. Ask for Salvador his experience and customer service is unmatched. By far one of the best barbershops I have been to in a long time.

Very disappointed in the haircut I received. Felt like I was being rushed. Felt like the young lady cutting my hair could have done a better job, and it was like it was just half done when she finished. Was referred by a friend who has been going there for a while. The person they recommended to cut my hair was unfortunately not there. Such a shame, I will not be returning.

I got hair cut while owner was out from and paid $15 & $5 tip. I had to goto important meeting while I was there they noticed I had uncut hair behind my ears. I was so embarrassed. There’s no reason this should of happen I had high and tight hair cut so it was noticeable for sure. If I wasn’t in such a hurry to leave town I would of went back for my money and the tip I just noticed they had beer ect while you wait do they drink too cause worst hair cut I’ve ever had in anyplace in my life

She was talking on her cell phone while cutting my hair. When the call ended she stopped cutting my hair to spend a few minutes texting. I almost got up and left . i didnt . But I wont be going back. Poor service and the cut is half baked.And they havent replied to this nor returned a phone call.. I know for a fact they have phones!
