Brenda did an awesome job! She gives good recommendations but still asks before making any cuts/decisions. She made excellent use of the time and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. Definitely the place to go in the downtown area.

This was my first time using this barber/salon. I was very fortunate to get Arturo as my barber/stylist! He did any amazing job. I’ve been growing out my hair and had trouble finding someone who was able to clean it up without going too short. He did everything I asked and made my cut look amazing (obviously I’m a little bias). Two days post cut and it still looks great which isn’t always the case. I would highly recommend this location and Arturo for any of your salon needs! Thanks again, Arturo, I’ll be back!

Im From the west coast and Florida so looks reign supreme along with attention to detail. San anton, not so much from my observation and most barbershops here will attempt to get you in and out as fast as possible. Those shops would be out of biz in bigger cities that are about the A1 vibes. so back to san anton, not everyone has the capacity to afford regular clean ups or maybe theyre apathetic coin toss but i will say this place dt offers world class upper tier cuts. Julianna actually cares about the product she is pushing out there as anyone with a haircut is a walking advertisement. My barber in Florida definitely would get a run for his money... In my opinion they are worth their weight in gold. Cheers

Great staff! Clean environment. I was greeted and treated like Ive been there before. Kimberly cut my hair with such precision. They offered refreshments and a robe . Next time I will take them up on that offer. I will definitely be back .

This is a great location in downtown San Antonio to get a mens haircut. I recently had a bad haircut two months ago, and needed a cut that would grow back into what I wanted/had before. Kimberly did a fantastic job listening to my experience, offering advice, and constantly checking if she was doing what I had wanted and intended. Shes great. All other staff were friendly and helpful. Ill be back.

I feel very lucky to have found the team at 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons - Downtown Riverwalk. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and Leticia gave me the best haircut I’ve had in about 15 years. Needless to say I’ll definitely be back!

Wow.... I did not expect to experience this level of quality and attention to detail from a Barber Shop in downtown San Antonio. As a retired military Troop, I have spent a lot of time in Barber Shops over the years. The personal attention to what I always expect and am looking for, is second to none at 18/8. The cold beer on tap and offered in a cold glass, while waiting for my appointment, was great and might have a little to do with my overall outstanding experience but..... that was not the clincher. The friendly, professional and courteous staff is what sets this place apart and in a whole other Major League Barber-Shop category. Well Done 18/8!

I have been to 18|8 Fine Mens Salons several times now, I have always left happy with my hair cut and feeling relaxed after the complimentary hot stone neck massage. Not the cheapest, but the convenience and superb service is absolutely worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

Lets start... I walk in and get no acknowledgement. The phone rings and he answers still not saying anything to me while I stand there waiting for someone to say welcome. He then welcomes me after about 6 min of standing in front of him just asking my name. Later someone walks in an he offers them a beverage but I was not even acknowledged and still never offered a drink. I can say this place is very overpriced I paid $65 with my $10 tip since the barber was very nice to me. I got a subpar hair cut and I paid for beard trim that didnt even get a edging and no shave on the cheek area. I had to actually ask to get a touch up on the neck even tho I paid for it. My usual place charges the same price but gives me a razor edging on my beard trim, hot towel, massage and acknowledgement. Only reason I have 2 stars was my barber was very nice.

This is the best place for mens grooming. The haircut is precise. The straight razor cleanup around neck and ears adds a good finishing touch .The hot stone neck massage and hot towel on your face are awesome. Ive been self-conscious about my hair as I have been starting to bald over the years and now Im working with her to grow into a styled cut that still looks professional and Ive never been happier with someone who gives me exactly what I want! The services at 18 | 8 are also 10/10; you will feel like an executive receiving first class treatment from the moment you walk-in until you walk out. They have these special robes that they make you put on which feel very soft and comfortable so that you dont get any hair on your shirt; this also allows your barber to give you an even better massage! Yuliana provides a hot stone massage which is extremely relaxing after the fresh cut. The salon also has an assortment of refreshments from coffee to whiskey; whatever your preference might be. If you are wanting to experience a barbershop and havent found someone you trust in San Antonio, book an appointment with Yuliana.
