I recently moved and was looking for a new barber. Great barber (Adam) with excellent fade skills. Booked online and was serviced on time. The shop itself had good vibes and a nice setup. Highly recommended.

My husband has been coming here for some time now. He loves it and his hair cut is always on point thanks to Joe, his barbero. This is an appointment type of place. They will do walk ins but most of the guys are booked up so appointments are much easier. The appointment is a round about time, not exact (usually 15 - 30 minute difference), but for the service that you get while in the chair, its worth the wait. They always communicate with enough time so I dont think its inconvenient.

Been going to Joe Valdez since I’ve moved to San Antonio early this year. He’s been very accommodating, pays attention to detail, and offers everything I look for in a barber. The barbershop itself is clean and the staff have good enough chemistry/atmosphere that makes everything enjoyable. Highly recommend

Great service. The first time can be a bit offputting if not explained. They work by appointment a lot. If your expectation is a quick walk in on the weekend. A lot of times thats not possible. Take a barbers number and make an appointment. ALL the barbers are great thus far. Completely recommend them.

This barber shop never disappoints! They provide excellent services, from a clean and friendly environment to a complimentary beverage. Every barber you encounter is very skilled and always friendly.They definitely operate mainly on an appointment-basis, but they do take care of walk-ins. The wait times on walk-ins vary - I’ve seen someone walk-in in with no appointment and get sat immediately but I’ve also seen them have to wait 30 mins. These guys really know what they are doing. All the barbers at the shop seems experienced and highly skilled in all manner of mens hair cuts. Miguel is especially great. He always takes his time to give a thorough and professional cut. Hot towel is provided for beard cuts and well worth the extra charge. Results are consistent, sharp, and still look great days later. Overall, a great experience at a reasonable price.

Ive never had a better cut! Finally found a barber to go back to! Came in and told Chris Fades I was standing in a wedding and he gave me the best cut of my life. So crisp. After much looking for a good barbershop when I moved to SA, I found Los Barberos on Facebook. Its been a great experience and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Ive even gotten my friends, coworkers, and boss to go there and keep going back.They take their jobs seriously and are very meticulous with details which results in a great cut every time. All of the barbers are great.Some tips: Make sure to call ahead since they book up fast. Expect a cut to last about an hour. Bring cash.

I miss this barbershop and it sucks I moved. I have been through so many barbers until I met David. I live in Dallas and have contemplated several times to drive down to SA just for a haircut from David. It’s been a couple years but I still can’t find the quality of cut anywhere else.

First time there. I was a walk in and they were packed. They still managed to fit me in promptly. I got a Caesar style cut ,also for the first time, and I couldnt be happier. Barber was very attentive so he managed to calm my cowlicks.

Was recommended these guys by a friend. Got my hair cut and beard trim by Adam. It was well done, and the barber made sure he took his time to produce a quality hair cut. My issue is that i originally missed a call from them while I was taking an exam. I called back with no answer. the guy in the middle chair made sure that he let me know I missed that call while shooting me a dirty look as I was going back to get my hair cut.Their prices are typically what youd find out of a shop. Wouldnt be a place that Id take a kid, but thats not their target audience. Not really a fan of the locker room talk these guys engage in. Overall it was an ok experience and a solid cut, but just not my cup of tea.

Cool little spot to get your hair cut. $25 for a cut, but worth it. Ive worked with Hoesay and he always takes his time and leaves really clean lines. Ive seen quite a few epic beards getting trimmed up in there as well, these dudes know what they are doing.

Great place, great barbers. Never had a bad cut with anyone at Los Barberos. They recently expanded their shop and added 3 more chairs, if you need a place to get a quality haircut give this place a shot.

As a former New York resident this spot is a legit gentlemans barber salon. Low fade, mid taper, comb over or bald fade they got you. Listen to some of the best old school hip hop while drinking a free beer. Just found my new spot even though its a 25 min ride from the palace.

I called 5 mins before a walk-in with a hour left before closing and was looked at like a alien not all race welcome i felt totally weirded out by the lack of help and akward stares im positve they lack diverse barbers which defeats the purpose if you cant cut all types of grades !

Seems to be very good Locale but it appears to be an by appointment basis locale so hard to walk in and get a haircut. They have a lot of barbers so if you walk in and dont realize its by appointments you can easily sit there for a while before realizing it or getting assistance

Being denied service after calling and confirming that I could come in after 5:00. No sense of customer management and rude after going for the 3rd time. Previous visit the barber told me youre making me wait hurry. Edwins hospitality sucks... good cuts but no client management skills.Dont go after 5 pm even if they say come in youll get the treatment I got. Id rather pay $40 somewhere else and be taken care of.

Had an appointment and arrived half hour early. There’s no sign in or anything, just a row of benches by the door and the nearest barber said hello when I walked in. Have no idea how they know who your appointment is with, but I assume they have a system. Place looks clean and from what I saw they cut hair and beards well. Atmosphere looks like a sports bar, loud rap music and football on the screens.15 minutes into my wait the barber nearest the door told a customer they were only doing appointments. Apparently that was news to the people on the bench before me, a bunch of them walked out. My appointment time came and went, nobody asked if I had the time to wait. Half hour after my appointment time passed I asked the barber nearest the door what their system is. I was just guessing, he didn’t look any more in charge than anyone else. He asked my name and pointed at the barber who I was to see. That barber been working on the guy in his chair for almost an hour.I don’t have that kind of time. I had a 2 hour window and didn’t expect to spend it sitting on their bench wondering what their system was. I think they do good work and the one who did talk to customers was polite. But from what saw they don’t have a very good system for appointments, time management, just plain customer information. I’d like to give them a try but I just don’t have the time to drive into town and back on the hope that they’ll honor my appointment. Or at least say something if they can’t, give information so you can make a decision. For me it was a wasted Saturday because I had cancelled another outing to make this appointment.

I have a big, course, gnarly beard that I am very proud of. I hesitate to go to any new barber for fear of getting my mane chopped off! I read great reviews online about Los Barberos and decided to go for it. I scheduled an appointment with Hoesay--and I truly found the best beard barber in town! I brought photos of the beard style I wanted--square beard with angular lines, since I have a square jaw. I was nervous all while he was clipping away and needed a shot of tequila to calm down. But when I looked in the mirror, the worries went away. Awesome job! Best beard barber around. Never fear Los Barberos and Hoesay! You wont regret going to this shop if you want a cool, contemporary cut.

They never.. Answer their phone. It will ring till the end of time unless you keep calling and calling. If you show up without an appointment they say you shouldve called for a appointment. Well I did several times but NO ONE ANSWERS. Overall the haircuts r really good its just they dont answer the phone and get distracted a lot.

Visited Los Barberos for the first time and all I can say is this place is legit. I was a walk-in so I had to wait a bit because they were busy and had appointments. I didnt mind at all because I got to watch the skills and professionalism these barbers have. The gentleman Yamin that cut my hair is very professional and skilled so Im glad I had to wait and ended up with him. Im getting lots of compliments on my cut thanks to him. They definitely have a new regular with me and when my hair isnt looking right I will be back, but with an appointment next time. Came here back in 2014. Couldnt find a good barber while i was in town on military training. My buddy found this shop and the guy by the door fit me and my buddy in last min. Came in and didnt wait long at all for our appointment. One of the best cuts i ever had. Im coming back into town after new years. Hopefully i can ge the same love.

I’m from California, here in SA to work for Argyle Security. David did a great job with my haircut. The owner instantly asked if I was a walk in or if I had an appointment cause they go off of appointments Friday’s & Saturday’s. It was about a 15min wait as a walk in. Loved the customer service & the cut for a resonable price. Will definelty be going back as long as I’m here at SA. David definelty went out of his way to recommend me some good places to go to this upcoming Monday with my girl & my baby girl. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!

Place gives great haircuts. However service the consideration is very low.Visit one: set appointment one day prior showed up and waited 20 minutes for me to get my turn for my scheduled haircut because he decided to inherit a walk in.Visit two: set apointment earlier in the day. I showed up 15 min late due to traffic. Charged me for full hair cut service and told me he wont be able to cut my hair that day.Id understand if he would have made me pay a fee but i wont be spending 50 bucks on a haircut with a double standard being imposed with. O consideration. Im disputing the ordeal with my bank due to no services provided. If i waited. They should be able to wait aswell.

When I was recommended to this place about the stuff they have but not service and experience they didnt have. Maybe it was just one bad apple. Only good thing, I didnt have to wait long. But when I asked for a MID bald fade, not a low fade. Seems I had to correct him then I just gave up, on when he asked me how high do I want the fade. I left out to pay someone else to correct it. I highly recommend to go to VALLEY HI RAZOR SHARP CUTZ. I paid to not to come back. Dont call to schedule appt seems there to good for anyone there LOL. Not worth it at all, if you dont know how to fade or know between a mid fade and a low fade.
