I love this place! Robert and Vince with their team are the best mechanics you can get in South Texas. Probably the whole state as I have met some shifty mechanics up east too! I have been going here since 2016 and every time, they have been completely honest and charge fair prices. I convinced family members to try them too instead of shady Pep Boys or pump/dump chain mechanics and they all love going here too!Today, I was needing my car checked before a trip to Dallas and they agreed to squeeze me in (it was my fault, I meant to arrive earlier). They not only did, but they didnt shaft me when they could see I was concerned about a road trip. Im sort of easy prey to mechanics and neither Robert or Vince (and team) have ever made me question their determinations, unlike the shady mechanics who pretend your car is about to fall apart in two seconds unless you do thousand dollar repairs right away. Ive taken two cars here and while Im sure they miss the old money pit PT Cruiser I had, they definitely work on my Toyota with the same professionalism.The one time they made a mistake (and it wasnt even their mistake, Chrysler just makes bad cars), they fixed it right away at no cost. Thats how I knew they were my only mechanic I was willing to drive for!Long story short: TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Ignore the fancy deals that chains pretend to give you and go to REPUTABLE Two Aces Auto Repair! You will save money and a lot of peace of mind! This was our first time taking our vehicle to 2 Aces Auto and Robert and his team are truly awesome. They fixed my car and had it back to me in two days I was impressed. They fixed my oil leak, put on a new alternator, a new overflow bottle and hose for the radiator! They also went above and beyond to recharge my AC and plugged my code in for the radio. Definitely well continue taking all our vehicles there.

My A/C stopped working and I just KNEW I was facing a Bill for Several Hundred $$$... WRONG!!! I came here, Robert had a look and FIXED IT in under an Hour for MINIMAL COST!!! My (*older) car recently showed signs of exhaustion and possible expiration, including a SES light. Finding a honest & reliable mechanic seemed daunting. Definitely not in my skillset. This included comparisons re: experience, certifications, customer reviews, BBB ratings etc.Robert, Vince, and the team at 2 Aces MET and EXCEEDED my expectations! These guys are 100% solid! My previous mechanic retired. Everybody needs a good mechanic, electrician, plumber and so on. I was so happy that I found Robert and Vince at two aces, it’s a great description of these guys, they are top-notch and very caring. Robert kept me updated throughout the repair process and gave me great suggestions on what repairs needed and didn’t need to be done. Not very often do I make such strong suggestions but this repair shop deserves it!

Odd, called about a couple of negative reviews I was concerned about. This garage was recommended by a previous service writer at Cavendar. Owner got on the phone and berated me about not reading all the positive reviews and laughed at me. My father still let them service the car for some type of seal/gasket change after they addressed it after a routine oil change. Two weeks later, the check engine light came on and stayed on for 2 days and went off. My daughter had the car for 7 years and NEVER had a check engine light come on until we went to that garage. Got rid of the car immediately and bought a new car.

Excellent service, full of integrity.I went to 2 Aces for a second opinion on a severe leak that Universal Toyota found, which would have cost me ~$1,500 to repair at Toyota. Got a free assessment at 2 Aces and my leak was more of a small drop of fluid, which they cleaned away. Robert asked me to come back in a couple weeks to ensure that no further fluid or leaks occurred.I went back today and also had an oil change done. No leaks and a fast oil change = win! 2 Aces has earned my future loyalty for all repairs and maintenance. Highly recommend!!

I realize it takes time when cars are in the shop and my life problems arent their problem. They not only got my car ready a day earlier than expected, but they worked fast and professionally to get me safely back on the road. They were upfront with costs and gave me options. Not sure Ill ever be back in San Antonio, but if I was, and needed car work, I would be back here with these guys.

Charge top dollar for any and every repair. Seriously, after they quote you here google the repair job and you will see. Most of these reviews are from friends and family. Also everytime I used to bring my car here my radiator always ended up cracked (on multiple cars)... Hmm weird, and even though I knew a mutual friend I still payed top dollar on repairs everytime. Leaving this review now because I am older and am a mechanic now and remember how much money these guys got me for when I was trying to get started in life. Sad.

I went in to check my AC in my Odyssey, they were very curtious and efficient. Turns out it was a relay but he informed me of the potential air compressor failing soon. I then took my Highlander in and found it need new front struts. Again very honest and efficient. I highly recommend this shop to anyone especially those new to the area, I wish I found out of the amazing service and great prices here when we first arrived to San Antonio.

I found Two Aces Auto Repair quite by accident. I went to get a vehicle inspected and waited at one of the quicker stickers and nobody showed p to open. I did a quick search and discovered Two Aces. I asked about some auto repairs I needed done and they were less expensive that another service company I had been using. I gave them a shot and have been taking our vehicle there ever since.One of the thing I like best, is they will tell you all your options and dont just try and sell you repairs that are not needed. The are truly professional and I trust them completely. They perform fair and honest work. I not sure how long I have been going there, but it has been years. Give them a shot!

I took my 2014 Ram 3500 DRW in to replace both front hub assemblies and to get the brakes done on all 4 corners. I talked to Robert at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process. These guys are the best in town! The AC in my work truck went out, i called around for estimates and their prices were BY FAR the best. My repair was going to take 2 days, without a truck for those 2 days I would not be able to make any money. They worked late the night I dropped off and knocked it out the next day, getting my truck back to me in only 1 days time. I cant express how appreciative I am that these guys made my repair a top priority so I could get back to making money. These guys are top notch!! Reviews don’t lie and this shop is highly rated for a reason!!We were on vacation going from San Antonio back home to Dallas. We pulled over to get something to eat and while in the drive thru our car overheated. Long story short I did what I was able to, but decided it wasn’t worth the time on the side of the road. So, I took the car to the nearest place I felt I could make it to without blowing the motor. It was Firestone, will not happen again. Without going into all the details. After 2 1/2 hours and an over Eleven Hundred Dollar quote later, I took the vehicle back from firestone and took it to some real mechanics. I should’ve done my due diligence prior and looked at local reviews, if I did I would have brought it here to begin with. These guys got us straight up on the lift. Allowed me to come back into the shop and take a look at exactly what was going on, and helped me make a comfortable decision to drive the vehicle home and fix it myself. These guys were super professional, courteous, and most importantly honest!! I would recommend this shop to anyone I know. They don’t make shops like this very much anymore and it was very refreshing to stumble upon them!

Took my 2007 Nissan Murano to them for a Cylinder 3 Misfire engine code. They replaced all my spark plugs and Cylinder 3 coil, as well as the valve cover gasket. Car runs like new. Also got the squealing from the serpentine belt to go away, and they somehow got the TPMS sensor for one of my tires, which had been a constant warning light on my dash on since I bought the car that I had been unable to cure, to work again. I was charged less than I had been quoted before, and will take my car and any future cars to them for repair.They also do state inspections for registration. Highly recommend them for any car issues.
