DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Unfortunately had to pay a visit to JM automotive for an oil change on my 2015 BMW F30. Measured my oil upon leaving using car computer and discovered my engine oil was barely above Minimum. I sent a picture and was told it was halfway when it was clearly not. Was charged $150 which is the same as the dealership in town. Did not receive a refund claiming the “oil” had been changed, a “laborious” oil reset timer took place, even though the level is barely above Min. Living in regret now.

Over inflation, $8,500 2010 for a luxury van with dents and the last row missing plus over 185,000 miles, more than normal wear and tear.

Since theyve bothered me about my review Ill revise and explain it better. The total cost they gave me, before even doing any work, was a massive overprice compared to what other places wouldve done. I was told when I picked it up what was replaced, and then after they called me at 8am he said something completely different and repeated it again and again regardless of what I said. Kind of ridiculous to call someone so early like this, let alone a customer your business is long concluded. I also couldnt help but notice now that my brake fluid is significantly lower than it was when they received it, which feels quite shady, and dangerous.

Ive taken both my truck and my wifes car to JM. We spent nearly $2k to remedy the oil leaks and repair the suspension on my wifes car. At first appearances all seemed well, but my wife noticed that her suspension was now making a clicking noise that wasnt happening before the repair. After a lot of back and forth between my wife and the owner no further actions were taken to get rid of the noise, which is unacceptable. At the time of the suspension, JM supposedly fixed an oil leak and did an oil change. When questioned about the the oil, the owner admitted to never doing an oil change but charging us anyway.I also took my truck there to have an oil change and repair a few sensors. Not much more than a month later, my truck is out of commission and in need of a new engine for to running with low oil. Im my opinion, JM automotive scammed me and my wife into paying for repairs that were never done. I feel that this shop is responsible for the destruction of my engine. I am just thankful we caught on before my wifes car was ruined too. Im getting in touch with attorney General about fraudulent business practices, and recommend that anyone currently or previously involved with JM automotive get a second opinion and verify that the work is actually done.I didnt bring my truck back in because of all the issues my wife is having with JM with her car. Also my truck is at a different automotive shop where Im going to have to spend $4k or more to replace my engine because of running it with low oil. We trusted JM with our livelihoods by trusting them with our vehicles. This was a grave mistake. Especially, since the owner bullies my wife and calls her a liar every time she addresses him.

So a couple of weeks ago I have mended my first I problem with this company giving the owner the opportunity to amend his faults when he saw my original post he called me personally and started berating me that I was lying. I took two of my vehicles in both to get an oil change and in less than 6 weeks neither one of my cars had oil I would never take my car there and I dont recommend anyone else taking their vehicles there either he will charge you for things and not complete the work I called him today to discuss the reason why my car has no oil he said and I quote you can bring the car to me and I will fill it back up with oil and then I dont want to do business with you because youre a troublemaker how am I a troublemaker if Im only calling to ask why both of my cars have no oil after this man supposedly change the oil horrible horrible place to do business the guys a liar and he will be hearing from my attorney and the Better Business Bureau if hes even a member of them because with the shoddy work that he does Im sure they wouldnt want any part of his business

So the owner called my mom a trouble maker because she wanted to know why after getting an oil change with this company on two of our vehicles that they were out of oil he says its synthetic oil changes are good for five to six thousand miles but the sticker only gives you 2000 hes just a big rip off and I would stay far away from this company

Juan fixed my 2007 Audi at 100,000, as of today it’s 159,000 and still running great!

Friday, Jan. 29 2016 Wow! Normally I wouldnt have gone to this little ghetto place but auto zone wouldnt change the terminals for me. I already bought them and I had to leave my truck running because I couldnt chance that it wouldnt start again. I had three kids in the vehicle on top of that and when I got out at this place the guy said they were all on lunch breaks. Of course I see guys back there working but I guess he didnt see my issue as making his company enough money!! So he told me to wait for an hour till they are back from lunch and I told him I cant turn the truck off I just needed to have the cables stripped and the new terminals I purchased installed. I was willing to pay. He said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. What the hell! How can everyone be on break all at once. I saw others workers there and it was 2pm. Really?? Everyone goes at the same time on break at two!? Im discussed! They only want the big money!!

Work was done fast. My second time there, and I have been pleased both times.

I dropped my car off yesterday and the diagnosis (misfiring cylinder) and repairs were both completed very quickly. Car is running great now!

After a frustrating experience trying to service my Volkswagen elsewhere, I called JM Automotive to make sure I could have my vehicle towed and not be shocked with hidden diagnostic fees and random charges like at the dealer service center. Juan was extremely professional and helpful throughout the whole experience and I knew immediately I made the right choice with this facility. He explained the diagnostics in a manner that was understandable and was extremely fair with the costs and time to fix this problem, as opposed to being quoted three extra weeks to wait and possible storage fees at other places. I have referred him to everyone I know and will only be taking my vehicles here from now on.Update: I have returned to Juan with a few more problems and will be going here for oil service from now on. I have referred my sister, friends, and physicians at my work place. I cannot say enough good things about Juan and his team. He is professional, reliable, dependable, hardworking, honest, fair and understands completely the need to get my car in top shape for my safety and my daughter’s. The cost is fair and I never feel like he’s working to up-sell me for unnecessary parts or labor as other shops and chain centers have done.

We shipped our Fiat Motorhome from Europe to the United States and after a few weeks we had some problems (tire, windshield wiper, AC). While we stayed in San Antonio, I called numerous Auto Repair Shops, but none of them could repair a Fiat.Since JM Automotive specializes in foreign cars, I called him up and he immediately agreed to have a look at it. We drove to the repair shop right away and were welcomed by the incredibly friendly Mr Juan Arias himself.The shop itself looks a little bit rundown and there are a few other repair shops at Babcock Rd, so it was a little hard to locate it, but Juan made up for it with his very professional nature.We were told to leave it to him and came back after 3 hours, and everything was done. The AC and the tire were fixed and he even found an alternative solution for the windshield wipers (because they are from Fiat, you cant just replace them with any other wipers).The rate we paid was absolutely reasonable and he even adjusted our tire pressure for free.We are very satisfied with the service and can gladly recommend JM to everyone.
