We have lived in these apartments for 3 years now and have finally found our forever home. Elijah, the person we have ways interacted with in the office, has been absolutely amazing. He has been friendly, patient, understanding, and extremely helpful! Hes provided awesome customer service throughout our personal ups and downs here. The apartment itself is amazing. We have a two-bedroom upstairs unit, and it has vaulted ceilings, plenty of sun, washer and dryer in the unit, and is very quiet. In our time here weve noticed that plenty of units have been upgraded, so I imagine that all units would be as nice and comfortable as ours.Although there is only one assigned parking spot, there are a few garages available for an additional fee. Totally worth it.They have valet trash pickup, which is amazing considering we have a baby and plenty of trash that is too heavy for me to haul to a dumpster.Overall, it has been a wonderful experience living here at the Irongate Apartments. Im hoping the move out process is smooth, and have no reason to believe it wouldnt be.

I dont know why only 2.8 stars average for this complex. My experience is a solid 4 stars, and I think the only reason I have to stop there is, like so many of these places in Sacramento, the parking. Even so, parking here has not been much of a problem most times. The convenience of this location is great. Supermarket, two coffee shops, a dentist, pizza joint (okay maybe not everyones favorite, two banks, gas/mini-mart, UPS store...sheesh...You could live your entire life nearly in this small patch of Natomas. Oh...theres an urgent care place, a physical therapy, a sandwich shop, and yogurt place. Few places have this kind of convenience. The apartments themselves, while not the most modern or up to date are at least acceptable. Maintenance has never been a problem when needed. I rent a 3 bedroom, but I do think the one bedrooms in Natomas generally are a bit over-priced.

Very Nice Gated Apartment Complex After Hours Security But very pricey and the only really good amenity is the washer dryer in the apartment

I love this place. Ive lived here previously and came back a few months ago after 2 years away. The staff is incredible--friendly and super helpful. The apartments themselves are beautiful and VERY spacious. Irongate has been a wonderful living experience.

Worst apartment to live in Natomas. Our car has broken two times and management didn’t care about your property. They didn’t want to install the camera because they don’t want to spend money. All they do apologize for your loss. If you want your cars broken more often then this is the best property to live in. We are to lease end so we can move out .

I lived at Irongate Apartments for the last 4.5 years and am rating Irongate 5 stars because of the phenomenal job that Brandie (Property Manager) and the rest of her team does every day. Things were not always perfect, but any time I had a question, concern, or a maintenance request it was handled promptly - oftentimes in the same day. I was never charged for a maintenance request for which I was not at fault for causing. Any time I had a question, management was very transparent in their responses. The amenities are very average and, yes, the parking sucks if youre trying to find a spot late at night. However, the parking became a non-issue when my wife and I planned ahead as to make sure we had our 2nd car parked before 8pm and we would use the car that was parked in our allocated spot if we needed to drive later than that (tenants should have a little more personal accountability on the factors that they can control). If youre looking for a place where Property Management cares about doing what they can to improve the lives of the tenants, then this is a great place for you to consider. Every place has its own quirks, but Irongate is run by the best PM and Maintenance Team Ive ever had.

Do not move here!! It is not actually gated and secured. Half the times the gates that are there dont work. There are constant maintenance issues inside the unit. Staff is non responsive and lazy. Elijah will start out as friendly but as soon as you move in will have the same couldnt-care-less attitude as the rest of the staff. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!Edit: Nothing has changed in the last 6 months. Luckily, we are leaving soon but they are obviously trying to siphon every penny before we leave. Also, not a gated and secured complex. Anyone can literally walk right through it. Saw a guy ride his bike through, stop and hop the fence to dive into the pool, get back out and take off on his bike again. Just click on the management section of the reviews and that should tell you all you need to know. Goodbye and good riddance.

We’ve lived here for a couple months now and so far it’s been great! Can’t beat the location being close to the airport and downtown.I have to echo what everyone else has said about parking though. If you commute or don’t work normal day shift hours I would suggest not moving here. If you get home past 7 you won’t find a spot and you’ll be stuck parking across the street in the Bel Air complex

I have lived here for a few years now and havent been disappointed with my choice. Its quiet and very clean, the rules are enforced by Management in a timely manner. The maintenance crew are friendly and very responsive to the needs of the tenants. The grounds are beautiful, colorful (most of the year), well maintained, and nice to take a walk around at any time. We also have night security, which I like, and across the street is quality stores/banking amenities. Also, we are right around the corner from the newest firehouse in Sacramento and our area is well patrolled. Id move here again.

We thank Shenda and Nikki for all the help they gave us securing an apartment after feeling the intense stress of relocating. They took the time to work with us and keep us in the loop by email and phone till an apt came up in our timeline. These ladies are awesome and I just pray our stay is just as satisfying. That being said (The negative reviews are kind of unsettling I read after, but they are old posts) I must say the other dozen properties did not even respond to my inquiries or messages. We will see.

Im not sure why other reviews are so negative, but during our stay we had no security problems and the staff/maintenance were incredibly helpful. Parking can definitely be an issue, but there is street parking in the neighborhood behind the complex when needed.

I am currently living here. My company pays for it. I agree with all the reviews, good and bad. It depends on ones experiences. Girls at the office try to do their best. They are just employed by compny.Good points are, I like the apartment itself. Its spacious, some noise but comfortable. My car was towed away 3 days ago. I did not remember parking it wrong. It cost me $250 to get it back and taking time off work to drive 40 miles each way. It is like putting residents one against another. They did not provide me a picture of my car being parked under the wrong parking space number. Instead, they showed me the picture of car being towed away. The numbers are small and hard to read and u dont see them when you parked unless you get out of the covered place and look up at the entrance. They can easily put numbers on the apt bldg side, if they really want to reduce the incidents. Mistakes happen when you just came in or visiting. They can also issue parking decals for the residents and visitors. If someone parked by mistake in others place they can be at least given one or 2 warnings before towing away the car. Generally, I feel safe here otherwise. If I have to stay here longer, I would definitely start a resident assn to make these changes.

The apt and location is great. Its the management that is the problem. They are not forthcoming and will charge you every chance possible. A resident was murdered in their apts and THEY DIDNT SAY ANYTHING. It was all over the news but they denied anything.Horrible leadership. Money is their priority.

If You want your car glass to be broken often, you can think of moving here. This is not a gated community. There are opening for outsiders at all places.Car glasses being broken, car theft are normal here.I had my car glass broken twice.Management here is totally irresponsible.security is zero.If you come at night, you will never find parking.Management has no answers for any of your safety and security issues. If I could I would have given this apartments negative star.

Moving here would be a Big Mistake! The walls are paper thin, and the management is the worst. They even have a out of state water company, what? There is lots of thefts, and cars being broken into, one lady had all her tires stolen right at dinner time, so it is not safe. There is no parking, so i hope you and your guests like to walk. They threaten to tow your vehicle if they think it hasnt been moved in three days, I think they sit around and watch to see if you are driving it, then the little cowards sneak out and put some warning on your window saying they are going to tow it. Such a lovely place, except for all the bird poop, I hope we dont get the bird flu. This place is totally un secure, it says Irongate, but it should be named brokengate. This place is run more like DMV so it is no fun to live here, they just dont care! That should be the slogan for this place WE DONT CARE ABOUT YOUThe management also likes to invade your privacy whenever they can by entering your apartment a few times a year, and it is mandatory! Fire sprinkler check or ?Most of the tenent amenities are broken, and in disrepair.Avoid this place at all costs!I cant wait till my lease is up.
