This is a very standard Dollar General. We went in, found what we needed, and waited for a minute or so for someone to come assist us at the register.The store wasnt terribly clean, but that seems to be the standard for most Dollar Generals Ive visited.

Love Dollar General. I buy all my birthday, anniversary and get wells cards there. Such a great selection and can’t beat the price. Of course then I find myself roaming the aisle and finding great affordable holiday items too.

I got IDd. Which would be just fine had I not left my purse in the car IN THE RAIN. Sure- its my fault for not thinking that ANYONE could tell im an OLD WOMAN. I have GREY HAIR!!! I told that young lady I was old enough to be her mother. Common curteousy would have been to ask my birthrate rather than make me hold everyone up in line, while I run IN THE RAIN to grab my id. Some people just dont use common sense. Maybe its just me, but I was seriously annoyed that my MASK IS THE ONLY REASON I GET IDd by a teenager!

The people there are very helpful with locating what you need

They finally got mellow yellow back in stock, heck yeah. Shop attendants at this location were great to chat with. The organization and cleanliness of the store is more then acceptable versus other locations I have visited. Only at DG can I find such a wide variety of treats for a dollar in their candy and dollar food sections. Specific products being DG only (like awesome cleaner and two liters of mellow) make it a must stop store for me. I appreciate having workers willing to help and talk to me for things, so I look forward to my trips here.

Its small and always out of an already limited inventory. However the staffs always been very helpful and friendly.

The Dollar General on walnut between 13th Dixieland is awesome the people are nice they always help you its always clean they are always working,,,

The selection of items is almost mindblowing. I appreciated the fact they have full time restroom attendants who cater to all your sanitary needs.

I shop here pretty regularly and have never had a bad experience.

Staff is too busy following customers around the store for whatever accusation placed on the customer, instead of cleaning the aisles and making room for the customer to walk and browse for shopping.

State a little messy. Cashier was polite didnt allow time for digital coupons to load. Possibly hadnt been trained to understand how digital coupon process works.

Updated review: (Again)So I added 2 stars back. The coupon download thing appears to be getting better, easier. Actually works. I shop DG for a few items regularly and have enjoyed the Saturday 5off25 deal more than once. 👍Previous review: (2 yrs ago) Yep, lost 2 stars from me since my last review. You cant trust the digital coupons to work as advertised and pictured in their weekly flyers. Staff states they cant do anything about it, but dont let them fool you. They CAN override on the register, but be prepared to stand your ground and prove you have downloaded the appropriate digital coupon on your phone. Sales and some bargains can be found on paper goods and detergents, otherwise pseudo-food and lots of Chinese imported fluff.

I wont go shopping here ever again even in a zombie apocalypse. If you must, make sure you check EVERY SINGLE expiration date on EVERY SINGLE item you buy that youll be eating. Im not even exaggerating in the least, over 75% of my food was over 6 months expired. I questioned the manager and was told I need to contact each and every vendor whom provided each individual product and discuss refunds with them. Its not the vendors fault yall leave things on the shelves past their expiration dates because youre too lazy to care and will continue to sell expired products to maximize profits. Place should be shut down if youre selling expired foods.Oh and look over your receipts carefully....they dont honor their digital coupons and they double scan items. Be very careful with dollar general.

Mispriced items ok endcap causing the only employee in the store to go to the back of the store to verify the correct pricing causing a big delay and backup of shoppers waiting in line.

Its conveniant and quick but they need to stick their shelves

Was able to find some really good deals on cleaning products.

Easy accessible, has decent prices on most household items you need, such as washing detergents, hygiene products, some food items ect.

People were very unhelpful. Even though we were there an hour before close, they were trying to do closing tasks. Couldnt even wheel the cart the aisles are so close together, but honestly couldnt find anything so we left.

They always have the little forgotten things I need. Great location.

Love me some Dollar General. But they always need help. You have to wait for them to stop stocking shelves to check out.

If Alice was a bit nicer and knew how to treat customers then it would definitely be a 4 or 5 star but she doesnt. She decided to tell my fiancé that she didnt have a receipt returning her items but she clearly walked in with a receipt. She went on to say her ticket looked suspicious and wrote all over it and all over the Gift Card we took in to reload. She wrote return without receipt when in fact she was given a receipt. I cant believe how rude she was. She said I shouldnt even be doing this return you look suspicious... Like what the hell is wrong with you? Do you harassing all customers like that? Or is it the tattoo and skin tone? Ignorant p.o.s.

The assistant manager on duty was extremely helpful thx keep up the good hospitality.

Friendly staff but the prices arent what they used to be in might call it a Dollar General store but I dont know anything in there theres a dollar and a lot of the products that you get are really really low quality like I got a USB cord in there and it cost me like $9 for 6 foot cord and it broke continue I returned it three times and finally just gave up

Customer service is a little slow. Store is a little small but for the most part I was able to find the items I went in for and maybe a little more lol!

The cashier that checked me out today could not have been more rude. Was extremely hateful and had no customer service skills what so ever.

Beware of shopping here, I went in and when I couldnt find what I was looking for I walked out the door. Halfway to my car I had an employee accusing meow shoplifting. I had to go back in the store and show that I had not shoplifted anything. Then there was barely an apology and it was like I was bothering them. Never been the like that in my life very embarrassing I must say.

I tried to use their digital $5 off $25 coupon on three seperate occasions. The first two times it didnt work, I asked the associate about it and they said that it came off of each item. I knew that wasnt true but I didnt want the argument. Today, when I tried to use the same coupon and it didnt work, the associate informed me that the digital coupon NEVER works and there is nothing anyone can do about it. I dont think Ill be using the app again or shop there for a while.
