What a delightful, dangerous place! Cases of pastries, donuts, cookies, and full size cakes and pies. We had hoped to find slices of pie, but we didnt leave disappointed. We bought an apple fritter, Napoleon (opera cake), and a big cinnamon crisp. All of them were good, tasting like they were made that day. We’d come here again when we’re in the area!

This was the perfect cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16. She wanted the yellow lab and it looks amazing! Thank you to the talented bakers and decorators!

We ordered 2 cakes for our birthday parties. Our first experience was great. Everyone liked the decor and taste of the unicorn themed cake. The second cake (fishing theme cake) which we ordered last week turned out to be different than what we have requested. Instead of strawberry filling they have put cherry (which my kids hate so nobody ate it). I was disappointed. This is at Rogers bakery.

Ive stopped in a few times and have tried a variety of things. The donuts are excellent and cinnamon rolls are done quite well too! As others have stated in other reviews the cookies are old and are simply a waste of money. The cookies look great but the taste isnt there. The staff is generally nice and helpful but I have had issues with a few of my orders in the past of getting the wrong item than what I asked for (my mistake for not checking the box/bag). Ricks Bakery is definitely worth a visit!

Rick’s Bakery made our wedding cakes for our wedding in May! We had a sampling appointment and we picked the white cake with white chocolate buttercream —it was delicious! We wanted something simple with three tiers, it was gorgeous! We picked strawberry buttercream for the sheet cake, and a chocolate with chocolate frosting. The best part of it all was my husband’s groom’s cake. They did the Washington Capital’s logo we asked for so well! It was such a fun cake. Delivery on time & as expected, thanks Rick’s!!

I ordered a special pie for my husbands birthday and it turned out perfectly! This was my 1st purchase and I will definitely be back! The employees were super nice! From the person who took my order over the phone to the person who helped me carry out my order, everyone was so helpful and cheerful too! My first impression was that I was very impressed! I am looking forward to going back!

Such a happy place for yummy treats! I ordered a birthday cake and the staff was very helpful. Before I left, I also got some cupcakes which were delicious, of course. I like how they have everything needed for a celebration on the fly - they have plates, napkins, candles, small pinatas, gifts, and they have ready to sell cakes for any occasion. They also have lunch stuff, but I didnt have any BUT next time I will try something.

If 3-Day old pastries and cookies is your thing, then you’ll love this place.I prefer cookies that are just hours old, not days.All baked items are reminiscent of a grocery store bakery- fine for the masses but not the discerning consumer who prefers bakeries that throw out or donate everything at day’s end and then start again the next day.Freshness and high quality ingredients is what I prefer. While I can’t speak to the ingredients, this is not somewhere I can in good conscience recommend to my foodie friends. Best to skip these calories.

If I could give you more than 5 stars I would do it. You guys did an amazing job for my baby birthday cake. It was moist, no too sweet and beautiful. Keep up!!!I will order another one next year....

We had a consultation and tasting with Ricks for our wedding cake, which we will need this coming July. Katie was great; incredibly helpful with all of the details and thorough in explaining all the options. The cakes themselves tasted wonderful, truly. I thought we wouldnt end up going with the traditional (aka plain) white cake, but yall, it was genuinely really good and thats the one we ended up choosing! We paired it with a buttercream icing and a strawberry cream filling. Im super excited to see and taste the finished product in July!

Very disappointed with the Large Elmo Cookies that were ordered for a 2nd Birthday party. Elmo was done very well but the cookies themselves tasted old as if they had been made a long time in advance. They actually fell apart when you took the first bite. For the amount that was charged I would have expected a lot better.

So glad we finally got a Ricks in Rogers. I introduced the nieces and nephews to their donuts and they absolutely love them. Cant wait to try other things they offer. I know it will be awesome too. Its a must try if you have never been to Ricks. Highly recommended!

Very cozy bakery, complete with a deli, coffee bar, and gift shop. The sandwiches are a bit pricey ($8 for a small/regular-sized sandwich), but good.The bakery items are good as well, and they seem reasonably-priced.

This bakery was just fantastic. We tried the biscuits and gravy, apple fritters, chocolate donuts, cup cakes, and ended up ordering a cake that looks phenomenal to pick up in the morning. Everything was just sooooo good. Highly recommend!

Tried out the bakery part! I was surprised they had a sitting area and a deli. Will for sure have to try that out sometime!! Had a section for all the cakes plus balloons some decorations, cute party hats... giant party hats! 🎉 the donuts were amazing and I just got a plain twist glazed one! Super soft! The lemon danish was delicious also!!! Even tried a little hog cookie! Was tasty and the perfect size!!

The pecan pie and lemon meringue pie were really good.

A faithful copy of the Fayetteville original but with upgraded ambience. The pastries are plentiful. They are good and go well with the coffee. Everything is huge and worth the price. We got our wedding cake at Ricks and have been complimented on it for 12 years.

Was in dire need of some items for my daughters birthday party this weekend and Ricks came thru with flying colors! Will be using them again, hands down!

I get tickled when people write a review about any place and say they can do better. For Ricks Bakery, there aint no way anyone can say they can make the quality and variety they have at home...no way! It is true their specialty cakes are more expensive than the average bakery, but the quality and flavor are 100% all the time perfect. We have bought probably over 100 cakes from them, and we have never been disappointed. They also have a deli with daily lunch and all the fresh breakfast pastries you can imagine. The people are very friendly and helpful. Plus, they have a case of gluten-free stuff if you are into that. Its a wonderful bakery, so stop by and get you some goodness.

I recently coordinated a wedding in Eureka Springs; the chapel recommended Ricks Bakery. This bakery is FANTASTIC!! Their Wedding Coordinator, Katie Martens, worked with me to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and needed -- which was sheet cake for a drag-racing-themed display that was surrounded by cupcakes. The bride specifically wanted cupcakes that were made like raspberry zingers. Katie and the entire team went above and beyond. I would love to post a photo, but unfortunately that feature does not seem to be working for me. Besides the cake looking great - it was FABULOUS! I consider myself a wedding cake connoisseur and that was absolutely the BEST wedding cake I have ever had. The guests agreed. Our heartfelt thanks to Ricks Bakery.

I had a great experience at Ricks. We sat on the dog-friendly patio and the atmosphere was great. The jalapeño cheddar sausage roll I had for breakfast was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. I love old-fashioned cake doughnuts, and theirs did not disappoint. The coffee was good too. I had a good experience here, and I would recommend it to others.

Whenever I come to AR we have to make a stop at Ricks. Its not a true visit until we have had a sausage roll (kolache)! They have a massive selection of fresh donuts, pastry and cakes. All those no nos that are so dang good!!

Ricks is much more than a Bakery! They have everything you could possibly want from a first class bakery. Beautiful special occasion custom design cakes and more, but they also serve up some outstanding Salads, Sammys and Soup!

My friends and I had a great time. First time we have got to visit since COVID19 started. We felt comfortable sitting outside after placing our order inside. Thank you for providing a safe place for us to visit.

Ricks always knocks it out of the park! They are great at recreating cakes you find online. I am always impressed with their work! If you have a specific theme you’re going for, email them a couple of photos and they’ll nail it! Also, the cakes are so delicious!

Ive had many great experiences with Ricks Bakery. Ive tried several of their birthday cakes each with their own unique design, each delicious and well made and decorated. My friend did have one underwhelming experience with them but they were able to fix the problem quickly and efficiently the morning of the party. All of the employees Ive encountered there have been very kind and helpful. Will recommend on the future.

The cake I ordered looked absolutely terrible. The color was wrong, the writing was crooked and off-centered. I paid way too much for what it ended up looking like. I ordered two smash cakes as well. They tried to send me home with the cakes just out in the open with no box. I’ve never had trouble at the Fayetteville location before.

Cake fell apart, not just the topper, the entire cake fell apart. Took liberties with the design which were not as ordered either.

Customer service was super friendly and helpful! They did a beautiful job on my boyfriends birthday cake and everyone kept asking where I got it. My boyfriend said it was the best cake hes ever had. Thank you!

Do not recommend at all very expensive and do not deliver what is expected I ordered a cake what I received does not look anything like it the picture that I show to them has a lot of detail what they gave to me was nothing even compared and they didn’t even give me a box that covered completely the cake which I think is unsanitary for one and two it was raining when I picked up my cake . Very unprofessional packaging and just over all way to Expensive because what I received was not what I had ordered

Really nice bakery. They only had one vegan treat (the turnover) and after trying it, I can say thats all I needed! The blueberry turnover is unbelievably delicious.

Purchased an Apple Pie. It was terrible. The apples were hard and the bottom crust doughy. I was going to just cook it more, but it also had a flavor that we couldnt identify and no one wanted to even try it again. Had to throw it out.

Not that great.. went here earlier this month with my family for the first time and the cookies had no flavor and they werent soft. Great American Cookies are way better.

Little piece of heaven here in Rogers. Their cookies, donuts, pies and pastries are wonderful - beautifully baked and decorated and absolutely delicious. The employees? Well, theyre almost as sweet as the food they serve. Always friendly and helpful. The only downside to Ricks is that theyre so darn hard to resist. Best bakery in town bar none, and worth every penny!!

If you cant find something here, then you are crazy! We live on the other side of the state but if we are anywhere near Ricks, we make sure to stop in. The pastries are fresh and delicate and fluffy and honestly, just a party in your mouth! You wont go wrong with anything you order!

Ricks Bakery is the OG bakery in NWA. As a wedding planner, I am always impressed by there timeliness, ability to design, and their friendly staff. Katie has been amazing in helping my clients get the cake of their dreams! Would highly recommend.

They might be okay, but I didnt get a chance to find out. I called several times to see if they had the king cakes in stock or if you had to order them because I kept seeing a sign outside of their store. I could never get through. So I finally decided to go there. I asked a woman if they had king cakes or if you had to order them. She said they dont have them right now because its too close to Valentines Day. I asked if she had anything similar and she told me she didnt think so. She never asked me if I wanted to order a king cake or showed me around or anyting. So I left.

Elizabeth was very patient and professional (thank you!). I picked up the cake at the Rogers location and was not disappointed! The cake was fresh and delicious! He was surprised and loved the cake!

Looks a little chaotic when I come in during a busy time but the staff are all fantastic! They hustle and are very efficient and super friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of delicious treats for any occasion. I really like that they open early and have fresh cakes in the case for last minute grab and go. We also love to stop in for a treat after school or when out shopping. So glad to have Ricks in Rogers in addition to their Fayetteville location.

I love their cakes and donuts and have been going to the Fayetteville location for years. This location is beautiful, but they still have a lot of kinks to work out.I came here for lunch for the first time today. I waited at the counter for 5 minutes before the girl would help me- she was talking to a co-worker. The register wasnt taking cards, so they wrote down my card number to run later. Ive been waiting 30 minutes now for my sandwich, which was placed to go, and still havent received it. The two orders behind me have received their food, eaten, and are leaving. Im looking at 4 girls in Ricks shirts sitting and standing around the corner booth, hopefully on break, but itd be nice if someone could make my food!Not recommended for lunch to go.Update: A lady came to my table three different times asking what I ordered, and just now is saying it was never sent back to the kitchen. 40 minutes later. Wont be back here for lunch.

Reasonably priced food in a quiet atmosphere. The apple fritters are outstanding. I go there at lunch for their soup and sandwich. Then I drool over their baked goodies before partaking.

I feel bad for the rating but the cupcakes have that refrigerated store bought taste. They’re reasonable price but not very good. I purchased the blue berry cobbler cupcake, wedding cake, and white cake with sprinkles... they all tasted the same. The browny wasn’t good either. I did love the decorations and birthday stuff they have for sale.

Great selection, we especially love the sausage rolls. However, customer service (especially on the phone) is very hit or miss, depending on who answers the phone.

With all the good reviews, I had really hoped for more. I went in to get a ready made cake with Happy Birthday on it for my daughter. The look of the cake, I loved and the service was quick, but the icing tasted weird. I was told it was a white cake (actually was white and chocolate) with white buttercream frosting, but it seemed like cheap normal frosting and the only way I can describe the off flavor was almost like black pepper. I liked the chocolate cake part, the white was ok. Ill be back to try some other things, but I doubt Ill get one of those cakes again. I hope it was just a fluke.

We had never been to Rick’s bakery although we’ve talked about it numerous times, so last evening about 5:30 pm we decided to stop and get some bread and maybe a few doughnuts. When we walked in, there was no employee visible and it stayed that way for several minutes. I went to use the restroom while my wife waited. When I got to the restroom there were signs on both doors saying they were out of order. By this time an employee had come out from the back and seemed chagrined when we asked about the restroom but said we could use the men’s as the plumber had just left.My wife ordered the bread after looking at the sandwich menu because the employee helping her could not tell her what breads they carried. We also ordered four doughnuts.The employee went back to box the doughnuts after we paid and said someone was slicing the two loaves of bread.After five minutes or so , I went to the car with the doughnuts and my wife waited for the bread . She waited more than 15 minutes for the bread and there were literally two other customers in the store.When we got home and opened the box of doughnuts there was no waxed paper in the box at all, and the very small amount of chocolate frosting on two of the doughnuts was now on the box and not on the doughnuts, so we tried the apple fritter instead. It was okay, but I’d put it on par with Walmart bakery doughnuts , nothing to rave about.This morning we opened one of the bread loaves to make toast. There were six pieces that I had to throw away because they had collapsed and crumbled and it was apparent then why slicing it took so long, I suspect the employee slicing the bread was probably in the back room trying to put those slices in the bag in such a way that it wouldn’t be obvious that the loaf was collapsing . The rest of that loaf has a large bubble about an inch below the crust and that may have lead to the problem. We understand that when baking bread, that sometimes happens, however, the employee should have sliced another loaf for us instead of trying to disguise the problem. We haven’t opened the other loaf yet, so we’ll withhold opinion on that one.In short , we were both very disappointed and probably will not try again.

I will never do business here again! I have purchased numerous cakes from Ricks in the past and they are good. However, on my Dad’s 74th birthday I ordered a German Chocolate Cake via Grubhub. After the Grubhub driver arrived approx. 35 minuets after placing the order, the driver called to tell me they did not have the cake I ordered and asked if a Death by Chocolate Cake would be ok. I advised the driver that this would not be acceptable and the order was cancelled. I NEVER received a call from anyone at Ricks! Unprofessional and unacceptable for them to make the Grubhub driver call me, instead of calling me themselves. They have lost my business forever!!! I understand that business run out of items and they can’t always update their inventory at a moments notice, but to not even give me the curiosity of a phone call and forcing the 3rd party delivery driver to call me was shameful. Their cakes are good, but not good enough to be disrespected over.

Even though it was crowded, the customer service was excellent. The ham n cheese croissants were super delish, the green donuts were hot out of the oven and moderately priced!!! Well definitely go again 👍

This place is adorable! We decided to check it out in the morning. Big selection of donuts - I’m from So. CA where there are lots of great donut places and theirs were very close to being as good. Fresher than anywhere else I’ve tried in NWA. My hubby got biscuits and gravy and a jalapeño sausage roll - he liked both. There are booths, tables and a large old fashioned soda fountain with seating. There were large selections of cakes, cookies and pastries. We were surprised how fair the prices were. Also lots of party accessories (candles, balloons, hats, etc.) available. We will definitely be coming back to try their lunch in the future.

Food is highly overpriced it’s stuff I can make at home for way cheaper.The design and flow of the layout is very messy and confusing. To get drinks you have to walk all the way across the restaurant.This place needs help. I’m sure the baked good are good but the deli needs a major overhaul

Im afraid to say it, but I experienced a bad trip to ricks today. Ill still continue to place orders and stop in casually.I stopped in around 9am 7.23.19 to get a coffee and although there were about 8 total staff, no one was taking orders or helping customers. I attempted to order a coffee but was told the only then menu was trapped to the checkout counter. So I gave up on coffee and decided to in just order a sausage roll. After 10 fullminutes of waiting I gave up on this too and drove to Starbucks.Though I wasnt thrilled about the service Ricks has the best cakes in NWA.Update: Back again and everything is great. 7.24.19
