Taken our vehicles here for various repairs. Check their website for specials. Nice they offer a senior citizen discount. On a vehicle weve owned 19 years (WI winters contribute to rust) once again it needed muffler work done, I asked if they had done that prior repair? They checked their records sure enough the muffler was under warranty, because it had been done at their shop there was no charge on those parts.

1000% would recommend. The ONLY place in the area that isnt trying to scam you out of an arm and leg. No Bs, fast, friendly, cant say enough about the service we received..

I feel Ive got to write this review oddly about a refreshing experience I just had with Wis Muffler. Honesty and mechanics are words I rarely use together. Kudos to Chris taking a confusion situation with a break job and the warranty of pads from previous work and straightening it all out. All I should say is, it was a surprisingly fair outcome.

I had a fantastic experience with this local shop. I visited Wisconsin Muffler this past Saturday morning due to a issue with my exaughst and was treated with the utmost respect. The technicians were very helpful, respectful and most of all honest. They explained things clearly and provided me with prompt service. Pricing was very fair and affordable. I highly recommend and will return in the future. Lastly all employees wore face masks and practiced covid safety protocols. Overall superior service!

Asked them to check my front left ball joint on my Red 2002 Dodge ram van to see if it needed a new ball joint because it was sounding like metal rubbing. I was givin the ok that it was okay and 3 day later the ball joint snapped along with the the front car roader.They didnt even balance my tires I bought from them and my hub cap was missing and still is. They took my number down and said good luck with that.So watch to make sure they do thire job get sec opinion.

Something that was going to cost me $900 somewhere else only costed me a hundred bucks at Wisconsin Muffler.

I got a flat that couldnt be repaired and needed a tire brand they didnt have, they were able to order one that same afternoon and they had it mounted on my car the following day at a reasonable cost to me...

I had my exhaust gasket fixed.I went into the shop and the man was kind to me and said it would be done in about 30 minutes. I came back and it wasn’t done and it was going to be looked at. I understood that.I saw a man get into my car and start driving without a mask. I walked in and told a man in the shop that I have an infant who is at high risk for covid that and that I would like someone to wear a mask when working on my car. A mask we handed to the man who was driving my car. I came back and my car sounded better but there was still some rattling. I heard it right away and called them to let them know and brought it back. I came back to drop off my keys and saw people not wearing masks and smoking. I thought okay well at least they knew to wear masks in my car hopefully they thought of my baby. I got my car back and it smelled like someone had smoked in my car. I let the manager/owner know of my experience and that I would write a review. The work they did was okay but their concern for health and safety of others was not.

Quoted me a reasonable price, and charged me less than quoted; said they were able to provide the fix cheaper than expected. I never would have known...they could have provided a shortcut and charged me the same...I saved at least $50. due to their honesty. Vehicle sounds great now.

Took my kids car there for a broken flex pipe. They had it done the same day. And it runs great now.

They are more affordable than anyone else I have had my car worked on by, in the 13 years I have lived in Racine.

Offered services at an excellent speed and price. Did not pay attention to details very well however. I had an exhaust job done specifying that I wanted the flange after the catback back done, tapering up to 2.5 and straight the rest of the way. When I received my car they did not remove or weld a new flange, they left 1 yard of old pipe, roughly welded 2.5 directly to that pipe, and then on the other side of the muffler downsized from the 2.5 opening to 1.75 again for some reason. I was quite disappointed, however their price was unbeatable. In time I will have the job redone at a better shop.

I was told my tire was too dry rotted to patch at a big box tire store. Call them up and they said they’d look it over. They saw no problem, patched me up, and in good to go! $15 for a tire repair versus $500 for two new (truck) tires. Very happy, good small business to support.

Brought my truck in at noon the previous day and was quoted a price and Time to time to pickup (it was suppose to noon the next day) come the next day my truck hasnt need moved. Mined you up until now this was a awesome place.. They have lost a customer that has been bringing them business for several years.

The gentleman I spoke to was very understanding and kind..he dealt with a meltdown, a hundred questions that probably didnt make sense during said meltdown...and they worked in a very timely manner.

Great, they told us to be there first thing in the morning on a Saturday to replace a couple gaskets and we were in and out within 45 min. Very reasonable price also. Thanks Brian.

Brought my car in a few weeks ago for some exhaust issues. I was quoted almost $1,300. After picking myself off the floor, I got three other estimates, (all much less) and ended up getting the work done for $650 at another shop in Racine. Doesnt seem right to me. I will be writing a review for them as well, with a 5 star rating!

My tire picked up a nice chunk of metal on the freeway heading from Chicago to Milwaukee. Went to 4 places to get the tire patched up. All 4 were busy or just refused to work on it. Called and explained the problem they said head on down we’ll see what we can do. Less then an hour later tire fixed and back on the road. Super friendly and Great service...

Thanks for fixing my Muffler, but my perfectly working Oxygen sensor that is only barely one year old mysteriously quit working instantly after you worked on my pipes. Now you want another $185 to fix it. Yeah. I don’t think so. What are the odds of the O2sensor failing on the same day and hour of my service visit ? Update: They unplugged the sensor and wanted to charge me to fix it. I took it home and plugged it back in. Works perfect.

I showed up 10min before opening and there was a line of 6 people waiting, as this place is first come first serve. I found the staff to be helpful and honest. They did good work at a fair price. Only downside is the lack of scheduled appointments, but they seem to work with you if you need to drop a vehicle off.

Reasonably priced, reliable service and quick turnaround. My large SUV had a chirping sounds coming from the engine compartment, set my repair limit. I dropped it off in the morning and it was ready for pick in the evening. Repair was a couple hundred under my limit. Your shop kept me right, in my youth you couldnt tell me my granny mobile wasnt a race car. My engine purred, V6 howled with the big boys and the suspension kept my ride standing tall on its over sized wheels. I proudly parked next to the ricers and could park up with donks and highrisers. Lets just say I loved that car, I owned it but wi muffler was the surgeon that kept it running. The mechanics treated me fair as I was a kid and at the time and wanted unnecessary things put on my car or done to it. Your mechanics helped get what I wanted at a reasonable price and kept me safe. I will never forget those employees: Brian and Andy.Well here we are years later and somewhat wiser. I hope to reconnect again when time comes. It was nice to be on first name basis with the employees made me feel like they cared about my car as much as their own cars. It makes you feel safe in the companies hands as you feel like more than just a pay check.

Dropped my car off at 10 on a Saturday and they told me it would be a couple hours. Its 3 now and I find out theyre closed and I never got a call to tell me. I hope there arent overnight fees because now I cant even get it back until Monday now. It would have been nice to be have some info. All I got was what seemed like a butt dial and all I heard was something about a smoke break and then he hung up. Honestly really pissed at services

I brought my car to this shop because the neck was leaking gas and it need to be replaced , I agreed with the price but then they called and said that I needed a new gas tank, they quoted me at 324 for the tank alone and 2 hours labor, In the end they wanted to charge me 654 for everything done and that was with there 11 percent discount.I then asked if I could just bring in my own gas tank and they agreed, as long as they charged me for 2 hours instead of 1hour like the mechanic previously told me he could do.In the end we all agreed to a price of 354. 4 days later I went to pick up my car and the mechanic that I had initially made the deal with looked mad but I phased that out, as I went to pay what was agreed upon instead of hearing 354, the teller charged me 445 and I asked why?He then told me because the mechanic told him to charge me that price.I dont like having surprise charges especially when someone looks at me in the eye and agrees to that price. Also as I went to my car to check it out the gas door was opened and now it wont shut, The mechanic said it was like that when it got there.A big lie because I took pictures of the car when I dropped it off and it was not like that, I didnt want to argue anymore.I am just disappointed because I trusted yall with the well being of my car. I also never expected surprise upcharges without my consent.

Ridiculously overpriced...my wife went for brake pads and was told she needed all new rotars,2 calipers and pads all around,ended up charging her almost $1000 dollars.the invoice said she was charged $100 for the front pads and another $100 for the rear. Couldve gotten pads for front and rear for less than that at oreillys. Really felt like she got ripped off big time.

Poor customer service. Called the night before about an exhaust job. Get there next morning to be told that they are busy and I have to come back in 2 hrs. This place is over priced as hell anyways. I will be going to Velasquez for a real professional job. They are very nice and do great work! I called them 10 mins before they closed for am estimate and made time for me. This is the difference between wisconsin muffler and other places. Other place make time for you.

Reasonable prices, and they tend to be honest and not treat you like an idiot like most mechanics. I have had exhaust work done on multiple cars here, and they always do a good job.

If u want the job done right the first time, definitely dont bring your car or truck here!!!!Was quoted 100$ for a check engine bulbe, and installation, but then was called back after cuz I needed 3 oxygen sensors as well!! The 100$ went up to $130, and 600$ for 3 oxygen sensors, I only had one oxygen sensor put in and the bulb, almost 400$ later!! Never again!!!!!! After that they totally messed up my husbands gmc Yucon! He even brought it back up there 5 different times and they never got it right!! We will never go back! It cost him 1500$ to fix what they did!!!

☆☆☆☆☆Update☆☆☆☆☆...the owner does care about his business and customers. He contacted me and made everything right...bought tires from them a couple months ago...took them 3 hours to put them on...they broke my step bar in the process and didnt offer to fix it...one of the tires valve stem has been leaking since and every time i stop to get it fixed they tell me its gonna b a couple hours.

I went to have wheel bearings put on, they were under warranty for a year. Had noise problems, had them check the wheel bearing cuz i feel that was the problem from before (the same noise was the same) when they checked them, they told me this was not the case. Come to find out from 3 different places it was. My fault I waited to long to get them paid for under the warranty I had however, I would not recommend them ever again. They use to be the place to go, not anymore!

I use to work for this place there always was a lot of smoking and lots of people messing things up. I was the only one that got the work out right and I got harassed everyyoue . half the people never brought floor mats out so your car will get dirty and slot more. Very mean place they say there trying to turn around

Poor attitudes, poor quality of work ,balding guy behind desk is cocky and unwilling to help by that i mean work (but these crooks will take your money).you cant even have simple tire repairs without a hassle everytime (3times dealing with this fool)just go to a real shop. if 0 star was an option thats how far theyve gone down in past 5 years.I suppose you get what you pay for here now. better or equal work is accomplished for cost of parts in driveways at home and money better spent than supporting these amatuers so never again.They dont get payed much and it reflects all around.But if you just need a hack job on your exhaust or just a tack weld it wont cost much and itll take about a day before you get it back or even a call to tell you its done.

Had an exhaust put on my vehicle by the racine shop. 4 days later, the rear section fell off while coming out of my driveway. When I contacted the shop, they denied responsibility and stated that I must have run over something to cause it to fall off. Left with a 4k repair bill for my damaged bumper.
