We rented a car from here for a family trip and everything went as planned....they were really nice about us returning a day early. They helped us get the payment onto the correct card and seemed very patient. Both office people were very kind. I will return when I need to rent a car again ! Thank you guys for your help!

Devin Cisneros was able to get me a car right away and was a pleasure to work with. When I returned the car the District Manager Katie Lusero-Christiansen was there and did my car return, everyone is so polite and helpful. Truly great customer service all around.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Two weeks ago I rented a car was disgusting. Old clothes. And so on. Return the car. And charged the card 500 bucks. Never returning to this place.

Katy “the manager” has yelled at me, hung up on me and has continuously given me the run around on returning my wallet. When I first went to rent my car from this place a trainee was left in charge and had a mental breakdown in front of me because she didn’t know what to do. I’m just in awe at how unprofessional this place is. I’ve done all they ask in order to at least get my wallet back. They have done nothing in favor of the customer but have continuously made my life harder. Save your time and headaches rent ANYWHERE else.

Was told I wasnt responsible for damage, because the rental hadnt been checked for damage for 4 months, nor did I even know that there was any damage. Rented the car a month ago and am just now being contacted by their claims department. These peoples word means nothing. Dont trust these people, rent from ANYONE ELSE!

Very helpful. After all the trouble I had gone through at two previous locations the young lady made sure to make it right. She was disgusted with the customer service I had received and the broken glass under the seat so she had given me an upgrade. She had the vehicle ready and did a full walk-around with me.

I had some hail damage to my vehicle back in July of 2020 and as a result I needed repairs which also led to my need of a rental car. This was supposed to be covered by not only the repair shop, but also my insurance policy. I returned the car August 21, 2020 and had not heard anything, so I moved on with my life. In October on the 7th or 8th $351.08 was taken from my bank account by Hertz! I called the repair shop who then referred me to my insurance company. After a couple of hours my insurance adjuster informed me that there was a mistake made and that my insurance should have covered the rental cost in full. He also advised me that he spoke with the branch manager and that she processed my refund. It took from the 8th of October 2020 until the 20th to return my money to my account! For me, this is unacceptable! They sure didn’t take that long to take the money and they were wrong in taking it they waited forever to give it back! Like most people, I live on a budget and 351 dollars is not a small chunk of change! Not to mention, they keep horrible records and always struggle to find your record of your rental. As a result of this experience I will not do business with Hertz ever again! This is a horrible company! A well deserved 1 star rating in my opinion.

The woman in charge of this rental center made me leave refusing to rent me a vehicle 3 times in a row. Ultimately I had to get the DMV from Ohio on the phone with her to get her to understand what she had read to me two hours before. She was refusing me service and making me have to fight with her about how the Governor of Ohio made an extension for all Ohio Driver Licenses due to COVID. After her reading the law to me she should have taken care of me but it was a battle. Non the less she tried to give me a tiny car that wouldn’t make it up my driveway. Ultimately she only waisted 3 hrs worth of my time. Funny right? The ford dealer associates thought it was. Not really so funny to me. I hope others have a better experience.... BTW they charged me $155.61 to fill up the returned vehicle. The key fob said 5/8ths of a tank so that’s what I put In. The same amount that was in the vehicle when I got it. Even so, the sign behind the counter read 2.34 a gallon. That would be over 66 gallons of fuel. FUNNY!

Had an excellent service here. After being sent to Enterprise by my insurance. Enterprise had no cars. Hertz was the only one left with cars. After being on the phone 30 minutes with my insurance and getting no where with them, the gals called my insurance company while I was still on hold with my insurance. Within about 20 minutes I got the car I needed. The ladies were wonderful and extremely helpful in a very stressful time.

I have similar issues as the three prior reviews. I was very pleased with the Hertz representative as he was a pleasant person. I was upgraded (not my choice) from a compact car to a full sized for no additional charge, but really, the gas mileage was probably not all that different. Alamosa has only one car rental option and that is Hertz at the airport, so the price is pretty high compared to other more populated areas. In addition, they are closed on weekends, so even though I returned my car on Saturday, I had to pay for Sunday, as well. I am giving three stars due to the high price.

I wish there were minus stars. My AAA membership entitles me to a one day free rental from Hertz if I break down and have my vehicle towed to a shop. Nice benefit right? So triple a calls hertz and they tell us on a 3 way call that theres not a vehicle available in the whole city of Pueblo Colorado. Thinking thats fishy I call the nearest hertz and ask if a certain kind of car is available, not telling him about triple a yet. After Im told there is a car available, I tell him about my triple a benefit. Im put on hold for a full 3 minutes and when he comes back he tells me no cars are available. Needless to say I have no intention of doing business with hertz even if Im stranded in a desert. I also dropped the extra cost of my triple a plan that included that benefit.Negative 5 stars to hertz and advice to triple a.... drop hertz!

This is about the Hertz in Raton, New Mexico. The small office was friendly and efficient. We got off Amtrak, walked through the historic downtown, picked up the car, and were on our way in no time! The car was clean and worked great, too. Thanks, Hertz!

I rented my car from the Canon City, CO office. The staff was very nice. I had to pay for 2 extra days, because the office was closed on Wednesdays. I had originally planned to rent the car only for the weekend, and then return it to a different location, but the fee to return it to a different location, was ridiculous. It would have cost more to rent the car for 4 days, returning it to different locations, than it cost for the full 2 weeks that I ended up renting the car for. My kids loved the car, and the gas mileage was great!

I only give it 4 stars because I had to comeback and get the oil plug tightened on my rental which caused a stain on my driveway... my HOA does not like driveway stains ($50 fine unless removed until one week). Other than that, I usually go to them and have GREAT service

What a joke Hertz is! The lady at the front counter Reena was extremely nice! Shanna called me and confirmed, then tells me that I need a debit card and id. No problem I have that. Mind you I have no car due to being in an accident which was not my fault. I pay extra thru my insurance company to be able to get a rental in this situation. I come all the way down here and was told by Shanna that my card is not a debit card. Mind you its thru a bank and has a mastercard logo. She proceeds to tell me its a prepaid card. It clearly is not. I think she needs better training considering she is the manager! Never again will I try to use Hertz!

Horrible experience at the Alamosa Airport, reserved a car that would get good gas mileage to drive back to Missouri 3 weeks prior to the trip. Show up at the airport and they dont even have a car there for me and they had even called me that morning to confirm i still needed it. Have to wait an hour for one to maybe show back up. Ends up being an SUV and I have to spend quite a bit more on fuel on the trip, plus what if it wouldnt have been returned, I wouldve been stuck there. First and last time renting from them.

This place is a joke when it comes to renting a car and needs new management, had to wait a 1 hour and 15 minutes for someone to even show up to return a car. Even with calling there phone number listed to call for assistance.

Would have said NO starts but had to click on one. Terrible service lady at the counter was rude. The other coworker was driving the car we were suppose to rent. So the 1st lady told her coworker your gunna have to find another ride home. Drove all the way from Canon just to be told they dont take bank cards with the debit on it, only major credit cards as of Feb 1st. What a waste if time and gas. Going to Avis. That guy said NO problem with the debit card.

First let me clarify that this rating is NOT directed at the lovely people who helped me at both ends of my car rental. It is directed squarely at the Hertz Corporate offices. I picked up my rental car at the Alamosa, CO County Airport location and dropped it off at the Colorado Springs Airport. While the people on both ends of the rental were very helpful and the car was fine (a little on the dirty side - didnt appear to have been cleaned inside before I drove it), my criticism and thus the low rating, is with the cost to rent the car! $175.00 to drive a car three hours is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS - especially when I had reserved the same car through Hertz at the Montrose, CO County Airport and was only going to have to pay $85.00 to drive it FURTHER by about an hour and a half than I drove the car from Alamosa to Colorado Springs. Explain that logic to me, please, Hertz! Had there been any other choice for car rental in Alamosa, I would have taken it, but there wasnt, so I was stuck. Shame on you, Hertz. Oh and btw, I am a Hertz Gold member!!

Incredible waste of time. I went through the entire rental process, but when I finally asked for a Military discount, or upgrade, the guy froze up. When he asked his management we both found out that this facility doesnt offer anything for service members. I killed the transaction, and went with another auto rental company.

Reserved car 1 month in advance to pick up at 8 am. They called at 6pm the night before pick to tell us we cant pick it up till 2pm or later.. They close at 6 PM so no one could help us. Our whole trip was ruined........
