Very very bad company, they charged us an extra day and using tolls the day we didn’t even have the car. We were on a plane back home and I worked the next day. They basically told us we believe you but can’t fix it so we get to pay the extra 200 hundred dollars for nothing. We want are refund, I have my work statement showing I was at work and my plane ticket. WORST PLACE TO RENT A CAR!!! NEVER RENT FROM THEM.

I reserved and prepaid a rental 2 months before our trip to avoid any issues. Leading up to our departure I kept receiving emails stating I was all set to go. One week before our departure I decided to call the local office and verify everything was set. I was told there was a shortage of our vehicle type and it was out of their control if I would receive our rental we reserved and prepaid. I didnt receive confirmation we would even have our correct rental until one hour past our scheduled pick up time on the day of our departure. We were finally able to pick up our rental 5 hours after our scheduled pick up time. I asked the person helping me if I could receive a partial credit due to the late pickup. Was told I needed to email a certain manager with my request. I took the time to email this individual and like I figured would happen, no response.

They have been so helpful with all my travel needs the last couple of weeks. The are very pleasant to deal with and met my needs.

It was easy to rent, pick up, and drop off. This was my first time needing to rent a vehicle and it really couldnt have been any more simple. The only down side was that the vehicle I rented was either out of windshield washer fluid or I just couldnt figure out how to work it.

The entire process from start to finish was excellent. I reserved the rental and paid online. I made all of my insurance, extras, etc. choices at the time of reservation. When I arrived at the facility I was concerned that I would be pressured into upsells. I was wonderfully relieved when that did not happen. The lovely agent had me out the door and in my rental in 10 minutes and the rental was better than I had hoped. My family and I drove to Kentucky from Colorado and back with no issues whatsoever. When I returned the car the experience was just as lovely. In and out in less than 5 minutes and my entire $250 deposit was refunded back to my credit card the same day the rental was returned. I will be using Avis for future rentals and would highly recommend to all of my friends and family. Great job Avis!

Really nice staff even though we didnt get the car

No refund for days not used on my prepaid rental. I now know its in the terms and conditions but its wrong to charge for days not used. I work for Northrop Grumman and spent 23 years at Lockheed Martin. Rented many cars over the years. Definitely will be passing this experience on to the travel managers at both companies to lobby the use of other car rental carriers. Update:1/17/2021- AVIS did contact me and gave me a refund but not the expected whole difference. Im only upgrading to a 3 because I dont agree with their current no refund on prepay rental policy. I feel they should charge you for the day the car is returned because they have to prep the vehicle for the next renter. But, all the remaining days should be refunded. READ the Terms and Conditions! This is where they put this stuff with the knowledge that most people dont read it. All of my previous experiences were pretty good.

Worst customer service ever!! This location has hardly any cars available and they don’t care if they completely screw up your travel plans. Our family booked and PAID FOR a mini van to drive from Pueblo, CO to Denver International Airport. We received a phone call at 5:44pm the night before we were supposed to pick up our car at 7:30am the next morning to tell us they would not have our vehicle available until 9:00am and there were no other 6 passenger vehicles available. We have a family of 6 and had to be at the airport in Denver (2 hours away) by 10am. When we explained this to their “customer service agent” they didn’t care and did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. We will receive our refund in 3 Days!! We are now left trying to f a van the night before and have to pay again!! This is infuriating!! We will never use Avis again!!

Have never really had a bad experience here so far like I have with Enterprise on almost every rental. The 98lady with blonder hair. The young guy was well mannered and is and very polite.

Jennifer displayed some of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. She was professional, knowledgeable, and timely. Her inviting and friendly demeanor was a very nice experience especially in a time when this is rare. I would give Jennifer and her team my highest recommendation.

Horrible experience! Reserved car online paid 414.00. When we went to pick it up I needed to pay another 250.00 so I used my sisters card to pay...now its another 65.00 to add another driver because we used her car. Absolutely frustrating. I wish there were negative stars!!!

I called to reserve a car. The lady on the phone instead reserved and canceled 7 different cars in my name, which froze every dollar of my bank account and made all my money unavailable for three days, until it was refunded. This meant that, completely due to Avis fault, there was no money in my account to rent a car. The older lady working the register in Pueblo was incredibly rude and dismissive. She refused to do anything to fix Avis mistake and said my only option was to call someone and beg to borrow money. It was absolutely humiliating, and the entire process was a nightmare from start to finish. I will never rent or recommend Avis again.

Loved the vehicle and customer service. I was expecting the Toyota and ended up with the ford ecosport. Id buy one in a heartbeat. Quick in and out. 5 minute drop off!

They had a car when no one else did but when we got it home the car wasnt as clean as they said it was. Make sure if you get a car at Budget/Avis that it is clean

Over friendly with married men..very disrespectful. Repesentive didnt acknowledge me but she sure had to alot to talk about with a married man. Personal questions had nothing to do with renting a car. Made it uncomfortable that my husband and I will take business else were!! Your car was filthy had no gas.

Upon returning the vehicle I rented I was charged a fuel service charge of $34.05 yet returned the SUV completely / fully fueled and did alert the rental agent to that fact. The agent did check the vehicle for mileage however must not have checked the fuel gauge.

Avis was not the first company we tried calling. The first company put us on hold and never got to us. They second company only had small cars. Avis had more than just small cars and they answered their phone right away. They worked with us and were able to give us a discount. We also were able to rent the vehicle in about 10 minutes. Also had an easy time returning the vehicle to them. They will be the first company we call if we ever need a rental vehicle again.

I had reviewed many other agencies in town and found Avis has the best reviews. Followed my gut and signed up for the preferred membership and could not have been happier. I rented a standard size but they provided an upgrade at no charge. Very cool.

I needed a jump start on vehicle I rented. I used the road side assistance then I got charged 218$ when I returned vehicle! Not a happy camper. The battery needed replaced and avis wouldnt do it, wanted me to drive 2 hours out of my way to get a new vehicle. They said I could but battery and install my self. It cost me 268$ avis said I would be reimbursed but they charge me four a jump AMD no reimbursement yet! If you use them, hope you dont need to use roadside assistance... it will cost you!

We accepted a dirty car brought it back so nice he told us nobody ever brings it that nice. We kept the car an extra day because the hwys were closed we call and got an extra day he told us it would be 45 then why charge us 71 lost a good customer .

The lady there was exceptionally rude. And apparently, they will run a ridiculous credit check if you try to pay with a debit card. Beware this place and their rude employees. I felt like they were just trying to scam people out of their social security numbers.

Horrible customer service, first car was filthy, second smelled horrible and had a whole bottle of air freshener dumped in it. Was offered a downgrade, lol. Requested a refund, no refund. Dont bother with this place go to Hertz or Enterprise

Customer service was horrible! We had a family emergency and a car was needed. The time we had set to pick up the car was missed. When we did show up to get the car, the associate was very rude and made comments that were unacceptable when your job is to be customer service.
