I am so pleased with my Shellac manicure today.  Mina meticulously cleaned up my nailbeds and the polish job was perfect. She worked quietly and patiently.  The establishment was pleasant with happy banter.  Im looking forward to my next visit.

My first time here and I am so satisfied. This is probably my most favorite Ive had done. She listened to what I was asking for and made it happen. I will definitely be coming back.

Ive been coming to van for 25 years and Ive always had the best experience, the girls here always take care of me and my daughters.

Went in there to get my eyebrows waxed around 10:30am...I did feel like something wasnt right how she was doing them...though, I continued to trust that she knew what she was doing. All in all, got home and washed my face ( havent actually looked at them) until I saw in my mirror.. she literally waxed a good chunk of my left eyebrow off. Now I feel absolutely embarrassed and I have a HUGE awkward gap between my eyebrows. My left eyebrow is hideous. When I called, the person who answered did not even care just said, ugh huh, okay. I used to go in to get my nails or eye brows done but will not ever go back after today. Very unprofessional.

I just got my nails done on Wednesday, they are all lifting and luckily this one popped off so I was able to catch that I have a nail fungus growing, it is on almost every nail, so gross! My sister’s nails have the same thing and are turning black. The Dr told her it was from using dirty tools. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Everyone at Star Nails is wonderful, but Christine is the absolute best there is! I leave with the exact look and feel I want everytime! Highly recommend!

Theres a BEFORE and an AFTER. my new set has been great. no lifting. perfectly shaped. and still looks great after almost 3 weeks! (I usually get fills every 2 weeks but the holidays made my schedule wonky.)Im a stay at home mom of a 3yo who is a lot of work and my nails have held up awesome! got them done by Van. ❤ sweet lady. definitely will be going to her again.

Always an amazing job, great pricing and super gentle. I had just taken off my last set two days prior and my nails were super thin and painful, no complaints here.

I scheduled a pedi for my mother law for her bday. service #2 $35, Lee did a good job. She got a good clipping/trim, citrus scrub, wax, hot towel, lotion massage w/polish. We added a no appt mani and they still did a good job w/a massage at the end for $32. It was a great experience!

Normally I give them 5 stars but whenever I get my nails done by one lady in particular Im leaving disappointed and injured or poor quality/poor service.

We got deluxe manicures, the paraphen wax was awesome! They did a good job on the nail shape.I however did not care for them requiring you to pay for the files with the covid law requiring new files for each customer.

Star Nails is a fabulous nail salon. Van, the owner, is very knowledgable about nail care. She can make great recommendations even if youve never been to their salon. They are covid compliant; the are acrylic screens up at every station. Love this place.

Amazing job. They really listen to what you want. And dont care if you ask questions to get exactly what you want. Right now Im into more just my natural nails. But are amazing at design and coffin and such. They are very well priced too. I suggest making an appointment. They are almost always busy.

The acrylic nails done here last the longest than all the other nail salons I’ve been to. Star Nails may not be fancy and give you cocktails but the ladies there do a great job!!Update 04/17/21: same ladies doing excellent work. I can’t believe I’ve been coming here since 2010. Van is my favorite!! Everything is social distanced and wiped down. They wear masks and face shields and have barriers. It’s worth the drive from wherever you’re coming from

I have been there a few times and this time I brought my mom along with and they were so rude and rough the girl that did my moms nails was rough,she kept burning her nails and kept slapping her hands. While the girl that did mine kept throwing my hands away from her and I asked her if she could put an apex in my nails and they are so chunky and she left acrylic all over my nails

Loved the place was amazing. They didnt hurry me like other places that have done so. They were pacient and took their time. I just didnt like that we got there first and (what i believe was a regular because they knew her by name and she had her tools) she was taken before us. Other than that it was a good first time experience for my friend

I would only get a manicure here not a pedicure. Pedicure starts at $22 but they want you to pay for your nail kit which other places include in their price. So basically you can go to a nicer place get a better experience for the about the same amount. Even though you request, they will not cut your nails straight across. They ripped my friends toenails down each side. Not impressed will never go back for pedicures.

The owner by the name Van has been my nail technician for 3 years. She is fast and careful. She is always aware of what the other workers are doing. She wants all her customers to be happy.

The service was good my nail lady was great, but when the nail lady switched to another customer and gave me a new nail lady to paint my nails she got nail polish on my skin and I asked for an design on ONE nail and she tried to do TWO nails. I told her I wanted it on my left ring finger and she put it on my right ring finger. She never cleaned of the nail polish off my skin and never put oil on my cuticles.

I called Star Nails around 6pm, (they close at 7pm) and wanted a full set of acrylic nails. Van told me she would be happy to do it, so I arrived around 6:15pm. The treatment was amazing, she listened to everything I wanted. I was so happy that she could fit me in right before they closed! Awesome customer service!

Do not go to this salon! The only good thing I can say about this place is they got me in the seat immediately! My nails are unevenly filed, jewels crooked, some nails have body while others are flat, my hands were handled very roughly throughout the process, my nails hurt very bad which is never the case with me. First and LAST time ever visiting this place. Dont spend your hard earned money on technicians with the skill of a grade schooler! I desperately needed them done and took a chance but trust me... be aware!

They do great work. Theyre quick and clean. My only complaint is that a fill costs almost as much as a full set. Its not enough to keep me away, though!

Christina has done my nails for years. I had stopped getting my nails done and grew my own. I was in need of a full set. I randomly showed up after 10+ years 40 minutes before closing. Christina was more than happy to stay past closing and provide me with gorgeous nails. If Christina isnt available Van is excellent too. I highly recommend Star Nail Salon.

I used to love it but I wont go back. I took most of the pictures of the pretty nails on here. I used to Rave about the beautiful designs that they did, but the ladies that did those designs no longer work here. Now when I try to get designs, not only do I get shoddy work, I get attitude as well. Theyre not the cheapest place, so dont go for that reason. Theyre not the best quality, so dont go for that either. It used to be worth it for their beautiful designs, but now I see no reason to ever return.Also, they will shred your fingers and blame it on you.

I really wanted to like this place, especially after all of the good reviews. My friend and I were in the neighborhood and decided to get pedicures. The ladies were friendly but the pedicure was terrible! My toenails were not filed or buffed. No hot towels, no leg massage, no callus removal, no lotion or anything. We basically received a foot soak and a polish change!

Had Van as my nail technician. Made a last minute appointment New Year’s Eve with my nails way overdue for a fill. She still took her time and left me with a beautiful set and did exactly the same as the picture I showed. Made sure to go back and get her name so I could make appointments with her in the future.Edit: went back for a fill after having a good experience the first time. Got another woman (short hair, older) and was not nearly as impressed. Gave up on getting them fully shaped after she didn’t fix what I clearly pointed out to her and took the file away when I tried to fix it myself. Then painted some sloppy hearts on. I didn’t have the energy to fight it and not a few days later on top of having a sloppy set the white sparkly polish has mostly turned brown.

I did not have a good experience at all. I asked for shellac ombré and got streaky French times instead. The shape is super inconsistent. The left side of all my nails are overly angled and the right are straight. I asked her to fix the shape it 5 times and she would sigh,shrug and file a little then she would try to paint without asking if it was right. I finally gave up because I had somewhere to be. Some of my nails are jagged. There are bubbles in the shellac. You can see through the shellac. And there is tones of shellac in my cuticles. Needless to say i wasted my time and money because I had to go get them fixed elsewhere.

Excellent service. I had a party of 8 with appointment. We didnt have to wait long. All employees were kind and professional. Everyones nails/feet were done with precision. Prices are reasonable. Will be back....in fact this may be my new spot!!!

Mani was just ok. Pedi was like the one person said, basically a foot soak and nail change. My heels were snagging my satin sheets just as bad as they were before. Kim couldnt of spent even 2 minutes on my heels and I had expressly told her that my heels get very thick callouses quickly and please spend time on them. She paid me no mind. I think becuase it was only mani pedi nothing fancy or more expensive, that she hurried through mine. Extremely poor work for someone so long in the business. Ive gone to Star Nails several times over the last few months. Theyre reasonably priced for an acrylic fill and they always do an adequate job.This last time I went, though, will be my last. The employee I sat with was beyond terrible. She shredded my poor hands. Usually a manicure is somewhat relaxing for me, this person treated my hands like they were pieces of wood. She clipped my fingernails without making sure raw skin wasnt also in the blade. She filed the sides of my nails until I they bled and I jerked my hand away in pain, then shed just pull my hand back and file the same spot even though I was obviously flinching and trying to get my hand away. If my hand wasnt in the right position or not relaxed (i tried hard, by my hands were raw and bleeding) shed jerk them or pull them into the position she wanted.At the end, she charged me $3 extra because one of my tips was broken. Never in my life has any nail tech ever asked for more money to replace a single tip during the fill.I paid the extra money with no argument because that will be the last money this place gets from me. They had a good, repeat client that tipped well, and Ill never go back to that salon again. My hands still hurt today and theyre scabbed and raw.

HORRIBLE. I went in to get my nails painted. I had them already shaped, all the needed done was painted. I had them squared and they rounded them. Then I asked them to resquared them and they filed them to stubs. They couldnt even make my nails all the same length. I ended up having to file my own nails, when I only wanted them painted in the first place.I do not recommend this place unless you plan on doing your own nails, paying full price, and them messing them all up.

The nail techs were very rude and the polish on my pedi started to flake off the very next day. It was the worst $35 I’ve ever spent for a pedicure...they don’t deserve any stars but the system won’t let me post with out choosing one!!!

I scheduled a Mothers day appt for my daughters and I so we could enjoy our time together. Instead I sat while my girls had their Pedis. I had gel polish that needed to also be removed, they didnt start to remove it until my girls were almost done. Additionally my technician was rough, rushed through it and barely massaged my feet or calves. She was so rough on my hands, rolling my wrists into painful positions and made them crack.I will not be back again. $215.00 wasted....

Wanted to like this place but really felt like an inconvenience than a customer as soon as we walked in. I took my friend there for her birthday. We got pedicures and was told the nail kits were $3 each but a sign on the wall said small kits $2 and large nail kits $6. Huh?! Was told if I did the mani pedi for $35 and wanted shellac on just my fingers without any soaking, cleaning, or massage then I wouldnt have to pay extra. So $13 for someone painting my nails with shellac paint. I actually considered it but the girl did not seem like she wanted to. It felt pretty disappointing for the $$ I paid.

This place blows. The people are rude and lazy. The suckiest pedi I have ever received! I used to come here regularly a couple years ago, but it has really gone down hill. No wonder its a beautiful day out and no one is in here. Too bad. I wont be back.

BEWARE!! Had a full set done. The lady who did them barely said anything to me. She must be miserable there. I told her I wanted rounded, nude nails (like real nails) she didnt clip my nails before she started, kept yanking my fingers so I would relax saying you dont help left glue underneath...theyre CROOKED, AND she polished them! I told her about the being crooked and all she did was file this super short. My whole left hand is Fed up! The only reason I would even give a 1 star was because I called back and the manager offered to fix them. To be honest, I dont even want to risk it.

30 minute wait on a Wednesday so you might prefer an appointment. They charge $2 for a file kit but its yours to keep and bring back. I got a shellac mani and the service was not great but not terrible. Im neutral. Ill give them another shot because the salon was clean, they have a tv for entertainment and a wide shellac color selection. However, my hands feel dry and the skin around my nails is very dry and not nice looking.*Went back for a 2nd time, this time I saw a different tech. The service was still just eh, definitely not returning for a 3rd time. Im officially done with Star Nails.

Do not go here my mom got a bacterial infection from a dirty pedicure and was hospitalized.

I just got my fake nails taken off and the lady was so rough. It hurt and she stabbed my cuticle, there is a drop of blood. And it cost $10 Im just sad that I went there.
