Was super disappointed with my service I’m not one to leave a google a review but I was not informed ahead of its card only so I wasn’t able to tip thank god because I always feel bad not leaving but the next day a whole nail broke off she rushed my whole set they are all so thick & chunky for no reason the gal that did my nails used forms & tips so they all looked different & messed up I then had cut all nails down because they broke & looked like trash! All uneven nothing was filed down smoothly and I feel like I was overcharged for something that didn’t even look closeTo cute! The pictures below are after I had to cut them down myself! The amount of acrylic that was left underneath my nails & not filed down was astronomical!!

I loved this place instantly. This is where you go to get artistic nails. Prepare accordingly, art is not done quickly. I worked with Tiffany L. She is an amazing woman, and very creative. I came in with an idea, and she expanded on it, and literally created the universe in my nails. My photos dont do it justice. I love looking at my nails and showing them to others. Also while I was there I saw other nail artists designs.. this is such a posh and artistic salon. And it happens to be surrounded by snack central. I recommend driving through and getting lunch before your services. All the techs here have the same artistic mentality, so they are all different and skilled in art and design. Very highly recommend ❤

This place is great for a fun and edgy manicure. I love this location, its cute and very open with high ceilings. The service is great! I miss dining champagne through a piece of licorice though, thanks a lot COVID.

Andie did me up good for the holidays. 💅🎄 Im not a nails-on-point at all times kind of person, but wanted something festive this year and put myself down for gel nail extensions with elaborate nail art. Andie texted me a few days prior to see what I was thinking and I sent her a Pinterest board with a few ideas. Coming in, I immediately felt really comfortable - women who seemed really normal and chill, with random bouts of karaoke from the stations. Im so down. We landed the plane on a red and green tartan with snowflakes, gold flake and matte top coat. I may have said a swear word or two afterwards, I was so impressed. Im a little late to the review, and so the photo is about a week and a half after my appointment with a smidge of grow out. 10/10, will definitely return. 👌

Incredible place with great vibe and talented nail artists!I’m visiting PDX for business and was lucky enough to secure a session at the branch ( I later learnt that they will be merging the two salons).Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely girls at the reception and was offered something to drink and a wide variety of colors to choose from. While I was sat at the waiting area I had the pleasure to chat with the owner. Really fun and energetic person who gave me great recommendations for bars and food spots around the area.I then was greeted by the lovely Emily and we discussed about the colors and ideas I had for my mani. She knew immediately what I was after and was highly professional and efficient throughout the process. You can clearly see she loves what she’s doing and is damn good at it!If you want a fun but professional service or into off-beat/quirky nail arts this is the place to be!

Went to Nail Church and they were floored by how poorly my last Aprés set had been done on every level. There was gel clumped under the nails to the point that I wasnt able to clean them properly. They were lumpy due to poorly applied gems that were secured with a product that wasnt designed for that purpose. And to top it off, I was upcharged significantly for a service that was supposed to be a set price (simple mystery art, was supposed to be $100, I was charged $117 before tip). I appreciate that techs have to make money, but if Im paying for the tech to do what they will with a broad theme, its very messed up to tack on almost 20% of the expected price after the service is done, with no warning before payment was due.This is literally the one thing I splurge on once a month since Im very far from being rich. So that extra money was actually a pretty big deal. Ill never go back and will encourage anyone who asks me to go to literally any other salon

Awesome mystery manicure from Morgan! Told her I was going to Vegas, and she gave me this glitzy set. Second time seeing her for a mystery. I accidentally went to the wrong location because they had just opened their second spot, but I was early, so I had time to get to SE. Its spendy, but they put a lot of time and work into the details, so its worth it! I always get compliments on my nails from strangers after coming here.

I got a full set of acrylics, and then 2 weeks later I got a fill. My nails have never lifted so badly after a fill. The very next day two nails were completely lifted, I was really disappointed. I loved the shop and the employees were great but I’m not sure if I will return

I got a mystery manicure from Tiffany today, and it was excellent! Tiffany said she was pretty new, but that didn’t stop her from knowing her stuff. She asked me a few questions about myself to get a gauge on what I’d like or hate, and then proceeded to give me the cutest plant-inspired mani ever. (I’m terrible at taking pictures of my own hands, but it’s awesome). Each finger got a different leaf, and each leaf had an impressive amount of detail - it’s beautiful. She was kind and friendly to talk to during the art process, and I’ll definitely return to see her next time I want fun nails.

Top notch service, skill, atmosphere and artists are what you get here. Being a bespoke nail art salon, you’d better make an appointment! Everyone was so sweet and hospitable. I travelled from CT to visit these ladies and was blown away by the experience.

Poor service! Shady terms. Bad communication.My wife called ahead to let them know she could not find the property or parking. Once she parked and walked 5 blocks through the rain she was told they could not serve her for being 10mins late to a 45min appointment. Even with the notice that she was currently on her way in.They did not say that when she called to say she’s on her way. They let her arrive only to turn her away. They then charged the FULL amount to her card, including for a nail kit that she never received.Very poor and unprofessional customer service. Plenty of other salons around. First and last time we every use this company.

Everyone there is very nice. I got a full set which looks great btw, however they used the nail drill Directly on my cuticles. I got cut twice. Went home and two of my fingers are still bleeding.Update: the nails last literally 2 weeks before lifting. Very disappointed. Not worth the money.

Because of the train holding up traffic (1 block away from this place) I called 5 minutes after my appointment was booked to ask if I would still be able to come in. The receptionist told me if i could make it in before 2:00 i would be fine! We made it to the salon at 1:50 but i was told Id have to reschedule because their next appointment was already in! So i was lied to. Never coming back, dont recommend.

I got both an acrylic full set and and a deluxe pedicure, and I will not be returning. I got my full set done ten days ago and they are already lifting and coming off, keep in mind they werent done the way I had asked but I went along with it hoping they would turn out the way I wanted. The color has also chipped off the nails. My pedicure was cakey and due to that has chipped. The ambience and staff are really nice, but I am extremely disappointed in the longevity of the work. Not to mention the prices are extremely high and to pay $85 for a full set and to have my nails lifting is baffling.

Please dont put your credit card information when scheduling an appt because theyll still charge you the full amount and you wont even get the pedicure. I spent 15 minutes trying to find this place and parking plus I did call them to ask for directions. I parked like 5 blocks away and walked there. I walked in and the girl at the desk said I was 22 minutes late so they are going to charge me the full amount and have me reschedule for a different day. Ill have to pay full price again. Im a new customer. PLEASE STAY AWAY. THE WORST first time customer experience ever. Im going to dispute this with my bank ASAP. People work so hard especially during COVID times to get ripped off like this. My appointment was supposed to go for another 30 minutes.

Ill start by saying the customer service and staff are amazing - all very kind people. The quality of manicure was really disappointing though. After one day the gel manicure chipped. (Keep in mind, I work a desk job and work hard to keep my manicure nice. Also, every other gel manicure Ive had has lasted at least a week). They have a great 10 day policy, though, so I called and scheduled a follow up to get it fixed. By the time I was able to come in again all of my fingers nails had chipped, so the person I worked with filed down the top coat of all of the nails and repainted them - which was really appreciated.Unfortunately, again, less than a couple days later the majority of my nails chipped again and I was too frustrated to follow up again.The cost of the manicure here is double what I would normally pay elsewhere, so I really expected it to last, at least, past their warranty.

I have been in multiple times and have seen multiple different techs and have always had a great experience! I love the atmosphere of the salon and the people that work there. The artwork is always phenomenal and I have always been asked what my budget for artwork is, which I appreciate rather than charging me an arm and a leg. I must admit it is kinda pricey but you get what you pay for. My nails have always been stunning!

I love this nail salon for so many reasons! Every time I have gotten my nails done here I am more amazed than the previous time. They have the top quality products and amazing staff. I feel so comfortable and always have a great time while getting my nails done. I am a bartender and the fact that they have products that help my nails survive my job is really important to me. I also appreciate what this business does for the community. I have been to so many benefits that they are involved in. Ive been coming to Finger Bang for years and without question its my absolute favorite. Phrasing. 🤦‍♀️The customer service here is unparalleled and they are so knowledgeable, including on proper nail care for diabetes (so rare to find this in town)!This is truly an example of getting what you pay for, which is freaking awesome nails and to be in the presence of really rad human beings that embody what humanity should be.

FInger Bang is hands down the best place to get your nails done in the greater Portland area. Two locations for your convenience, both have exceptional staff. If you are looking for unique and beautiful nails this is your spot. I Have been a salon owner myself for over 10 years and I am very picky about my nails. This place produces top talent, you won’t be disappointed. I wish there was a location in Seattle too!

This place over charges you and underpays their staff regularly AND THEN the owner isnt responsible enough with her money to pay nail artists AT ALL! Multiple employees were stiffed on checks, BEFORE Covid, let go and will be replaced by new people upon reopening, therefore NONE OF THESE PICTURES REFLECT WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT because its the work of people who dont work there any more! Get your nails done somewhere else!

Such a great experience! I had been to the Finger Bang in NE and was so excited to have one in my neighborhood.I was smart and left early since I hadnt been here before. I found parking easily north of Division about one block up. I recommend giving plenty of extra time so you arent late. They are booked out and wont usually be able to move your appointment to a later time.I was offered many drink options such as tea, water, wine champagne or beer. They have a cool vending machine with interesting items that are not food lok. Condoms, cards, mystery gifts, etc.My appointment was with Morgan and she took me back for my pedicure....i know I know...this place is known for their fingernail art...but I had seen her at the NE location for nails so I trusted she would do a great job on my toes. She delivered! Loved the massage portion.I will be back this week for my nails with Luna! Highly recommend you try this place out!

Ive been going to FingerBang since they opened. I book all my appointments months in advance and make sure Im always on the books. I love all the people there. The front desk, nail techs, everybody! Ive always had great experiences. You cant go anywhere else.

Crazy expensive for mediocre work. It was $108 w/o the tip for 90minutes of someones time. I thought their specialty was doing custom designs but what I got was quite different than the picture Id shown and wed discussed. Maybe this place is best for someone who wants little flowers or something standard like that?

I’ve seen several of them regularly, as well as made it a point to book in advance with the ones that are typically busy enough to have this be necessary - they’re just THAT good, and good things come to those who wait. Every experience resulted in absolutely beautiful artwork, and nails that stayed put for 2-3 weeks or until my next appointment. As a massage therapist, I’m rough on my hands with constantly washing and applying pressure, and I’ve never before had nails as strong as they’ve been when I’ve had my appointments at Finger Bang.When my nail tech had fallen ill, it was necessary for her to reschedule our appointment on one occasion - they were great about getting me in with someone as soon as possible, and made sure my other future appointments became properly staggered out to match my schedule for maintenance.Speaking on a personal level, Glynis is an absolute queen, as are all the people she has working for her. I’m proud of her, and I think the rest of her regulars and admirers would say the same. Thank you for blessing our city with your awesomeness!

My wife goes here as much as she can. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. They always have a movie playing and have a pinball machine if your waiting. Its a great location in a building with shops and places to eat. They also do the best work Ive seen.

I booked my appointment incorrecly but Libby got me all sorted out. I meant to book for ssculpted gel extensions, acidentally booked for a fill and Libby set me up with apres since there wasnt time for gel. She did an amazing job, they are beautiful and very sturdy! You really get what you pay for and I will absolutely be back.

I had my wedding nails done in August by Sarah. I booked months in advance because they have an amazing reputation and it’s not something you can book last minute. I knew I wanted my nails for my big day done by the best nail place in PDX. After that I was hooked! I’ve seen Sarah, Kandice, Ashley, and Mary. Everyone has been so nice and fun! The atmosphere is super chill with movies playing and amazing art on the walls. They do quality nail art you really can’t get anywhere else. One of the manicures I got chipped a couple days after I got it and they got me in to have it repaired right away and made it right. They stand behind their work! The owner takes good care of her employees and they are all so happy and you can tell they are a good team and have each other’s backs.

A little overpriced but its a fun experienceEdited for 2020I probably had one of the least thorough pedicures Ive ever had last night. All new staff. I didnt recieve a massage. The polish wasnt applied evenly. My cuticles werent even trimmed?I love the atmosphere of this salon but Id rather go elsewhere to pay less for a better service.The nail tech seemed like someone fresh out of school with no experience honestly. Im sad that I paid 45$ for this.I could have done a much better job. Sad to see that this place has gone downhill.:(

Finally a nail art salon that exceeded my expectations. DeeDee, my nail artist took my vision and ran with it. She put such detail in that with each nail she completed I was in awe. The whole staff was so warm and friendly. Thank you DeeDee for making this 65 year old feel really good about my self. I will be back and am recommending Finger Bang to all my friends

Thankful to have a salon that stays open late and stays up to date on all the rad nail trends. I personally get extensions from Alec and they’re always literally flawlwss 🔥I’d also just like to chime in reguarding the negative reviews... I’ve never once been charged for a canceled appointment (by them or myself at least a day prior) AND I’ve even had a service comped for having to wait longer than usual for my tech to finish up without my even asking. Yes, the popular techs have a bit of a wait list but they’re worth it !

First time I went in was at the Sandy location 3 years ago, loved it and mostly got pedicures bc I worked as a bartender and my jobs didn’t always allow me to have polish. When I got a new job, one way I treated myself was to their custom built nails w elaborate art. The artist took my inspiration and built the realeast looking nails that looked like a bourbon old fashioned on ice. The artists have sick technique. Last time I was in, Morgan hooked me up with what I gave her as open to anything that conveys “unapologetic barbie” which to me means pink and obnoxious and she nailed it. Pun intended. I ripped open 200 boxes at work two days later and nothing chipped - I’m very impressed with the quality!

I’m a big fan of this place & I adore the concept. My daughter (16) comes here with me & I see Luna. Luna is very talented & a rock star, my daughter typically see’s Mary Wood or Melissa M; she really enjoys the mystery manicure as they come up with creative ideas. Only a couple of times I’ve seen other artists/techs and not one is bad, all of them are talented. Every once in awhile the owner, the Madame Glynis (sp?), makes an appearance & she’s a real treat! I like that she is real; I’ve had the privilege to watch her show her compassion one night while I got my nails done. Another client was nauseated, she consoled her & was attentive to her.I like the vibes here, quality workmanship & creative artwork. Been coming here for about a year & will continue coming here. I like Ryenne as well, personable & approachable.

Incredibly disappointing experience. Came into town from Canada for a wedding and was excited to have an evening with the girls pre-wedding getting manicures and pedicures. We were greeted with the most unfriendly, rude, unprofessional worst customer service ever. She didnt even greet us or try to help us. Felt as though we were judged and ultimately didnt get appointments. Would absolutely not recommended this place.

Was beyond disappointed! I understand as Oregonians we are a big deal however our lack of ability to work with walk-ins was disheartening. If booking months in advance is the norm then hours of operation should advise appointment only and walk ins not welcome. For a progressive Portland chain to be so equiatible as the front Door advertised I would hope that accommodations are welcome not brushed off with a lackluster judgemental attitude.
