Mary did a great job with my full set of acrylic nails. She took her time, made sure the nails were balanced and had the right structure, and painted them well. My set is beautiful and I’ll certainly be back when it is time for a fill.I did have to wait 20 minutes from my scheduled appointment time(which is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5), but once they were ready for me, I felt the dedication and care Mary put into her work.

I’ve been coming to this salon to see Lily for over three years now and I will not go anywhere else! Even after moving across town I come out of my way to this salon to see her. No one has ever given me exactly what I want when it comes to my pointy nails, but Lily listens and makes them exactly how I want them every time. My shellac nails last over 4 weeks and don’t ever chip! She’s quick and professional, detail oriented, and has a wonderful attitude with a fantastic sense of humor. I give her cards out constantly due to all the compliments I get on my nails! I’ll never let anyone but Lily do my nails for me again. Thank you so much Lily, you make me feel beautiful.

Came here to have them fix the bad job a different salon did on my nails. Loved the experience but only got a clear coat this time until my nails heal. Will update star rating next time I come in for a full manicure. Update fantastic I have gone back multiple times and have not been disappointed

This salon does fabulous pedicures. They have fancy massage chairs and the technicians are skilled and friendly. I especially loved the warm wax treatment and hot stone massage. The salon is very clean and well ventilated. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love my nails!! Such a fun color. I’ve never had an almond shape before but it looks amazing. I didn’t get a chance to get the nail technician’s name, but she did great work and I will definitely be coming back.

I got a pedi this past week and it was just plain bad. They were so aggressive on the cuticle pushing and callous filing that it hurt! My toes are crooked and they’re not up front about their costs. I got a gel pedicure and no where on the service menu that they gave me did it say it would be $10 extra for gel. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if I had know, but I chose a more expensive pedicure because I didn’t know of that hidden cost.

Lily has been doing my manicures and pedicures on a regular basis for 4 years; and if you dream of having beautiful hands and feet, Lily is for you. She is so amazing, I finally convinced my husband to start getting manicures – something I’ve tried to do for years. Lily convinced him! Not only is she amazing at her craft, she is professional and personable. If you want the best, ask for Lily. She books up fast!

Received a gift certificate for 100.00 and unfortunately with all the covid stuff. It was tucked away in my wallet. When I noticed that I had not used it I noticed that it had just expired within a few days. I called and asked if they would still honor and I believe it was Kim that I to and said she would have the manager call me back. Its been several weeks now and NO call back.Would have appreciated the call back.I

I have been coming to see Lily for the past three years and I couldnt be happier. I initially visited the salon on a whim, as I used to regularly frequent a different location across town. The first time I was seated with her, she was kind and patient, even though I couldnt hold my hands still. From then on, I was a loyal customer, and I look forward to our regular appointments together. Not only is she a sweetheart, and a genuinely great person, she does a wonderful job on my nails! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

This is a very nice place. A friend and I came here for pedicures and eyebrow waxings. My friend ended up adding a manicure for herself as well. The place is very clean and the women that took care of us were very nice. They just didnt talk much to us and I wish they had engaged with us a little more. I really enjoyed my pedicure and they were very thorough but I wished it had lasted a little longer than it did. I also did not enjoy the music that was playing in the salon while we were there, it was pretty bad. Some of the better things were that they had a ton of nail polish colors to choose from, they served me some water with a lemon slice in a wine glass (that was nice) and I really enjoyed having the wax treatment on my feet as well as the hot stones. After my feet and legs were massaged the hot towels they placed on me after the fact to clean up the massage oil and things, it felt heavenly. It wasnt too hot, it was a perfect temperature. I will very likely come here again.

This is my new favorite place to get a pedicure. The prices are so reasonable, the ladies are all very nice, and the services are impressive. I got a full pedicure with hot stone massage, parafin wax, callous removal and sugar scrub. My feet are super smooth and the polish job was perfect. You get a free beverage, including wine and mamosas. I will def be going back.

WONDERFUL staff. Friendly and kind, even talking to my friend and I was we got our nails done. The building is clean and so are each place to sit down at. One of the two things that very impressed me was 1st. You buy or bring in one of the nail files. ($1) To me this so so much cleaner than using someone nail scrapes on another person.The second is, my friend and I wanted to sit by each other as we got our nails done. The staff moved the tables for us to be able to talk to each other. AMAZING staff. Thank you for giving us a great day.

I had a great experience overall. Both of the ladies that I interacted with were experienced, friendly and did a fantastic job with a lot of care. The first one showed a professional attitude by referring me to her collegue which she thought would deal better with the more problematic areas. Shellac manicure treatment exceeded my expectations with the wax treatment etc. The problematic areas were completely cured. I was even offered a complimentary drink, which I had to refuse due to my pregnancy but it made me smile. Overall it felt like a great atmosphere with a lot of happy long term customers. I felt like a whole new person at the end thanks to the excellent job on my new fingernails and hands. The picture attached is from 5 days after the manicure, and it still looks great! I cant wait to go back there for a manicure and pedicure.

This is my second time going to this place and I’m in love 😍, they are super nice and really respectful, they have the best prices in all Portland and the best massages, they also give you a complementary beverage. This is my place now on.

I felt like the nails were good but the person who did mine was super aggressive when filing and now i have a deep cut on my finger and the nail tech got acetone in my cut and i was holding back tears. i also have nail polish all over my fingers.

I was able to schedule an appointment online for the next day quickly and with ease. When I arrived the staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating. The woman doing my manicure seemed to be in a hurry, but was very detail oriented and actually listened to what I wanted. One of the best shellac manicures I’ve received! Next, I enjoyed a pedicure and thorough leg/foot massage while sipping a complimentary mimosa. My appointment went right up to closing time on Christmas Eve and the staff did not make me feel rushed or skimp on any of the services. Excellent service, clean facilities, and many gel polish color choices. I will definitely be a regular!

I actually live in Vancouver, and have tried places closer to home, but never receive the service or friendship I love about this place! Personally its overpriced for what they do. Ive been to better places with reasonable prices. Also, they didnt even bother to check Id I had more than 1 appointment and made me wait over 20 minutes before they noticed I hadnt left and was waiting at the pedicure station. Then my pedicure took half the amount of time my friends did and they didnt put a light over my toes and let me put my shoes on and ruin my pedicure. Im sorry but they just dont seem to care about good customer service.

I have tried many manicure and pedicure places in NW Portland and Mani & Pedi Nail Salon is by far the best. I really like all the little perks, like the drink menu, the wide and very organized choice of polish, and the chit chat (most of the people there speak pretty good English). They keep the salon very clean and are always happy to see you. You dont feel like you are on a conveyor line, or just another pair of feet or hands. I have sent many friends there and they love it too!!

I made an appointment on their website for a spa pedicure and an eyebrow wax at 2pm.When I came in, they couldnt seem to find my appointment without a struggle and they didnt seem to have the correct services I had reserved. When we finally got that issue resolved, I was asked to wait, which took 15 minutes before being called back (which made me wonder what was the point of making an appointment in the first place).When I was called back, I was asked if I had picked my nail polish (never asked to do so when asked to wait), but I had brought my own bottle anyway. I was then asked if I had brought my own nail file. No. I was never instructed to do so when I made my appointment. I was rather baffled because every other place Ive gotten a pedicure never made me bring in my own supplies. Perhaps I had to purchase them, but they were available one way or another. Nope, not here.This was when I decided to leave. Enough was enough.So, in the end I wasted my gas money as I was coming from the other side of Portland, and I wasted $3+ on the parking meter.

This is my favorite nail salon in the area. They have a lot of color options and are very professional. I always get compliments on my nails after I come here! You will most likely need to make a reservation because they get pretty busy.

The staff is totally nice and the place is relaxing.... but their manicures suck. Im totally bummed. I decided to treat myself to a manicure after over a year of not having one because today was my birthday. I splurged and Im sad I did. I could have used the money for something else :(First problem is she didnt put enough coats on to look nice....you can still see my nail through the Polish. It needed a few more coats. Second problem is I honestly could have done a nicer job myself- shellac is usually beautiful and glassy and pretty... This looks dull. Like regular polish. I was pretty sad when i left. Third problem I didnt even get to my home before the shellac had peeled. Also I was dissapointed they could make stripes on one nail because they dont do that. Its simple lines...I wish I had my $50 back. Save your cash and head down the street to mimosa nail salon. I should have known better than to save a few bucks☹️

The staff is friendly and the environment is relaxing. However, they tend to overbook and then rush through your service because walk-ins are waiting. Its highly suggested that you make an appointment which can now be done online. Also, be careful who does your manicure and pedicure. Kim tends to layer on the shellac and isnt too detail-oriented around the cuticles. So you end up with very thick nails and lopsided cuticle lines. Thu and Tu give outstanding manicures as does Tim when he isnt rushing. Lien can be rough with filing during a pedicure. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to other places and you get a beverage of your choice - wine, mimosa, coffee, etc. and parafin wax with even the basic spa pedi. They also give a 5% discount for paying in cash which is great when I remember to bring it (there is an ATM across the street). Unfortunately, Ive booked my last three appointments online and havent once got the service provider I selected during the online process. I say either remove the choice or honor the request and book appointments accordingly. On average, I am satisfied with the quality of Mani & Pedi. They will learn your name and greet you in a friendly manner. They are attentive to your needs and have great senses of humor. They are hardworking providers who genuinely try and satisfy the customer. Ill keep coming here as long as I live in the neighborhood.

I went initially to get a full set of acrylics. The staff was very nice and the man who did my nails was really nice and fun to talk to. The nails looked great until about four days later when two of them fell off and chipped. A full set should last at least a week before they fall off or chip so I’m disappointed.

Everyone is very friendly! The staff always remembers me even if its been months since my last appointment. They do great work and have great prices. My favorite! I wont go anywhere else.

Scheduled a gel appointment online.I showed up on time, then waited 18 minutes for staff to become available.Then 3 different staff members worked on my nails!!There was no time for a hand massage, as my parking meter was out of time.They are generally right on time!!

I booked a shellac manicure because the previous day I tried to walk in about the same time and was turned away because they were busy. No big deal, I understood that...but if you want to try here I highly suggest making an appointment though.When I got there they tried to set me up at one of the pedicure stations even though on the phone I said manicure and they confirmed it with me. After I said no...a manicure they all kind of looked at each other like they werent sure what to do, but quickly got me set up at one of the manicure stations, which was appreciated.I had old gel on my nails so the woman had to take it off, and she scraped a few of my fingers badly with the file to the point that they stung the whole time they were in the acetone wrap.For the wrap they had these plastic clips instead of foil, which was cool until she asked me to look through their giant bin of colors (great selection by the way, that was something I did like) with these things on. Which was basically impossible because you cant do much with these things on your fingers. She stood there awkwardly trying to help me find the colors I was looking for, showing me wheels one after another. This went on for a few minutes until I finally just said okay go with these because I was tired of this awkward pressure. I think it would be a better idea to have the clients look at the colors when they can actually use their hands. The way they did it makes no sense and it was a bit stressful with the manicurist standing over me the whole time not really saying anything. I felt like I was taking too long and just ended up picking colors that I probably wouldnt have had I had the time to look through them myself.The rest of the manicure after that went alright. They changed manicurists halfway through. The first one didnt really talk to me, just kind of gestured to things and looked at me expecting me to say something which I didnt know what to say or what she was even asking, which added to the stress of what should have been a nice experience.The REAL kicker though was on my way home I was looking at my nails and found two of them had hairs encased in the gel and one of them had bubbles. Definitely a disappointing experience for a place that has such high reviews. I wont be back.

I walked in at 1pm, there were 4 guests in chairs and no one in the waiting area. I was immediately asked if what I would need to which I responded mani and pedi. I was told that I couldn’t be serviced. I asked why, she said because they were busy. I said I could wait, she said no and asked if I had an appointment. I stated that the signage outside said “walk-ins welcome” to which she responded no, “not for you, sorry.”I am completely dumbfounded and found this experience extremely unfortunate. I would not recommend this place.

My friend and I had an appointment for 2 pedicures. We waiting in the lobby for 25 minutes after our appointments before asking how much longer. They then sat us down and started working on my friendminutes later they started me. It was 40 minutes after our scheduled time. By that time I asked for a polish chance only because I had to get back to my daughter. The gal was very rude and looked very irritated. She rushed me through and was very rough when touching my feet. I will never go back. I work at a salon on NW 23rd and will advise anyone I know not to go to this nail salon. I was so disappointed.

Went in for a pedi a few weeks ago. The ladies were all super nice. They were all busy and told me there would be a 15 minute wait. It ended up taking only maybe 10 minutes. Once I was seated they immediately presented me with a menu and asked me what pedicure I wanted. After the lady started I overheard another customer try and get services for free and it was really upsetting because she CLEARLY got a mani/pedi and then said oh well I just cant afford that much! THEN DONT GET IT DONE!!! Dont try and con hardworking people.Anyways the woman doing my service did an amazing job. She also offered me something to drink from their little drink menu. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Kim did a horrible job , over charged me an left nail polish on my skin did my nails for 3 hours an made me wait an extra 15 minutes to get my design done horribly . My sister got hers done too they messed those up too & over priced tf outta me .
