I can’t speak to the job they do for fancy nails BUT if you’re looking for a clean well done manicure &/ pedicure with all the pampering you’ve found your place.Hanna did a wonderful job on my pedicure. Hot stone + scrub + buff & polish. She was kind and patient with my twitchy toes.I didn’t get the name of the woman who did my manicure but she was unbelievably kind and patient. I’ve had these services done other place and not been happy. I’ve become a custom to asking for less & hoping I get half that. She did exactly what I asked & then asked again if I was sure. Which I found very kind.I will be back when I can also enjoy a glass of wine.

The pedicure was incredibly sloppy. The technician was in a rush and my nails weren’t painted very well at all. There’s even some paint around the skin of the nail. I am super disappointed.

Gel pedicure turned out good, but it took forever! I was in the chair for 1 hour 25 min. My butt hurt from sitting. And I get regular pedicures, just first time trying this place. Sorry, Ive had much better in Portland.

Online booking was so easy. I love my pedicure. I felt pampered and relaxed. It was exactly what I needed.

This is my favorite nail salon! Very clean and comfortable inside.Kimmy is friendly and takes time to make sure nails are done correctly. This last visit she spent time evening out my shellac polish that was cured with a few bumps. Great attention to detail.

I usually am very insecure with my nails because it is so short and I do a lot of labor work with them. The sweet lady who did my nails made me feel so comfortable and made them so pretty that it sparkles being great for my office work. The space is so neat and the calm music in the background was very relaxing. I got a gel done and the collagen glove made my hand feel so refresh! The place is very clean and very inviting. Would defiantly stop by again when I am back in Portland :)

I hate giving bad reviews. Everyone here was very nice but my toe was cut badly. I can barely wear even a loose shoe today, with a bandaid on.

This is a family-run business, and everyone who serviced me for my manicure and pedicure, as well as my eyebrow waxing service, were diligent and meticulous, conversational and wonderfully kind. I recommend this place in the highest regard. You will not be disappointed.

Clean beautiful space, adherence to covid protocols. Great service for my gel manicure with lots of color choices. A week later and they still look good as new which is impressive considering I work with power tools all day and am *very* hard on my nails.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Im surprised this place does not have many reviews. Its very clean and COVID-safe. The salon itself is pristine, chairs/tables are even wiped down between every client. They never overbook, a problem Ive seen in so many salons even during a pandemic. Theres an awesome Buddha statue blessed by a monk to give out good vibes for your stay😊 The massage chairs are very comfortable. They use disposable liners for pedicures and so many wonderful scents to choose from for their spa pedicure. The color selection is ENORMOUS and has all the good brands (OPI, CND, Gelish, iGel, etc.) You can book your service online which makes it super convenient. Street parking is plentiful right in front of the salon so thats a huge plus!! Theyll ask you what kind of music youd like to listen to, or play relaxing music which I really appreciate. They are personable and welcoming. I get the best self-care experience every time. Try them out, I absolutely recommend. Everything that Ive gotten done here (gel/dip) lasts FOREVER!

This is one of the best nail salons in the PDX area, hands down. Kimmy , the new owner of Shimmering Nails & Spa, went out of her way to make me feel at home and comfortable, all while doing an excelling job with my mani pedi. Not to mention, they did a great job keeping things extra clean and sanitary. I would highly recommend.
