UPDATE #2: Like I said yesterday, I only got my nails done (Dip) on Wednesday and by Saturday morning the wre chos and bubbles, by Saturday afternoon several had actually popped off... by Saturday night they were all off! I have NEVER had this happen with Dip before. Maybe the young lady that diss mmy nails missed a step?? Waste of money, & LOTS of myb time (took soooo long!), for sure! :-(UPDATE: so its only a few days later and this happened, on two different nails, Im hoping that they find a way to compensate me for this. I would be a little more understanding if it was just the shellac but this is a dip, it should last at least a couple weeks! Once/if they take care of the situation I will replace with 5 Stars!Although it took much longer than I anticipated the gal that did my nails did a meticulous and an impeccable job (I thought!)

Thank you Nails Express for giving me great nails. There are modern chairs, good masages. They prepared everything safe, protective for us during the coronavirus. Their staff are friendly. I love that place. ❤️❤️

Cannot rave about this place enough! The ladies there remembered me after being on lock down for three months. Still even knew the nail shape I prefer! They always treat me wonderfully and listen to what I want. My nails always turn out just like I ask or go far beyond my expectations. Like todays gorgeous fill. I wanted to treat myself to some rhinestones. And, Oh my gosh! We were both so thrilled with how they turned out!Icing on the cake? THE PRICES! More than reasonable. I was prepared to pay more, and would have happily. I hope my tip reflected that.

Walked in for a manicure. Instead got an extremely rude technician that did not take care to paint regular nail polish properly. When I asked a few times for her to correct it, she was extremely rude about it so I asked her to take it off and left.

I made an appointment for both me and my elderly mother. My mother had such bad in grown toe nails that she was going to go to the podiatrist. The owner came over and took care of her in grown nails. They were so accomadating to us. Great job on the Pedicure. I live in Washington State, but my mother lives just minutes away. They will have a new loyal customer in her.

Vani does an outstanding job with nails! I have been to many different salons throughout the Portland and Bend Oregon area, and Nails Express is by far my FAVORITE! It is a very inviting, clean and calming environment.I had a pedicure by Helen who was also fantastic! She was fast, efficient, yet gentle.Thank you both!

Ive been here three times, since under new ownership and have always had a wonderful experience. I brought my husband in for pedi yesterday and he said he wants to come back. That is saying A LOT! :)I would also like to mention how clean the place is. And everyone is very nice!

I went there three times, and the first time it was great! The second time it was okay. But last night was a disaster! The lady was in such a hurry that she did a terrible job on my nails. None of them were filed straight, they were ridiculously square, when I wanted round, and came in with round nails. She couldnt use the polish correctly and had to get one of her co-workers to help her out, but when I saw the state of my nails, I just said take off the polish, Im going home to fix my nails myself. Her co-worker tried to get me to stay and she said she would fix my nails, but they were such a mess and I had been there for so long already (even if I had made an appointment, they couldnt see me on time) that I was out of patience.

Most underrated nail salon. This place is the best for shellac acrylics!

Titi did my pedicure today and it was wonderful all the way from the leg massage to the beautiful toenails. I am VERY particular and was VERY pleased from the moment I entered the salon until I left. It was a nice relaxing experience for a pedicure.

I have never been treated so terribly. I came in 5 days ago to get a fill and to have a nail repaired. Id never been here before but I was desperate and found this place as it was still open at 6pm. The girl was nice the first time. Charged the typical $35 for the fill but then $5 more for the repair. Within 4 days my nail broke and I came in as soon as I could to have it fixed. (I was out of town over the weekend) I walked in and asked if they would fix my nail and they gave me the worst time. They chatted among themselves in their language for almost a minute before they had acknowledged I had said anything and then asked me who did my nails. (I have no idea, they all look very similar! ) Then they asked me When I got them done and if I was sure I got them done here. Nobody once treated me warmly or apologized, or tried to even be slightly nice and accommodating. I now have a fixed nail but she did it so quick and didnt even file it properly so its all rough and uneven. She didnt even fully take off the other nail so Im sure this one will fall off soon. I know for sure if it does I WONT come back to this place. Im not one to write bad reviews, (or reviews at all) but this place made me livid. If getting sub-par service and being treated like scum is cool with you then come here- otherwise I strongly suggest finding another salon.

They go out of their way to make it great. Giang (Jan) is the best. Made my daughters birthday wonderful.

Not a great experience and I will not return. I am giving it one stars for the nice attitude. Dropped in for a polish change and found the salon to be dirty and messy - there are no decorations to speak off and there is a layer of thick dust and grime on everything. The staff was hurried even though there was no one waiting and the staff member who did my nails answered the phone during my polish change and then asked me if I would interrupt my service to give the customer on the phone directions. I declined. I think it is rude to ask a customer to speak to another customer to give them directions because they staff is too busy to do it themselves.My existing manicure was only 5 days old, but I wanted to change the color. My polish was removed haphazardly leaving residue around the cuticles, then she polished my nails - applying it too thickly and unevenly (some of the edges and tips were not covered). They DO NOT have nail dryers so they turn on a little fan to help dry your nails. And, they do not have quick dry top coat - so you end of with FOUR coats (base, polish x2 and top coat) of polish and a tiny fan to let them dry. She did not clean around the edges of the nails so I have polish on my skin.It has been 4 hours and already the polish is looking warn and I have a professional job that does does not wear on my nails.I cannot recommend this nail salon at all. It is poorly maintained, hurried, sloppy and unprofessional. I am definitely going back to my salon in the Pearl, no question about it.

DO NOT GET ACRYLICS HERE. They are sweet but have no clue what they are doing when it comes to acrylics. I have so much acrylic under the fake nail, its disgusting. There are bubbles in my nails and they missed spots and left them without paint even after I asked them to fix it. My thumb nail has a huge crater in it. And it was $40 for this mess. I am sad and disappointed.

If they arent busy, youll get good service, if they are busy, theyll rush you through. Im willing to tip more if I get careful attention and dont feel compelled to come back if not.

Walking in to Express nails both my friend and I were immediately greeted upon entering the establishment. We came in for a Mani/Pedi and the woman asked if we had brought in our own nail kit (clippers, Emory boards, ect.) to use them directed up to pick out a color and she started the spa for us to get our Pedicures. Looking at the color selection they had, we were rushed to pick a color we wanted so I grabbed a few different colors to look at while I was sitting getting my pedicure to decide on them. Getting in the chair the woman ripped both of the colors I had chosen out of my hand and tossed them in a basket next to her on the floor rolling her eyes where I then asked to see them again so I could choose what color I wanted.During the pedicure the woman did a very poor job and wasn’t very interactive with us. She seemed very irritated and rushed the spa aspect of the pedicure. It wasn’t very relaxing at all.Getting up to move from getting a pedicure to getting a manicure the women did not bother putting shoes on either of our feet and had us walk across a dirty floor barefoot. Where we were then separated and 4 different woman worked on our nails moving us numerous times to different desks. During the manicure they had us place our hands in a dirty bowl of cold water they poured when we first walked in.The tools they used were not sanitized what so ever and they had used the same exact tools on both my friend and I along with whom ever they used them on before we came in.When going to wash our hands there were no clean/sanitized brushes to use nor were there any clean towels. There was one wet towel on the counter of the sink that multiple customers and employers have used over and over again and one of the woman doing my friends nails went outside twice and came back in picking up where she left off without washing her hands. There didn’t appear to be any business license on display either and upon leaving whilst waiting 10 minutes to pay after our mani/pedis another woman checked us out and demanded me to leave a tip.I along with others would love to see and experience a clean,sterile, and relaxing environment. Including clean sterile tools and towels for every customer. Paying $60 to get a mani/pedi you should not be expected to bring in your own tools. This is uncalled for. If that is the case my friend and I would have stayed home and painted one another’s nails. Don’t want to be made to feel like an inconvenience for supporting a local business and definitely would not like to be made to feel pressured to tip for such poor service and quality.

Owners and staff are very kind and welcoming! They do excellent work and the pedicures are amazing.

Worst manicure Ive ever had. Nails had bubbles under them, but the girl didnt care at all. Nails were chipped by the next day. Cuticles are a total mess!!! I would NEVER recommend anyone come here.
