First time going to this salon and I wish I could say better things.The ladies are very nice and sweet but the actually service needs work.I’ve never paid so much for both pedicure and manicure but I paid $102 on Saturday for gel pedicure and dip manicure.I went back today and I wont lie, my nails look better but the top coat on my thumb is already peeling off. They use the UV light for their top coat over dip.I wasn’t satisfied with my pedicure either but I just didn’t want to spend more time there.The process they do is very different from others I’ve been to and their equipment isn’t the cleanest. Even the brush they use to dust off your hands had some glitter on it that later stuck to my white dip paint.My nails were shorter than asked and even crooked. I left thinking I would get over it but no, that’s $120..I went back today to show them and they didn’t seem to recognize what was wrong with them. They removed the cuticles since they weren’t removed the first time. And they only fixed 3 nails. Even though there was no one else there, they were rushing the process. Again, they look better but still see the glitter in some nails and the top coat peeling.Nice people but I wouldn’t go back.- In my pics, the yellow arrows are first visit and blue arrows are the second visit to get fixed -

This nail salon is one of the best Ive gone to. Their professionalism and kindness is unmatched! My MIL came into town and we occasionally like getting our nails done together. I took her here and she said it was the best nail experience shes ever had. The techs are so kind and friendly, and they really love engaging with you as they do your nails.This time specifically, both my MIL and I were getting mani pedis, but in my mani I wanted acrylics. They went out of their way to begin my manicure during my pedi with extra care to ensure we both ended our visit at the same time. And my nails look amazing! Cant wait to go back.

They are so so nice here. Gorgeous and professional work, and they are so gentle, I am really squeamish about having my toes touched but they were amazing. An additional plus is that they use liners for their foot baths so everything feels extra hygienic. Love them, highly recommend!

I didnt want to say anything negative about this place, but I feel like people should know. This was by far the worst pedicure I have ever had. She took over an hour to remove the gel polish from a previous pedicure (at a different salon). I paid to get the extra treatment and she didnt do it. She did not even trim cuticle and I barely received lotion and certainly no scent that was supposed to be included.. The polish got dinged because I was at such an awkward angle trying to keep the my foot in the light machine while balancing it that I was getting cramps. She tried to fix it by applying more polish. She tried to file more on my nails after the polish was on, then tried to fix it when a piece chunks off. In the end they charged me 75 dollars and it still was not right. All this took three hours!! I just wanted out, so I paid and got the hell out of there. You decide, but I for one have warned you!

What a nice place to get your nails done!Using the message button on the businesss Google page, I made an appointment only about 2 hours in advance, which is pretty much last minute.I just moved to this side of town, and needed to find a new nearby salon for my partner and I.This place ended up being the perfect choice for us! I got a gel manicure, and she got a pedicure and manicure with polish she brought from home. Both of our nails look so nice! Were definitely coming back, and definitely please with the service here.They were very kind, very knowledgeable and communicative with me. Id never done gel before, but they explained all the advantages and the princess to me before I had to pick what I wanted.Were both super pleased, to say the least, about our nails. Great price for the amount of professionalism and hospitality. Free drinks were provided during the procedures, and gentle massage was provided after my nails were done! All in all, great shop. Im excited to have a new place to try all the nail styles on the wall, which is a seemingly endless selection of color, glitter, dips, etc.Ill add photos when its not going to wake people up to have a flash in here.Thanks, Krystal Nail Salon!

I was close to putting 2 stars here...in short, I just moved very close to this location and would have loved a local nail salon. But I will not be coming here again. Worst gel mani I have ever gotten. On the flip side, the pedi was one of the best.

I LOVED my experience here! I happen to be visiting from out of town and I’m going to try to cram in another visit before I leave! So professional, attentive and kind. I got my first dip powder a few weeks ago at another salon, which came out disastrous, but Jolie at Krystal Nail Salon completely remedied the situation. My nails look amazing and healthy again! The mimosa and arm/shoulder massage were also LUSH. I wish I could give 10 stars!!

Ive never had a bad experience at Krystal. Ive never had to wait, the techs are all professional and welcoming, the place is clean and comfortable, and my sad nails always look happy and great when I leave.

Found this place by accident but it was meant to be!I definitely will return. Simple and calm yet chic decor without all the fuss. Staff is fantastic, courteous, happy and personable! I took my friend to this place and they did a poor job on her nail on top of it we couldnt get the nail we actually wanted and they didnt care she hates her nails I paid $52 for her nails I think I should get refunded

I came here a couple times to have sns dip powder done on my nails. Im not a fan of the way they do it. It took two full hours each time, they keep switching who is helping me, and my nails end up uneven and dull.I think theyd be fine for other services, but I would pass this place if you want a good dip powder experience. 4 of my nails have broken and with dip, I usually dont have a problem unless Im doing hard labor. Ive nearly ruined a pair of tights from all the snagging from the broken nails. Too expensive for the crummy job they do with dip.

I love Julie. She always makes me feel welcome. Her personality and customer service alone makes me come back every time. Shes fair and great at what she does. She even makes my young daughters feel special. Love this place!! 💚💚💚

Just had a wonderful experience at Krystal!The nail artists were so sweet and friendly, and so careful! My nails turned out beautifully and I’m so relaxed after the warm oil massage. The salon was clean and cute and they have so many great color options! I’ll def be back.

I came in to get my nails done it was one person who started on one hand then another lady came over and finished my other hand then by the time they put a third lady on my finger nail polish I was just ready to go. One hand looks completely different than the other and they really had the nerve to charge me $50 for this . I went back to get them fixed because keep in mind I didn’t even get them polished it took three hours for them just to get done with switching me around to do both hands . Within two days one mail is already broke . But other than that this is how they let me walk out with my nails like.

Absolutely the best service and quality in Portland. I followed Jolie from her previous place and travel outside my area just to go there. My last shellac pedicure lasted a month and I got so many compliments. Great prices and a variety of services make Krystal nails a one stop salon 👍🏼

I never post reviews but seriously loved loved loved my experience here with my mom! We both got the deluxe pedicures and all the girls there were so pleasant and professional. Very clean and sanitary (I am a licensed cosmetologist). The entire appointment was a great experience both me and my mother will be returning clients!! She texted me days after to talk about how she loves her toes.

Came down from Tacoma, Wa. to visit my boyfriend and decided to get my nails done while he was at work. They had good reviews and ratings and close to where I was staying. They were very nice. Welcomed you upon entering. Asked if I wanted a beverage. They were helping other people, but told me how long the wait was and it was very short. She told me how much things were before she started and gave me option if I wanted something cheaper. I will definitely go again when Im in town. Thanks Krystal Nails.

It was my first time but definitely not my last! Great customer service I had my son with me and they treated him very nicely they didnt say anything about him having his phone up so loud. They got kinda busy while I was getting my pedicure and it was only three of them working and they managed to make it work and I think it was at least 10 of us in the shop

Decided to check this place out yesterday as its close to my new home, but I shouldve paid much more close attention to how long ago most of the positive reviews were posted, because I cant imagine ANYONE being happy with the experience I went through.The journey started with a feet exfoliation that left me literally bleeding (without so much as an apology, or at the very least an acknowledgement), followed by a cut to my toe with the nail clippers (this time graced with a barely audible and insincere sorry), a scalding hot towel, then we were on to the manicure station. I shouldve just stopped there. As we got started, my nail technician began frantically looking between her watch and the clock overhead, drastically picking up speed while not paying any attention to detail, leaving a sloppily done paint job on my hands. I assumed she had booked an appointment on top of mine, hence the visible panic, just to have that assumption confirmed when her 4 oclock came in and I was rushed out the door.Now, I may have been able to overlook the physical agony that was dealt to me throughout the appointment IF the polish job had come out well. HOWEVER, leaving the salon just under $115 poorer with a sloppily done mani-pedi and feet that were literally bleeding left me feeling a little more than cross. You couldnt pay me to come back here. Take it from me, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

The new owners of this convenient location have re-vamped the inside, and it looks great! I have had acrylics done there, and I now do my natural nail with dipping powder. The results have been spot-on and the nail tech, Jolie, is a very sweet woman with solid skills. I am now a regular. Give them a try!

It was amazing the lady did my nails and they look amazing but just one thing she put glue on my finger nail and tried to fit the tips if it did not fit she would PUT IT BACK IN THE CONTAINER OF THE TIPS with the glue still on it and she was being really rough and my nails are now kinda bumpy... but it was great❤

Julie is amazing!!!! My nails are amazing! I was offered a complimentary drink, received incredible customer service, and Julie worked a miracle fixing a bad nail job that another shop did. This place is outstanding!!!

Update on my other review my nails were not connected to my real nails so they were lifting, also 5 nails broke off and I just got my nails done on Wednesday and today is Monday they nails start breaking on Thursday the day i went on vacation.

I paid $130 for a full set and a pedicure. My nails where so badly shaped and she cut my finger really bad. The foils I asked for on my finger weren’t even the same and one was put on upside down. I will NEVER get my nails done here again.

Ive visited this place twice now. Once I got a gell mani and the other time a gell mani and regular deluxe pedi, and my eyebrows waxed. The first time I went my nails lasted a month! She did an excellent job! The second time they did a good job, but not as good as the first one. The gell was a little thick and my cuticles were dry the next day. For the price I still feel like I got a great service. I would happily go back.

I went in today for the first time for a mani/pedi. I have had a few in Portland and had not been satisfied. I went in with no expectations and was just blown away. My to go to place from here on out for a mani/pedi. Tou and Lee were excellent.

Great customer service.

I asked for a full set of coffin shaped acrylic nails. What I got was chemical burns and accused of having sensitive skin. After asking for them to be removed I was given neosporin and it immediately stopped the burning. Proving that its a burn. On top of that the nail shape is completely wrong and ugly. Really nice lady though. Took 3 hours. Dont go unless you want to waste your time and money.

I walked in they were very nice but when we were done I thought the nails were very thin the next day I broke my right pointer finger then I went to a different salon to get it fixed and the same day my left thumb broke today I went to get it fixed and guess what my other thumb broke , it’s not like I’m being reckless but they really did not give me my money’s worth im very disappointed I’ve spent almost 15$ replacing nails my acrylics are still fresh only a week old today

They give good haircuts, usually with no wait time, for a great price. Will definitely return.

Good nail work.

Went in to get a haircut; asked for a low fade, and gave her specific specs. She was confused from the beginning for some reason. The haircut was terrible, and she gave me a HIGH fade. A botched high fade that looked more like a bowl cut because it was wasnt blended. She shooed me out of the salon without even wiping the stray hair off my face and neck. I refused to pay. Never going again.
